Tens of thousands of people hastened to get it, perhaps by following our guide of the best packages available to French operators . But if its design, power and photo quality were unanimous, some users quickly recovered a concern about WiFi connection … According to them, the Xperia XZ Premium would disconnect for no reason, Would severely disrupt navigation . For a high-end smartphone, it’s average, it must be recognized.
It was on the official forum of Sony that the first user affected by this problem, as Phonandroid relays . Under the nickname @ Eviltreebs_1412, he explained receiving regular “a message at the top of the screen asserting that his phone is offline” , even when it is located very close to its router. A problem raised by about 40 other users, and sometimes manifested in different ways … At some, the signal returns a few minutes after disappearing. Others are obliged to erase the network concerned to reinstall it. A little painful when you are quietly doing research via its smartphone. Hopefully the next Sony update will solve this concern.
The post Sony Xperia XZ Premium: Users complain about a WiFi problem first appeared on The Siver Times.

Available for purchase in France today, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium has it all. With its Snapdragon 835, its 4K HDR display and its 4GB of RAM, this smartphone has been tested by the editorial, and here is our verdict.
With the Xperia XZ Premium, Sony has created the sensation in the smartphone market. A situation that was no longer used to seeing with the Japanese manufacturer who has, nevertheless, always unveiled products that had everything to please. But sales never really followed the ambition of the Japanese giant. Today, Sony seems to have found the right recipe to make everyone agree: a condensed technology in a luxurious terminal . I rarely as much kiffé test a smartphone, before this Xperia XZ Premium. Brilliant like a piano at 20,000 euros, it throws even though, I would have liked that it avoids to keep the prints of all my friends …. But promised, I will not make my difficult.
Aesthetically, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium takes a bit of the visual codes of the Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra. With its new device, Sony Mobile has “redefined” the concept of borderless smartphone . While the Galaxy S8 and LG G6 have more than one dream with their big screens, the Xperia XZ Premium offers an edgeless finish, only on the sides. One aspect that can be called “courageous” since Sony still does not want to imitate the others . Always at the design level, the Xperia XZ Premium offers a rather unusual system to access the microSD and SIM card slots. But it is important to remember the judicious position of its fingerprint sensor. This is located on the power button of the device.
The Xperia XZ Premium is as brilliant as a piano at 20,000 euros
But what really impressed me on this smartphone is probably its photo quality, not to mention its famous 4K screen. But let’s say it once and for all, the Japanese manufacturer does not yet master the true 4K and I will come back to it later. To return to our sheep, to the picture what, bah Sony enters a new dimension with its XZ Premium . Equipped with a 19 megapixel rear sensor and a 13MP front-end sensor, the Nippon flagship is a good photophone thanks to Motion Eye technology, Super Slow motion (a slow motion ‘At 960 frames per second in High Definition) and predictive capture. But he could have called it perfection, if it had the famous optical stabilization …
The other real pleasure of this smartphone is its power. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a little Flash smartphone version . He’s a real racing beast. Fast and fluid, the Japanese smartphone never seems to be behind what I have just asked. And thanks to its 4 GB of RAM, the Xperia XZ Premium does not encounter any slowdown. This is one of the most reactive Android devices I’ve tested. Moving from one application to another is a real pleasure, so much so that you will not hesitate to shop from your bed.
If there is indeed a trick of egg on this new Xperia, it is its mode Super Slow Motion that allows to film up to 960 images per second . There is really no picture with the idle mode of your smartphone which usually does not exceed 240 fps. Personally, I was able to make a small video in Super Slow Motion , and the result is not bad. But in contrast the Sony flagship is not really 4K. The “jewel” from Sony displays the contents in Full HD, it only goes into 4K after 4K compatible videos are launched. This is a trick of Sony so that the battery does not empty quickly.
Equipped with a Snapdragon 835, an Adreno 530 graphics chip and 4 GB of RAM, the Xperia XZ Premium is one of the best terminals for gamers. It is not for nothing that he imposed himself before the Samsung Galaxy S8 in a Speed Test . For my part, I spent a few hours on the mobile games of the moment. Apart from a slight overheating, Sony’s newest son is doing very well. And his little overheating disappears, as soon as we stop playing. But otherwise, he does not suffer (again) from any slowdown. Level autonomy, the Xperia XZ Premium is a good student. Thanks to its 3,250 mAh battery, it can ensure a good day and a half of use.
On the interface side, Sony has not changed much with its new smartphone that comes with Android 7.1 . If you’ve already had a Sony Xperia, you will see almost no change. And if the smartphone app drawer is really cool, I struggled with the many apps pre-installed on the tel. Between the music and video players, the drawing application or the activity tracker and Xperia Lounge, I find that “it’s a lot, no” (to use this expression of 2/3 French rappers ..). What is really re-released is the impossibility of removing these pre-installed apps. Yes, you read well. We can disable oklm but they will still be in the smartphone.
And even if after 15 days, I really fell in love with the Xperia XZ Premium (which is available for purchase in France, here) and on its side waouh that leaves none of my friends indifferent, I can also him Find faults. Its ratio size / screen is not up to what can be found on the Galaxy S8 or LG G6. Its 4K is not really premium and its camera is not the best performer of the market (still efforts to do in reactivity of the sensor and distance of focus, but in general, the Xperia XZ Premium is without doubt One of the most powerful smartphones of the year So you’re going to shopper it today?
The post Sony Xperia XZ Premium: 4K screen, photo, video and autonomy … Here is our complete test first appeared on The Siver Times.

