“The cinema killed me”.
The transition from paper to the big screen is necessarily a complex exercise that leads to mixed reactions among readers, but also among authors. For an esteemed saga like Harry Potter, whose cast has almost been different , a bunch of other films, often adored by critics, have been massacred by the brains behind the original work. Do not touch my book!
Stephen King – “Shining”
The master of the horror novel sees red as soon as he is told about Stanley Kubrick’s film, which would have totally distorted his work as he told Rolling Stone magazine: “The book is hot, the film is cold; Book ends in flame, the film ends in the ice ” . Among the main grievances is the lack of nuance in the character of Jack Torrance : “In my book, there is a narrative sequence where Jack Torrance tries to be good, and it is gradually that he arrives at a Stage of madness (…) When I saw the film, Jack appeared to me insane from the first scene ” . But the worst character remains according to him, that of Wendy, who would only shout from beginning to end (“a screaming mop”
Bret Easton Ellis – “American Psycho”
The author has always maintained that his novel was impossible to transpose on screen because he is interested in consciousness and “we can not really show the complexity of this sensitivity . ” The film would make the character of Patrick Bateman for a monster, when the novel “is much more ambiguous” . It was not more tender with the adaptation of “The Informers” in 2008, film on which he nevertheless worked the script but which made a real oven to the cinema. “This film does not work for a lot of reason, but I do not think any of these reasons come from me . ” The art of questioning …
Uderzo – “Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra”
Co-author of the comic strip with Goscinny (died in 1977), Uderzo is the one who still preserves the Gallic spirit of Asterix and Obelix. And it has long been said that the draftsman / scriptwriter had little taste of the 2nd opus released in the cinema, “Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra” . He reproached Alain Chabat for having distanced himself from the original work, with a much too much Canal humor, and secondary characters that erased Asterix and Obelix. Albert Uderzo, who was certainly cornered by the 15 million spectators who went to theaters, and the cult status of the film, now prefers to temper, assuring him that he is not angry with Alain Chabat: “I was just A bit annoyed because it is not what I ‘
Roald Dahl – “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
It’s a constant: Roald Dahl hates all the adaptations of his books. With a fierce hatred for the most famous of them, the “Charlie and the Chocolaterie” of 1971 . Pell-mell, he said the film is “lame” , director Mel Stuart “has no talent” , and as for Gene Wilder – the actor who plays Willy Wonka – “it was pretentious and not dynamic enough for the role ” .
Ken Kesey – “Flying over a Cuckoo’s Nest”
Despite the 1976 Oscars (Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Script), Ken Kesey never wore the adaptation of Milos Forman in his heart. While basically, he was motivated by the project and had joined the trick, before slamming the door … two weeks later. He has long recounted that he had never seen the film, although his wife confessed after his death, that he was pleased that the feature was born.
Richard Matheson – “I’m a Legend”
For Richard Matheson, the cinema has lacked respect twice to his work. In 1964 first, where “The Last Man on Earth” did not really pack it: “I am disappointed by this film even if they have more or less followed my story . ” Although he appreciated it a lot, the main actor Vincent Price was “a casting error” . Same in 2007 with the Will Smith version which will make him say: “I do not understand why Hollywood is so fascinated by my book while nobody there ever takes the trouble to film it as I wrote . ”
Winstom Groom – “Forrest Gump”
Winstom Groom was downright bad. He is one of the few to spit on Robert Zemeckis’ film, which would have distorted his work, obscuring important moments of the book, as well as raw language and sex scenes. The choice of Tom Hanks appeared to him as fanciful since in his book, Forrest Gump measures 2m and weighs 110 kgs (he wanted the actor John Goodman instead). Although Winston Groom has not been revered for financial reasons, despite having negotiated a 3% profit on the Paramount, the studio did not spin it, as the film would have Lost money. He will sue them and win. Very well, he wrote in 1995, in the following of his novel: “Never leave someone”
The post Authors who hated the cine adaptation of their book first appeared on The Siver Times.

Death in cinema is a bit like lying in politics: indissociable. And to prove it, here is the list of the 10 most deadly movies, established by the site moviebodycounts.com. Mass murder movies that made the hemoglobin budget fart!
PS: Only the dead visible on the screen are counted, so exit the planet’s destruction coughs cough.
10. “We were Soldiers” by Randall Wallace
9. “Titanic” by James Cameron
Titanic is not only the film that makes you chialer, it is also one of the films that counts the greatest number of deaths (ah bah both so linked in fact …). There are 307 deaths in this film!
In fact, the actor did not decapitate during the filming of one of the scenes of combat of the film (that of the beginning in the fog) . The actor was on a robotic horse supposed to tilt him back at the time of a sword thrust. The system did not work, but the actor Hiroyuki Sanada managed to stop his blade a few centimeters from the star’s neck. Phew.
4. “Troy” by Wolfgang Petersen
Deaths, deaths everywhere in this film with Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Diane Kruger and Sean Bean. There are 572 people who die in this film.

We know what it is, we must start, pay the rent, put a foot in the business. But still, we have to talk about these films.
Their buddies still have to type bars, seen the file! Film null, ridiculous role, haircut or held not swagg at all … A thousand and one reasons to mock and chamber these actors become then real stars.
Hugh Jackman in “Oklahoma”
Adapted from the musical of the same name, this film was the first appearance on the big screen of the Australian BG. Finally, big screen … It was a telefilm, so no phew. Describes, in addition, as “a dance and singing extravagance”. Hard. Since he has re-edited the trick, the better, in Les misérables, we know that he likes to sing and dance, with class. But there, in Oklahoma, the realization, the screenplay, a little bit of messing up. Appearance: a shit for his record.
Jennifer Aniston in “Leprechaun”
Who would have imagined it in a horror film? Low budget? And, in addition, survive (her character eh, not her)? Well she did all that! The beautiful Rachel of Friends did not escape, at its beginning of hard labor. But good, apart from the cheap side, the film is not so disgusting then you can laugh at it with respect, anyway.
Sylvester Stallone in “The party at kitty and studs”
Perhaps the hottest of the list. And for good reason, since Sly has shot in an adult film! Some say erotic, rather than porn, well admit. In any case, the actor played without too much clothes and the children did not have to see this film . Excuse the future Rocky: the urgent need for thune because he could not even afford to eat. Ok, we admit, in this case, balek. And beautiful recovery after.
Emma Stone in “Superbad”
Unpretentious comedy, intended to make you spend 1:30 to laugh, or at least without thinking, this film has not too badly walked. He even launched the careers of Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. And that of another actress, then unknown or almost … Emma Stone. Which went on with other comedies, before taking the braid. For us, it was not so dishonorable but it was the star herself who said it in interviews : “This role was the most embarrassing.” Well, we put you on the list so you’ve looked for it.
Robert Downey Jr in “The Shaggy Dog”
Known for his roles in Iron Man and Avengers, as well as the cult Thunder in the tropics, the son of also began with roles not folichons. And yeah! Afterwards , the role was not very original since he interpreted a diabolical physician shaken and dangerous . While it is a Disney of the years 2000. The Americans really like to fuck scientists perched everywhere … In short, Robert Downey Jr plays a bastard who transforms Tim Allen into a dog. And makes grimaces and sarcastic remarks. That, to the limit, it was interesting because it indicated the potential of the man.
Kevin Bacon in “Animal House”
A role of relou he managed rather well say so! An unbearable slap head that everyone wanted to martyr and calm down, really . And more insults collected than Dollars on the bank account, of course. It’s the game. After that, Kevin Bacon had to continue his server taf, before he really broke with “Friday 13”. Then “Apollo 13” (a little kiff on the number 13?) And so on. Inevitably, “Animal House” would do task on a CV, we imagine it would disappear, for lack of place eh. Have you seen one or not? And if not, which one you want to watch out for?
The post We bet that these actors have forgotten these films that give them shame first appeared on The Siver Times.

