Last night, episode 3 of season 5 of Orphan Black was broadcast on BBC America. So it’s time to discover our review of “Beneath Her Heart” and the promotional video of episode 4!

Last week, in episode 2 of season 5 of Orphan Black, MK sacrificed himself. This tragic death was quite traumatic. Was episode 3 so shocking and emotional? What happened this week in “Beneath Her Heart” ? In these first two episodes, Sarah, Cosima, Rachel and MK had received all the attention, but Alison had been set aside, making himself very discreet. Yesterday evening, the opposite happened. Alison was at the heart of “Beneath Her Heart” , with a mix of flashbacks and dilemmas she is currently facing . We realized that her past was still haunting her.
This episode included many flashbacks, bringing us back to the first season of the show with Alison and her BFF, Aynsley who died. In the past, we find the two couples when everything went well, trying hallucinogenic mushrooms and offering us a moment of respite and humor. We learn that Beth contacted her at the same time. In the present, it is discovered that Alison always feels the presence of Aynsley, especially when she saw Chad, her husband. From then on, she began to crack and called the dealer of the school to take alcohol and pills. It has also been seen that since she discovered the existence of the clones, she has always questioned her life. Why is she the housewife? Why does she have that face? Alison showed incredible courage and loyalty to her sisters . “Beneath Her Heart” was really successful, highlighting a key character of the Clone Club. Alison has always been helpful but often sidelined from her sisters. She preferred to have a semblance of normal life in her chic suburbs while her sisters gave themselves bodies and souls in their struggle against Neolution. It is a beautiful tribute to this character because we know it is the ultimate season of the show. Nostalgia was present as well as emotion and we witnessed the strength of Miss Hendrix. In addition, there was no lack of humor and Donnie’s stage scene was remembered after drinking Alison’s mixture (medication + alcohol). What’s in Episode 4? “Let the Children and Childbearers Toil” Looks just intense with a touch of humor. The video promo reveals that Felix’s sister will be back and it seems that Rachel has had an experience on Kira. Moreover, Cosima will make a shocking discovery. What is it ? A few hours after the broadcast of “Teotwawki”, we propose you our criticism of a surprising and decisive episode. Watch out for spoilers!
Last night AMC was broadcasting season 3 episode Fear The Walking Dead and although it did not have the same rhythm as the premiere season, it turned out to be full of interesting things. The adaptation of Madison, Nick and Alicia to the ranch of the Otto family is done gradually and of course with some clashes. We soon find out that Luciana should get by and as expected, she is as enthusiastic as Nick has the idea to stay with Troy. Difficult to want to rebuild his life with the soldiers who attacked defenseless people and wanted to leave it for dead because of the injury they inflicted . But for now, Madison seems determined to stay and push her children to better integrate, By setting an example and volunteering for a rescue mission. Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast season 3 episode The Originals. Then discover without further delay our critique of “Haunter of Ruins”.
This fourth season of The Originals is very dark. Between the sacrifices of children and a magic that seems uncontrollable, the Mikaelson will have to face a new force that remains still very mysterious. Hello everyone! On this rainy Sunday, I find you for a whole new chronicle. While I invited you to relive the day when … the superheroes came to power on American television , I wanted to come back to one of the events of this mid-season on the CW : Arrival of Riverdale. Based on the Archie Comics, the series plunges us into an atmosphere as captivating as disturbing contrary to the clichés that usually make law in teen-shows. Riverdale is a modern-day series that draws on the problems of our generation without worrying about the scenarios seen and revisited. For if the series offers us the stereotypes of the characters that we are accustomed to cross in teen shows, it is to better break the codes and denounce the injustices yet too familiar of the high school students . Produced by Greg Berlanti, past master in the art of getting strong messages across the small screen, Riverdale almost did not happen. Indeed, a pilot had already been refused in 2014 before being improved in 2015 when the success of the producer has completely exploded. Thanks to an irreproachable staging, a gifted cast and a red thread, Riverdale brings together all the ingredients that could make her a huge success.