The Sony Xperia XA has passed the various stages of the editorial tests. And we really kiffé these 3 things on the midrange smartphone. Presentation !
Sony has brought its own vision of the borderless with the Xperia XA1. This mid-range smartphone has been tested and validated by the editorial staff . Elegant and very beautiful to see, the Xperia XA1 slice aesthetically with everything we are used to see. But if it throws, the new Japanese terminal is not necessarily very good side ergonomics. In use, the choice of this rectangular design is not very effective . But at least we’ve been kissing other tricks really nice on this device mid-range. And meltyStyle tells you everything right now!
In addition to the original and aesthetic side, we have kiffé interface Xperia XA1 made by Sony. It should be said that Android 7.0 Nougat is perfectly associated with the Xperia UI, which offers a simple navigation and fairly fluid. Throughout my test, I was the victim of only one small slowdown. In short, it’s no fault for Sony !
If the Xperia XZ Premium is the first smartphone equipped with a 4K HDR display , the XA1 can also boast a beautiful screen. Whether in the sunny terrace or in the subway, the colors offered are bright and remain true to reality. But good, we could still hope for a better screen than this HD 720p which is marketed at the price of 299 euros, here.
The post Sony Xperia XA1: 3 tricks that we really like on the mid-range smartphone! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Equipped with the latest technologies, the Huawei Watch 2 regaled me . Light despite its thickness, independent despite its format, the new connected watch of Huawei throws. She successfully completed all the steps of my test . But is this Watch 2 truly revolutionary compared to its big sister? Does it bring real added value? I will try to answer it in the next few lines.
Aesthetically, Huawei radically changed its Watch 2, compared to the Watch Classic. If the first generation of Huawei’s connected watch was distinguished with its leather strap and metal dial, the new generation is more sporty, more masculine. Featuring a lightweight silicone bracelet and a metallic and plastic frame, the Huawei Watch 2 is easy to wear . But if the Huawei smartwatch visually gives the impression that the ring and the dial are not fixed, it is not. In reality, the crown does not move. Which makes it difficult to navigate the system, as you will see. To finish with the negative sides of the design of this new watch connected, I must mention its size.
The thickness of the Huawei Watch 2 has nothing to do with the finesse of an Apple Watch but this is due to the fact that all the components of this watch are housed in different places compared to other smartwatches. Weight level, the Watch 2 is even lighter than its elder who was nevertheless less muscular. And even if the screen of the Huawei Watch 2 is small enough (a strong impression with the big ring), Android Wear 2.0 draws the best from this connected watch . The icons are large and the information is clearly legible. To navigate the Huawei Watch 2, there is no question of using the ring that is fixed. No, everything is done on the finger. At first, I had a little trouble getting out but after a dozen interactions,
And thanks to its light sensor that adapts to all conditions, the Huawei Watch 2 adapts to all lighting conditions . The colors are glowing, the rendering is really wow. The new “dock” of the watch, which is accessed by pressing the first side button, allows me to easily access the apps and it’s really cool. And Android Wear 2.0 allows you to enjoy a drawer of quicker settings more accessible and organized. But what is really stupid on this connected watch is its independent side. Available in 3 versions, the Huawei Watch 2 is offered in a model that can be equipped with a nano SIM or e-Sim integrated. These two versions can push you to leave your smartphone at home!
As Huawei France’s marketing director summarized so well, “when you run with the Huawei Watch 2, you do not need your smartphone anymore . ” Even better, both SIM and e-SIM versions can send messages or make calls , even if your smartphone is not within reach. Basically, these versions of the Huawei Watch 2 turn into a kind of smartphone at the wrist. And the cherry on the cake, the autonomy of the new connected watch of the third smartphone manufacturer in the world is better than that of his big sister.
The battery lasts two days in normal use (like responding to SMS with short pre-recorded answers or, to use simple features like alarm). If you put on the watch so that it becomes the best ally for your sports sessions, its battery will not hold the day. But good, it can still do without charge for 10 hours . Let us hope that the next generation enjoys greater autonomy. Oh yeah, I was forgotten. The Huawei Watch 2 can also display the time, number of steps (and basta) in a “Clock” mode that resembles an extreme energy-saving spell.
The new Huawei Watch is still a beautiful kid but is making good progress on the sport. Even if it gets wet, it can accompany us from morning to night. A bigger screen would have helped to establish itself as a gadget that would make us crack every time. But personally, I’m already seduced. This connected watch is one of the best things I’ve tested. And it is not for nothing that she has already won several prestigious awards. If you want to get it , it’s by HERE that it happens .
The post Test: 15 days with the Huawei Watch 2, the connected watch that will push you to zap your smartphone! first appeared on The Siver Times.

And the closer we get to this event, the more rumors are spread about the flagship concerned. A few hours ago, meltyStyle confided to you that the colors Orchid Gray and Black Sky had leaked . They could be admired from back, front and side. But if you have not had enough, then the video and the high-definition photos that have just appeared should finish filling you … Why? Because they show the Galaxy S8 in operation, and they give us an even more precise idea of what it will look like.
In the video above, the user unlocks the Galaxy S8 via the fingerprint reader at the back. In an instant, it accesses the interface of the smartphone and the different icons proposed . Icons that are found on one of the two photos that were unveiled and that Phonandroid relayed. As for the second picture, it highlights the Always on Display mode. It allows you to display information such as time, date, and load level when the device is locked, all without draining the battery. Rather cool, right? While awaiting the officialization of the Galaxy S8, (re) discovers the purple color in which it should be declined .
The post Samsung Galaxy S8: A video shows the smartphone in action! first appeared on The Siver Times.
