It is partly to this question – one imagines – that will endeavor to answer his suite, Blade Runner 2049 , directed by the director Denis Villeneuve. But to bring new blood, it is the investigation of a brand new character that we will follow. K, is the name of the main hero of the film, interpreted by Ryan Gosling, who is still particularly mysterious. We do not know much about him, except that he is a Blade Runner as Deckard was before him and that he is looking for him. For in one of his investigations, he would have found elements that brought him directly back to his predecessor. And other than that, well, that is just about everything ! Indeed, his very name is part of the mystery that surrounds him, the character of Ryan Gosling almost having no air of having an identity of his own. And it’s clearly not the latest intriguing trailer of Blade Runner 2049 that has taught us more about him, quite the opposite! In fact, this new trailer has only raised a little more question about this hero in the guise of detective of black film but evolving in a futuristic world. So suddenly, the editing of melty asks the question: who is really K ? And it’s clearly not the latest intriguing trailer of Blade Runner 2049 that has taught us more about him, quite the opposite! In fact, this new trailer has only raised a little more question about this hero in the guise of detective of black film but evolving in a futuristic world. So suddenly, the editing of melty asks the question: who is really K ? And it’s clearly not the latest intriguing trailer of Blade Runner 2049 that has taught us more about him, quite the opposite! In fact, this new trailer has only raised a little more question about this hero in the guise of detective of black film but evolving in a futuristic world. So suddenly, the editing of melty asks the question: who is really K ?
The trailer of Blade Runner 2049 is indeed very miserly in information and clues. But some of his scenes and some of his aftershocks obviously let us think that K is not a cop of the future like the others. First there is this confrontation between Rick Deckard and himself, in which he tells his elder to have questions to ask him. And it must be believed that he was involved in something dangerous since it is clearly sought, Deckard specifying that “they are there ” … before everything explodes. Who are these ” they “? The antagonists of the film, more than likely. But it remains to be seen why they hunt K, which apparently appears to interest Wallace a lot, The Replicant maker played by Jared Leto (the villain himself?). However, what most intrigues us is of course this conversation that takes place at the end of the trailer between K and Joi , the young woman incarnated by Ana de Armas, who tells her: ” I tell you You are exceptional . ” His comments have also resulted to arouse a rather peculiar term – but indecipherable – on the face of K, before she continues by saying, ” Your story is not over remains a page. .” . But then, how is K special? It is of course this conversation that takes place at the end of the trailer between K and Joi , the young woman incarnated by Ana de Armas, who declares to him: ” I told you always, you are exceptional . His comments have also resulted to arouse a rather peculiar term – but indecipherable – on the face of K, before she continues by saying, ” Your story is not over remains a page. .” . But then, how is K special? It is of course this conversation that takes place at the end of the trailer between K and Joi , the young woman incarnated by Ana de Armas, who declares to him: ” I told you always, you are exceptional . His comments have also resulted to arouse a rather peculiar term – but indecipherable – on the face of K, before she continues by saying, ” Your story is not over remains a page. .” . His comments have also resulted to arouse a rather peculiar term – but indecipherable – on the face of K, before she continues by saying, ” Your story is not over remains a page. .” . His comments have also resulted to arouse a rather peculiar term – but indecipherable – on the face of K, before she continues by saying, ” Your story is not over remains a page. .” . But then, how is K special?
And there, one necessarily thinks that there is a good chance that, just as one always suspected for Deckard, K is in fact … a Replicant . But not a Replicant like the others, no more than a Replicant like Rick Deckard could be! Already because it would replay on the schemes of the first film, which would not frankly interest. Then because it is simply a new character who must therefore have its own origins and motivations. So, yes, K might not be a human and rather be part of the androids, while representing a whole new form of Replicant. Especially since we are not too sure of the identity of the person who crosses the wall behind Deckard as he runs ahead – and so could be K.
But in fact, this is not the only possible hypothesis. For Robin Wright’s words about wall and warfare between species could also be another clue to the nature of K. And if this was the key precisely to break down the barriers between human beings and The Replicants? So what, K could be half human, half replicating, thus combining the characteristics of the two groups? If it seems like a hair – pull, it would also explain why the character of Ryan Gosling is so special … It is of course only speculation and it will be necessary to wait for many months before having the last word of the ” History! What is certain is that for now we do not know much about this famous Blade Runner 2049 .
The post Blade Runner 2049: Who is K (Ryan Gosling)? first appeared on The Siver Times.

