The Flash, Westworld, Orange is The New Black: Completely unexpected eliminations!

While the first phase of the 2017 World Cup is now over, many completely unexpected series have been eliminated. We make the point!
The parade of the losers! Yes, the meltynauts, if many series have managed to pass the very first stage of this 2017 World Cup, others have unfortunately not succeeded in convincing you and have therefore been eliminated. While melty’s editor suggested you discover which series were selected for the round of 16 , let’s come back together on all the shows we thought were untouchable and yet rolled!
The Flash
This is the big fall for the DC Comics show. Indeed, if Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow managed to make it into the round of 16, it is not the case of The Flash which is perhaps under the third set of reverses below the previous ones. It leaves its place at Stranger Things, a real phenomenon this year and at The Vampire Diaries which offered us its very last season this year. Big disappointment for all fans of The Flash who hoped to see her brandishing the trophy.
Westworld
The HBO show did not last very long in the competition and it is quite unexpected given the success it has met with the public. New, fresh and disconcerting, Westworld had managed to attract the favors of the greatest number thanks to an original, complex and deep pitch. If she has not managed to go further, we can imagine that it is because it has stopped being broadcast a few months and that its second season will not be launched before 2018. Fortunately, the fans will remain to him Faithful!
Orange is The New Black
The Netflix series had almost managed to beat Arrow in the first round but it was not enough. Fans of the green archer awoke to the very last second offering him a great victory. It is a pity for the girls of the series who can boast of having proposed a fifth season of thunder. However, we bet she could go much further next year and why not even afford the supreme title! Come on, let’s not lose hope!
Prison Break
Yes, the meltynauts, we put a lot on the Revival of Prison Break. A real phenomenon when it was broadcast on M6 seven years ago, we were convinced that the return of Michael and Lincoln would enchant you and make you want to vote for her. Like that, even a limited season is not guaranteed to please the greatest number. Will she have a chance to go further next year? Probably ! While the season 4 of The Flash will be launched next October on the CW, here is why Wally is not yet ready to take the place of Barry!
Will Wally West become the new The Flash? Yes, the meltynauts, the doubt is still allowed since Barry chose to retire in the Speed Force in order to repair his mistakes . It must be said that he was very selfish last season in deciding to save his mother without thinking about the consequences this could have on his relatives. While Melty wrote you to discover all the clues that should have jumped at us about the transformation of Caitlin into Killer Frost in the season 3 of The Flash , here is why Wally is not yet ready to become the hero Of the show!
He is still a novice
To begin, it should not be forgotten that Wally has its powers for less than a year. Remember, it was during a confrontation with Savitar that Wally ended up getting his speed. So he’s still in front of training and even though he has already saved Barry on many occasions, he often made choices that put everyone in danger. He would still need some supervision before he could be the hero the city needs in Barry’s absence . Will Jay Garrick teach him?
It is too reckless
Wally does not have the same character of Barry and he tends to go head-on without being wary of the CW . Adrenaline racer, he was already taking big risks when car racing. But now that he has his powers, he sometimes does not think and think himself invincible. This is especially what happened when Savitar trapped him and locked him in the Speed Force. Hopefully he can think before acting!
He is too guided by his emotions
Wally is still inexperienced and like Barry before him, he lets himself be guided by his emotions. Pain, joy, anger, euphoria, all the feelings of Kid Flash seem to fight in him and he sometimes forgets to make the best decisions. These series have started very well … Then we dropped the case. Too long, too flat, we quickly get tired!
We all knew this: A new series starts, we hang on it at all costs but there is nothing to do. The charm is broken. They often start very well until our nerves drop. Here are the series we all enjoyed watching before they come out through the eyes !
New Girl
Jessica, a totally off-beat young woman who arrives in a colocation of guys after being badly dropped. The scenario could only please us! We loved the first seasons, we laughed in front of our screens at each episode … Then it became less good, more when Nick and Jess joined in season 3 . Pity !
Pretty Little Liars
You too loved the beginnings of PLL? I think we all agree today, but what is their problem? Everything had begun well, we were even downright addicted, in search of this famous A. Except that impatience weighed us in the long run and we dropped the case!
Heroes
The basic idea was good! Humans with a brain with exceptional abilities , able to acquire new powers by training … But it quickly beat us, in fact!
The Vampire Diaries
What is good with vampires is that they are immortal, what is annoying with vampires is that they are immortal! By dint of always always seeing the same thing, we preferred to stop there. And then what’s the point of continuing without Nina Dobrev?
The 100
One of the series that was released in the first season. The population on Earth completely decimated after a nuclear holocaust but valiant humans managed to survive in their space station … In short. Boring a bit … But obviously, the last season is cool, so it may be worth the hook to the final !
Once Upon a Time
The first 3 seasons were good, the story and its characters were on the road … But after it’s totally gone peanut and you loosely abandoned!
Dexter
This series has undergone a descent to hell … It should have stopped a long time ago . 9 seasons that could have been done in 4 to avoid repetition. Total boredom!
Prison Break
“I do not have time, my mind slips away. No choice, just go !” Thank you Faf Larage for this BO that we will never forget, but more seriously: Prison Break , it was really top, season 1 will remain in the annals. But it is the only one!
The Scott brothers !
This series was fire! Until Peyton and Lucas barred without warning . Not cool guys! We deserved better than that, frankly …
Friends VS How I Met Your Mother: Same Fight!
We loved these series! Excellent, cults, they made us crazy! Rendered with impatience! No, but serious, Ted? Your children have had time to die of boredom sitting on their chairs from season 1 to season 9 ! Especially that we did everything to hold to the end (by zaping a lot of episodes) to finally find out who was the mother of your kids! All that for that … Friends and its 10 seasons had the same effect. Everyone’s tastes, eh! Which series would you add to the list?

