The Flash Season 3: Our top 3 episodes of the season!

While the season 4 of The Flash will not be broadcast until next October, return on the three best episodes of season 3!
We take stock! Yes, the meltynauts, if the third one of the show has sometimes been uneven, the fact remains that several episodes have marked us enormously. While the series will unfortunately not return before the re-entry on the CW , it’s time to go back on the episodes that have transported this year . While Melty was writing to find out who could play DeVoe in Season 4 of The Flash with Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries) or Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) , here are our top 3 episodes of the season !
3 / Cause and Effect (3×21)
This episode marked a small pause in the heavy intrigue between Savitar and The Flash. If it served essentially to delay the confrontation of the two enemies, it had the merit to offer us a good breath of fresh air just before the last two episodes much more serious. It must be said that we laughed on discovering that Cisco had erased Barry’s memory by accident and that the latter now had a blissful air and a lightness that was unfamiliar to him. Under the frivolous surroundings, this episode showed us the path traveled by our hero who seemed to finally accept his suffering and move on. Above all, we realized that even if Barry was happy, he was unfortunately the Barry we knew and loved.
2 / Paradox (3×02)
If the Season premiere had somewhat disappointed the fans, the second episode was very intense. We discovered the new Timeline created by our hero and it was clear that he had put a damn mess in the lives of his relatives. For the first time, Barry appeared as the villain of his own story, who had not hesitated to show selfishness by bringing his mother back without worrying about the consequences this might have had on his friends. And we can say, nothing was like before . Between Caitlin’s powers, the death of Cisco’s brother, Caitlin’s powers, and so on, Barry became aware of his mistakes. But “Paradox” was also an opportunity to learn more about the Doctor Alchemy.
1 / The Once and Future Flash (3×19)
In this episode, Barry decided to take charge and go in the future to learn more about Savitar. There, he found Cisco, Killer Frost and a version of himself completely defeated since the death of Iris. Very moving, “The Once and Future Flash” was mostly marked by an exceptional performance by Grant Gustin who played with himself for most of the episode. Moreover, it is always interesting to explore new eras and this time, Barry managed to give hope to his friends but especially to himself. A very well orchestrated episode! The Flash: The WestAllen couple, Flashpoint, HR Wells, … the best and the worst of 2016!

While the season 3 of The Flash will not come back until 2017, let’s get back together on the best and the worst of 2016!
The year 2016 was loaded for The Flash! Indeed, between the Flashpoint, the new characters and the concretization of the WestAllen couple, many things took place this year in The Flash. While the editorial ‘of melty proposed to discover if the season 3 of The Flash could survive without WestAllen torque , back in detail on the best and worst of the iconic series of the CW in 2016. First of all, We must admit that we were largely disappointed by the duration of Flashpoint. Indeed, the actors and screenwriters of the show spent the whole summer teaser a big event and would totally upset the series. Unfortunately, in just one episode, the Flashpoint was coming to an end. Yet a failed plot that had potential to max as the new reality seemed full of secrets to discover . Even though the consequences of Barry’s choice are still being paid for now, we are still frustrated that we have not been able to benefit more. However, we are absolutely delighted to see that the WestAllen couple finally came to fruition. After three years to turn around, the two characters finally decided to start and now live a beautiful love story. Complices and deeply in love, we are eager to see how all this will evolve especially with the terrible prophecy of Savitar.
Besides, Savitar is a good villain even if his appearance rather robotic and similar to a transformers does not seduce us very much. Nevertheless, we were very disappointed with the revelation of the Doctor Alchemy’s identity. Indeed, from the beginning, we suspected Julian Albert of being the culprit. So when Tom Felton ended up discovering Alchemy’s mask in his closet, we were not surprised as we had been last year with the fake Jay Garrick aka Zoom. It was far too predictable and so it was a shame. On the other hand, we regretted that Cisco wanted as much for Barry. Yes, it was interesting to not let our hero get out as easily but the plot eventually became long and less and less credible . Fortunately, the powers of Killer Frost surfaced again in the end of 2016 and it was a real pleasure as we love the performances of Danielle Panabaker when she slips into the costume of the nasty icy. The confrontation between Killer Frost and Barry was absolutely delightful and it was brilliant to remind us how many characters died for the often selfish choices of the fastest man in the world.
In the same way, we enjoyed the cliffhanger of the end of the year which left a real suspense for the return. Will Barry reveal to his loved ones that he saw Iris die? Has he learned the lesson and will he do nothing without seeing his girlfriend get murdered by Savitar? The answers intrigue us a lot. But this is not the only thing we particularly liked this year since the arrival of HR Wells was a good breath of fresh air so Tom Cavanagh mastered his art to perfection. Talented, funny and intelligent, the actor never stops surprising us by offering us to discover this third version of Wells as crazy as malicious . Finally, our little favorite goes to Wally now in full possession of his powers. What a joy to see him rushing into the field with such enthusiasm and seeing him ready to do anything to save his family and all the innocents of the planet. If the season 3 of The Flash is not perfect and it sometimes lets go by concocting intrigues of the fillings, it still pleases us enormously. The day … the Flashpoint revolutionized The Flash!