But if a first trailer and some photos were unveiled, it is clear that they do everything to hide the plot of the film and we do not know much about Blade Runner 2049 in the end . It is only if we know that Ryan Gosling will incarnate a certain officer K. Planned for October 4, 2017, one even comes to wonder if they will give us other clues before, or leave us in complete darkness Until the film’s release in theaters. In short, we are clearly frustrated. But we also decided not to let ourselves be defeated and if we can not learn more about Blade Runner 2049 , why not enrich his culture on the original film? This is what Melty’s editorial offers you by discovering 5 things that you probably do not know about Ridley Scott’s film!
1) Harrison Ford was not the first choice for Rick Deckard
At the very beginning of the project, Ridley Scott had planned the role of Rick Deckard for Dustin Hoffman . The actor even worked several months on the project, before leaving the ship following discrepancies on the character’s psychology and “a story of sub” . Eventually, Harrison Ford will inherit the role, and it is now difficult to imagine the replicant “hunter” as someone else.
2) Blade Runner almost had a completely different title
Before calling himself Blade Runner , the film went through several different names. At the very beginning, in particular, it was codenamed “Mechanismo and Dangerous Days” . Not really fun, you get it. Then Ridley Scott found the world of Batman sticking to the atmosphere of the movie, so he had a long time for the film to be called “Gotham City . ” Yes, you heard right. Unfortunately, Bob Kane, the creator of Batman, did not want to give him the rights and the director finally decided to opt for “Blade Runner” , in tribute to a novel by Alan E. Nourse.
3) The original atmosphere had nothing to do with that of the film at its release
Taken from a book by Philip K. Dick entitled “Androids Dream of Electric Sheep , ” the plot was originally scheduled to take place in 1992 in a Los Angeles plunged into a glacial age. But on a small budget, the film team could not carry the scenery to the north of the US and had to slightly change the atmosphere, from snowy landscapes to an underground, polluted, dirty and retro-futuristic Los Angeles.
4) The Star Wars Cameo that you surely missed
In the scene where Rick Deckard is carried aboard his Spinner at the Central Police, a familiar vessel is seen in the background. Normal, it is actually the Millennium Falcon , the Han Solo ship in the Star Wars saga ! An Easter Egg rather amusing when we know that Rick Deckard and Han Solo are both embodied by Harrison Ford. Perhaps it will be found in Blade Runner 2049, whose new photos were unveiled?
5) What does the first scene of the film mean?
It is on a close-up of a frozen eye in which the reflection of a flame crackles that opens Blade Runner. But what does that mean? Asked about the question, Ridley Scott explained that this eye was none other than an “Orwellian metaphor of Big Brother” , or how our society is moving towards a totalitarian state, controlled by an oligarchy of brands. A little fucked by the hair, is not it? So, did you know all that?
The post Blade Runner 2049: 5 things you did not know about the original movie first appeared on The Siver Times.

Fortunately, fans can wait for information about the 1982 cult film directed by Ridley Scott and here by Denis Villeneuve. To begin with, the latter decided to focus on artisanal special effects . In an interview for Variety , the man said: “It’s great for me, I can tell you that I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of green bottoms used during these shorter shoots !”
Blade runner 2049, ryan gosling, harrison ford, denis villeneuve, blade runner, news, rumors, sf, science fiction
What is known about Blade Runner 2049?
Denis Villeneuve also added “Of course, there will be CGIs, but we have tried to limit them. I am someone old enough, I wanted to do my aliens in animatronics .” Blade Runner 2049, of which Dave Bautista has teased a very cool role , thus risks to propose a very interesting visual universe. With Denis Villeneuve at the helm, the film can only be good. But then what will this long-awaited sequel tell ? On this side, the filmmaker is rather discreet but explains that “the first film had a polar side, very black, very melancholic, the themes evoked were those of the existential crisis .. Blade Runner 2049 is not far from these subjects , We tried to keep the same atmosphere … ”
The characters of Blade Runner 2049, which revealed 9 unpublished photos , are also likely to be numerous. To the delight of the fans of the first opus, Harrison Ford will resume its cult role which helped to make it known all over the world (with Indiana Jones and Star Wars ). Ryan Gosling, who currently plays in LaLaLand , will hold the top spot, confirming that he is one of the best actors of our generation. Lennie James, known for his role in The Walking Dead, has nothing to say about his character and teased a filming more secret than that of the series ! Only Bautista was generous “It’s a very cool role, But I think the film itself is going to be huge, a bit like The Guardians (…). This is not the same excitement because people waited 30 years for the sequel to Blade Runner, the anticipation is very great . ” Finally, it could be that one of the 4 replicants of the original film is present. .
The post Blade Runner 2049: Intrigue, universe, characters … all that we know about the film first appeared on The Siver Times.