A curse that we should have seen coming! Yes, the meltynauts, if all fans of the comics already knew that Caitlin Snow was destined to become Killer Frost, the others would have had a hard time imagining that the nice scientist could be tempted by evil. And yet, many clues could have guided us along this path . While the editor of melty proposed to you to discover our top 3 of the best episodes of season 3 of The Flash , let us take stock of all the details that should have jumped out of our eyes!
The death of Ronnie
If our pretty heroine has always been adorable, she has also suffered greatly and first with the double death of Ronnie. Indeed, at the beginning of the show, we learned that the young man had succumbed during the explosion of the particle accelerator . Terribly sad, Caitlin was trying to regain a taste for life and she had succeeded until Ronnie reappeared, married her and ended up dying a second time. What to weaken it!
The Betrayal of Jay Garrick aka Hunter Zolomon
Defeated, Caitlin decided to take on her and return to Team Flash. But very quickly, she was seduced by the beautiful Jay Garrick. The two will start a nice story until we discover that he hid his game well and that it was Zoom . A terrible betrayal followed by a kidnapping offered Caitlin new painful trials. How not to be even more lost after that?
His confrontation with Killer Frost
While Zoom kept her a prisoner of Earth-2, Caitlin met Killer Frost of Earth-2. A delicate confrontation that touched in the heart the pretty brunette. It must be said that his double evil knew how to tap where it hurt to burst all his weaknesses. After this meeting, Caitlin was afraid to end up looking like him one day and we understand why!
The Flashpoint
Already his life was terribly complicated, Barry had to go back in time and upset the course of his life by giving him powers that she absolutely did not want on the CW . Terrified by this possibility, she kept this secret for her for a while then letting herself slide towards her shadowy side .
Caitlin’s mother
This season we also met with Caitlin’s mother. And it was incarnate coldness! With such a difficult relationship with her mother, no doubt she was lost, alone and fragile. Supernatural season 13: Finally a spin-off for the series?

The CW would be preparing a spin-off of the Supernatural series! More …
The fans of Supernatural have something to rejoice since the American channel CW is setting up a spin-off of the series. Only we do not get too fast because the channel had already tried to make a spin-off of the show a few years ago but the project had failed . The CW does not abandon its idea and is preparing a new spin-off called Wayward Sisters. Good news waiting for Supernatural’s season 13 to arrive on our screens on October 12th! Definitely, all our favorite series will be entitled to a spin-off next year: After Gray’s Anatomy , it’s Supernatural’s turn!
Supernatural spin-off , Wayward Sisters , will tell the story of our dear sheriff Jody Mills, still interpreted by Kim Rhodes and a group of young women with problems: all orphaned because of a supernatural tragedy. Under the protection of Jody Mills, they will train to combat these paranormal phenomena . If all goes well, we should discover the pilot Wayward Sisters (in reference to the famous song of the group Kansas) during this season 13 Supernatural … Hopefully the series then see the light! The Flash Season 3: Our top 3 episodes of the season!