You also expect the storyline forward Flashpoint? You were a little disappointed but nothing can really start your enthusiasm when it comes to The Flash? Cool, I love you!
Hello everyone! I hope you are well and that you are ready for the year-end holidays. But it’s the dreaded moment for all series fans who respect since the winter hiatus has now begun and we will have to wait a few months to find all our favorite show. So I proposed you to relive with me the day … Negan sowed wave of despair in season 7 of The Walking Dead , I decided to revisit a series that I love terribly, The Flash. If you follow me from the beginning, you know the series of the CW is my big favorite and I have a special affection for Barry. And like all fans of the fastest man in the world, I was just excited about the Flashpoint. A very famous story of comics and absolutely questions everything in the original source. To be currently reading this story, I can tell you that everything is downright unsettling for our favorite Barry and the show was a crazy potential hands by deciding to embarking on this adventure. And like everyone, I must admit that I expected a lot this season 3. Not that I did not trust them but I have always been playful with the idea of discovering my favorite characters in a different universe totally disturbing. Thus, the parallel worlds, dreams and other delusions make me quite hysterical. As you say, I was thrilled . Unfortunately, screenwriters and producers have not had the guts to go through things and gave us an episode in the new timeline.
It’s little and I was disappointed because Grant Gustin and the rest of the cast have spent the summer teaser moment and assert that it would be crazy. This was the case but you can not say that we will leave a lasting impression as the time has passed to the speed of light as if Barry had run from the police to STAR Labs in a flash. Unlike some, I loved the Season Premiere but I must say that each character had deeply missed and I tend to not be very objective when it comes to The Flash. However, I loved seeing everyone in another configuration and I was captivated by the link that exists between Thawne and Barry in this episode. Very faithful to the comics, this dynamic offering an amazing parallel between the actions of Reverse Flash and Barry. For the first time, Barry was the bad guy who had dared to sacrifice his family for his own interest and it was interesting to see him gradually become aware of his gigantic error.
Thereafter, the Flashpoint has become a cornerstone for 4 DC Comics shows the point that the crossover was largely centered on the lack of judgment of Barry. As a way to discover the perspective of other characters. Indeed, our love for the fastest heroes of the world tends to blind us and we had the unfortunate habit of neglecting and underestimating the pain of those who often pay the piper choices Barry. For the first time, we had the opportunity to discover how each of them was wounded. At different levels but certainly they all suffer and struggle with their lives unlike Barry who has the power to affect everything and everyone . They also live horrible moments but not as long as they are selfish or show that they forget the basic principles of time. And that was clearly a stroke of genius on the part of writers who have managed, in the space of a few episodes to revolutionize the way we perceive things through the Killer Frost speech that recalled how each of our characters has lost much with the seasons. Barry may well be the soul of the series, it would be nothing without those who support day after day despite his recklessness, his favorites and his rants.
I none the less in love with our hero because all this makes it, in fact, that more human. That it did not originate the time to review if only for a few seconds a person we lost and we lack more than ever? If we lose a part of our world, we do not do everything in our power to find her? More than ever, The Flash is for everyone and that’s universal discourse and loving is the strength of the series . Love him or hate, there is no denying how everything is orchestrated to touch a piece of our heart hidden deep within ourselves. Despite the trials, the lies, betrayals, challenges, disappointments, and remorse, nothing ever really manages to cause trouble in the team and that’s exactly what makes it a real family. So yes, we were disappointed at times but I’m really not ready to blame them. #too much love
