13 Reasons Why Season 2: We finally have the first official details on the sequel!

It’s official, 13 Reasons Why will be entitled to its season 2! But what will happen in this expected sequence? We have the answer!
Netflix and the whole 13RW team had to jubilate at seeing the state in which they had put us! After weeks of speculation and anguish it is now official, yes there will be a season 2 of 13 Reasons Why . And if you are among those who are afraid of being disappointed by a mediocre and hasty sequel, we have good news for you: Bryan Yorkey, the showrunner of the Netflix hit show, has already planned everything … and for a long time ! So, what will happen in Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why ? It’s time to discover the main lines of the next chapters in the history of Hannah, Clay and the others … Attention, spoilers.
Season 2 was already scheduled
While we all panicked at the idea that our new favorite series was finished, Bryan Yorkey was already preparing the sequel: “I knew as soon as we had finished shooting season 1 that I wanted to continue. Our characters, after 13 episodes, are just at the beginning of their healing … We saw Hannah’s version, but there is much more to be said from the point of view of the others. 13 Reasons Why: The questions you would like an answer if there is a season 2

While the fate of 13 Reasons Why is still uncertain. We propose you to discover the questions you would like an answer if Netflix grants a second season to the series.
The more days pass and the more we say that the announcement of a second season to 13 Reasons Why by Netflix is imminent. As you know, there are many indications that 13 Reasons Why will have a season 2 , which is not surprising after such a success. It should be noted that the series is already the one that we spoke the most about social networks in 2017. Even more than a month after its release on Netflix, the show continues to do the news, It deals – brilliantly – is very good news. If we are not totally interested in the idea of a sequel, it is true that several intrigues have remained in suspense and that we still have many questions. Here then are the questions for which, it is hoped,
The one that burns the lips of everyone is obviously: will Alex succumb to his wounds? At the end of the last episode, we learn that Alex is in the hospital and suffers a gunshot wound that could be fatal to him. What happened ? Did, like Hanna, Alex wanted to put an end to life? If Netflix grants a second season to 13 Reasons Why , what about Hannah Baker? Season 1 told his story, but with the end of the tapes, this story ended. Can her character be integrated into Season 2 or should we expect her to be totally absent? Common sense would want – unhappily – Hannah not to be part of the possible second chapter, even if her character would be greatly missed. However, we should not underestimate the imagination of the screenwriters. Finally, with all the polemics around the series, especially about the scenes of rape and Hannah’s suicide, one wonders if the series will undergo a kind of censorship . Many found that the series did too much, which the creator, Brian Yorkey defended by saying that his series deliberately wanted to be difficult to watch. In any case it is hoped that if the series is renewed, Brian Yorkey and his team will keep the same openness and the same freedom of writing and realization. 13 Reasons Why: What if Season 2 was not a good idea?

13 Reasons Why has not yet been officially renewed by Netflix. But would a season 2 really be a good idea?
You were told yesterday , there are several indications that there will be a season 2 to 13 Reasons Why . Indeed, Netflix’s latest teen drama has left no one indifferent and most people do not want the stories of Clay, Jessica, Justin and company to stop right away. It is true that the series ends in a very open way, not solving the majority of intrigues. We do not know what Mr. Porter is going to do with the tapes. We do not know the outcome of the lawsuit about Hannah’s death, or whether Bryce will finally get what he deserves. Not to mention that episode 13 ends on a new tragedy. A season could then serve to show how everyone is recovering from the death of Hannah and the revelations that go with it, But also how the suicide of Alex will once again affect this school already enormously fragile. It is clear that the writers have left the door open for a new burst of episodes. But, is this really a good idea?
We are certainly all agreed that there are several series that have the misfortune to multiply the seasons sometimes spoiling the success of the beginnings. If 13 Reasons Why is also strong, it is also because it is a series that delivers an important message and give it a second season so come and taint it. The whole series is based on Hannah, her suicide and those famous tapes she left behind to explain her gesture. Will the series not lose its strength without this postulate in season 2? Because, unfortunately, it’s hard to see how Hannah Baker could be part of the sequel, except as a souvenir.
Moreover, to repeat the same pattern with Alex would be both too repetitive and surely “too much” . If one can not deny having worshiped these 13 episodes, it must also be acknowledged that they were tough on morale. Once again, 13 Reasons Why is one of those shows with an important message that has been very well demonstrated and explained with what we have seen and show us more would trivialize this darkness, this pain and this violence . It is always complicated not to want more when a series has touched us so much, but sometimes it must be recognized that what makes quality certain is also because they are short and go straight to the point. In addition, 13 Reasons Why is already in the middle of a polemic since some think that the series went too far. If we do not necessarily agree with these criticisms, perhaps a season 2 showing more or less the same thing would go too far. Would you like a season 2?