Denis Villeneuve, director of Blade Runner 2049, announced it to Variety: this project is the most risky of his life! But why?
By realizing Blade Runner 2049 , Denis Villeneuve has an enormous pressure on the shoulders. The director must go right behind Ridley Scott and his cult film of 1982: in short, a dose of stress rather monstrous for the one that has already proved itself . The filmmaker is rather clear on this point since in interview for Variety, the latter announced that it was “the most risky project of my life!” . Just that. So to be sure not to miss, the director of Blade Runner 2049, in which another character from the original film will be cast , surrounded himself with the best: “I decided to take Deakins because he was the best candidate With his 13 Oscar nominations! “.
For Blaise Runner 2049 , Denis Villeneuve is more than a sci-fi film. “I was really excited to work with Deakins who never did science fiction before because we have a very Intimist of the genre ” . Difficult to make more clear: this suite will not be like its predecessor ! The filmmaker will have to conquer new audiences as fans of the first opus released decades ago with Harrison Ford who will resume his role. Between Alien Covenant, Star Wars 8 and Blade Runner 2049, the year 2017 will be oriented towards science fiction ! To discover the most risky project of the life of the director, it will be necessary to wait until October 4th. What do you think of this project?
The post Blade Runner 2049: Denis Villeneuve “This is the most risky project of my life!” first appeared on The Siver Times.

One of the highlights of the film was his visual identity that the filmmaker attempted To respect as he confided in an interview for Variety “For Blade Runner 2049, we did everything to turn inside, to build everything.” The director of photography Roger Deakins was incredible when he “I was able to count on the fingers of one hand the number of green bottoms used during these lesser shoots!”
The director then added “Of course, there will be CGIs, but we tried to limit them, I’m someone old enough, I wanted to make my aliens in animatronics, it was my dream with Premier Contact And my director of photography, in which we dreamed of putting enormous gigantic beasts in aquariums and moved by puppeteers, but unfortunately it was too expensive . This should reassure future audiences: in Blade Runner 2049, in which a character from the original film could be cast , Denis Villeneuve will put a maximum on special effects “by hand” with a minimum of green funds and digital additions. What do you think ?
The post Blade Runner 2049: Denis Villeneuve details the creative process of the film first appeared on The Siver Times.

But while the latter deals with the realization of Alien Covenant, of which 10 minutes were unveiled very gory , what about of Blade Runner in 2049 ? After all, the man could have taken care himself of the continuation of his cult film released several decades ago. Yet it will be Denis Villeneuve who will have the difficult task of staging this future production starring Harrison Ford (in his original role) and Ryan Gosling. The main argument is obviously his First Contact , one of science fiction that marked the end of 2016 many spectators.
With this foray into the world of science fiction, Denis Villeneuve has rapidly proven and convinced Ridley Scott to entrust the reins of his film . Not to mention that the director has other successes to his credit as Prisoners, Sicario, Fire … The man’s success is such that the studios have decided to entrust the adaptation of Dune, another monument of the science- Fiction written by Frank Herbert (and already transposed to the cinema by David Lynch). In short, with all these good elements, Denis Villeneuve seems to be the ideal choice to achieve Blade Runner 2049 with Dave Bautista tease a very cool role . Rendez-vous next October for the verdict. What do you think ?
The post Blade Runner 2049: Why does Denis Villeneuve realize this sequel? first appeared on The Siver Times.
