Alien Covenant unveils itself on a brand new poster on which appears a threatening Xenomorph and … say drool!
If there is a return to the cinema that fans of horror await, and probably you too, it is that of the famous Xenomorph of the saga Alien. And while the release date of the movie Alien Covenant, which Ridley Scott described as more scary than ever , is approaching , a new poster has just appeared on the web. More precisely the Korean version of the poster of the film which highlights several characters but especially a Xenomorph more menacing than ever. With her immense teeth and the drool that drips from her mouth, the creature seems determined to hunt down our heroes until death. This Korean poster has the merit of announcing the color!
Above the Xenomorph there are obviously the characters of the film. Katherine Waterston, who will play the heroine of this opus, or Michael Fassbender, who will again be an Android with obscure motives. Alien Covenant, a link with Prometheus was unveiled , is a sequel to this same movie and promises to tell us more about the origins of the creature. A creature invented during the release of the Eighth Passenger directed by Ridley Scott (once again at the helm here). In short, the promise not to be disappointed by this new opus which promises very heavy . Between the different images and videos, we can not wait to find out! What do you think of this poster?

Alien Covenant: What links with Prometheus?

Alien Covenant will be the occasion for Ridley Scott to expand the universe of this franchise existing since 79. But what links will the film have with Prometheus?

Ridley Scott has created a film in 1979 monument alongside HR Giger: the Xenomorph from Eighth Passenger . Therefore, the monster appeared in numerous films as Aliens, Alien³ or Alien Resurrection . At the exit of Prometheus in 2012, many fans hoped to see the creature in this new production of Ridley Scott set in the same universe as the Alien films. Only then, the film has preferred to develop new monsters, one of which explains the origins of the Xenomorph. The disappointment was huge among many aficionados of the franchise but with Alien Convenant , the filmmaker hopes to catch up. By using the term “Alien” in the title, while linking the film Prometheus , Ridley Scott intends to create many links between the two .
That the first teaser of scary alien Covenant seems to confirm is the return of the character played by Michael Fassbender. A character being actually be an Android and will no doubt different in Alien Covenant since several models with similar appearance seem to exist . In Prometheus , the robot wanted to discover the secret of immortality to heal the director of Weyland, Peter Weyland, expedition organizer. In Alien Convenant , there likely that its goal will be to study more closely the anhedral . If this goal is that of Android, impossible not to link to that present in The Eighth Passenger who shared the same purpose. It is also worth noting that Elizabeth Shaw heroine of Prometheus , will be well represented in his absence in the teaser …
Prometheus and Alien Covenant also seem to share a similar aesthetic, even if the first returns around it suggests that it will be more generous in hemoglobin. The bestiary of these two episodes should also be linked and allow to know a little more about the family tree of anhedral , what similarities do they share and how, after “fertilized” humans, have they become that ‘They are today. Without forgetting that the famous Facehugger signs his return in the teaser! The last element that could complete the links between Alien , Prometheus and Alien Covenant is the character played by Daniels Katherine Waterston (soon in Fantastic Beasts 2 which we know new plot elements ). Many rumors suggest a relationship between it and Ripley, the heroine of four films Alien . Of course, it was not until the release of Alien Covenant in May to confirm these theories.
