It’s official: the 4th conference of Oculus Connect will take place mid-October 2017 and should mark a turning point for virtual reality! MeltyStyle makes you the topo.
The VR Conference of Oculus has a date: October 11 and 12 in San Jose, California. This conference will be an opportunity for Oculus to bring together its developers specialized in virtual reality. On the program, press conferences, announcements and presentations around this universe. Since the acquisition of Oculus in 2014 by Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg communicates enormously around the RV. Last year, the founder of Facebook presented Facebook Spaces, a sort of Second Life in RV! For now, we know that many games are to be expected (Skyrim VR, Fallout 4, Doom …) and that conf confidently raises the veil on our questions concerning Monterey, the autonomous helmet which will make pale that of Gear VR .
For this 4th edition, the first ambition of Oculus will be to open the RV to the general public. Gear VR: Samsung may shake the competition with a new helmet stand alone!

Samsung plans to design a new standalone virtual reality headset that would make Playstation, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive … rage!
While Apple is launching into virtual reality with MacOS High Sierra , Samsung is moving up a gear in VR. It seems that the South Korean is currently working on a virtual reality helmet with an OLED screen and a high density of pixels and that could work without a smartphone! A rumor that would come to us from a Korean source: Naver , specialist of the industrial news. Another novelty, this new helmet will not feed on a smartphone or console, like its competitors Playstation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift … No, no. It will operate completely independently! If the Gear VR were to be connected to a smartphone, the next Samsung headset will be enough on its own!
The main asset of this helmet, one will have understood: its quality screen, which will offer a sharper image, more piqué, and that will reduce the sickness effect for fewer headaches and nausea! According to Naver, the headset will have a resolution of 2000 dpi, much more than what the competition does and much more than the current Gear VR (529 dpi) already does! Samsung Galaxy Note 7: Iris scanner, Pen S Pen … Latest rumors!

The Galaxy Note 7 is revealed a little more. An internal memo from Samsung evokes its new features.

The countdown has begun for the Galaxy Note 7! In less than a month, the new PHABLET of Samsung finally point the tip of his shell – we wait indeed for 2 August.