A percussive title, a content that promises to be original and useful, when you see the book, you are dying to leaf through it. Except that it does not exist in real, damage.
Maybe we should start with the title, and then see what it is possible to do with it. If it makes you want, we try to find a nice cover and find enough stuff to say inside. The recipe for success is complicated. A clear advice in any case: to take inspiration from these books there.
The endless story (saga of eponymous films)
Based on a German novel, the film shows a kid who wants to understand what a daron reads about the book. Which remains a little secret. Which does not prevent the kid from traveling in a universe called Fantasia, where stories repeat and never end, are eternal . The only limits are the creativity of the person and his ability to believe in his dreams.
——- 1 ——-
Family of geniuses (“The Tenenbaum family”)
Wes Anderson likes the special and worked-out productions, and we note that books often play a part. The book is here the memories of the mother of a family who tells about everything that happens with her children and her husband . All the tares, in passing. The stories, the successes, the failures, the neuroses of the madre … There must be crunchy if it tells everything!
—— 2 ——
Isle of Naboombu (“The Witch’s Apprentice”)
The book tells a story of children in which the real images and the animated images merge, mix, as in the film we have before us. More than a book, he announces what will happen to the group of kids and describes a medallion to find, a magic spell to use, and so on. Yes, the book is prophetic. Right.
——- 3 ——-
Mister Babadook (eponymous film)
A book of kids that presents us the monster Babadook, whore. And we see it well afterwards, the bastard! This is how the film puts us in the conditions of a horror film and psychologically stressful. Because once they read the book, the characters realize that the babadook does exist . No way to ignore it, it’s over! A blow to finish possessed …
——- 4 ——–
Misery series (“Misery”)
Then, you must even read the real book (different from those written in the film by the writer, yai feints there) to grasp the trick, and really kiffer. This book by Stephen King is a slaughter, then adapted into film. Much less successful, alas. But faster to finish! A writer gets caught by a fan a little shaken who wants to force him to continue a certain story … An eight-closed ouf, crazy characters, tense scenes …
——- 5 ——-
The philosophy of time travel (“Donnie Darko”)
Written by a former professor, the book disturbs a lot the young Donnie when he realizes that the things described there really happen to him . In the film (director’s cut, 3 years after the release), we can even see certain encrusted passages, read them … And Donnie will accept his destiny, when he understood the scope and veracity of the book. Other examples in mind?
The post What if the best books were those invented in the movies? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Some insist that the essential thing is to be cited, at the center of attention. No matter what. These films prove that it is better to avoid scandals anyway.
A bit like the concept of notoriety in marketing and advertising to excess. All that matters is to impose the brand name in people’s minds, as the name comes out automatically. What remains a risky bet, in terms of results. These films, whether voluntarily or not, have experienced it. Which turned out to be rather unfortunate.
Galoche and spouses cocus in “Snow White and the hunter”
That actors and other members of the shoot get caught, it happens. Everyone knows it, it’s part of the folklore, limit. It’s almost a surprise when nothing happens. But hey, there is a minimum … There both were maqued and had to grill to cheese. Actress Kristen Stewart was in a couple with Robert Pattinson, director Rupert Sander married with two kids . Public apology, declaration of love respective with their spouses … then separation not long after. Oops, a little scandal that overshadowed the film.
White everywhere to have more money in “Exodus Gods and Kings”
First problem: Ridley Scott did not hire any Egyptian actor, which vexed some and surprised others, for a question of coherence, given the story. Alas, it could have happened. Except that the justifications were worse. The director has plainly explained that it was better not to have actors named Mohammed xx of xx to see his film financed as he wants and can, to the maximum. For the moment, it was in Spain. So, do you have to take the “right” actors to get the taxes, etc?
The death of the main actor in “The Crow”
The stupid accident. Very stupid. A scene had to be shot where Michael Masse was shooting Brandon Lee, almost at close range, in the chest. Obviously, with a forgery, respecting rules, etc. Except that there was a mistake, that the false gun was a real one and that it was badly cleaned . So the blank cartridge sent out real cartridge debris and Lee was taken away by losing a few liters of blood. And he stayed there …
The helicopter crash and the drama in “Twilight Zone: the movie”
Vic Morrow was a renowned actor and was logically called to participate in this film with large budget. Playing a guy who travels through time and observing the various wars, he had to play a scene where he saved two children. Helping them cross a river, pursued by a helicopter and surrounded by explosions. Poor tuning, an explosion was too close to the helicopter that was embossed on the actors … Morrow and a kid were beheaded, the other drowned. Fucking, horrible. Director Jon Landis has seen his career take a turn after that.
The White man saves the other incapables in “The Great Wall”
A bit like in Exodus, turning a lot of whites when it is not coherent is a little embarrassing. But there was diversity, fortunately. Asian actors took their place, normal. Except that the savior, bah it was Matt Damon . Very white. From classic to what, the white man who saves other ethnicities. And bad publicity for the film.
The hacking of Sony Data in “The Interview”
James Franco and Seth Rogen had rather us accustomed to jokes not eggs and comedies unpretentious. Which also has its success, quiet. This time, they were aiming higher, without perhaps realizing it. With their comedy where they plan to have Kim Jong-Un assassinated, they upset North Korea and hackers. Threatening to cause cinema and other retaliation have discouraged Sony, so the film came out in very few rooms, few people have seen it (except by downloading it) and its reputation is limited to this story. Have you seen any of these, or have you limited yourself to scandal?
The post In fact, it’s not always good to make the headlines for a film first appeared on The Siver Times.

Life is sometimes hard and ugly, so you have to know how to rebound. Cinema is a way, with some beautiful movies that make you rekiffer life.
Even though beauty is subjective, we can still agree on certain things. Of which the beauty of the 7th art. If we had to give examples, then we would cite these films, where the aesthetic is so close to perfection that you think you dream. And you say yes, thank you to life.
2001 the odyssey of space
For more than 2h30, Kubrick walks in a universe of a power … Besides the meaning and the reflection behind all this, the film subjugates you. The blackness of some shots, dives and dives, symbols (cf the black monolith and religion, etc.) … Not to mention the special effects, crazy for the time. A very slow film, it’s true. But a slap in terms of beauty.
——- 1 ——-
Drive
Those who went to the cinema to see pursuit races were disappointed! The guys came out completely annoyed from the room, it was pretty funny. Frustrated, they had not managed to enjoy the beauty of the trick: the light / dark, the close-ups, the sun in the camera, the blood squirts … Everything is beautiful . Every shot is a photo, brothel. And Nicolas Winding Refn is a recidivist (Valhalla Rising before, Only God Forgives after).
——- 2 ——-
The Tree of Life
Warning, it’s going to be raging. Many accuse Terrence Malick of intellectual handjob, to enjoy himself alone and slide a small carrot to the spectators. On the meaning of his films, at the expense of aesthetics. So for once, it is quoted at the right time, as an example of success. Yes, filming huge buildings with nature just to side, see in the middle in fact, it’s limit coherence level. But you have to forget that and check out the images …
——- 3 ——-
Enter the Void
He also qualified as a striped director, Gaspard Noé is actually different. He tries stuff, tries to surprise, even shock. So it’s sure that in your sofa, you can not kiffer, it’s the game my poor Lucette! But clearly, the aesthetic of this film kills … Basically, all you see and hear are the perceptions of the main character, Oscar. An experience. And colors, you’ve never seen that. In hallu mode, illegal by-products or naturally perched, but not normal in any case.
——- 4 ——–
Melancholia
Separated in two distinct parts, one centered on the feeling of melancholy, the other on the planet that will crash and bears the same name, Lars Von Trier’s film multiplies references to romanticism . The poster refers to Sir John Everett Millais’s Ophelia painting, then scenes depicting Wagner’s paintings, Caravaggio, Cranach … Before drawing a scene on Durer’s Melancholia engraving. You will have guessed, the plans are worked and sought after, a treat.
——– 5 ———
Sin City
What memory ! The film directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez put us on the ass. Inspired by the comics of the first city, the adaptation was made in 3D and faithfully reproduces the images of the comic . So with enormous contrasts between the classic black and white of the general mood, and the garish colors at times like blood when it goes off into baston. You can watch it ten times, it’s always beautiful. Besides, you do not get bored! Which one you loved the most?
The post Go, a little pure beauty to forget the sad daily first appeared on The Siver Times.

Rather genuine creations, and quality please. Historical drama, war, love, martial arts, action: there’s a little bit of everything, you can choose the one that tempts you the most.
Live
Immersed in the era of the Chinese cultural revolution that is not so far away and of which we do not know much in fact. The director Zhang Yimou makes us discover it via the fate of a family that tries and must survive in front of the system and all its venerable machinery that rot their lives. Released in 1994, this film sums up the atmosphere there from the 40s to the 70s, with its political and historical upheavals .
——- 1 ——-
Wives and concubines
Master Chen Zuoqian lives in a crazy palace, because he has what seems to be the dough that spills over everywhere. The guy multiplies the women at his disposal, already three and then four when the young Songlian arrives. Sold by her mother, she must learn to interact with other women . And above all, to surpass them. Everything is concentrated on these relations of competition and subordination towards the master. The beauty of the plans and colors strikes even more seen the contrast with the cruelty of the story.
——- 2 ——-
The demons at my door
More recent, released in 2000, this film deals with the conflict between China and Japan and denounces the stupidity, the horrors . Obviously, making an apologia for the war, even civil, remains rather rare eh! Basically, the situation is brought to life through Dasan, a peasant who sees two sacks left by soldiers of the Chinese army arriving at his house in the middle of the night. Inside, a Japanese prisoner and his interpreter. Except that for months, the soldiers do not come to recover them, then the whole village knows and wants to stop the prisoners. It looks tense …
—— 3 ——–
Hero
Dating from 2002 and with Jet Li, if it can reassure some! It is true that it can, to have landmarks, to find a face that we know, coughed coughed what. This film tells the story of China from 2000 years ago, when it was composed of 7 kingdoms, all at war to win . The kingdom of Qin was most afraid because his King wanted to become the first Emperor and nothing else mattered. Classic, the others join to eliminate it and hires three assassins super set: broken blade, snowflake and starry sky. Mock you if you want, but they manage! King Qin sleeps a little less well and does less evil so he promises fortune to the one who will kill these three assassins. Until the day a guy lands with the weapons of the victims. His name ? ” Nameless “. Personally,
—— 4 ——-
The secret of flying daggers
Flying Daggers is the name of the group of bandits who plunder the rich to give to the poor. A kind of Chinese Robin Hood but several. In 856, the power does not bother with hesitations … There is grafted a love story a little cul-ass, you fear the film cliché … and there is a reversal that changes everything! So, the poetic and dreamlike film also becomes epic, and one never says no to a little spice . In the end, of the beautiful work, especially for a chinese.
——- 5 ——-
The Three Kingdoms
John Woo returns home and continues to do what he knows how to do: show with action scenes of pork and big money. What necessarily displeases some because from the historical point of view, there are things to be said. It’s a film about Ben Hur, a film that traces the history of China, with a lot of characters, intrigues, battles … Because you have to choose, you only see one battle, that of the Red Cliff, where oppose Two kingdoms united to a third, all under the empire of Han Xiandi who then reigned. So you’re going to test which one?
The post The Chinese know how to do everything, even super movies, but it’s not new first appeared on The Siver Times.

Maybe it will come, by watching those who master. In any case, it costs nothing to try and hope!
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The click can happen, who knows ?! And even if nothing ever happens, bah so much worse, you will at least have a good time in front of these films. Because they are part of the classics of dance films. Each in its own style.
Black Swan
Known to all because fairly recent and including a French representative: this dear Vincent Cassel. As a ruthless ballet master, he tests the dancer Nina in her final entrenchments to see if she is capable of interpreting her evil double, the black swan, and not just the pure, the white. A film as magnificent as dramatic, with superb ballet scenes . And trying. Natalie Portman is crazy, like her character Nina.
——- 1 ——-
Fame
Many people dream of becoming artists, and of the glory that goes with (cuckoo Sefyu). And of course, it’s not so easy to get there, even by charging. In this 1980 film, we follow the trajectory of eight young people at the New York School of Performing Arts, the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. The 4-year training will not bring everyone to the right place. To remember, the performance of Irene Cara, which we still talk about today.
——- 2 ——-
Sexy Dance
Well, the title already puts you in the frame of mind “Will be nice stuff to watch”. And it is rather the case, for the chicks who can subdue Channing Tatum as for the guys who will watch the movements of Jenna Dewan. Basically, Tyler is a wanker who gets caught and makes a kind of TIG in a dance school , where beautiful Nora prepares her show. You’ve already figured it out. But the dance scenes are successful, this is the main and our subject here.
——- 3 ——-
Save the last dance
Another love story, we’re not going to hide it, it often comes back. Sara, a talented young girl, tries to integrate a school in New York but her mother dies on the day of the audition. Back in the suburbs of Chicago, at his father’s. And in a high school where she is one of the rare white, and rather badly received. Except by Chenille and then his brother Derek. Which, a little bad boy, will teach him hip-hop. And here are our dance scenes.
——– 4 ——–
Dirty Dancing
Yes, yes, yes, still a love story, I can not help it. Already it is difficult to escape in films in general, then for dance movies, you understand the mission … In general, Frédérique finds himself boarding a family in the summer. Rich, she discovers a completely different world, then a world: that of dance . Notably through Johnny, the dance teacher BG of the establishment. A classic, with Patrick Swayze young and handsome.
——- 5 ——-
Grease
That way, we will have covered almost all the classics. And yes, there’s love in the air. Danny and Sandy meet during summer holidays, but she has to go back to Australia … Except that she is joining the same high school as Danny, and that they find themselves later. Otherwise , you have beautiful choreographies, dances to slam a muscle when you do not master and a John Travolta that banana. In every sense of the term. Who will be tempted?
The post If you do not know how to dance but you love it, watch these movies first appeared on The Siver Times.