And his first asset lies clearly in his way of associating a very 60’s style with extremely modern characters. This offers a very interesting contrast. And to tell the truth, I had the regular impression of seeing Sandy or Danny de Grease at a time when everything would be allowed including getting out of the boxes. The women who, at that time, had to struggle to impose their views, are real fighters here. Secret, strong, intelligent and determined not to let themselves go, they have everything to inspire us in a world where sexism has unfortunately not disappeared . Everything is subtle in Riverdale and above all, everything is assumed. So yes, the basic recipe follows the pattern of hundreds of teen shows before it but if you really pay attention, you will see that it often comes out of the box. The last episode has brilliantly addressed the delicate subject of slut-shaming unfortunately so present at the time when all our actions and gestures are tracked on the internet.
But Riverdale also stands out by offering to follow the adventures of heroes far from being irreproachable. Even Betty, who seems so smooth and sweet at first, proves to be complex and unsuspected. Where we would have expected clear intrigues from the start, we had the right to total blurring. And yes, the love triangle Betty / Archie / Veronica that would have been so easy to exploit lasted only one episode. Likewise, Archie, crazy in love with his music teacher, nevertheless cracked for Veronica. This translated to perfection the sometimes confused feelings and emotions that one can feel when one is a teenager . Riverdale is also returning to the teen show’s first steps by focusing on young people rather than lingering too long on the problems of adults … at least for now. In doing so, the suspense grows thicker and we are still more delighted to know what really happened in order for Alice Cooper to commit such hatred to Jason Blossom.
Personally, I think I first cracked for the beauty of the pictures. Riverdale has a rarely matched aesthetic that gives it a real identity . A universe clearly enriched by a soundtrack deep and well brought. No question of turning the show into a musical, music serves, embellishes and highlights the storylines in order to give them that timeless dimension that we love so much. Because even if the series were to be canceled in the coming months, it will have left its imprint on the American network. Do not rely on appearances, Riverdale is far from being a teen-show like the others. As for the murder of Jason, I still have the feeling that Miss Grundy is too wary for it to be really possible. Why did you stop Archie from entrusting what he had heard? He never intended to involve her. On the other hand, it is clear that she exerts a very unhealthy influence on the young man. Does it have anything to do with Jason’s disappearance? One thing is certain, this series is a real breath of fresh air in my eyes and after having literally cracked for Dawson, Newport Beach or even Les Frères Scott, I am eager to fall in love with Riverdale.

A few hours after the broadcast of the episode 3 of Riverdale, discover our review!
Last night, The CW was broadcasting episode 3 of Riverdale . Entitled “Body Double” , the episode dealt with a very current subject and yet quite recurrent in teen-shows: slut shaming. It all starts with Veronica, who agrees to go with Chuck, one of the most popular guys in high school. But after the evening spent with two, Veronica finds herself in the middle of a scandal in high school, with a picture of her that turns on the students’ phones. Determined to take revenge, she embarks on Betty’s adventure and other girls (including Ethel, a character played by Shannon Purser, known for her short role as Barb in Stranger Things) in order to make masks fall in the high school boys. This intrigue once again allowed Betty and Veronica to get closer, thus sealing their friendship for good . The dynamic between the two protagonists is in any case formidable, showing us that this friendship is a real highlight in the series.
