And against all odds, they were of poor quality. But, fortunately, this little blunder should not jeopardize the launch of the smartphone concerned … The company has just raised $ 300 million (about 270 million euros), which will allow him to have Its chance on the market . The Essential Phone is currently available for pre-order, and it will eventually be marketed in the United States.
Designed by Andy Rubin and his team, the Essential Phone has many qualities … No wonder investors have agreed to get started. In case you forgot it, Essential’s first smartphone has a 5.71-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM, and a storage capacity of 128 GB. It has a battery 3040 mAh, a dual 13 megapixel rear sensor and an 8 megapixel front sensor … What to compete with the iPhone 7 Plus and the Galaxy S8! Hopefully, once installed in the US market, it will also be released in Europe.
The post Essential Phone: Big fundraiser for smartphone launch! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The Essential Phone has just been officialized! MeltyStyle points out its 3 main flaws.
This Tuesday, May 30, Andy Rubin and his team have formalized the Essential Phone, their very first smartphone . Positioned on the high end, the device has qualities worthy of the largest manufacturers on the market. Its power is provided by a 8-core Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM, and its photo quality by a dual 13 megapixel rear sensor with f / 1.85 aperture among others. But despite its undeniable strengths, the Essential Phone still catches on some aspects … We selected 3 so you can get an idea.
1) It does not have a jack
Like the iPhone 7, the Essential Phone is devoid of jack … An absence that did not prevent Apple to sell its smartphone by hundreds of thousands, but that could be damaging to its new rival. Yes, the brand of the co-founder of Android does not logically benefit from the same popularity as the Cupertino firm, and potential users might be tempted to turn to a product that incorporates the famous 3.5mm port. A big mistake on the part of Essential ?
2) It is not waterproof
Big negative for the Essential Phone! As more and more smartphones benefit from the IP67 / IP68 certification – including the iPhone 7 – the new flagship is not designed to withstand the water … Once again, it can be a brake! Especially as we will see in the third point, the Essential Phone is really not given.
3) Its price and availability
Already available in pre-order, the Essential Phone is worth $ 699. So yes, it is cheaper than an iPhone 7 or a Galaxy S8 that beats sales records … But it remains very high for a brand that we are just beginning to hear about. Not to mention that the smartphone is currently available only in the US market, which is still quite limited. We’ll see if users crack anyway or not. What do you think of the Essential Phone?
The post Essential Phone: The 3 weak points of the competitor of the iPhone 7 first appeared on The Siver Times.

By forgetting the charger of my Apple Watch in Morocco in the margins of the festival Mawazine 2017, I simply tried not to use my watch connected. This looks simple but, the Apple Watch Series 2 is on my wrist since its release. And ten months of living together with the Apple Watch, it’s not nothing! Even if obviously, the indispensable side of a connected watch has never been proven, I finally found many benefits. And then, I’m still part of generation 89 that does not find any difference between an Apple Watch and hot water.
The first day without my Apple Watch was a Sunday, an endless day. If I got into the habit of running every day on the watch to check my emails, answering SMS and calls, everything changed without this condensed technology. I now felt like I was away from action and info alerts. My iPhone 7 never seemed so overwhelmed by the events . Yes, I can do everything with the smartphone headed but have a Watch in addition, it has nothing to have. Imagine being able to phone on one side and play on the other? If the most skeptical will say that it has not succeeded in replacing the iPhone, I will try to explain in the next few lines why life without Apple Watch is not as simple as what the ”
Live without Apple Watch is snober the know-how . At the restaurant for example, I no longer go out my iPhone at the table. Thanks to the head-watch, discretion was part of my personality. Today I feel like I’m going back in a world where the ultra-connected had not yet its place. Living without Apple Watch is certainly less hard than going without its smartphone but, the chic side of the watch is priceless. Tactile, intelligent and square, the watch connected the firm to the Apple has the DNA of Steve Jobs . And thanks to the Apple Watch, I felt less alone.
By becoming waterproof, the Apple Watch Series 2 showed its muscles. I could share my performance at the pool (I take you when you want to breaststroke ) with my friends who also have a watch. Suddenly, you felt less alone and you could challenge her girlfriend oklm. So there is a social side that I have never seen in the world of telephony. And icing on the cake, doing sports has never been so hilarious for a geek . But the Apple Watch miss me most, when I’m driving a car.
The Apple Watch Series 2 replaces the famous hands-free kit. Basically, one can make calls from the watch and speak James Bond way in his car. And I have to admit that with the Watch, I never had a ticket for talking at the wheel. It is difficult to talk about the connected watch without telling his life, so much the relationship with this gadget is personal. And although I easily zapped the classic watches with the arrival of the iPhone in 2007, I still can not get used to a life without Apple Watch . Without being perfect or indispensable, it has revolutionized my everyday life ….
The post I tested for you, a week without the Apple Watch Series 2! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The supposed dimensions of the Apple smartphone were indicated, as well as some of its features. It really made you want to, you must admit it! But if you’re rather Android than iOS, then the future terminal of Essential should be more interesting to you … It was designed by Andy Rubin, who is precisely the founder of this operating system. After creating Essential Products, former vice president of engineering at Google is about to launch its very first smartphone … Its characteristics have just leaked on the benchmark GFXBench , and it is very promising. Before you say more,
If one believes this benchmark, the Essential FIH-PM1 would have a screen resolution of 2560 x 1312 pixels. It would include a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB RAM and 16 GB storage capacity (which could be expanded by product marketing). But its main advantage would be its photo quality, since it would have a rear sensor of 12 megapixels and a front sensor of 8 megapixels capable of filming in 4K . What to compete with the Google Pixel whose camera is very powerful ! Finally, it would run Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest update of the OS. You understood, Andy Rubin could make strong impression with his first smartphone. At meltyStyle, we’re looking forward to learning more.
The post Essential: The features of the smartphone designed by Andy Rubin have leaked! first appeared on The Siver Times.

