A few hours after the release of season 5 of Orange is the New Black on Netflix, we give you our first feedback, but watch out for the spoilers!
The season 5 of Orange is the New Black finally sounded on Netflix and if you are like us, you may have already donned a few episodes to start the weekend. We offer you a quick verdict of the first episodes but watch out for spoilers in the sequel. As expected, Season 5 takes place over a very limited period of time: 3 days starting from Daya pointing a gun at the guard Humphrey who had the bad idea to bring one to the prison . Obviously things degenerate quickly and it does not take long to Daya to shoot at him. Not a mortal shot, but rather violent to put it in a pitiful state that will only get worse, thank Maureen .
The feeling of unease comes a little later, when the prisoners organized and took the guards hostage. Fear The Walking Dead Season 3: Episodes 1 and 2, Madison, Travis and the others in military hell, our critic

After months of waiting there it is, season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead began with a first double murderer season. Watch out for spoilers.
The zombies are back, and the least we can say is that this start of the season is a success. It was announced to you a few hours ago, Fear The Walking Dead season 3 killed one of his main characters and made his first double season an event. But before returning to the death of Travis, a small return on the two episodes aired last night on AMC, “Eye of the Beholder” and “The New Frontier”. The series plunges us back into the universe of The Walking Dead with the capture of Madison, Travis and Alicia by the armed militia and it does not take long to Travis to find Nick and Luciana . Madison and Alicia are welcomed in a slightly more polite way and it is soon realized that the soldiers, led by Troy Otto, Are mainly a beautiful band of racists that separates people according to their skin color and their origins. Add to that their presence at the border and their willingness to stop people who want to enter the American territory and get a good representation of the world according to Donald Trump.
To top it off, the military volunteers take themselves for scientists and execute the wounded they find to calculate their transformation time according to their morphology. All this in the name of science of course … Fortunately Travis, Nick and Luciana manage to escape thanks to one of the many very nice action scenes that punctuate the episode . Despite this, however, despite Madison’s skill with a spoon, the whole group ended up in a dirty situation – a walkers’ pit, infected sewers or capture by the military – before being reunited with the sympathetic Jake Otto. A touching and surprising scene that proves that writers are ready to put the package this season. Obviously Alicia has very little time to react since she finds herself abandoned with a wounded Luciana, Jake, And his wife who dies in her turn during the night. The trio eventually joined Madison and Nick at the shelter of the Otto family, Luciana still between life and death. The Clark family is full but in mourning and Madison quickly decides to settle in the shelter if it is necessary to take matters in hand if things degenerate, an attitude that is not unlike that of a certain Rick Grimes …
Finally on the side of Strand and in spite of his plan to pass for a doctor, the exile also arrives since he gets put out by the community of the hotel. Fortunately the mother of the bride, Ilene, has a last gift for him that greatly increases his chances of survival: a sports car. Fear The Walking Dead has delivered two action-packed episodes that cleverly combine human danger and zombie danger to offer us a lot of little frights. Taking risks, the series ranks one step above its previous two seasons and gives us anxious to see what happens next . We found a Nick always a little selfish and strong head against his mother who tries to calm the game and keep them alive. Alicia and Madison proved their ability to survive and Travis, before dying, showed exemplary heroism by sacrificing himself several times to save his family. An in-extremis escape

Reign Season 4: Episode 14, a new tragic death, our critic

Check out our review of Episode 14 of Season 4 of Reign, which aired last night on the American channel The CW.
It is still a dirty episode for our favorite queens … As we get closer to the final series of Reign , nothing makes life easier for Mary or Elizabeth and it is with surprise that we Discovers that it is Narcissus who causes them all this pain. In Scotland, episode 14 begins while Mary takes back her castle with the help of her allies and has executed one of the people responsible for the rebellion and death of Rizzio. Unfortunately for her, the two most important traitors are also those who are untouchable: John Knox and Darnley . The latter poses difficulties to Mary since the beginning and the queen of Scotland no longer knows whether he is an enemy or an ally. Jo does not enjoy a very high sympathy capital and his story with Alex does not really advance since several episodes. A few weeks after the end of season 7 of The Walking Dead, a small return on the best and worst characters of the season.
The 7 of The Walking Dead season may well be over – you were told that of Negan or Rick had had more screentime in the first episodes – but that does not prevent us to continue to talk until season 8. Today We look at the best and worst characters of the season based on their actions but also on their evolutions over the episodes . Do not hesitate to tell us what, according to you, are the characters who have shined the most by their courage, their kindness or on the contrary their cruelty.
Maggie Rhee, formerly Greene. The season opened with the death of Glenn Rhee, her husband, but also the only member of her family who is still alive if her baby is not counted, a traumatic and decisive event. Yet rather than moping, dropping her arms or even running into the pile headed down to avenge Glenn’s death, Maggie got up and repeatedly showed her determination to create a better world. Through her actions and words, Maggie continued to pay tribute to Glenn’s memory by fighting to make the apocalyptic world in which she lives a better world for her child .
Discreet but always present, Jesus is faithful to the message borne by his first name since his appearance and has several times revealed himself as the savior of Rick and his group. Introducing the Alexandrians to the Hill and then to the Kingdom, Jesus allowed them all to find allies against Negan, but also to benefit from the commercial help possible between different communities. Daryl’s torturer demonstrated amazing empathy, but proved that he did everything he did out of love and out of fear for Sheryl, because once he had escaped, he hurried to join the camp. Rick . We also learned a lot about his past and we also saw the grip of Negan on him. Difficult therefore not to feel a minimum of sympathy towards him, especially after his attack on the first confrontation between Rick and Negan.
Tied with Spencer Monroe, Gregory wins the winner of one of the worst characters of season 7 of The Walking Dead by combining the winning cocktail: treachery and cowardice. As brave as a mouse in front of a cat, Gregory folded at the whim of the Saviors and was ready to go so far as to deliver his refugees to buy Simon’s favors. In other words, his character did not seduce us and he tended to hit us on the nerves at each of his appearances.
Finally the palm of the worst personage obviously returns to Negan. Despite an astonishing charisma and a sharp sense of humor, Negan remains the one who killed Glenn and Abraham at the opening of the season and completely broke Rick. Scary until the final season, Negan is the character who scares especially when he laughs, who does not shrink from anything to show his ascendancy over his enemies and that makes his cruelty pass for a twisted sense of justice . In short, an iconic villain lived up to his reputation in the comics which gives us already looking forward to seeing his horrors in the sequel.