Flagrant dumpling for directors who have torn on details. What to make hallucinate the (real) scientists and give you the opportunity to shine a little.

If you like to make the guy who shoots and get out of “Did you know”, it’s ideal. Basically, we all know that science fiction films do not 100% respect the scientific foundations, that they sort out a little with reality to give us full eyes. Meanwhile, you can still say that you are not fooled and recall the facts. And if it allows you to impress buddies or a target in passing, bah much better.
Star Trek: Into darkness
No need to turn around the pot for chandeliers. We see the ships break their mouths at a brisk pace, it’s spectacular. Except that given the distance from the earth, the fall should be much slower .
2001 the odyssey of space
Rather well done, Kubrick’s film has nonetheless neglected certain aspects. First thing: because of the proximity between the ship and the moon, the latter should be much larger . Second gap: the guy who makes his jogging tranquillou. Normally it should be propelled against the walls.
Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi
To increase the dramatic intensity, you are made to believe that if the guys lose their helmet, they die directly. Gender, if there is a stupid accident, a debris that breaks the glass in Carglass mode (of the size “of a coin of 2 € and craaaac …”), or a guy too relaxing who wants to put his helmet to smoke a cigarette. Absolutely , he could, his skull would not explode instantly as we are led to believe .
The guardians of the galaxy
The guy who holds his breath, normal, to keep the oxygen that remains to him and manage a return in the ship. Mouai. Already, not breathing remains rather difficult, even if you have to wait and find a new source of oxygen. After 15 seconds, he should have fallen into the vapes . And aaaaa admit that he is there, it would be damn bad when he arrives in the ship. Gender critical condition and probable death within the next few minutes.
Interstelllar
We all kiffé this film that put us a slap. Another film by Christopher Nolan that shakes you up and makes you think. And a Matthew McConaughay more and more impressive. But, because there is always a but, we still have to take note of the small defects. When Cooper gets sucked into the black hole, the logical end would be that it turns into spaghetti . Because the black hole of a stellar mass can affect the water and make it a huge wave, Cooper’s little body, let me say it does not make the weight.
Other delirium where they touch a little: when Cooper has the idea of using the black hole to gain speed, ok, but how to slow down after, for a safe landing? Remember The Hate Guys.
The Treasure Planet
Animated film sympa, still a Disney of good invoice as one could say between experts in cinema. With the pipe, the blazer and all the mess. Small criticism : to make believe to the kids that a boat can come out of a black hole by operating all the reactors, it’s not nice . A plane, maybe. A boat, no.
Gravity
Well, that’s a classic that applies to all movies that take place in space, to tell the truth. You hear George What Else Clooney type the talk, explosions, clashes … Except that in space there is no air. No atmosphere. So no sound, no noise .
Star Wars (all, mix)
Same in Star Wars when you see the Black Star exploding and making a sound of egg. Bah no, still no sound. And the same conclusion for laser battons . We agree, it’s a shame, it would be con not to hear this noise. Now that we’ve got used to it and we want to do it, we can not go back.
Let’s talk about the ships now. The chase-pursuits and maneuvers are eggs, it’s so beautiful! But we always come back to the same problem: there is no air in space. So no resistance, and no help to direct the ships . They would need reactors everywhere to change the direction of movement. As well as a way to slow down!
The fifth element
When Corben gets stretched out, to save his buttocks from a very fat explosion, and all is false. Already because there is no oxygen in space. This means there would be no combustion. So no fire, no flames, no explosion . The stuff would disintegrate, yes, but in the biggest calm. Finally, save the debris that would fall on the mouth of Corben, which is not supposed to go faster than objects falling without resistance.
Superman (1978)
Traveling in space takes months, years. For example, to reach Pluto of the Earth, it takes nine and a half years. So when Superman lands, he should be much older . There he is still a kid, rather unlikely seen where he comes from! Unless it has gone through a hole or travel faster than light …
Alone on Mars
The fact that there are storms on Mars is well and truly authentic. But they do not reach the same speeds as here. A maximum of 96 km / h. Nothing crazy, able to snatch everything like in the film . Another detail: the gravity is 62% lower than that on Earth, so our approach would be different.
Mars Attacks
Last delirium to emphasize, although it is known and that it will not allow you to flame! You should even pass for a con to say it seriously, so avoid. We do not know if extraterrestrials exist. On Mars, or elsewhere. Water yes, since there is a north and south pole covered with ice. But beings, no. We’ll see. Who will try a bluff to shine?
The post Some scientific anecdotes to go out to make the expert during these films first appeared on The Siver Times.

Before of course it is reduced to a pile of debris after a general attack carried out by the big prehistoric reptiles! Jurassic World , with its Indominus Rex supposedly represented human hubris and our desire for ” always more “, endowed itself with a slightly polemical and political subtext. And we can expect Jurassic World 2, which should also put animal rights forward , to do the same. But if the first film was a little dark from time to time, There is a good chance that the second opus will insist a little more on this aspect. Everything leads us to believe that Jurassic World 2 will be darker and more frightening than its elder , although Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), the two main characters, atmosphere. So, why should we expect Jurassic World 2 to be more disturbing than Colin Trevorrow’s film?
If you are a fan of dinosaurs, you’ve already discovered the image of Jurassic World 2 featuring a brand new character . And it must be admitted that this photo has something very creepy , what make us think that the film will be even more scary. We do not know if it is the difference in size between the little girl and the skeletons of dinosaurs, the empty and mysterious aspect of the museum or the presence of the bones of the prehistoric reptiles that give us this impression. But the fact that we are not very comfortable looking at this picture. Especially that one can be pretty sure of one thing: the museum presented in the photo probably does not lie on the island of the park . This means that the action of Jurassic World 2 could indeed take place on the continent, which would not fail to raise the stakes. And to increase the count of the wounded / dead – since there will be, let us be sure! Not to mention that it is necessary to take into account the rumor circulating on the history of the film and which seems rather credible in view of what happened in the first Jurassic World . For, as you are well aware, the sequel also counts on a political discourse denouncing certain practices of our time, as Colin Trevorrow and JA Bayona , his director , have so often tarnished.
According to the tip of Jurassic World 2 that would have leaked , the film will deal with the military use of dinosaurs. Already, the principle does not appear to us frankly as very joyful, not only because it implies a certain form of maltreatment towards the dinosaurs. And then because, as we know, military experiments ALWAYS end in the films . Now, if the dinosaurs manage to escape and if the action takes place well outside the island, as you might think, imagine the damage they could cause! Owen and Claire are likely to end up with a major disaster on their hands. Finally, The name of the director would almost be enough to convince us that Jurassic World 2 will be much darker than its elder. Because JA Bayona has to his credit The Orphanage , A few minutes after midnight and, even, several episodes of Penny Dreadful . Either a horror movie, a mourning drama, or a series of vampires and slobbery creatures more repugnant than the others. In other words, the director does not have the habit of evolving in very joyful universes! And it probably will not miss a little dark touch to Jurassic World 2. But do not worry, meltynauts, even if the film is likely to turn out darker than its elder, Owen will always be there to Bring some moments of lightness.
The post Jurassic World 2: Should we expect a darker film? first appeared on The Siver Times.

For those who like to fall asleep in front of a movie, do not choose those. They ask you to follow and cogitate then it will not stick.
It’s true that it’s cool to fall asleep tranquillou, rocked by the distant lyrics of an unimportant movie. And precisely, must choose! Because if you put one of the movies cited below, you get yourself. Voluntarily complicated, they demand concentration and reflection.
Inception
You go and come between dreams, reality, different levels, the laws of physics do not exist any more … If you’re not well film, you apple and after that it has no more interest to look at it . The film is built expressly so that you reflect at the same time. Otherwise you end up like math in high school, dropped by a force …
2001 the odyssey of space
Already, the film is long. Then it is slow. But then slow as rarely seen. Leeeeeeent! In short, if you comate when you launch the film, you will fall asleep direct. And if you cling to it by opening one eye, once the right, once the left, and reaching the end, bah we will still have to try to understand the end . At least, to interpret it! Because this is the kind of “open” conclusion where you have to make your own idea.
Eraserhead
A chelou guy, constant music, a woman a little disgusting, sex scenes, alien sperm, dead bodies … David Lynch was already disturbing in 1977 . We love him for that, it’s true. You just have to remember that before pressing the play button.
Memento
Oh surprise, another Nolan movie! Still playing with our brain, the director goes here by the montage to push us to follow. Because in addition to the search for the killer of Leonard’s wife, we have the unpleasant impression that all the film’s plans are not in the logical order , to make comings and goings in history. And that’s the case ! We let you guess the trick if not it breaks all the interest.
Consistency
When it begins, you think of typing a boring movie, already seen a hundred times, and you are preparing to type your little one. Then a comet approaches the Earth … but avoids it. Pity. Except that another thing happens: the people of the evening banter dinner with friends will search a booth supposed to have powers, lower down the street . And boom, they fall on their doubles. And it’s gone: who’s who? Who is really at the table? If it’s not done on purpose, huh.
Donnie Darko
It could have been another film about the teenage and dramatic delusions of a young man. But it goes much further. You see a rabbit, you travel in time, you reflect on the meaning of life (or its lack of meaning, precisely) … Really interesting and a movie become cult after a not so successful out. In part because everyone did not freeze and rejected the work a little. A director’s cut came out in 2004, with explanations from director Richard Kelly. Is there any among you who had made the mistake of watching one of these films at 11 pm or not very lucid?
The post If you mate these movies by comatant, you do not understand anything first appeared on The Siver Times.

