While the season 4 of The Flash will be broadcast as early as October on the CW, which missing characters will we miss the most?
This is the nostalgia moment! Yes, the meltynauts, a few weeks after the release of the Season Finale of the third season of The Flash, we have a hard time waiting until next October to discover the adventures of our favorite heroes. To wait, we wanted to come back on all the characters who have left us since the very beginning of the show . While Melty’s editor suggested that you find out which villain was the most successful in The Flash , between Eddie, Ronnie or Thawne, who is missing the most?
Eddie Thawne
The beautiful blue-eyed policeman left us at the end of the first season of the show. And the least we can say is that he died as a true hero and did not hesitate to kill himself in order to allow Barry to save the world from Reverse Flash. Gentle, kind, loyal and honest, Eddie was an endearing character and we lack her for her unfailing integrity. However, not sure that WestAllen fans would love to see him come back!
Ronnie Raymond
Ronnie was also a very interesting character and unfortunately we did not have time to discover. Quickly set aside to become Firestorm alongside Martin Stein, he disappeared by wanting to help Barry close the black hole that had opened above a town. Insured, intelligent and just married, the young man might have deserved better . If we’ve seen him on other Earths, we’d like to see him again soon.
Eobard Thawne
Certainly the most emblematic villain of the show, Eobard Thawne first took possession of the body of Wells and one will not lie: the interpretation of Tom Cavanagh was simply extraordinary. If he reappeared in Legends of Tomorrow, we’d love to see him again confronting his favorite enemy: The Flash. And it is known, everything is possible in the series and it could very well return soon.
HR Wells
Okay, he has not died for a long time but we miss him already. True ray of sunshine, HR was a nice Wells and who really wanted to make a place in the Team leaving to sacrifice his life to make up for his mistakes. We would like this injustice to be repaired quickly and to come back next season . In short, Tom Cavanagh is able to play all possible roles!
Henry Allen
Remember, at the end of Season 2, Zoom snatched the last member of his family to Barry. A terrible scene that had broken our hearts so much we wanted to see father and son spend time together. The Flash Season 3: Season Finale, 3 key moments to remember

The Season Finale of season 3 of The Flash was very intense! Back on the three key moments of “Finish Line”!
We could not escape, a character died in the Season Finale of season 3 of The Flash . While in the previous episode Barry had seen Iris die before his eyes, fans wondered if it was not HR who had sacrificed himself by taking the appearance and therefore, the place of the young woman. This theory was soon confirmed. It was HR who was the victim of this Season Finale of season 3 of The Flash . But if Earth 19’s Harrison Wells managed to dupe Savitar and save Iris, the battle with the big bad of season 3 was not over. Barry and his team had to show bravery and boldness to overcome Savitar in this Season Finale which also began teaser season 4 of The Flash . The editing of melty returns to the three key moments of “Finish Line” !

Iris now has a future ahead of her
HR took the place of Iris but nothing proved to us that Savitar would not again attack Barry’s fiancee once he discovered that he was duped. Thus, Barry, Iris and Joe immediately checked whether the article about Flash was written again by Iris West Allen . Just like the fans, our favorite heroes have been reassured. The character of Candice Patton does indeed have a future in front of her and that is much better!
Iris Saves Barry
Barry spent season 3 trying to save his dear and tender! However, it was finally Iris who saved her fiancé. Indeed, Savitar threatened to kill Barry but the journalist did not hesitate a single second to shoot the big bad to save the one she loves. The parallel of the two situations was very interesting to look at. If Barry is ready for anything for Iris, it is the same for the young woman! It promises for season 4!
Barry is sacrificing himself
Apart from the absence of HR, everything seemed to have completely returned to normal after Savitar’s death. However, the speed force threatened to destroy Central City and possibly even the entire world because it needed a speedster. Barry wanted to fix his mistakes in the Season Finale of season 3 of The Flash by agreeing to be the one who would remain prisoner of the speed force. The Flash Season 3: Episode 23, Barry fixes his mistakes, our critic of the Season Finale!

While the episode 23 of season 3 of The Flash has just been broadcast on the CW, let us return together on the main highlights of the Season Finale!
Sacrifices galore! Yes, the meltynauts, after months of suspense and questioning the destiny of the beautiful Iris, it is not she who succumbed in this episode where the ties of the Team have never been so strong and moving. Despite the disputes, divisions, betrayals, our heroes are a real family and they proved it last night in a Season Finale very different from the precedents where a perfume of conclusion reigned. While the editorial ‘of melty proposing you to discover our critique of the episode 22 of season 3 of The Flash in which Barry was helpless in the face Savitar , back in detail on the key events of “Finish Line” recently aired on CW . And the least that ‘ We can say is that HR will remain forever the hero of this third chapter. And no one could have guessed such a thing by seeing him disembark at the beginning of the season. If we regularly wondered what was his real place in the team, we discovered that he had become the soul. As a result, he gradually transformed himself, losing the innocence and the luminosity that characterized him . Where our hero became more marked by trials, H. R was our ray of sunshine that managed to make us laugh even in the most dramatic moments. If many internet users had long guessed that he would sacrifice himself for Iris, it did not take away this moment of grace and reminds us how the series can sometimes touch us deeply.
But unfortunately no time to begin mourning that Savitar is already on his plan B. He wants to cut his soul into thousands of pieces in order to become a god capable of being present at every moment. And for that, he counts on Cisco and an ignoble blackmail by threatening Caitlin’s life. Grant Gustin is downright at the top in this episode passing with ease the broken sadistic villain and sometimes even vulnerable to the courageous Barry but tortured by his mistakes. His decision to leave a chance for Barry to stay with the Team is very faithful to the image we had of our hero even though we never believed this possible redemption. Rhythmic and well orchestrated, “Finish Line” Also gave us a nice battle and a Cisco stronger than ever who managed the impossible by saving Jay Garrick from his prison and managing to wake up the Caitlin who was still sleeping in Killer Frost. HR would be so proud of him that it breaks our hearts even more . Especially since we thought that Savitar would manage to destroy Barry until the last moment but Iris saved the man of his life in a scene that would have been able to conclude the season. And yet! While the season was very hard for Barry who never stopped paying the consequences of his gesture of end of season 2, he was finally able to obtain his inner peace by shutting himself up in the Speed Force. Impossible by saving Jay Garrick from his prison and waking up the Caitlin who was still sleeping in Killer Frost. HR would be so proud of him that it breaks our hearts even more . Especially since we thought that Savitar would manage to destroy Barry until the last moment but Iris saved the man of his life in a scene that would have been able to conclude the season. And yet! But then, how will our favorite Flash offer us new adventures even though it has now reached its “finish line” ? Will we drop the Flashpoint timeline to return to the real one? In any case, the writers and producers of The Flash offered us a Season Finale in apotheosis filled with twists and emotions. This episode went far beyond a ” A simple battle between a gentleman and a villain and this dimension that reminded us constantly that Barry had finally become the Big Bad of his own story brought a real depth to this third part . So it is quite possible that we have said goodbye to this Barry there for good. The new hero of the show will perhaps be a version of Barry who will not make the same mistakes and who has learned that he could not play with time without thinking. One thing is certain, we will have to wait several months before we can discover the fourth season of the show but stay well connected on melty to get all the first info on the sequel.
