The Huawei P10 Lite and the Sony Xperia XA1 are two new mid-range smartphones. To decide between them, we decided to compare their cameras by taking several photos. The result is amazing!
Sony and Huawei launched a few weeks ago new smartphones in the mid-range market: the Xperia XA1 and the P10 Lite . If these two devices have everything to please, it is difficult to separate them with the naked eye, without knowing the technical sheets. At the writing, we did not hesitate to take pictures with both terminals, without changing the settings in the Photo apps. And the result is really unexpected. The Chinese smartphone seems to be more efficient than the new Japanese terminal.
On the left, the picture taken with the P10 Lite. On the right, the one that was taken with the Xperia XA1
If the Huawei P10 is very good in photo thanks to its dual sensor designed in partnership with Leica, the P10 Lite did not yield to the sirens of the dual photo sensor. The less muscular version of the P10 is satisfied with a single sensor of 12 megapixels which reminds us the color objective of the Huawei P9 . But the photo quality is pretty cool. Well, you’re going to put a cross on Bokeh mode or Portrait mode but, the picture quality should meet your expectations. As for the Xperia XA1 from Sony, it has an enormous photo sensor with a resolution of 23 Mpx at the back, much more than what we usually see on this segment.
As you can see from these pictures, the camera of the P10 is really not bad. Without any adjustment, its sensor makes very beautiful or even unrealistic photos (one might think that the HDR mode is activated), especially when they are displayed on the screen very bright colors of the P10 Lite . As for the Xperia XA1 Lite, its sensor is victim of a small veil, which spoils a little rendering. If the two smartphones offer nice qualities, I personally prefer to shopper a Huawei P10 whose dual photo sensor is putting everyone in agreement or, just waiting for the release of the Xperia XZ Premium that seems to tutoyer perfection . And what is your plan?
The post Sony Xperia XA1 vs. Huawei P10 Lite: We compared their cameras first appeared on The Siver Times.

The Huawei Watch 2 spent two weeks in my hands. I was able to test this new connected watch which can do without a smartphone as well seems and here is the time of the verdict.
After seducing smartwatch enthusiasts with its Huawei Watch, the Chinese manufacturer decided to continue the wrist adventure connected in 2017. Equipped with the latest technologies, the Huawei Watch 2 regaled me . Light despite its thickness, independent despite its format, the new connected watch of Huawei throws. She successfully completed all the steps of my test . But is this Watch 2 truly revolutionary compared to its big sister? Does it bring real added value? I will try to answer it in the next few lines.
Aesthetically, Huawei radically changed its Watch 2, compared to the Watch Classic. If the first generation of Huawei’s connected watch was distinguished with its leather strap and metal dial, the new generation is more sporty, more masculine. Featuring a lightweight silicone bracelet and a metallic and plastic frame, the Huawei Watch 2 is easy to wear . But if the Huawei smartwatch visually gives the impression that the ring and the dial are not fixed, it is not. In reality, the crown does not move. Which makes it difficult to navigate the system, as you will see. To finish with the negative sides of the design of this new watch connected, I must mention its size.
The thickness of the Huawei Watch 2 has nothing to do with the finesse of an Apple Watch but this is due to the fact that all the components of this watch are housed in different places compared to other smartwatches. Weight level, the Watch 2 is even lighter than its elder who was nevertheless less muscular. And even if the screen of the Huawei Watch 2 is small enough (a strong impression with the big ring), Android Wear 2.0 draws the best from this connected watch . The icons are large and the information is clearly legible. To navigate the Huawei Watch 2, there is no question of using the ring that is fixed. No, everything is done on the finger. At first, I had a little trouble getting out but after a dozen interactions,
And thanks to its light sensor that adapts to all conditions, the Huawei Watch 2 adapts to all lighting conditions . The colors are glowing, the rendering is really wow. The new “dock” of the watch, which is accessed by pressing the first side button, allows me to easily access the apps and it’s really cool. And Android Wear 2.0 allows you to enjoy a drawer of quicker settings more accessible and organized. But what is really stupid on this connected watch is its independent side. Available in 3 versions, the Huawei Watch 2 is offered in a model that can be equipped with a nano SIM or e-Sim integrated. These two versions can push you to leave your smartphone at home!
As Huawei France’s marketing director summarized so well, “when you run with the Huawei Watch 2, you do not need your smartphone anymore . ” Even better, both SIM and e-SIM versions can send messages or make calls , even if your smartphone is not within reach. Basically, these versions of the Huawei Watch 2 turn into a kind of smartphone at the wrist. And the cherry on the cake, the autonomy of the new connected watch of the third smartphone manufacturer in the world is better than that of his big sister.
The battery lasts two days in normal use (like responding to SMS with short pre-recorded answers or, to use simple features like alarm). If you put on the watch so that it becomes the best ally for your sports sessions, its battery will not hold the day. But good, it can still do without charge for 10 hours . Let us hope that the next generation enjoys greater autonomy. Oh yeah, I was forgotten. The Huawei Watch 2 can also display the time, number of steps (and basta) in a “Clock” mode that resembles an extreme energy-saving spell.
The new Huawei Watch is still a beautiful kid but is making good progress on the sport. Even if it gets wet, it can accompany us from morning to night. A bigger screen would have helped to establish itself as a gadget that would make us crack every time. But personally, I’m already seduced. This connected watch is one of the best things I’ve tested. And it is not for nothing that she has already won several prestigious awards. If you want to get it , it’s by HERE that it happens .
The post Test: 15 days with the Huawei Watch 2, the connected watch that will push you to zap your smartphone! first appeared on The Siver Times.