Nothing better than watching lilliputiens for 2h to forget that you galley to reach the top of your cupboards. And reboost your confidence.
It is not size that counts, it seems. Nevertheless, people continue to win you, it is obligatory. And that the moments when the situation reverses are rare! Dog of life. So here’s a way to take a step back and de-dramatize: watch movies with lilliputiens.
Gulliver Travels
The novel by Jonathan Swift (1721) inspired a pack of filmmakers for almost three centuries. Georges Méliès drew a short film in 1903, films were released in 1939 and 1960, before the last opus with Jack Black, Emily Blunt and Jason Segel in 2011. In the book, we see the writer Lemuel Gulliver, The hidden island of Lilliput, in the Bermuda triangle . And there, all the inhabitants are tiny! Suddenly, friend Gulliver becomes a giant. Like what, everything is relative. An unpretentious comedy that does good (no, we will not say to whom, no name).
Willow
Co-written and produced by George Lucas, the film was directed by Ron Howard with mass of special effects, a feat at the time and a real leap forward in the matter. Despite two Oscar nominations, Willow was not as successful as that. The pitch: an evil queen, Baymorda, reigns quiet until the day when a prophecy announces the birth of a princess, a sort of elected who will change everything . Which is called Elora (and not Enora, thank you). I tell you not everything, just that it is born and is recovered by a farmer named Willow (ah voila), who happens to be an amateur magician and tiny size. Magic, fairy, and all the brothel of fantasy, it’s not bad.
The Wild Planet
A little more than an hour of entertainment where you leave far. Science fiction, clearly. Some even say that you must see him in a bad state, good, not to push either but each his kiff. Basically, on the planet Ygam, the Draags live cushy, they are super intelligent giants. And their kids play with tiny animals, the Oms . Then one day, a “tame” OMS whose intellect was developed by a draag escapes. The desires and hopes of the Oms change, the balance put in peril. By the way: it was realized by a Frenchman (René Laloux), in 1973.
Ant-Man
Based on characters invented by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Larry Lieber, the film by Adam McKay and Paul Rudd scales the adventures of Scott Lang, aka Ant -Man. Capable of shrinking while increasing his strength, he must assume his power and help Dr. Henry Pym, mainly protect the costume of Ant-Man. Action, special effects, rhythm, you do not shit. As long as you love these films, of course.
The Inner Adventure
It’s better to see him when you’re a kid but hey, why not. A US Navy lieutenant devotes himself to a risky experience: get miniaturized and explore the body of a rabbit . Yeah, know why. Tuck Pendleton, the scientist saved Tuck Pendleton in the body of a supermarket clerk, Jack Putter. And there, Tuck must communicate with Jack as his oxygen supply decreases.
Charlie and the chocolate factory
A very popular Anglo-Saxon story since the release of Roald Dahl’s 1964 novel. Two film adaptations were made, including that of Tim Burton in 2005. Charlie, a very poor family, loves chocolate and The reference chocolate factory named Wonka , right next door. One day he was lucky enough to get his hands on the fifth and last gold note contained in a branded product, giving the right to a factory visit. Where are the Oompa Loompa, the people of Lilliputians who make chocolate.
Honey, I shrunk the kids
You have almost everything in the title, you know what. To clarify a little anyway: Wayne Szalinski is an original scientist, who tinkers with him and tries stuff. Including a machine to miniaturize the objects, well hidden away from his wife and his two kids, to avoid a dumpling. Of course, Amy and Nick will eventually climb and get shrunk by the machine, with the two neighbor’s kids . The four are found in the garden, in crazy jungle mode. Released in 1989, this Disney had its success with children. Remember who?
The post Movies to watch to feel great, very large first appeared on The Siver Times.

Yes, he’s an actor you’ve seen before! And yes, we speak well of Raymond Cruz, the actor, not of another. Because I see you coming: “Yeah, well all the chicanos have the same roles and the same draw in the movies anyway, frankly it’s hot to know …” We agree, they are often restricted to characters Mafia of low floor, to the caïds of the streets. But not only ! In short, Raymond Cruz is the proof.
Sniper in “Training Day”
One of the members of the gang who sequesters the young Jake (Ethan Hawke), abandoned by his crooked trainer Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington). You can see the scenes again, you always stress. You feel the tension, the malaise, the whore in the place of the poor cop, you perspire with big drop. Notably because of Sniper / Raymond Cruz … The guy seems totally unmanageable, with violent attacks, primitive … An ability to blend into the character that would come from his family environment and his childhood: many uncles and loved ones were part of gangs Of Los Angeles, and he grew bathed in the clashes. With the bonus the vision of a guy shot in the head in front of him, with the skull exploding, twelve pins.
Julio Sanchez in “The Closer” and “Major Crimes”
As a detective this time, on the other side of the barrier. The suit, the tie, the air (a little) less aggressive … For several seasons, the series works well and the character of Julio Sanchez interests. Even intrigue. This is a sequel to a spin-off, called Major Crimes, in which one plunges into the detective’s past, in order to understand what motivates, trains and influences him . Fans liked, of course, Raymond Cruz too. “This shows how far we have been with this character and it is a just reward. It was beautiful .”
Ariel Castro in “Cleveland Abduction”
A TV movie that few of us will have seen, or just heard about. Logic. As for the fact of which he is inspired, you are necessarily aware of it. Remember in 2013, a certain Ariel Castro, a guy from Cleveland, who had sequestered three girls? On 6 May they had been found alive, and their abductor had gone to jail. Kidnapped in 2002, 2003 and 2004, the poor victims spent between 11 and 9 years in the cellar of the sick … Until the day when Amanda Berry alerts a neighbor of his cries, then another, and put an end to that. Raymond Cruz said: “It took me a month, afterwards, to get over it, move on, cut me off.” Like what, playing bastard is not necessarily easy.
Domingo Chavez in “Clear and present danger”
And he had to fight hard for that role! The casting manager did not want to receive it, give her, her chance, certain that it did not stick. Then Cruz motivated his agent, who called directly to the producers and he showed up at the audition . And boom, he bluffed the woman in question, redo it before another manager and bingo. A small role, like all his tafs of the 90s (including appearances in Steven Seagal’s films like Out for Justice and Under Siege), but a role managed as an ace. He was playing a sniper with the shitty character that was tapping on his superior’s system, and was not listening.
Distephano in “Alien: resurrection”
A real turning point. After the small roles (seen above), sometimes not even credited, the actor finally takes the edge! Finally a bit of actor scred ‘! In this movie, he plays a soldier and not just any one . Not the troufion that gets hit in ten seconds! Well, he dies anyway, but last, aboard the Auriga station. And after showing all the talent he has, what Jean-Pierre Jeunet had detected. The French director had rewritten the script to give more space to Cruz, fan of the actor.
Eladio Buente in “X-Files”
A sign of fate. Appearing in an episode of Season 4, as Chupacabra, Raymond Cruz takes just one more role. A role that seemed to him a snack, moreover, that he managed to camp by thinking that it was real , not just science fiction. In short, the important thing is his meeting with Vince Gilligan, the one who will write and produce Breaking Bad thereafter. The work pays, in the long run. So who remembers to have seen it now?
The post Yes you had already seen Tuco, and not it is not that a mexican villain more first appeared on The Siver Times.

We often hear that young people watch more series than films. Except for those stories there, whose format has evolved the other way.
Nothing is lost, everything is transformed ! On the one hand, the matter is already there, we agree. The plot, the characters, their links, the important events … Nevertheless, the writing is not the same, between a series composed of multiple episodes and a good feature film in one go. We’ll have to ask the guys who dealt with these transitions to find out more. In any case, to say that one watches only series is exaggerated and one proves it by showing the examples where we look at cinematographic versions of what our parents were watching on TV .
Scooby-Doo
Distributed from 1969 to 1970 on CBS, the original series “Scooby-Doo, where are you?” Had introduced the four adolescent hunters of supernatural mysteries, aboard their van. More than forty years later, in 2002, a film was released with Freddie Prinze Junior and Sarah Michelle Gellar in particular. Well, well, it was not crazy . Some funny moments of course, nothing crazy despite everything. Our parents were lucky again. It was really better before.
Charlie and his funny ladies (Charlie’s Angels in VO)
Another thing that connects us to our parents. Or who differentiates us! At the time of its first broadcast between 1976 and 1981, the series stunned ABC. Normal, seeing three women played the main roles were not usual, far from it! The girl power and comedy-sexy side was out of the ordinary, with a success to the key. The film with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu respects the delirium but it does not have the same flavor. The idea is necessarily less transgressive today, it is certain. After, question pognon, it goes because a sequel was still released on the big screen three years later, in 2003.
Starsky and Hutch
Go and find out why, you were singing that when you were a kid: “Starsky and Hutch, tininininin …” Surely a shot of the daron, or an uncle if not. No need to be Sherlock Holmes, the series was broadcast between 1975 and 1979 on ABC, so we can eliminate the possibility of having seen it live. It’s just that our elders have gravely kissed the two casual Bay City detectives, who were strutting in Starsky’s Gran Torino under the California sun. A buddy series that gave a buddy movie in 2004, displaying Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as shock acolytes. Film not crazy that brought back the pennies he owed, so it passes.
The fugitive (The Fugitive in VO)
Attention, magic wand! From a series of 120 episodes, each of a duration of 51 minutes, boom: a 2-hour film. Obviously, the plot is not as much developed between Dr. Richard Kimble and police officer Samuel Gerard. Between the two, too, many years: 30, to be precise . The series was on ABC from 1963 (until 1967) while the film with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones squatted the cinema in 1993.
The Untouchables (The Untouchables in VO)
Probably the best adaptation, to credit Brian de Palma. Stretched over four highly fictional seasons (between 1959 and 1963), the original series on ABC focused more on the sides than the real fight against the prohibition of agent Eliot Ness. The 1987 film, where the agent is incarnated by Kevin Costner and the mafioso Al Capone by Robert De Niro, made much better the very special functioning of the economy in this era. Critical and commercial success, the feature film even brought back a trophy for the best supporting role to Sean Connery . Let us confirm all the same the basis: the works were both based on the memories of Eliot Ness and Oscar Fraley.
The Brady Tribe (The Brady Bunch in VO)
The least known of the lot, no doubt! Also broadcast on American ABC between 1969 and 1974, this series showed our parents the hectic life of a family of six children, with its share of parallel or cross stories. A nice thing, which does not break three legs to a duck and will even be canceled after five seasons. Before being taken with humor in a parodic film and successful in 1995 . The creators have just played on the old school side of the series, amplified it, made fun of it, while including us in delirium.
Impossible mission
And hop, second successful challenge for Brian de Palma! Because his film showing us Tom Cruise in BG mode in 1996 is well inspired by the series that CBS was rocking between 1966 and 1973 (and ABC, between 88 and 90). But evolution is obvious: more actions! The real and the actor have pushed the trick: one of the secret agents finds himself trapped by a mole, which puts to him the murders of the rest of the team on the back. Tom Cruise aka Ethan Hunt must then identify him, and it will move! Much more than during the five seasons when boss Dan Briggs said: “This band will self-destruct in …” Moreover, the actors of the series were in rageous mode, after the success of the film. One imagines their reaction after the sequels (a sixth film arrives in 2018).
The post Our parents matted the series, we film, it’s the world upside down first appeared on The Siver Times.