Parallel to all this, Archie confessed to having heard a shot at the night when Jason disappeared. Obviously, he left the name of Miss Gundry out of all this, but the end of the episode reveals that the secret relationship between the two characters could well be revealed to the big day soon. In any case, the father of Archie seems to have kiffé the teacher of music and one already imagines complications thereafter between father and son. The hero of the series clearly did not have the most interesting role this week. As we said above, the girls were at the heart of the plot. Last season, Homeland took us to Europe for its plot and it was in Berlin that Carrie had put his bags. There, our heroine tracked down a terrorist group that threatened the German population with a chemical weapon aimed at destroying it. If the drama was avoided closely, one of the characters of the show, it was confronted to the latter. It is obviously Quinn whose execution had also been filmed and revealed on the net. Hello everyone! I hope you are okay and that these early days of 2017 are fantastic. I take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful year. I hope you will fulfill your wildest dreams and that you will be overwhelmed by love. This week, I decided to upset my little habits to tell you about a French series, Clem. Let it be said, the family series of TF1 became cult over the years to the point of becoming a true rendezvous for fans who have become accustomed to the adventures of heroine like no other. First conceived as a telefilm, Clem was so successful on the channel that TF1 did not hesitate to transform it into a series. It must be said that almost 10 million viewers gathered February 22, 2010 to meet the Boissier family . A record that largely explains the chain’s confidence. Carried by Lucie Lucas and Victoria Abril, Clem has built a true community of followers to the point of becoming the most sought-after television series in France in front of Game of Thrones in 2015. With a talented cast and intrigues always fair and Authentic, the series clearly deserves its success.
While some still call it a teen series, Clem has so much more to offer. Its great strength lies in its ability to capture the problems of the moment. Far from simply digging seen and reviewed images, the series is part of his time offering to address still taboo subjects in French society . Whether it is the main subject of Clem – the pregnancy of a teen -, alcoholism, homosexuality, school harassment or even death, the series tries to look realistically on The problems of daily life and the sometimes terribly violent dramas of life. It must be said that the departure of Mathieu Spinosi remains still today one of the greatest regrets of the fans. Especially since it is a real tragedy that accompanied the farewells of this character so emblematic. While some American series have a tendency to make constant use of this scenario in order to create cliffhangers to the point of trivializing their death, Clem knew how to propose a genuine and heart-rending intrigue. For anyone who has lost someone knows how this is a suffering of all times, a drama which one does not call into two episodes . Where others would have made something sensational, Clem was able to depict the mourning with realism without entering the cliches, without barriers, without shortcuts.
Even if the casting changes over the seasons, writers have this crazy capacity to renew themselves and to rely brilliantly on Clem and Caro, the two strong women of the family. Between divorce, reconstructed family, high school, career change and painful past, the girls evolve and grow with us. And the more time passes, the more Clem becomes the heroine of a whole generation who dares and is no longer afraid to affirm who she is, and this, despite the difficulties. Clem darkens and it undeniably is an ideal model for young girls . She makes mistakes but uses them to advance and she does not let anyone dictate her conduct. Better, she surfs on current fashions and desires by opening her channel Youtube for example. And the message is simply sublime: we have the right to be wrong, we have the right to be lost and not to know where we are but we must never forget that it is falling Learns and that our loved ones are there to show us how to continue even when it seems impossible. Julie Plec has announced the death of another character in the sequel of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. Who would then leave the series?
There are some days, Julie Plec, the showrunneuse of The Vampire Diaries has revealed that the second part of the season 8 still reserved a tragic death . Obviously, it did not disclose the name of the person who is dying but she insisted that this death would be “painful” and “terrible” . That does not mean anything good and we can not help but fear for our favorite characters. But then who could be this next victim? The only person who, for us, is safe Alaric is because we already know it will be in season 4 of The Originals, which will take place two years after the events of The Vampire Diaries . After a season wanting to take control and leave the park that kept her prisoner, Maeve finally backed off in the final minutes of the Season Finale. A poignant and unexpected scene which proved once again that it is one of the pillars of the series. Revenue in the park for her daughter Maeve should make every effort to find her . Knowing her, those who will cross her way should spend a dirty quarter of an hour! How will she get her hand on her kid while the robot revolt is raging? As in the first season of Westworld , plot Maeve likely to be our favorite!
This is the downside of this first season. Accustomed to the roles of knight without substance , James Marsden has not really had to work his game to slip into the skin of Teddy, the beloved Dolores. If throughout the episodes we wondered what was really the interest of this character, the Season Finale made us see a new side of Teddy … Does it be exploited as it should be in season 2 of Westworld ? We hope so! What role will he play in robot revolt now that he seems detached from his precious Dolores? Answer in 2018!
