The smartphone that signs the return of the fabulous physical keyboard is nevertheless available at the main e-commerce sites . By the time these lines are written, Darty, Fnac, Materiel.net, RueDuCommerce or Amazon market the smartphone produced by TCL . On the other hand, KEYONE has not yet made its appearance among French operators. Concretely, you will have to pay 599 euros (not counting the delivery charges applied by some sites) to offer you the new “toy” of BlackBerry / TCL. Can this limited availability limit the commercial success of KEYONE? Answers in the following lines.
Victim of its success (or reputation), the KEYONE sells well in the four corners of the globe. The first stocks in France had quickly expired before a general replenishment this week. If it is gone to become a bestseller, the KEYONE could have done better. His absence from the operators with friendly packages pushes us to pay the high price. But is it really worth 599 euros? YES without hesitation, the KEYONE is the most original smartphone on the market despite a limited interface (Snapdragon 625 with 3 GB of RAM) which prevents it from being high-end. If you want to know more about this smartphone, discover our complete test of the device !
The post Unavailable for operators, the BlackBerry KEYONE is worth 599 euros, not a dime less! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The BlackBerry KEYone is a smartphone that celebrates the famous return of the physical keyboard. Far from being perfect, it is nevertheless one of the most original terminals of the market. Here are its strengths and weaknesses.
In terms of performance and photo level, the Blackberry KEYONE is not the best smartphone of 2017 . But on the other hand, it is the most original device of the year. Its physical keyboard which is also tactile allows to do almost everything, and its well-designed design facilitates the grasp of the device. Finally, its simple and fluid interface improves the user experience (read our complete KEYone test for more information ). But if we found so many good points to this smartphone to the point of falling in love, we can also find him a lot of defects.
At 599 euros, the BlackBerry KEYONE is expensive paid. But here, the novelty or rather the originality has a fairly high price which can represent a real brake on the purchase. Another black point, the photo side that is not yet at the top. And at 599 euros, we expect better performance, although we must admit that the Snapdragon 625 still meets the needs of users. If you’re nostalgic for Blackberry and the physical keyboard, it’s the smartphone you need . If you’re tired of the lack of originality and innovation in the smartphone market, it’s also the phone you need. You can shopper it around here.
The post BlackBerry KEYone: The strengths and weaknesses of the smartphone with the physical keyboard first appeared on The Siver Times.

Presented at the MWC 2017, the Sony Xperia XA1 is a smartphone as elegant as the Xperia XZ Premium. We tested it for a week and here are our impressions in terms of autonomy, performance and camera.
With the Xperia XA1, Sony has redefined the concept of borderless smartphone. Its new mid-range is edgeless, only, on the sides. But leaving several millimeters between the top of the smartphone and its screen, the Japanese manufacturer has delivered a device that looks very big for a 5 inches. At the writing, we did not hesitate to compare it to a Huawei P10 Lite, a smartphone equipped with a screen of 5.2 inches, and the result is impressive. The Xperia XA1 is more impressive than a P10 Lite! Fortunately, the new mobile phone from Sony is good to take in hand and its technical sheet has something to feast on.
In terms of screen, the Sony Xperia XA1 has good arguments. Whether on a sunny terrace or in a subway, the 5-inch screen adapts to different light conditions . But it’s especially the interface of the Xperia XA1 that amazed me. Very close to Android Nougat, the Xperia UI overlay offers a menu display and a similar bar that recall the latest version of the Google OS, which facilitates the user experience. The new Nippon smartphone is also offered with several pre-installed apps. Among these, particularly include, Playstation, Xperia Lounge, Shop Amazon .. . But unlike other manufacturers, the giant Nippon offers us the possibility to uninstall them.
To move on to serious things and gauge the power of the smartphone, I decided to install and launch the Asphalt Extreme. And the least we can say is that the mobile chip MediaTek Helio P20 with the 3GB memory does not pretend. Fluid, the game has not suffered from any slowdown . And on the photo side, Sony is finally up to its reputation. At the time when the Nippon provides the photo sensors of the best flagship market (LG G6, iPhone 7) , it has often been unable to have such good photo quality on its own terminals. But in 2017, Sony set the record straight.
