It should be said that these are some success as demonstrated by the Huawei Watch 2 voted best connected object of MWC 2017 ! The IDC analyst office has unveiled its latest figures that point out that yes, Apple Watch is still one of the leaders of connected watches and ranks number 3 in the market. In front of him is the Chinese Xiaomi, firm that rises, while Fitbit takes the first place. These figures are obviously not based on the total sales of connected watches but only the last quarter of 2016.
In spite of its position of number 1, Fitbit still shows a drop of 22,7% while Xiaomi grew by 96,2%! Regardless of the fields, Chinese seems to impose itself more and more to the point of giving cold sweats to the leaders of the market. Of course, the apple has more than one trick in its bag and now targets sportsmen in its new advertisement for the Apple Watch . Not to mention that with its technicians and developers, Apple is constantly working on new features to accompany users (like the famous Pokemon Go application now available on all wrists). So come back in a quarter for the new numbers. What do you think of these figures?
The post Apple Watch: Third most popular connected watch first appeared on The Siver Times.

The fault of smartphones with screens always bigger, always more powerful and full of features! Yet Tim Cook decided not to abandon the famous iPad which despite a decline in sales remains number one . The big boss of Apple has decided to bet all on the latter by proposing very heavy in the months (and years?) To come at its financial conference of Q1 2017. Tim Cook used the opportunity to declare “We have Interesting things to come for the tablet and I’m optimistic about the direction of things . ” Apple fans will be reassured by this statement!
Rumors are already evoking a new tablet coming up for the next quarter. Apple would take advantage of it for a full face refacing of the iPad, which can turn into Nintendo Switch , with a larger screen and an even more powerful processor. The whole would be accompanied by a camera with impressive capacity (even if taking pictures with is not necessarily very practical). And if Apple finally decided to put an end to the range of iPad tablets in the face of insufficient sales? This possibility is obviously not to be excluded but it would be a pity that a product so well thought out can not find its audience! What do you think of Tim Cook’s promise?
The post IPad: Tim Cook “We have some interesting things to come for the tablet” first appeared on The Siver Times.

And yet, everything was not won since many Internet users had pointed finger a lack of innovations, a design substantially identical to its predecessor and abandoning the jack. Despite everything, the smartphone sold very well allowing to propel the figures of Apple up. It’s simple: the American had not surpassed South Korean Samsung for two years on the podium of the largest sellers of phones. The iPhone 7, whose new ad has praised the “bokeh” effect , has indeed achieved its goal of preparing the public for the iPhone 8 and arousing new interest in the brand.
According to the specialized institute Gartner, three brands share the podium: Apple , Samsung and Huawei. The American brand, despite its return to an increasingly competitive market, will have to pay close attention to Chinese, which is only nibbling on the ground. Let’s hope that the iPhone 8, which will carry a 5.8-inch screen into a 4.7-inch smartphone , follow the same path as its predecessor while bringing major improvements. In the fourth quarter, Apple will have sold 77 million iPhone 7 devices to place itself at the top of sales. The chances that this success is linked to the failure of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 are rather strong and the firm will not only have to consider that to continue its way. What do you think of these figures?
The post IPhone 7: The smartphone propels Apple in the fourth quarter first appeared on The Siver Times.

Yet, only one model makes resistance: the Apple iPad. Strategy Analytics and IDC, two leading analyst firms, have just released new figures on tablet sales . And the least we can say is that it is not famous! To begin with, according to IDC, the number of tablets sold – all brands combined – decreased by 20.1%. The iPad, with three new tablets expected to see the light in 2017 , nevertheless shows a decline of 19% compared to the first quarter of 2015 despite its leading position.
Despite this rather significant decrease, the iPad remains number one of sales against its competitors . Samsung has for example lost ground with -20.5% between 2015 and today. Even in the tablet market, the two giants remain formidable competitors! Lenovo (which introduced its Yoga A12, an ultrabook convertible tablet) will have sold 3.7 million tablets and Huawei 3.2 million. Two figures rather encouraging for these two firms. You will understand: the American remains in good position, the South Korean follows just behind while the two Chinese are rather good. It remains to be seen whether the tablets will reconquer buyers. What do you think of these figures?
The post IPad: Despite a drop in sales, it remains number 1 first appeared on The Siver Times.
