Star Wars 9: A very important role for Billie Lourd, daughter of Carrie Fisher?

What is the future of General Leïa in the Star Wars saga? Can Billie Lourd, the daughter of Carrie Fisher, fill the void left by her mother?

This is the answer that many Star Wars fans are waiting for … How will Lucasfilm / Disney manage the disappearance of Carrie Fisher in the upcoming Star Wars movies? The actress left us at the end of 2016 when she had just finished her work on Star Wars The Last Jedi . If his role in The Revelation of Force was not the most important, his presence in the next two parts had been teased as capital. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy announced at Star Wars Celebration this weekend, Carrie Fisher will not be in Star Wars Episode IX and fans are confused: how will they explain the ”
The answer to this question remains unanswered at the moment, but to pay homage to the missing actress, Lucasfilm may turn to her daughter Billie Lourd. The young woman was present at the Star Wars Celebration for the tribute to Carrie Fisher and posed in place of her mother on the photos of “family”. Billie Lourd is already part of the adventure since she lends her features to Lieutenant Connix and her role could therefore take on a greater importance within the resistance. Replacing Carrie Fisher in the role of Leïa is not really feasible and would certainly be frowned upon by fans, recreating the character by special effects is an option that has been discarded by Lucasfilm and so it remains a solution.
If the disappearance of Carrie Fisher & therefore Leïa will not be addressed in The Last Jedi, it will necessarily be in Star Wars Episode IX. The plot could therefore resume with the resistance learning the disappearance of the General and who decides to fight more motivated than ever, with a group especially determined to win, Lieutenant Connix aka Billie Lourd. Putting her daughter forward would be a nice way to pay tribute to Carrie Fisher who raised a girl with the same acting talent she! Star Wars The Last Jedi: Luke Skywalker, Rey & Kylo Ren on the first official poster

A first official poster for Star Wars The Last Jedi has just been unveiled. Luke Skywalker, Rey and Kylo Ren!
Today was a very special day for fans of Star Wars. Because at the famous Star Wars Celebration , the official trailer of Star Wars The Last Jedi was unveiled . And since good news never comes alone, the first poster also made its appearance allowing the aficionados of the intergalactic saga to have a little more water to mouth. A poster with Rey, saber in hand and raised in the air, which is reminiscent of that of the very first film on which Luke Skywalker took the same pose . This same Skywalker also appears on the poster while Kylo Ren is also at his side. In short, the poster has everything to please the fans!
It must be said that the Jedi will act as a mentor for Rey and that Episode 8 will serve as a sort of inheritance between two generations . No wonder Luke Skywalker takes a big place on this poster of Star Wars The Last Jedi of which Daisy Ridley has teased the meeting between the latter and Rey . Rather purified, this poster should find its way quickly on the walls of the room of the fans and the enthusiastic reactions around multiply on the social networks like Twitter or Facebook. In short, the Star Wars Celebration hit a big hit between the trailer, the first information and other images. The fans have only to take their trouble in patience! What do you think of this poster?

According to Adam Driver, the interpreter of Kylo Ren in Star Wars 8, director Rian Johnson wrote a scenario that would be remarkable!
Star Wars 8 comes out in a year and yet the actors do not hesitate to share their enthusiasm. Today is the turn of the interpreter Kylo Ren, Adam Driver, to revert to the live continuation of the Force Revival . Currently on view of Paterson directed by Jim Jarmusch and soon Silence directed by Martin Scorsese, the Girls star has lots complimented Rian Johnson . This makes Star Wars 8 but also wrote the screenplay Adam Driver has described as “remarkable” in the columns of The Daily Beast website. According to the first information about the film, Star Wars 8 wherein Rey will face an awesome enemy , would also be darker than its predecessor.

Admittedly Rian Johnson is the of the film Looper , in which Joseph Gordon-Levitt faced his duplicate much older future starring Bruce Willis. In this futuristic story, violence was just as much as a very mature tone. Nothing more logical that Star Wars 8 borrows the same path while remaining public. But that’s not all because Adam Driver also said “Rian Johson is a brilliant filmmaker. He knows how the ambiguity and nuance is important .”. This is information that should wait the fans when we know that for Kathleen Kennedy, Star Wars 8 must leave space to Rogue One and will not offer new information next spring! What do you think ?