Not that it was a daube and you got pissed off. On the contrary, you were thorough. But stressed, disgusted, shocked. With at times the desire to unbolt.
The kind of films for which you have to be motivated. Psychologically, you need to know what you’re doing, or you’re hallucinating. In any case, there are passages in which you do not make the evil one, where you repress a little squeal of embarrassment, disgust. Or you laugh, unconscious reflex to hide your discomfort. And if these films really make you want to vomit, it is because they are successful. Quality. Because that was the goal.
Saw 1 (yes, there are sequels too, if you’re hot)
Right from the start, you know it’s going to be a pain. Two guys are attached to the pipes in a bathroom, it stinks. Afterwards, you discover that they are placed there by a serial killer, named the puzzle killer. The vicelard pushes his victims to kill each other, or to bump into trying to escape from his traps . There, clearly, Lawrence hears on his tape that he must kill the other, Adam. It lasts a long time, mingled with flashbacks of previous victims (burnt alive, cut, disembowelled, etc.) and the family of Lawrence kidnapped … It is disgusting physically and psychologically.
——- 1 ——–
It happened close to you
You make the big difference between the scenes where you want to laugh and the others, where you swallow hard. For Ben does not only talk with enthusiasm and elegance (of everything else, from life to architecture), he also kills. He manipulates people, their lying, stumbling, without blinking . And it turns out a bit necrophilic at a time, anyway … Beside that, the game of little Gregory, it’s good kid. Even the skulls explode. Everything goes, compared to that. Apparently less shocking than the others on the list, at least visually, this film still remains hated by some for what it says and lets understand. A film that makes talk anyway.
——- 2 ——–
Hostel (the same, there are suites)
The holidays between friends who turn bad, damn bad. And it’s not even their fault! Josh and Paxton cross Europe and kiss as much as possible, just like the Finn Oli that our two Ricans meet. The three spin in the Netherlands, then in Slovakia, on the advice of a guy promising them that girls are pretty and not fierce. And bim, the trap! Kidnapping, torture, and tutti quanti . Blood, close-ups, macabre games, stress scenes. Even at the cinema, with 200 people, you are not serene.
——- 3 ——–
Cannibal Holocaust
The basic pitch seems normal. Four American reporters have faded into the jungle, and not just any, the Amazon rainforest. A rescue team is sent to find and rescue them. And there … Already, the report was about cannibalistic tribes, then the potential muddle is there . Harold Monroe and his two guides are seen to have an Indian translator who mediates with the natives. Except that this one, Yacumo, violates and kills his wife, guilty of adultery. And the other part of the film, these are the adventures of the group of the disappeared, who are actually dead. When Monroe discovers the reels and dies the images … Tortoise cut, leg cut off from a guy, murder of a woman giving birth, emasculation of a corpse, cannibalism … You see all the horrors possible and imaginable.
——- 4 ——-
Serbian film
The intermittent status in Serbia, fucking, is another thing … Milos, former star of the X, galley to make ends meet. He and his family are unhappy, in addition to being looked at wrong. Then one day, a former colleague introduces Vukmir, a very special filmmaker … For the thunes, Milos darkens. But in a pile of disgusting stuff . In three words: rape, necrophilia, pedophilia. That’s enough to understand what is waiting for you. And what awaits Milos, especially. Obviously, the film is banned in many countries.
——- 5 ——-
The Human Centipede (there are sequences, if possible)
A nugget (of its kind) that comes to us from the Netherlands. Script and production of Tom Six. Afterwards, it remains to be seen whether we should thank him or not … As in “Hostel”, we are swinging two American tourists who come to Europe and fall on a bone. The bone is Dr. Joseh Heiter, a former German surgeon, who plans to develop a human centipede . Yesiiii, nooooormal. The two girls, Lindsay and Jenny, break a tire, seek help and ring home. Bad pick. They will form a set with Katsuro, all three connected, mouth to anus. And the tart plays with them. 92 minutes of dirty tricks, which have never been visible on the big screen at home, for lack of visa exploitation. What is the worst of the lot?
The post These movies that make you gerber, literally first appeared on The Siver Times.

As they say: “think out of the box”. You surprised me, well “out” there, nobody would have thought. And there was probably a reason, to tell the truth.
Being free, creative is good. Too much is dangerous. It is like everything, in excess, it loses all its usefulness and the misdeeds replace by the benefits. And who is it that suffers the consequences? Bibi (well, we, but will know how we say bibi in the first person plural). Appearance: movies based on wtf ideas.
The attack of the killer tomatoes
Mutated tomatoes decide to conquer the Earth. To eradicate humanity. They attack everything: swimmers in the sea, drivers on the road, pedestrians in the street … Kind of parody reference to the films of series B, we know at least that the guys did not take themselves seriously. And fortunately !
Pixels
If I tell you there’s Adam Sandler in it, you start guessing the genre of the movie? A fucking guy, who always hangs around with his friends, and something interesting happens to them. This is alright Aliens who discover videos of old arcade games, which Sam and his bros played in the 80s . Vexed, they take it for a provocation, a declaration of war itself. Then the Aliens attack the Earth! So, motivation, Sam & co, whose Cooper who became president (yes yes, of the United States), will still save the planet. This time in real life! Against Pac-Man, Donkey Kong …
Sharknado
Nothing goes to LA A hurricane very bad scales sharks on the city, and it is the box . No way to walk quietly, there are attacks in all directions. End, surfer with the big heart, decides to brave the risks to go to save his ex-wife and the daughter of this one. Accompanied by two friends and his waitress (Fin holds a refreshment bar on the beach), Baz and Nova, they will ensure.
Theodore Rex
The time when Whoopi Goldberg could do anything and everything, people go and see him. Well almost ! Here in police officer, Katie Coltrane (the name of his character) forms team with … a tyrannosaur . The famous Theodore Rex. Recreated genetically by scientists, endowed with intelligence and speech, he investigates with her on the murders of other dinosaurs. Normal. Strangely, the test projections were failures and the film was released directly on video, without going through the cinema box. People still respect a minimum.
Rubber
A tire moves on its own. Well, let’s admit. And he kills people. Okay, it’s already spinning a bit. How? It would be the subject of psychokinetic powers, that is, an object mentally influenced by an unknown mechanism or energy. In the middle of the Californian desert, Robert (Yeah, the tire has a first name) rolls and attacks, relentlessly, animals and humans . Secondary plot: spectators watch the actors, who play this bizarre spectacle. A little mise en abyme for the road, to chiader a little thing. Written, directed and edited by Quentin Dupieux (aka Mr Oizo, who also made the soundtrack, normal).
Swiss Army Man
Hank walks alone on a deserted island. Depressed, suicidal, isolated, he goes crazy. Especially when he discovers the body of a former soldier, drowned, with whom he begins a very special friendship . Mi-tool, half-friend, this one serves him to do everything. Completely perched, the story shows surprising Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe in an independent film. Who has ever seen and loved one of these films?
The post Without illicit products, how are these ideas of films born serious? first appeared on The Siver Times.

You have to be honest and recognize that it sometimes takes catastrophic turns, that it is painful for everyone. A galley, what.
At the time, some of my comrades would have shouted: “PLE, PLE”. A simple acronym meaning: dodge plan. That is to say, it was better not to participate in the sombre project that presented itself. At random, a mathematics course. Or an evening can be.
Troy
To see for those who want to appreciate the beautiful Brad Pitt in skirt and yelling “Yeah, there is immortality waiting for us” with much less charisma than Gerald Butler in “300”. Finally, I say that … In short, to come to the fact, just before they turn the scene before the fort, this one was blown by a bastard hurricane . Vener, they had to rebuild everything. Then, it was the security guards on the board who were stealing tricks to round off the end of the month. Letting it be understood that the salary was too low and that it was necessary to find combinations.
Blade Runner
Based on the book “Do androids dream electronic sheep” by Philip K. Dick, the film had to wait a long time before possessing a square and clear scenario. A pack of writers and directors tackled it and broke their teeth, before Ridley Scott began filming. End of the galleys? Nope! The English filmmaker was constantly hammering with Harrison Ford, as well as with the film crews in general . So much so that these had printed t-shirts with the inscription: “Yes Governor my ass …”
The Conqueror
Well then we put it because it sticks to the theme but it is much less fun. For the moment, a little restraint … Bringing the story of Genghis Khan to the screen, the film was filmed near a nuclear test site . Under the advice of the government, like “go there guys, you are told that there is no galley!” Noone, so much so that 91 members developed a cancer thereafter, including 46 deaths … In the first row of which the director, the main actress and John Wayne himself. And you are spared other bad things.
Fantastic Four
Crash in full flight for director Josh Trank. The guy proudly announced that he was going to kill the game with phrases like “My movie will be better than 99% of the superhero movies . ” Except that the 20th Century Fox did not validate all his delusions, that he had to change and do a lot of tricks. So he was venerated. And some actors were then a little busy to return scenes, a big galley. In the end, Josh complained, still on Twitter, that the film released was much worse than it should have been . So hop, Star Wars project that passes under his nose and killed career.
The Shining
It was notorious that turning with Stanley Kubrick proved to be painful. Finally, under his orders, rather. Obsessive, unlimited, he always asked his actors more. Finally, demanded. Thus, every day, he changed the scenes, modified them, adapted them. And above all, it multiplied the catch! The scene where Wendy retreats down the stairs of the hall, with baseball bat in hand, would have been shot after 127 takes . The two main actors (including Jack Nicholson, the drunken drunk husband) were certifying that this was their toughest part of their career. And Shelly Duvall / Wendy suffered hair loss on the plateau due to stress.
Abyss
Stevie had an idea and he did not let go. His intrigue was in the water. It took a lot. Yeah, a lot. Genus 10 million galleons, in all. And not to dip, to the cool. People worked more than 70h / week to shoot the film. Ed Harris and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio have also cracked nervously, tired . A nervous breakdown, as they say. Ed Harris was so marked that he refused years of talking about the film for years. In traumatized mode, bad memory. Frankly, sometimes there’s way to crack anyway?
The post Turning a film is not always a sinecure first appeared on The Siver Times.

