From pure emotion! And yes the meltynauts, one of the great specialties of the show with sharp fangs, was to move and touch us deeply to the point that sometimes it was very complicated to hold back our tears. It must be said that no one was immune to Mystic Falls and that many of our characters have suffered . But there were also those moments that we had been waiting for months or even years, and which really upset us when we finally had what we wanted most. The death of Jenna
Remember, Aunt Jenna’s death following Klaus’ sacrifice is still one of the toughest moments of the series, and especially because it was the first significant death of the series. It’s hard to get over it! And yes the meltynauts, even if the series ended a few weeks ago, its absence weighs heavily on our morale. After eight years of good and loyal service, it was difficult not to notice that the show had a central place on the American network. While Melty wrote you to discover our top 10 episodes of The Vampire Diaries , here are 12 things you do not know about the series that enchanted us for several years on the CW .
1 – Kevin Williamson, who was behind the success of Dawson’s Creek, was determined to offer a role to James Van Der Beek, who played the main role of the series. Indeed, the actor nearly played the role of Alaric before it was finally given to Matt Davis.

Even though the Series Finale was epic, we can not contain our disappointment that we had to say goodbye to a show that will have deeply marked us over the years. And as we understand your suffering, we decided to offer you a top 10 of the best episodes of The Vampire Diaries. Are you ready ? Let’s go !
10 – Episode 11, Season 5 – 500 Years of Solitude
Let’s start with the 100th episode of the series. A real success so much he had been able to combine action and twists. First, how to forget that it was this episode that saw Caroline and Klaus give their first kiss (and more, if affinities)? But this is also the time when our favorite Katherine Pierce will join the Hells not without allowing the heroes of Mystic Falls to remember all that she has made them undergo!

6 – Episode 23, Season 4 – Graduation
This final season was a real concentration of pure emotions. Between Elena’s declaration of love and Damon, Klaus’s desire to be Caroline’s last love and the graduation of our heroes, everything was orchestrated to make us melt in tears … except may – to be the revelation of the identity of Silas! The first significant death, she made Elena a stronger and much less vulnerable character . We will also remember the two brothers Salvatore more than ever determined to protect the daughter of their dreams after events that would change it forever.

While The Vampire Diaries just bows out, we are still in mourning as we were addicted to the adventures of the heroes of Mystic Falls. And to celebrate an addictive series, here are 15 things we will miss!
It’s now over! And yes the meltynauts, after long hoping that all this could be a mere nightmare, we must now go to the obvious: The Vampire Diaries, it’s finished for good . Despite everything, the most iconic show of the CW will continue to live in our hearts and also on Netflix if the urge takes you to make you an incredible marathon. While we are trying to turn the page, the editor of melty wanted to take stock of everything we were going to miss. Because although the series was probably not the most brilliant in the world, it offered us absolutely fantastic moments and it’s time to pay her the tribute she deserves!
15 – The cliffhangers
What would the series with sharp fangs without its multiple twists? We’ll admit that The Vampire Diaries has managed to impress us on many occasions. This season 8 of The Vampire Diaries promises to end in apotheosis and was particularly moving. Back on the 3 most memorable moments!
It’s D-Day! The Final Series of The Vampire Diaries will be broadcast tonight on The CW . We prefer to warn you, “I Was Feeling Epic” is likely to be upsetting. Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Zach Roerig teased the last episode of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries . The actors shed a few tears while reading the script and were very moved when shooting their last scenes. This episode which will see return several key figures of the series such as Katherine, Elena or even Jeremy promises us many adventures and many surprises. Expect to be completely shocked! Julie Plec will not spare our poor little hearts.
The death of Tyler
We did not believe it and yet, Damon did! Like Enzo, the eldest of the Salvatore was under the influence of the terrible siren, Sybil. The Vampire Diaries Season 8: Stefan, what will happen to him?

Stefan Salvatore has come up with a lot in the last episodes of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. How will his character evolve after these turnarounds? Warning, this article contains spoilers.
Since Stefan made a pact with the devil – literally – his life took a very bad turn. First, he failed to control his insatiable appetite for human blood, making him a Ripper again. Then, he totally questioned his relationship with Caroline, which disarranged her even strong. Then he wanted to take Elena out of Damon’s life and what better way to get her way than to try to kill her? Finally, he killed Enzo St. John just before Bonnie, with the latter retaliating by injecting him the blood of Elena supposed to contain the remedy against vampirism . So we left it like that, without really knowing whether the injection worked or not. In fact, the first question is: Will Stefan be human in episode 12 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , which will air tomorrow night on the American channel The CW ?
If you believe the video promo of “What Are You?” In any case, everything leaves to pass that Stefan Salvatore is no longer a vampire . Indeed, we can see him sharing a scene with Caroline and the tone he uses shows very clearly that his emotions are back and that he is no longer the Ripper. Is Damon again on the side of the Gentiles? And yes the meltynauts, after weeks in which Bad Damon shook the streets of the country, the election of the Miss Mystic Falls was the ideal theater to allow our favorite vampire to find the best part of himself: Elena. And it was time! After Tyler’s murder or the horrible deal with Cade, Damon now has to face up to his mistakes if he wants to be worthy of forgiveness by the time Elena wakes up. Julie Plec has announced the death of another character in the sequel of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. Who would then leave the series?
There are some days, Julie Plec, the showrunneuse of The Vampire Diaries has revealed that the second part of the season 8 still reserved a tragic death . Obviously, it did not disclose the name of the person who is dying but she insisted that this death would be “painful” and “terrible” . That does not mean anything good and we can not help but fear for our favorite characters. But then who could be this next victim? The only person who, for us, is safe Alaric is because we already know it will be in season 4 of The Originals, which will take place two years after the events of The Vampire Diaries . The Vampire Diaries Season 8: Episode 3, Bonnie must choose between Enzo and Damon, our criticism

Last night, the US channel The CW aired the episode 3 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. Discover then immediately our critique of “You Decided That I Was Worth Saving”.

This week, Sybil is developing a plan of Machiavellian when she realizes that she is still unable to have complete control of Enzo . She now knows that Bonnie is the most important person in her eyes and she will quickly discover that it plays a big role in the life of Damon also. By finding their weak point, it is easy for the siren to find the solution to all his problems. The episode 3 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries starts while Sybil is once again trying to alter the memories of Damon . He now lives in a world where he apparently never had the opportunity to meet Elena Gilbert who would have died with his parents in a car accident. These scenes still possible to play the card of nostalgia, not to mention that we have the pleasure of meeting briefly Liz Forbes. Damon can no longer be linked to memories of Elena.

Tyler did he come back in the series just to die? What is the mysterious plan of the siren? Can it really manipulate Damon remotely? This episode is definitely the best season yet. It implements many parallel with episode 5 of Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, “The Reckoning”, in which Klaus wants to force Stefan to kill Elena and ends convinced him to turn off his humanity . We feel that the writers take more risks without necessarily choose the easy and hopefully the season will continue on this path. Furthermore, one wonders how Georgie – who witnessed of things rather abnormal – will digest what she saw and how Alaric justify to her. While waiting to discover later, know that the episode’s synopsis 4 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries is already on melty. What did you think of this episode?