Star Wars Rogue One: Does Jyn use Force in the movie?

The Force is far from being absent from Star Wars: Rogue One that we wanted to make us believe! And some elements make us think that Jyn is able to use it …
If Rogue One is so different from other movies Star Wars , this is because, firstly, it is a war movie and then because no character is supposed to master the Force. Indeed, Chirrut (Donnie Yen) believes deeply in the Force, repeating the same mantra from the beginning to the end of the story, a mantra that even allows him to avoid the Stormtroopers’ shots (which are still aiming badly). But he is the only one to testify to the existence of the mystical energy that watches over the order of the galaxy. Unless … Because you do not know but perhaps a Star Wars: Rogue One was nearly a Jedi , and that character is none other than Lyra Erso, the mother of our heroine. Suddenly, when we learn this, we come to see Jyn in a different light. What if the young woman was finally sensitive to the Force? You think we’re delirious, at melty’s? And yet! In reality, there is a stage and an element of the film that could well prove Jyn has the ability unknowingly use the Force … Warning, spoilers, obviously.

Does crystal allow Jyn to channel the Force?
Remember this scene at the beginning of the film, while the family of Galen gets the visit of Krennic and is about to flee. Lyra provides the time her daughter a necklace containing a crystal kyber saying: ” Trust in the Force .”. His mother therefore believes deeply in the Force, at a time when it seems to have disappeared and is no longer considered as a bunch of nonsense for gullible people. That, in itself, is already surprising. What surprises us most too, is that Lyra has in his possession a kyber crystal , they used as you know to build laser-swords Jedi. And this necklace will make appearances throughout the Star Wars: Rogue One and at times not quite innocuous.
The first occurs when Jyn is out with Cassian and K 2 SO (which is also great in Rogue One R2 and C-3PO in the rest of the Star Wars saga) to join Jedha. She has a dream where she remembers a scene that took place when she was little between her father, mother and Galen. And her reflex, when she wakes up, is to grab her collar. Who tells us that this dream is not ultimately induced by the kyber crystal and the Force? Do you think the idea is a bit capillotract? However, Chirrut itself proves that Jyn has a special relationship with the Force . While meeting her for the first time on Jedha, he immediately establishes a connection with her and immediately guesses the presence of the kyber crystal. What prompts us to ask ourselves a few questions, all the same! Not to mention that the next appearance of the necklace may have a hidden meaning …
When our heroes arrive at Scarif, Bodhi Rook ( Riz Ahmed ) communicates the number of the imperial shuttle, hoping to cross the shield that surrounds the planet. And we can see Jyn squeezing his neck very hard, praying certainly for the imperial officers to let them pass. This moment of tension is followed by a moment of triumph when the ship of Jyn and his rebel companions is allowed to pass. So, of course, this authorization can be explained by the fact that the imperial code is still valid. But, and if Jyn was actually responsible for this success? Because it is likely that without the knowledge and purely instinctive way, our heroine is simply … influenced the spirit of Imperial communications officer to let them pass ! Of course, this would indicate a rather extraordinary power on the part of Jyn, who has never been in contact with a Jedi. But we saw what was capable Rey in The Force Wake from the time it begins to believe in the Force, precisely.
So of course, this is not irrefutable proof that Jyn knows how to use the Force, far from it. But there is almost no doubt that the mystical energy is well with our rebels! In spite of all the obstacles, the chances of extremely low successes – as K-2SO constantly points out – and everything that could go wrong at any moment, it is none the less true that our heroes succeed in putting Hand on the plans of the Black Star. It is therefore easy to believe that our Rebels are guided and protected by the Force, which in no way detracts from the strength of their courage, their determination and the importance of their sacrifice. Whether or not Jyn is sensitive to the Force, the question may remain unanswered for a long time. Anyway, we still really want to believe it, if only because it would establish another link between Jyn Star Wars: Rogue One and Luke , our favorite Jedi!