Roberto Baggio, Alessandro Del Piero, Marco Verratti and so on. Yes, it is true, we can thank the Italians. Pavarotti, Botticelli … Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo … In short, in all fields, from the most to the least cultural and advised to shine in society, they are there. Especially in the history of cinema.
The dolce Vita
When it was released in 1960, it was scandal and vandal dance (sense of where the heat comes …). Basically, Federico Fellini’s film was accused of showing a society of debauchees and idlers through its many episodes during which one follows a journalist to people in Rome. All week long, the guy spends more time and energy to work than to work . In search (unsuccessful) of love. In a society that is still very religious and practicing, there are squeaks. In the end, Palme d’Or of the Cannes festival and mythical work.
Cheetah
Nothing to do with the feline, let’s clear that straight. In this case, the term refers to an aristocrat, in ancient Italy in the mid-19th century. Here it is Don Fabrizio Salina who notes the end of an era and the rise of the new bourgeoisie . A passing torch not so obvious, and the opportunity to take stock, calmly, of his life. Softly huh, since it lasts 3:30. And yeah, adaptation of a novel my friend. Little more for us French: the presence of BG Alain Delon, in the person of Tancred, the nephew. And yes, Palme d’Or, in 1963.
Once upon a time the revolution
Already known and recognized, Sergio Leone we still swing a spaghetti western in full face and we like it. The year 1971 then peacefully unfolds his days, when he emerges his eighth realization, the sixth alone and officially. In Mexico, we discover a kind of buddy movie before the hour, where a diligence plunderer meets an expert in explosives before continuing the project of pointing a bank together . The references are numerous (the scene of the shooting of the revolutionaries imitates the painting of Francisco de Goya Tres de Mayo, for example) and the BO tears. With Ennio Morricone with the controllers, inevitably, it handles.
The Gospel according to St. Matthew
Not necessarily long, a little more than 2h, but in black and white. And above all, a rather serious re-enactment of the gospel, so it’s not the thing where you can stall fat jokes and see pursuit races. Pier Paolo Pasolini reveals Christianity as it is written, faithfully and religiously. And it’s beautiful. Additional argument: it avoids reading the gospel, you gain time . What might not have been the case if the guy had shot the 131 scenes originally planned in the screenplay! Finally 44, a good difference. Probably a wise decision.
The Swagger
A stroll through the Roman suburbs, its countryside and the surrounding seaside during the summer period. Dino Risi takes us on a journey of great beauty (the plans perfectly reflect the landscapes of the area) as he gives us his point of view on the economic miracle of Italy in the 60s . Because behind this road-movie where Vittorio Gassman is as exuberant, free and joyful as Jean-Louis Trintignant is austere, serious and stuck, it is the emptiness of material well-being that is demonstrated to us. It’s cool, it’s funny, but it means above all that the human being is and will remain alone. Whatever happens. A little classic before going to bed tonight?
The post In addition to good food, they make good films: and if the Italians were good people? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Released in 1997, with Joel Schumacher on the controls, the film had made a flop. Not much met expectations. The proof with these anecdotes.
Time is still working. With hindsight, it is possible to laugh at everything. If so, really. The director, the actors, the spectators: everyone has had time to digest the disappointment and we can talk about it quietly. Including these things, by turns surprising, embarrassing, amusing.
George Clooney made muscu by wearing his costume
Interpreting the role of Bruce Wayne / Batman, the future DILF (according to women, apparently), Georgie was lugging tens of pounds on her back during the shoot. The rubber suit weighed alone 23 kg. It’s manageable, we agree. Except that you add the cape, weighing 18 kg. And there, it’s more the same game! And the worst thing was that he had so much gallanty to remove it, that he frequently did not have time to get to the pits of comfort, we will say.
Very few Batman master plans
If you look good, you’ll see that most of the time Batman is framed to the legs … and not below. From the close-up on the Italian face up to mid-thighs, passing by the chest, waist and American plans, one sees it well. Except his feet! Aber warum? Simply because Clooney wore as little as possible his boots . He wanted to be flex to walk around or play basketball on the set. So, hop, feigned the Armorican, we do not frame down. Unhealthy assassin (in this case Joel Schumacher)!
Coolio as an actor rather than a rapper
So in full hype, notably thanks to his title “Gangsta’s Paradise” released two years earlier (1995), the rapper appears in the film, as Banker. This apparition surprised. But what is even more surprising is that the native of Compton did not contribute to the soundtrack of the film. What did not prevent this one from being sacred platinium disk and to constitute the major success of the film. Thanks to The Smashing Pumpkins, REM, R. Kelly or Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Go to the room can pay big, watch Schwarzenegger
We all know the course of the Austrian, who took as a model a bodybuilder from his adolescence before becoming Mister Universe and reaping roles in cinema, on the other side of the Atlantic. For the role of Doctor Victor Fries aka Mr Freeze, Joel Schumacher wanted a big and strong actor . Here is a rather simplistic portrait-robot. So the choice was obvious: Schwarzy. Only things to accept: shave your head, wear blue contact lenses and support the glitter on your body. When you pay $ 25M in exchange, you do it. Everyday. That pays off the annual dues, I think.
Clooney has not kiffe
But not at all. And nothing at all. Neither his performance nor the film as a whole . Ugly horrible fright, for George. Regarding him, he said he had “ruined the franchise” . As for the film, he had not gone there either: “a loss of money” or “a disaster” . After, of necessity, when you have pissed on it several times because of the costume, you are necessarily a little jaded. In any case, it will not be resumed there.
Failure attested
All other films received nominations for the Awards. The best direction for “Batman The Challenge”, special effects and makeup for “Batman Returns”, photography, music and special effects for “Batman Forever” … And for this one? A slew of Razzie Awards nominations! Worst film, director, remake or suite, couple, second roles (masculine and feminine). Balance: a good big misfire, and a 73rd place in the Allociné list of the worst movies of all time.
Plans abound on … buttocks and nipples
Will know why, guys have multiplied the (big) plans on some very specific parts of the anatomy of the characters. So, ok, they were well molded in their costume, well developed. The air sharp, trimmed. This does not mean that the camera should be attached to the buttocks and nipples at the slightest opportunity. The shooting may have fallen during a special period for the director and his assistants … Failing to be interesting, this film is at least funny, is not it?
The post If ever a buddy balances that a Batman movie is tearing inevitably, temp it with this info on “Batman and Robin” first appeared on The Siver Times.

What ? It is clear: the hero manages his race, without having super powers and leaving Marvel or DC. Come on, the examples to explain all that.
Great powers involve great responsibilities. Small powers also, sometimes, when something falls on you and you have to get out, with your means. Which can potentially make you a super hero, when you solve everything, remaining a normal man. But not trivial. Here are the movies you have to look for.
Men in black
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones interpret two secret agents, hired by a secret agency, to control the arrival and the acts of extraterrestrials on earth. Representing and practicing the law, facing not only aliens but also well-motivated terrorists and enemies, J and K are very close to The Shield . At the same time, the film is inspired by a comic, then inevitably. But here we have two men, not superheroes.
Harry Potter
Again a possible comparison with a superhero movie, released recently. Dr. Strange, in this case. Harry, like him, is born with the ability to resort to magic and mysticism . However, Harry does not master it, must learn from mentors, grow up. Not to mention his somewhat arrogant and archi confident side in him, as Dr Strange, again. He crossed the galleys with the little magician, with his friends, in front of Voldemort and company. And he goes on, always.
Stop me if you can
Indeed, Frank Abagnale Jr is not a superhero at the base. Dude everything that is more normal physically, mat. But corones and a genius in imposture and falsification that has fooled dozens of people for years. Pilot, doctor, lawyer, counterfeiter … He ends up attracting the attention of the cops and one takes care to run it. As in Captain America: the winter soldier.
Kill Bill
A classic of Tarantino in which he pays homage to the martial arts and the Japanese cinema that he loves so much. With Uma Thurmann in the title role, a stylish soundtrack, gore scenes and a revenge story . Grosso merdo, Deadpool has some points in common with this film. Although the character of Ryan Reynolds is much more caustic and funny, more childish. One thing is for sure: if you liked the fight scenes in Deadpool, then you’ll love Kill Bill. Even without super powers, you will have understood that do not shit La Mariée / Beatrix Kiddo / Black Mamba.
Inception
Some will say that it is capillo-tracté but not at all. Precisely, Cobb resembles us in every respect, it is a simple human. Which does not prevent him from having enormous responsibilities and to be the key to the future , like Bruce Wayne. All in a heavy, stressful, rather black atmosphere, with a BO that takes you to the guts and crazy images of a city. As in the Batman trilogy also directed by Christopher Nolan.
Kingsman
In the footsteps of Eggsy, a young British delinquent, one discovers the secret world of the spies formed by the Crown. A surprising trajectory, an out-of-the-ordinary will, corrosive humor, super well-executed combat scenes, and a parody of spy films so successful that it becomes a reference to his way. Who sees resemblance? With Kick-Ass! Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn (who did both), and are based on Mark Millar comics (signed by Icon Comics). Who’s going to make a movie now?
The post Films that show a superhero that is not really one but that manages so much that it is a little one anyway first appeared on The Siver Times.