While the season 4 of The Flash will not be broadcast until next October, return on the three best episodes of season 3!
We take stock! Yes, the meltynauts, if the third one of the show has sometimes been uneven, the fact remains that several episodes have marked us enormously. While the series will unfortunately not return before the re-entry on the CW , it’s time to go back on the episodes that have transported this year . While Melty was writing to find out who could play DeVoe in Season 4 of The Flash with Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries) or Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) , here are our top 3 episodes of the season !
3 / Cause and Effect (3×21)
This episode marked a small pause in the heavy intrigue between Savitar and The Flash. If it served essentially to delay the confrontation of the two enemies, it had the merit to offer us a good breath of fresh air just before the last two episodes much more serious. It must be said that we laughed on discovering that Cisco had erased Barry’s memory by accident and that the latter now had a blissful air and a lightness that was unfamiliar to him. Under the frivolous surroundings, this episode showed us the path traveled by our hero who seemed to finally accept his suffering and move on. Above all, we realized that even if Barry was happy, he was unfortunately the Barry we knew and loved.
2 / Paradox (3×02)
If the Season premiere had somewhat disappointed the fans, the second episode was very intense. We discovered the new Timeline created by our hero and it was clear that he had put a damn mess in the lives of his relatives. For the first time, Barry appeared as the villain of his own story, who had not hesitated to show selfishness by bringing his mother back without worrying about the consequences this might have had on his friends. And we can say, nothing was like before . Between Caitlin’s powers, the death of Cisco’s brother, Caitlin’s powers, and so on, Barry became aware of his mistakes. But “Paradox” was also an opportunity to learn more about the Doctor Alchemy.
1 / The Once and Future Flash (3×19)
In this episode, Barry decided to take charge and go in the future to learn more about Savitar. There, he found Cisco, Killer Frost and a version of himself completely defeated since the death of Iris. Very moving, “The Once and Future Flash” was mostly marked by an exceptional performance by Grant Gustin who played with himself for most of the episode. Moreover, it is always interesting to explore new eras and this time, Barry managed to give hope to his friends but especially to himself. A very well orchestrated episode! Black Lightning: A crossover with the Arrowverse?

Fans of superheroes are waiting for one thing: the new small straight out of the DC Comics, Black Lightning. And great news, it could well that it rejoins the Arrowverse!
It was during the Upfronts that the CW unveiled its fifth superhero show, following that of Arrow , The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl ! Black Lightning will make his big arrival on the US channel in 2018. Retired hero, Jefferson Pierce will have to make a decisive choice: to lead a normal life with his family or to assume his superhero costume with electromagnetic powers ! Until now the actors have remained discreet about the direction of the show. Mark Pedowitz, the director of the CW, said Black Lightning was not a part of the Arrowverse . Are you quite sure?
Hardly time to swallow our tears, that the tendency has reversed, for our greatest pleasure! Salim Akil, the show’s showrunner, announced that a crossover between Black Lightning and the Arrowverse was not impossible , far from it: “The narration is a little more political and dark,” said Akil but “this does not Does not mean that the Arrowverse trail will not be visited ” . That gives us hope, we were surprised that the CW decides to remove his fifth hero from the others! While the season 4 of The Flash will be broadcast as early as October on the CW, which missing characters will we miss the most?
This is the nostalgia moment! Yes, the meltynauts, a few weeks after the release of the Season Finale of the third season of The Flash, we have a hard time waiting until next October to discover the adventures of our favorite heroes. To wait, we wanted to come back on all the characters who have left us since the very beginning of the show . While Melty’s editor suggested that you find out which villain was the most successful in The Flash , between Eddie, Ronnie or Thawne, who is missing the most?
Eddie Thawne
The beautiful blue-eyed policeman left us at the end of the first season of the show. And the least we can say is that he died as a true hero and did not hesitate to kill himself in order to allow Barry to save the world from Reverse Flash. Gentle, kind, loyal and honest, Eddie was an endearing character and we lack her for her unfailing integrity. However, not sure that WestAllen fans would love to see him come back!
Ronnie Raymond
Ronnie was also a very interesting character and unfortunately we did not have time to discover. Quickly set aside to become Firestorm alongside Martin Stein, he disappeared by wanting to help Barry close the black hole that had opened above a town. Insured, intelligent and just married, the young man might have deserved better . If we’ve seen him on other Earths, we’d like to see him again soon.
Eobard Thawne
Certainly the most emblematic villain of the show, Eobard Thawne first took possession of the body of Wells and one will not lie: the interpretation of Tom Cavanagh was simply extraordinary. If he reappeared in Legends of Tomorrow, we’d love to see him again confronting his favorite enemy: The Flash. And it is known, everything is possible in the series and it could very well return soon.
HR Wells
Okay, he has not died for a long time but we miss him already. True ray of sunshine, HR was a nice Wells and who really wanted to make a place in the Team leaving to sacrifice his life to make up for his mistakes. We would like this injustice to be repaired quickly and to come back next season . In short, Tom Cavanagh is able to play all possible roles!
Henry Allen
Remember, at the end of Season 2, Zoom snatched the last member of his family to Barry. A terrible scene that had broken our hearts so much we wanted to see father and son spend time together. While the season 4 of The Flash will not be broadcast until October on the CW, here are 5 questions we ask about the sequel!