With a high-speed, accurate autofocus, the Xperia XA1 can allow you to capture the most spontaneous moments. This picture of my cat yawning (below) that I took with the smartphone of Sony is the perfect illustration of these words. Finally, the Xperia XA1 is also distinguished by its system by its system of optical stabilization. The Sony camera also shoots in Full HD and an HDR mode is proposed to improve the sharpness of your photos against the light. In short, everything is good for taking nice pictures.
The Xperia XA1 has been designed to deliver even longer performance. Qnovo Adapt Charging technology controls the battery condition and adjusts the charge time to prevent damage and maximize battery life. Yes, you understood it. Sony has done everything to ensure a long life span of the Xperia XA1 . When used intensively, the smartphone can easily exceed 13 hours, which places it at the same level as a Huawei P10 Lite but a little way down from the Honor 6X or the Galaxy A3 2017.
With this smartphone, Sony proves to us that it is always in the blow (even if one never doubted to the drafting). Fluid and pleasant in hand, the Xperia XA1 allows to capture beautiful photos outdoors and is inspired by the swipe of Snapchat to facilitate the use of its photos app . Equipped with a good battery life and a solid technical data sheet, it stands out for its virtually rimless display and rectangular design that changes from what we are used to seeing on the market. But if you are in love with this terminal, you can also find some faults. Its elongated format is, for example, a real disadvantage in everyday life. If you want to have fun with this very nice smartphone, you can shopper it here .
The post Sony Xperia XA1: Camera, battery life, performance … Our complete smartphone test first appeared on The Siver Times.

It’s been 6 months since the iPhone 7 joined the stalls. Meanwhile, the smartphone headed in its 256 GB version has gone through all the steps of a full test to the editorial and here is our verdict!
In September 2016, Apple surprised many people by presenting its iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The reason is simple: the new headed smartphones are devoid of jack. For my part, I was a bit ashamed when unpacking the iPhone 7, almost 6 months ago. Nothing but the packaging of Apple’s latest “jewel” had given me as much chills as a new album of my favorite rapper. Aesthetically, the iPhone 7 looks like two drops of water to the iPhone 6s. The only novelty described as “courageous” by the Apple (and scandalous by half of my friends) is the abandonment therefore , of the port jack. Apple has nevertheless managed to “calm” the anger of the “anti” Since its iPhone 7, delivered with a small adapter that can be plugged into the lightning jack to listen to music “old-fashioned”, propelled it into the forefront of smartphone sellers at the end of the year . But is the iPhone 7 really the king of smartphones?
As you will see further, the iPhone 7 is a revolution without actually being. Its design that seems identical to that of the iPhone 6s is not as commonplace as that. The Apple smartphone is waterproof, IP67 certified! Basically , it can be dipped up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes. This little novelty has saved my iPhone 7, several times, a certain death. But good for the iPhone 7 is waterproof, Apple still had to change the home button that is now no longer mechanical. Yeah it’s a bit rough at first but, we get used to it quickly. Personally, what I really liked with this iPhone is, no doubt the camera. For the first time, The Cupertino firm has equipped its basic iPhone with an optical stabilizer . And the result is very fast, in the photos. On the performance side, Apple once again set the bar very high.
The Apple that is about to inaugurate the Apple Park, the last great project of Steve Jobs , made me dream with this iPhone. Equipped with the A10 Fusion chip that is designed by Apple, the iPhone 7 is a true Formula 1. This is Flash version smartphone . Moving from one application to another is a real pleasure, never seems to be behind what has just been asked. Helped by iOS 10, the iPhone 7 is one of the most responsive smartphones I’ve tested! The other fun of this smartphone are the applications and shopping sites. Whether you’re looking for a pair of sneakers on the SNS site or a shell on the Amazon app or the Fnac app, it’s the perfect smartphone to heat the CB from its bed.
Anyway, i’m in love. The screen, speed and design of this iPhone are still as effective but I can also reproach him. The iPhone 7 is very harmful to the blue card, at the time of purchase. And autonomy side, it is always an iPhone that has trouble to overcome the day. But the only question that must be asked is, if we can afford it, would we then turn to the iPhone or the very rich offer Android? We particularly like the waterproof smartphones of the competition. If so, it’s very cool to play “Super Mario Run” in his bath. But if I had to release a final argument to help you decide, I would say that the iPhone 7 is also the most cold-resistant smartphone .
The post IPhone 7: 6 months with the headed smartphone, our complete test! first appeared on The Siver Times.