It is the beauty of cinema. As long as your scenes have a meaning and influence on the story, it’s open bar. So you can see love stories on a fantastic background.
There are no rules. Or rather, we must know how to surpass them, circumvent them, transcend them. It is risky indeed, but the game is worth the candle. When it works, it gives us a nice movie to watch . Without being pleasing to everyone (it is impossible mission, but without James Bond), these films remain examples.
Wandering souls
Film, cinema, fantasy, love, story, woman, man, relationship, complicated, joy, sorrow, tear, loves, Twilight
——- 1 ——-
Sublimes créatures
Another adapted work of a book, finally of several I should say, the saga Beautiful Creatures of Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia. In summary, Ethan is a young high school student who gets her shit in the middle of nowhere in the southern States, until Lena arrives . The trick is that the mysterious phenomena multiply as soon as it arrives then it is rather badly seen. Except by Ethan, coquinou, who wants to know more. He will discover his secret, which will necessarily impact their love story. Suspense.
——- 2 ——-
Twilight
Come on, I’ll let you guess: from a book or not? Surprise … yes! And since there was matter, bah there was film. Finally, of the film, what. Five, to be precise. To avoid summarize badly, early enough: Bella moves in with her father in Forks and falls madly in love with Edward, a guy his age . But brothel of God’s name: he’s a vampire. Like all his family. So what ? Bella likes it, will be accepted by (almost) all. Then there will be ups and downs, obstacles … And ahead Guingamp, you have five movies to watch.
——- 3 ——-
Cinderella
A classic since the Disney animated movie dating back to 1951. And like any good self-respecting classic, it never dies. Thus, in 2015, a new version was proposed to the public, with Helena Bonham-Carter and Cate Banchett. Still. And the story of this poor Cinderella, as nice as nice, that life does not spare, as we always moves . With the Prince who would do anything for her, unlike her vicious mother-in-law and her two-half-sister bastards.
——- 4 ——-
Adaline
Already, note the original first name. Yes, this is the name of the lady. Then it is fortunate not to age: born in 1908, it still in great shape and always looks as young and beautiful a hundred years later . Except that she is not convinced that this is a chance, she dares to enjoy and build a love story. The struggle of reason against feelings.
——- 5 ——-
The beauty and the Beast
To change, it is an adaptation of Gabrielle-Suzanne de Villeneuve’s tale, dating back to 1740. We are talking about the film released in 2014, with Léa Seydoux and Vincent Cassel. If you have the lazy to download it (legally, of course), you can expect the next adaptation planned this year. Basically: a family in galley part in the campaign, took refuge in a castle to avoid a snowstorm, and daron is confused by the domain owner, a beast . Condemned to death, outright. But one of his daughters, Belle, turns the head of my Beast and sacrifices himself. Slowly but surely, they get to know each other. And Belle will want to save the Beast, in fact a cursed Prince for his past not jojo. Which do you prefer?
The post Having feelings is fantastic, so there are fantastic films full of feelings, logical first appeared on The Siver Times.

It sounds stupid but it’s actually complicated. We must avoid the classic “How are you called? “, Bring something more fun to see. The techniques.
Use a conversation where more than two people participate
From the outset, one avoids the face to face classic and relou described in the intro. There, with at least three people discussing, it is enough to have the name of a character spoken and to point the camera towards him . And hop, at least one identified! Kind of scred ‘, of course, like: “By the way, Bernard, what do you think about it?”
Show character name
Another feint. Rather than say it, make it heard, we must mount it, make it see. Via a plaque on the door of his office, an inscription on his professional card, a letter addressed to him … or even squarely an advertising display as for Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad.
Create a waiting scene where their name is necessarily given
Like us, when we go to the doctor, the hairdresser, to an interview or any other official appointment. The character will be there, waiting to be called, wisely, and so will be his name . On the other hand, it is necessary to give a minimum of meaning to the scene. Otherwise, we’re gonna be shit …
Use mobile phone calls and messages
Here is an idea that it is good. In addition, it is the image of our everyday life so it will seem perfectly natural. When you call someone, you usually introduce yourself . Question of politeness, already, and common sense, then, if not the other at the end of the wire will grieve to understand what you want, why … Concerning texting, it is even simpler. Simply film the name of the contact indicated on the screen and the trick is played.
Make two characters talk about a nearby third
Not necessarily wrong, in the language of motherfucker. It does not matter, it’s free. Simply, to make a conversation between two characters about a third allows to show the latter. Easy. We have more than making the name-face link . Normally, it is feasible.
Never mention the character’s name
This happens much more often than you think. And what is also less serious and embarrassing than we think. Seriously, you can very well follow the characters, understand the film and debrief after but without knowing his name . You have other means of designating it. In Fight Club, for example, Edward Norton is “the narrator”. That’s all, no name. And many of us did not even realize it.
Make a scene
Both literally and figuratively. In contrast to the previous technique, here we focus on the name and nothing else. So there must of course be a staging, an explanation, that serves the story . These conditions fulfilled, the film can spend two minutes on a name. Like McLovin in Super Grave. So, who feels warm to write a script now that this major problem is resolved?
The post How to give the name of a character without it being all banal and none first appeared on The Siver Times.

At Orange, Bouygues or Darty, among others, you can book the Chinese flagship you will receive on March 24th accompanied by a pack of photo accessories. But when you have it in your hands, it is advisable not to remove the protective film with which it is delivered .. Why? Because apparently, the screen of the Huawei P10 is not designed to resist fat . So it would get dirty very quickly when in contact with fingers, especially during lunch. It needed a small defect to the smartphone whose qualities we boast about.
According to the reporters of Android Police that Phonandroid relayed, the Huawei P10 would not benefit from oleophobic layer (aka allergic to the oil). As a result, it would be particularly sensitive to fatty substances, unlike the film of which it is protected. What would you risk by removing the protection in question? Have a screen so dirty that you would not even want to use it! Admit that it would be a shame, especially for a smartphone that you paid 599 euros. While waiting to receive it at your place, WITH the film therefore , measure your knowledge on the Huawei P10 via the test that has been concocted to you . Disappointed?
The post Huawei P10: Removing its screen protector is a very bad idea! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Yes, as you know meltynautes, this Wednesday, March 8 is an important day as this is International Women’s Day. Many actresses, such as Emma Watson, currently promoted for Beauty and the Beast , dare to say aloud what others are just whispering. It is with strength and conviction that they fight, on a daily basis, to share their opinions. And what better than the support of men to help them in their fight. Whether, Ian Somerhalder, who form an ideal and committed couple with Nikki Reed , Justin Timberlake or Ryan Gosling , These guys do not hide their dissatisfaction with the injustices that women experience every day. A big big up to those male stars who dare to raise their voices to make things change …
Ian Somerhalder
In 2011, the star of The Vampire Diaries took part in the campaign “The Real Men” . He has never hidden his convictions against the differences between men and women. The husband of Nikki Reed had even declared: “Men must disseminate the message that real men do not hurt and do not abuse their partner . ” We simply want to say: THANKS Ian!
Daniel Radcliffe
The actor has always supported Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson. In an interview for ELLE UK , he also expressed his anger at the persistent differences between the two sexes: “It is sad to say that people must claim to be feminists. This step ” . Well no, unfortunately not yet Daniel!
Ryan Gosling
For Ryan Gosling , the question does not even arise. In an interview, he said that feminism was simply part of his life: “I am attracted to films that have strong female characters, there have always been strong women in my life.” My sister was my best friend And as she grew up, she became my hero . ” Ah, what can we love this Ryan!
Justin Timberlake
Like many international stars, singer Justin Timberlake participated in the “Real Men Do not Buy Girls” campaign . The image is self-sufficient! So what do you think of those male stars who are committed to women’s rights?
The post Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake … These guys who are committed to women’s rights! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The biopics are really interesting, in order to have a portrait on a particular person. Including on real gangsters. And here, you’re relieved to be behind your screen.
For once, we do not say, “Wow, I would have loved to know him in truth” . No, once is not custom, life is well made. Your paths have not crossed, thank you. Back on these biopics that made you realize that there are still big tares with whom you do not play cunt .
Mickey Cohen (“Gangster Squad”)
Former boxer turned gangster, Mickey reigns over Chicago. That he considers to be his territory, that’s all. A sensitive hair, very emotional, it tends to see red at the slightest trick … Even surrounded by cops, it does not surrender and launches without doubt. Good mix of calculation and instinct, it was necessary to stop it. The opportunity to see Sean Penn in a taré.
Al Capone (“The incorruptible”)
Using and abusing vindictive remarks, aggressive attitudes and baseball bat (for example), Al Capone leads his career in a masterful way. De Niro makes flipping so much he is possessed, sometimes sensitive, sometimes completely crazy. The cop in front, Eliot Ness, does not have fun everyday facing a guy like that. Because the guy does not just sell alcohol illegally, there’s everything else around …
Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel (“Bugsy”)
Big ugly up in Las Vegas, he runs hotels and plays with the lives of people around. Let them kill them or save them. A self-made man, an entrepreneur with visions, including the one to open a hotel-casino in the desert, “Bugsy” (Warren Beatty) also has a heart since he loves his wife. Problem: he likes to play and take risks. And it is not always very sweet . Neither very discreet, as when he balances several balls in the buffet of a guy, in an office, next to other people who work on the phone, see and hear everything.
Sam “ace” Rothstein (“Casino”)
Still in duet with Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro still delivers a crazy performance. Ugly sent by the Chicago mafia to manage casino Tangiers in Las Vegas, he is a cold-blooded, calculating, intelligent killer . Who knows where he sets foot and warns his acolyte, more subject to the blows of blood. You do not have the right to make mistakes, even as a cook preparing muffins. His empire will grow, the troubles will multiply. That’s the game.
Frank Lucas (“American Gangster”)
A guy who wants to succeed at all costs, to become rich, to have a huge hut, to please his mother … All this, we want to understand. As for the means used, it is necessary to agree to deviate a bit from the rules and morality. To make her biff by transporting heroin in the coffins of the soldiers who died in combat, in Vietnam , one must not only think about it but also dare to do it. At the same time, Frank Lucas dared to stop a guy in the street, in front of everyone.
Henry Hill (“The freedmen”)
He had a goal since his earliest childhood and he accomplished it. It’s beautiful. “As far as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster .” There is no need for guidance counselors or training courses. The street school, the field. Patient, intelligent and deceitful, he made his way without anyone expecting it . Sorry for the deceiver, but the guy was a mine of nothing an FBI informant and swayed fifty gangsters. Not jojo all that. And congratulations to Ray Liotta who happens to shine despite the presence of De Niro, still there in the movies of gangsters. Which mob you fear most?
The post The truands you’re glad you only saw in film and not in real first appeared on The Siver Times.