They are already missing! Yes, the meltynauts, it is only a few weeks that the series focused on the fastest man in the world has granted his summer break but we are already very nostalgic. It must be said that this third chapter ended on a real cliffhanger and that we are very intrigued by the possibilities left open for a fourth season which will unfortunately not be broadcast until next October. While Melty’s editor suggested finding out if Eddie would soon be back in Season 4 of The Flash , let’s get back together on the main issues we are facing following a spectacular Season Finale
1- Will Wally become the hero of the show?
This is the great theory that is currently circulating on networks. Indeed, in the comics, when Barry retires in the Speed Force, it leaves its place of The Flash to Wally which then defends Central City for about twenty years. Would it be possible for the series to decide to follow the same path by offering a good promotion to Keiynan Lonsdale? Everything is possible even if we have a hard time imagining the show without Grant Gustin.
2 – Will Killer Frost join the team?
At the end of the third season, Killer Frost is completely lost . Neither completely naughty nor completely nice, the young woman is likely to choose to return to the good side by joining the Team. Arrow Season 5: The Team in Danger, 5 Ways to Solve the End Cliffhanger!

While Arrow’s season 5 ended on a huge cliffhanger, discover five ways to start the next chapter of the show!
What have they become ? Yes, the meltynauts, since the release of the final season of the fifth season of the show CW flagship , fans are terribly worried. Can the producers have had the audacity to kill the entire Team? While melty’s editor suggested you discover why Arrow Season 6 was going to mark a real turning point in the series , here are 5 different ways to solve the famous end cliffhanger:
An in-extremis escape
This is the most popular theory among fans! Remember, Deathstroke was supposed to guide the Team to a boat so they could all escape . Since Slade has spent a lot of time on the island, it’s a safe bet he could have borrowed several shortcuts to lead our favorite characters to the boat before it was too late. Perhaps that would allow everyone to forgive him once and for all?
Shipwrecked
One can also imagine that our heroes could decide to use the carcass of the plane in order to shelter there. For that, they would have to use it as a floating raft which would offer us a very interesting storyline of shipwrecked. The links between the characters would then be tested and this could lead to crisp revelations. We hope that they will not stop killing each other!
ARGUS to the rescue
As we know, Diggle and Lyla have a habit of always protecting each other. It is therefore possible that John revealed his plans to his wife pushing Lyla to take his precautions. This would not be the first time that the organization would be a providential aid for the Team . And perhaps this rescue would finish reconciling the two lovers who have undergone sacred trials lately.
An Unexpected Savior
What if Evelyn suddenly decided to change camp? Yes, let us not forget that Prometheus did not hesitate a second to betray the girl while she had been a fidelity to any trial. She would then have been able to take care of the boat in order to start taking the path of redemption. This is a storyline that would be very interesting for the next season of the show.
Important sacrifices
The last possibility would be absolutely heartbreaking for all fans who respect themselves because it would mean that several important characters would leave us at the end of this fifth season . If some of them are mere collateral damage (Talia or Artemis), others would be victims who would be greatly missed. Lance or Mister Terrific could be sacrificed to save the others. Arrow Season 5: Season Finale, the 3 key moments to remember