We remember that 3 years ago, the P8 Lite Had managed to finish at the top of sales of mobiles in France . The P10 Lite should sell as well. Marketed at less than 400 euros, this smartphone that mixes the design of the Honor 8 with that of the P10 successfully passed the different stages of the tests of meltyStyle. And here is our verdict.
If Huawei has opted for a less powerful processor (Kirin 655), the P10 Lite is equipped with the same fingerprint sensor as the P10, 4 GB of RAM and has a memory of 32 GB. Could test on the high-end version but, this time, this sensor is located at the back of the smartphone. Apart from that, other characteristics are a less good chouïa than on a P10 but, on the whole, the P10 Lite sends heavy . No signs of slowing were felt throughout our test. It is even difficult to find a smartphone as powerful in this segment, without going through Honor or OnePlus.
Aesthetically, the Huawei P10 Lite is a clever mixture between Honor 8 and P10. Despite its 5.2-inch screen, it holds easily in the palm of the hand. Yes, this midrange smartphone has nothing to envy to the older ones. But most of all this is probably the selling price of the P10 Lite. Officially sold at 349 €, the new Chinese smartphone is a bit more expensive than the latest Lite family . We would have kiffé that it does not exceed the psychological threshold of 300 euros but, we still appreciate its performance and design well worked. In short, everything justifies a purchase, by ICI.
The post Huawei P10 Lite: The good plan of 2017?

Huawei launched its P10 Lite. We had the opportunity to take in hand this new member of the family P10 (color Platinum Gold) that reminds us a little Honor 8. Details.
Huawei continues to delight us. The third smartphone manufacturer in the world has just launched its Huawei P10 Lite, a powerful smartphone at a low price. We had the opportunity to take him in hand and the least we can say is that he reminds us a little of the Honor 8 and especially the new P10 . And if you are not a follower of the high-tech heading of meltyStyle, you will be hard to differentiate the three smartphones. But when you take a closer look, the P10 Lite is easily distinguished by the location of its camera and the Huawei logo that is located below the screen . Very chic, the third member of the P10 family quickly seduced us.
Considering that the two main materials used on the chassis of this P10 Lite are glass and metal, we are dealing with a premium smartphone. Its 5.2-inch Full HD display has a 2.5D glass, which in a way makes it easier to grip. And yes, the P10 Lite holds easily in the palm of your hand. But unlike its elders in the P10 family , its fingerprint sensor is not located at the front. On this point, everyone has their preferences but, one would have thought that Huawei would now bet on a sensor at the front … Anyway, the first thing we want to do with this P10 Lite Is to use it as a video player. And frankly, we were not disappointed.
Its IPS LCD screen with Full HD resolution is very good. The colors are amazing and the screen adapts to all the lighting conditions, from the sun terrace to the dark room . Unlike the P10 and Honor 8, the P10 Lite did not yield to the phenomenon of the dual-sensor photo. The new Chinese smartphone boasts a 12-megapixel sensor at the rear and another 8-MP at the front. And according to our first grip promising, the camera captures very beautiful shots. Well, we will continue our test of this smartphone which is available at 318 euros by HERE , before swinging our final verdict.
The post Getting started with the Huawei P10 Lite, the smartphone that mixes the P10 design with the Honor 8 first appeared on The Siver Times.

We discovered two smartphones with a seductive design, and features really chanme. You cracked for the flagships of the Asian manufacturer but you have a budget too tight to hope to get them? So we advise you to wait patiently … A variant Lite of the P10 is planned, and it has just leaked on Italian reseller MonClick. If it has not yet been formalized, this less expensive alternative has almost no more secrets. You should be able to order it in less than a month, and more precisely on April 11th. Good news, is not it?
According to MonClick , the Huawei P10 Lite would be equipped with a 5.2-inch IPS display, a Kirin 655 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage expandable by microSD. It would have a 12-megapixel rear photo sensor with an aperture f / 2.0, and would run Android 7.0 Nougat . A battery of 3000 mAh and a definition Full HD are mentioned by SlashLeaks. All for 349 euros, which is really reasonable for a smartphone of this quality. Pending the formalization of the product concerned, measure your knowledge of the Huawei P10 Plus via the test that has been concocted to you . Tempted by the Huawei P10 Lite?
The post Huawei P10 Lite: Its features and price unveiled by a reseller! first appeared on The Siver Times.