You surely know “Snatch” of Guy Ritchie, and well this one remains in the same vein. And of the same time. In the shallows, with lascars, to the rather limit-limit behaviors. Here we see four friends collecting all their money to allow the best of them to challenge Harry Lonsdale to the cards . Problem: their champion Eddy is plucked, the game was rigged. He palms everything and the four thugs find themselves in the uncomfortable position of owing money to a big ugly.
——- 2 ——-
The Scam
The film dates a little but did not take a wrinkle. Released in 1973, he had won several awards: photo, screenplay, best director. Then, when you have Robert Redford and Paul Newman at the cast, it’s not disgusting. Inspired by real facts, taking up the misdeeds of real scammers who confided in David Maurer’s book (“The Big Coin”), the film shows us a certain Johnny Hooker tempted the risky shot of the Pigeon Drop. Give his thunes hoping for a return on investment, based on trust. There, Johnny bet $ 11,000 in cash to catch a larger sum afterwards. Obviously, he has in front of a bastard, organized crime boss, Doyle Lonnegan …
——- 3 ——-
Ocean’s Eleven
You want the example of a guy who never stops? Take Danny Ocean. While he is incarcerated, he only thinks of one thing: to point the biggest casinos in Las Vegas . As a project of reconversion and awareness, we saw better. His partner, Rusty Ryan, is hot boiling, so the two companions recruit a shock team. Seen the casting and the realization, you can only love. Without much pretension, you have a lot of fun. The actors too, apparently.
——- 4 ——-
Casino
A classic. Perhaps even THE classic in casino and gaming movies. Sent to Las Vegas by the Chicago Mafia, Sam Rothstein runs a casino and has to make sure that the interests of his clan are respected, protected . Accompanied by his friend, Nicky Santoro, everything rolls. They do biff, they control the city. Then the machine stops. A woman not simple, a stubborn cop, skidding … Another good Scorsese. If you had to retain only one, what would it be?
The post If you’re addicted to gambling, these movies make you relive too many tricks first appeared on The Siver Times.

Before he died at the end of the second film (“Khan’s Wrath”), Spock linked his katra, that is, his soul, to McCoy’s body. So, it happens to Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy to speak with Spock’s voice, to use his own words, when he dreams and his mind is invaded by Spock . Then in the 3 (“In Search of Spock”), the project is clear: recover the body of Spock, regenerate it with the unique properties of the planet Genesis and hop, return to normal. Before the mix in McCoy’s mind would be fatal, it makes him crazy. Perilous mission accomplished, BG.
Voldemort and Quirrell
It’s at the beginning, when Voldemort leaves from a distance. When he does not yet have his own body, always to wander, following the destruction of his physique due to the rebound of his spell on Harry, baby and protected by his mother. Professor Quirrell offers him his body, to be his ship , the time that the-one-must-not-pronounce-the-name does rebuild his own. The two individuals remain very distinct, each speaking to the other, who responds to him, with the front face for Quirrell and Voldemort in the back of the skull. A little chelou but it passes.
Onslaught
During a fight, Magneto cuts out Wolverine in all directions and removes the adamantium from his bones. Professor X wants to intervene, it falls into Magneto’s mind to calm him … and finds himself merge with him. The two mutants give Onslaught, a second personality in Xavier , of which he himself does not seem to be aware. Powers of power, an enormous size, the swallowing of two other characters (Nate Gray, Franklin Richards), it goes away. Fortunately, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four were there.
The composite Superman
Still the result of a mad scientist. Professor Ivo cloned the entire members of the League of Justiciers but it is a little gone. Result: Super-super-powerful super-villain, with the appearance of Superman and Batman . Their costumes, their faces, and even their personal private lives. Why these two? For each one had intervened in the battles of the other, interposing between one and his enemies.
The superior Spiderman
When Doc Ock dies with a slow fire, he decides to exchange body with Peter Parker. Without really concerting the latter, of course. Not completely con, not victim to the end, Peter leaves his memories and his moral attached to his body . This changes the personality of Octavius, always intelligent and ambitious, but now influenced by the cravings of Spiderman. Then he takes up the challenge, some time. Before cracking, too tempted, one day, and returning his body to Peter Parker. Frankly, it’s still not bad when the mix goes well?
The post Hat, these fusions of characters were successful while it is well snack first appeared on The Siver Times.

So we will take refuge behind this (very practical) expression to find an excuse and present this in a positive way. Because, yes, we have already criticized a film by accusing it of incoherence when it was simply us who ration a detail , a justification, a logical element. Better late than never, we can do our mea culpa here and now.
Star Wars: the awakening of strength
Leia leads the resistance, but against whom? Against what ? The Empire was destroyed so there is no longer any opponent to resist. Whatever ! The new senators of the republic look up at Leia … For they do not believe in the existence of the First Order, composed of the few survivors of the Empire . But this one will grow, and Leia has done well to set up a private military group.
Mom I missed the plane
In the beginning, we are told that a tree fell and damaged the phone lines of the house where Kevin found himself. And we see her mother galley to join her, from Paris. Normal. Then we see Kevin ordering pizzas, tranquillou. WTF? In fact, the tree could very well have made impossible the long distance links without doing the same on the local calls. The operator AT & T confirmed it, it was totally possible with the functioning of the time.
Batman VS Superman: The Dawn of Justice
Superman is supposed to be able to hear everything, to perceive everything. So why does not he use his super power to hear his mother, know where Lex Luthor hid it? It’s true brothel, it is con or it is con! In fact, if he had tried, he would have heard everything. All. So all the murmurs of the city, the complaints of everyone … So finally, it would be inaudible. And he would become mad, disturbed by all his voices. This is in any case the explanation of director Zack Snyder, who claimed to have shot a scene like this but have deleted it.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Okay it’s funny and it moves, but why did they leave the mine in the wagon anyway? ‘ Frankly, was not it simpler? Well, no, actually. If one looks carefully , when the released kid gets through the area caressed by the lava, he does it on a wooden board . However, it catches fire before the others can use it as well. Hence the roller coaster after, in the wagon!
pulp Fiction
We all remember the scene where Vincent tells that a bastard scratched his case. Voluntarily. Shocked, he does not understand that anyone can do that. We think this is a dialogue like that, just to fix a funny scene . Now, when you put the scenes back in chronological order, you understand that it was Butch who avenged himself, after their rather tense meeting at the bar.
Pacific Rim
What do they expect from God? Without dismay, if Mako and Raleigh had used the sword earlier, the problem would have been settled much more quickly and easily. But no, wait until the last moment … Stop: no, it’s not just to shit and the movie lasts longer . There is a reason given during the television news: the blood of the monster is toxic and will contaminate the water of the ocean. This is designated by Kaiju Blue. Who had not taken good and well all the time?
The post In fact these films are coherent and one should not have doubted them first appeared on The Siver Times.

First information: yes, they were really in pants. Seriously, there are other nice things to know about this slap we took at the time.
Nearly ten years to the day. The film was released in France on March 21, 2007, and yeah! We had made an appointment in ten years, but better to be ahead than to be late. In short, to celebrate this, here are some anecdotes about the film of Zack Snyder, adapted from comic Frank Miller. Your next evening, you can do a little “Did you know?” Special 300, to tell you a little . If we do not lather ourselves, who is going to do it eh?
Normally, all Spartans wore a feathered helmet …
… And not only their leader, in this case King Leonidas, interpreted by Gerard Butler. Why should we depart from facts and history? Simply to make the protagonist easier to identify , especially during (many) combat scenes. So the director Zack Snyder found this technique as simple as it was effective. Come on, it’s a good reason.
The actors followed a sacred program to be also stock
Even if you’re part of the so-called sportsmen, typing your abs and, or, pumps every morning, going to run regularly, going on a bike ride on weekends, dropping, you’re away. The actors had to train four hours a day for seven months (6h even for Butler), under the direction of a physical trainer, without any day’s rest. And food level, misery … Michael Fassbender reported that he ate only almonds and fresh cheese curd.
Respect for land and animals
Okay, ok, I’m expanding the line but frankly, we can emphasize the efforts made . Instead of producing more kilos of plastic to create the weapons, the producers have recovered a good part of the films “Alexander” and “Troy”. As for the animals, no horse was injured or maltreated during the film.
From taf level costume, mine of nothing
One could have believed the opposite, to see the guys walking in panties and three times nothing on the body. Wrong! Leonidas owned 17 helmets , Xerxes 33 facial decorations, and overall, there was a team of more than 60 people who worked full time to create more than 600 costumes, necessary from the beginning to the end of the film.
An efficient shoot
In two months it was torched. But not like you and me when we do the dishes, eh. Not the quick done wrong. Did you see the end result? Clean . And all that in 60 days. This allowed to limit the costs and only clicked $ 69M. Another rare fact, the shooting was chronological, in the order of scenes and history.
The Spartan women really let go of this sentence …
“Come back with their shield .” Either, “Come back with their shield, or on yours” , in VF (I know you understand, I just have to do it, take it personally). This is the sentence pronounced by the Queen when Leonidas goes to confront the Persians , and it corresponds exactly to that of the Spartan women when they saw their husband and son going to fight. Basically, slash them and bring back their shield, or come back on yours. For the man killed with dignity in battle was brought back on his shield by his comrades.
Spartans are the real first hipsters
If you look good, only Astinos does not wear the beard. All the others are not shaved up close like him, completely beardless limit. And that’s normal, because shaving in the Spartans was a dishonor . Only an extreme case justified him: to be in mourning.
If your parents call you Ephialtes, it is because they do not love you too much
Just by referring to the film already, you are not super happy. To be compared to a hunchback with hardly engaging face, a scraping off, no thank you. And when you dig a little, you learn that it means “nightmare” . And in Greece, Ephialtes rhymes with traitor. Truthful. So, you want to see him again?
The post Shooting and historical truth: small anecdotes about the movie “300” first appeared on The Siver Times.