What a Season Final! After episode 23 of Arrow’s season 5, the future of Oliver’s team is very uncertain . Indeed, Chase had obviously planned everything. The Arrow Season 5 Season Finals leave doubt about the future of Oliver’s Team. Check out our review of “Lian Yu”!
Last night, in episode 23 of Arrow’s Season 5, Oliver and Slade united against Prometheus . Did they defeat Chase? Was this Season Finale up to our expectations? Melty’s editorial reveals his criticism of this last episode of Arrow’s Season 5 . “Lian Yu” opens with Oliver and Slade. The latter seems to be himself again because the Miraku no longer works. He regrets his actions and seems ready to help Oliver who offers to lend a helping hand to him to find his son. Slade then finds the mask of Deathstroke. “You and me kid, like before,” he announces. Oliver will have to try to unite his new team better and it is not won. However, he quickly manages to find Thea, Felicity and Samantha as Captain Boomerang turns against him when Evelyn and Talia appear . Fortunately, Slade chooses Oliver’s camp and Nyssa arrives at the right time to make her sister doubt. In a flashback, Kovar discovers the empty cell of Oliver while the latter is still captured a few minutes later or almost! The hero manages to kill the 6 men of Kovar by himself. If Felicity and Thea have difficulty understanding Slade’s presence, Green Arrow asks Malcolm, Curtis and Thea to take Felicity and Samantha to Chase’s plane for shelter. While Oliver plans to help Evelyn despite his treason, Felicity embraces Oliver just before leaving. Olicity is on the right voice in Arrow 5 season ! For their part, Dinah, Diggle, Rene and Quentin are locked up by Black Siren. Even the cry of Black Canary can not save them because his gift is blocked thanks to a technology. Chase really has it all!
Slade makes the voice of wisdom by admitting to Oliver that he is suffering from the survivor’s syndrome and that he must forgive himself for Robert’s suicide and all that followed . While Curtis and Felicity understand that the island is covered with explosives, Oliver and the rest of his team manage to free themselves with a Curtis technology that makes his cry to Dinah. Nyssa and Talia fight an epic battle and Slaaaade comes to help Oliver’s “wife”! Yes, he’s still on the side of the Green Arrow, his punch was just a diversion. It is finally the hour of the great fight between Chase and Oliver in this Season Finale of the season 5 of Arrow . In a flashback, our hero is about to kill Kovar but ends up with a weapon unloaded. The battle between the two men finds a striking parallel with the current battle. Special mention to Quentin who does not fail to knock the Laurel d ‘ Earth 2. In the past, Oliver does not hesitate to break the neck of Kovar while in the present, he finds himself in exactly the same situation with Chase. The Green Arrow struggles not to kill him although his rival encourages him to show who he really is. “No, that’s what I was before,” he says. Again, the flashbacks and the present are similar when Oliver runs through Lian Yu to save his son. Five years ago, he joined a fishing boat while today he finds himself on that of his rival. Oliver is sure his team can escape but Chase sabotaged the plane. Slade must then take them to the other side of the island to find the ARGUS. Chase retains William and Oliver must choose between his son or all the others . He then shoots on Chase without killing him and a new flashback takes us back 5 years earlier, when Oliver announced by phone to Moira that he was alive. This is a really touching scene. But when it was thought that the Green Arrow had won, Chase committed suicide and exploded everything leaving the fate of all those who were on the island very uncertain. Are they really dead? Summer is going to be very long! The Season Finals of the first two seasons are among the best episodes of the entire series, while those of Seasons 3 and 4 were somewhat disappointed. With “Lian Yu” , Arrow hits hard. The episode was, let’s not be afraid to say it, brilliant and probably the best of all! It has continued to improve until the end, with particularly perfectly choreographed and memorable combat scenes. This Season Finale looped looped. If the conclusion is dramatic and the expectation of season 6 is agonizing, it is a real pleasure to find Manu Bennett in the role of Slade. His fraternal relationship with Oliver, very complex since the death of Shado, Was one of the greatest strengths of this episode. This is a 10/10 for “Lian Yu” . Highly season 6 of Arrow ! Reign Season 4: Episode 13, Death, Engagement and Escape, Our Critic