However, the death of one of them is still difficult to swallow when we have just dried our tears. Indeed, it was poor Stefan who sacrificed himself in episode 16 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries . But why him? Kevin Williamson, one of the showrunners, told TV Guide about it. It was not always Stefan who was to die in the Final Series, Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson thought of several options. The co-creator first came back on the importance of not killing Bonnie . “Everybody was supposed to die. There were so many conversations in the screenwriters’ room. Everyone had these great ideas. I’m only sad that we can not put everything in because it was only 42.5 minutes. But there were so many possibilities. It was very important for us not to kill Bonnie. Bonnie should not have to die for Elena’s happiness. It was this conversation of ‘Oh, Bonnie can go away and be with Enzo because that’s exactly what she would like.’ Like, no. This is not what Enzo would like. Bonnie needs a fulfilled and rich life. She needs a happy ending. So it was important to us, so we could not kill Bonnie. ” He said. But there were so many possibilities. It was very important for us not to kill Bonnie. Bonnie should not have to die for Elena’s happiness. Kevin Williamson also claimed that Matt could not die in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries otherwise his survival in this world of vampires during all this time would not have been consistent. “We could not kill him, because if he lived as long as a human, he needs to go on. If we’d killed him, it would have been in season 4. You can not do it In season 8. “, he admitted. If we mourn Stefan, know that he could not have been the only one to die! But ultimately after a careful reflection, the choice then turned to one of the two brothers Salvatore. If Stefan sacrificed himself and was to die in this Final Series, It was because it was the only way he had towards redemption after serving Cade and assassinated Enzo in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. “It was really between Damon and Stefan, we got rid of Katherine, we killed Katherine, we knew we were going to bring her back, and there was a conversation that Damon and Stefan both died. There was a conversation about Damon killing Katherine and saving the city and saving everyone. For me, where the story was when I walked in and got involved, Stefan had just been the Ripper for a while Long period of time and he killed Enzo, and the only way he could come back from there, I felt, was to kill him, which is why he must have died, ” Williamson said. Good news, Stefan will not be on his own waiting for Damon and his loved ones. The youngest of the Salvatore found his best friend Lexi , which of course made his death less painful in The Vampire Diaries . “She’s always been there for him.” Once you’ve learned, ‘Oh, they’re better friends.’ “And once we understood who she was and what she did, in that little moment she Stefan for Elena when they got to know each other, and seeing Lexi gave us another side of Stefan at a time when he was just a dark vampire. This girl, now I’m more interested in Stefan. She really helped to shape her like a character. And she’s always been there for him. It turns out that she was the one who helped her to be a Ripper. She has always been there for him and brought him back. It’s perfect , “he went on, as the final scene of Season 8 of The Vampire Diaries was explained to you, and the Salvatore brothers were found together. , Without the death of Stefan, the fact that Caroline may have a future in New Orleans would not have been possible. The vampire was to die for the story to continue … And you, what do you think of the Choice of Stefan’s death in the Final Series of The Vampire Diaries? The fact that Caroline may have a future in New Orleans would not have been possible. The former vice president of engineering for the Mountain View firm is set to launch a smartphone.
Since his departure in November 2014 from Google, the former vice president of engineering of the firm of Mountain View has launched Playground Global, a start-up incubator. His project should take shape in the coming months with the creation of a company called Essential and he would be the director of operations according to Bloomberg which the information relates. To accomplish its objectives, Andy Rubin has surrounded himself with former Apple employees and Alphabet, the conglomerate of companies created in 2015 following the restructuring of Google, put in trouble by now of critical flaws Android on the Nexus and Pixel . Essential will have a specific goal: the launch of a high-end smartphone.

Andy Rubin, creator of Android, would come back with a new high-end smartphone
According to Bloomberg , one of smartphone prototypes designed by Essential has a larger screen than the iPhone 7 Plus (5.5 inches) but a fingerprint sensor less dense. The company should like Apple has done previously with Force Touch, incorporating several levels of pressure on the screen to provide a smarter navigation. For design, the Essential smartphone would be manufactured according to sources with metal edges and a ceramic back, the latter being a risky bet. Also in the program, a connector to charge the smartphone and extend its functionality over time but also a magnetic sensor to clip modules or even a camera with a 360-degree lens. Question price, the company would bet on a starting price of 649 dollars (nearly 610 euros) but all this would still be studied. No date is mentioned on a launch from 2017. Andy Rubin could move the smartphone market, his former company, Google it, plans to launch two watches online this year . Two interesting files to follow …
The post Android: Its creator would arrive with a new smartphone first appeared on The Siver Times.