The Season 5 Season Finale of Arrow was under high tension! Back on the three key moments of “Lian Yu”!
What a Season Final! After episode 23 of Arrow’s season 5, the future of Oliver’s team is very uncertain . Indeed, Chase had obviously planned everything. If the mayor of Star City did everything he could to kill his enemy while saving all his relatives, Prometheus did not intend to let him win. This episode titled “Lian Yu” was very intense and scary. While Team Arrow is in great danger, one of the series’ lead characters was killed before the great fight of Oliver and Chase began. Indeed, Malcolm sacrificed for Thea in the Season Finale of the Arrow 5 season . The father of Tommy and the young woman was not a good man but we never forget this beautiful gesture of love. Slade advises Oliver to forgive himself
It is always a pleasure to find Manu Bennett in the skin of Slade . In this Season Finale, he was no longer the terrifying Deathstroke but the friend Oliver had met 10 years earlier. Slade urged our hero to do the most difficult thing he could, forgive himself. “You suffer from the guilt of the survivor.” “You can not get past your father’s death.” “When it comes to you, everything has to do with your father.” , did he declare. “The only way to bury this ghost is to forgive you yourself, ” he told Oliver. Oliver refuses to kill Chase
Thanks to Slade and his friends, Oliver became a better man . Prometheus did everything he could to push his rival to the end so he killed him and at the same time sacrificed all his friends. The Arrow Season 5 Season Finals leave doubt about the future of Oliver’s Team. Check out our review of “Lian Yu”!
Last night, in episode 23 of Arrow’s Season 5, Oliver and Slade united against Prometheus . Did they defeat Chase? Was this Season Finale up to our expectations? Melty’s editorial reveals his criticism of this last episode of Arrow’s Season 5 . “Lian Yu” opens with Oliver and Slade. The latter seems to be himself again because the Miraku no longer works. Again, the flashbacks and the present are similar when Oliver runs through Lian Yu to save his son. Five years ago, he joined a fishing boat while today he finds himself on that of his rival. Oliver is sure his team can escape but Chase sabotaged the plane. Slade must then take them to the other side of the island to find the ARGUS. But when it was thought that the Green Arrow had won, Chase committed suicide and exploded everything leaving the fate of all those who were on the island very uncertain. Are they really dead? Summer is going to be very long! The Season Finals of the first two seasons are among the best episodes of the entire series, while those of Seasons 3 and 4 were somewhat disappointed. With “Lian Yu” , Arrow hits hard. The episode was, let’s not be afraid to say it, brilliant and probably the best of all! It has continued to improve until the end, with particularly perfectly choreographed and memorable combat scenes. This Season Finale looped looped. While the episode 21 of season 3 of The Flash was broadcast last night on the CW, let’s come back together on the main events that marked “Cause and Effect”!
Wait, whaaaat? And yes the meltynauts, as we approach the Season Finale and the Savitar mystery was finally solved last night on the American network, it is nevertheless difficult to understand with ease where the Big Bad of the season comes from. According to explanations at the beginning of the episode, the Barry of the future would be one of the vestiges of the past created by Barry that we met in episode 19 in order to stop Savitar. While the episode 15 of season 3 of The Flash has just been broadcast on the CW, let us return together on the main events that marked “The Wrath of Savitar”!
One will suffer a fate worse than death! And yes the meltynauts, after a noticeable absence since the mid-season final broadcast, Savitar made his big comeback in an episode as emotional as heartbreaking during which one of the Big Bad’s prophecies of the season came true. While Melty’s editor suggested that you discover our criticism of Season 3 episode 14 of The Flash , let’s go back to the main events that marked “The Wrath of Savitar” broadcast last night on the CW . And the least we can say is that our heroes certainly did not expect Savitar to return with such power. Yet the villain had already foreseen everything, Is served his connection with Wally to achieve his ends. The 100 Season 4: The final season script would have leaked and SPOILER dies!

First of all, pay attention to the spoilers! A script of the last episode of season 4 of The 100 would have leaked on the internet and you are told everything.
The season 4 of The 100 has just started – our review of episode 1 is still available on melty – the drama begins. While the episode 10 of season 3 of The Flash was broadcast last night on the CW, back on the main events that marked “Borrowing Problems From The Future”!
They were finally back! And yes meltynautes, after more than a month of absence and so much expectation, Team Flash finally made his comeback on the CW . Between emotion, detour by the future and cohesion stronger than ever, the Winter Premiere of the show was able to be convincing and surprising. After making us shudder at the beginning of last December by raising the possibility of seeing Iris die tragically, The Flash wanted to be audacious and offered us last night a taste of what awaits us in this second part of the season . While the editorial ‘of melty announced that Darren Criss (Glee) joined the musical crossover that will bring The Flash and Supergirl , back on the main events that marked “Borrowing Problems From The Future” . And the least we can say is that our hero has many difficulties to resume his daily life while knowing that a sword of Damocles weighs on the fate of the woman of his life. Tormented, surly and depressed, Barry does not know what to do to prevent such a calamity from occurring . Ready to do anything, he even made a deliberate attempt to let Plunder, a violent robber, escape for fear of accelerating the death of Iris since the arrest of the thief made the front page of the newspaper he had discovered in Traveling in the future. For his part, HR Wells finally saw his STAR Labs project come to fruition and if no one truly believed in him, he still managed the feat of putting his project into action. Unfortunately, this is far from being a success and after several criticisms, Cisco finally launched and offered its support. HR is an asset for the show as its good humor slice considerably with the heavy atmosphere that reigns for some time in the episodes. But his safety will be threatened next week by Gypsy who plans to bring him back to Earth-19. In short, the Winter Premiere was rich in revelations and offered us the opportunity to discover more about Barry’s vision. Very well developed plot that promises to take us a good part of the season and so much better . Indeed, this storyline contains far more stakes than the previous much less captivating.