Check out our review of Episode 13 of Season 4 of Reign which aired last night on the American channel The CW. Warning, spoilers!
As expected, there is definitely a death in episode 13 of Reign’s Season 4 , and it will not be without consequences. “Coup de Grace” begins while Mary suspects Darnley and the Privy Council of plotting against her. Fortunately, his two most loyal allies, Bothwell and Rizzio, watched and they discovered that the Scottish Lords and the King were doing everything to oust Mary from the throne and that Darnley obtained the matrimonial crown. In order to turn the situation to its advantage, Mary decides to announce her pregnancy publicly. However, this is not enough to silence the anger of John Knox and Darnley even succeeded in convincing him that his wife surely has an extramarital relationship with Bothwell . They then decide to try to surprise the queen in the act of infidelity so that she is then forced to abdicate. But instead of finding Mary in Bothwell’s arms, Darnley and the Privy Council members found her simply playing cards with Rizzio.
As in history, Rizzio is going to serve as scapegoat and they murder her savagely before the bewildered eyes of Mary . Nicole eventually finds out the truth about Narcissus in the worst possible way and the episode ends with Henri’s malicious smile that does not suggest any good for Charles. The Originals Season 4: Episode 9, The Sacrifice of SPOILER, Our Critic

Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast episode 9 of season 4 of The Originals. Then discover our review of “Queen Death”, pay attention to the spoilers!
Are we really losing another member of the Original Family? Indeed, episode 9 of season 4 of The Originals ended with the sacrifice of Elijah which allowed the rebirth of the Hollow . It must be admitted that “Queen Death” is a rather confusing episode in which there is a lot of things happening without always understanding the ins and outs. Moreover, the fact that the characters change several times of plan of attack does not help in anything and everything that turns around the Hollow remains still vague. The episode begins while Elijah is dying at low fire, poisoned by Marcel’s venom. Sofya, still possessed by the Hollow, promises to return Elijah if her family gives her the last missing bone for her rebirth.
All the characters are then on the war foot. Vincent wants at all costs to prevent the Hollow from returning, even to sacrifice Elijah for the good of all. Marcel wants to save Sofya. And, of course, Hayley and the Mikaelson want to save Elijah. Negotiations are not easy, especially because we still feel resentment in Vincent’s words, after all, the Mikaelson had not hesitated to sacrifice Davina. After much reflection, they still manage to find a plan to try to save everyone, but this will involve Klaus’ sacrifice. The latter is ready to put his life in danger to protect his daughter and Freya must recover his soul to put it in the pendant that had been occupied once by the soul of Finn.
Vincent can not complete the ritual of Klaus’ sacrifice and the Hollow is too powerful to allow Freya and Hayley to save Elijah. As we witness the death of the latter, we can see the blue light of the Hollow becoming more and more intense, feeding on the strength of the Mikaelson. Their rescue operation did fail and it is unclear whether their last-minute idea of putting Elijah in the pendant worked. Last night, the American channel ABC aired episode 18 of season 4 of Agents of SHIELD. Then discover our review of “No Regrets”, attention spoilers!
Agents of SHIELD continues to make us vibrate every week by definitely offering us the best chapter of this season. The ABC series uses this alternative world to play with its mythology, to bring back familiar faces and especially to explore how the regrets of our characters have made them as they are today – in reality and not in the framework . If some have become real bad guys in the framework, as we saw in episode 17 of season 4 of Agents of SHIELD . Others are the best version of themselves, like Jeffrey Mace or Grant Ward. It is very interesting to see how the intrigues show us the influence that the words of others can have on our choices and how a small thing can change everything. Moreover, the episode shows us all this without being bored for a second, since the action never stops.
The character who seems most affected by all this is of course Fitz, especially because of his special relationship with AIDA – already in reality . Iain De Caestecker, who makes a great villain, is once again grateful for his work . Hydra’s priority in this episode is to get rid of The Patriot aka Jeffrey Mace, who is the leader of the resistance. His biggest regret at being certainly not being able to live up to a new Captain America, he appears here as a true hero, Who even goes so far as to sacrifice his life to save the innocent. Yes, if their mission of infiltration within Hydra allows the return of an old character – Antoine Triplett! – it unfortunately marks the death of Jeffrey who sacrifices himself to save the others.
If this death affects us much less than that of Trip at the end of season 2, it has the merit of “waking up” Melinda May. We were all very surprised to discover a May so ruthless and hateful in the framework, but the events that take place in this “indoctrination” building and the death of Mace will finally make him open his eyes. Indeed, the episode ends with May which allows Daisy to make her transformation and she will therefore recover her powers .
