The new update of the operating system of Apple added several cool functions to Notes . The input application has never been as effective since iOS 11, we can scan its documents , nothing but that. To do this, simply touch the + button at the bottom of your note and select the Document Scanner option. In addition to this cool feature, you can now annotate documents directly after they are scanned. But to get there, you have to be the lucky owner of an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil, whose 10.5 “format has been validated by the editorial team . And meltyStyle explains how it works!
Once your document has been scanned on your iPad Pro, simply touch the screen with your Apple Pencil to fill out your form, annotate it or simply sign it. An effective feature that should make our life easier. But for now, we must always wait for the release of iOS 11 which is scheduled for the autumn. While waiting to gauge the performance of Notes, you can rediscover our complete test of the iPad Pro 10.5 ” , the brand new tablet head.
The post IPad Pro on iOS 11: Notes, the app that will allow you to scan or annotate a document first appeared on The Siver Times.

Today, with systems like iOS 11 on the iPad Pro 10.5, one wonders whether buying a laptop is still useful . The Ipsos Institute questioned the French about their digital practice, and it can be said that the literary duel VS matheux has a hard life. Whether you’re more like ” Geek ” or rather ” Bed ”, you will not escape the digitization of writing . But are scientists ready for this change? And the literary in all this? MeltyStyle gives you some answers right now.
If the mentees feel ready to give up the pen for the stylus, 80% of the literature is much more shared. But the digitization of the literature is faster than one thinks … In the literary, the pen remains a sure value, the keyboard comes in first position and 36% of them consider switching to the digital pen without problem. Nowadays, the tablets imitate the path of the pen to be mistaken . Is the end of the paper / pen marked?
With 1024 pressure points and a wide choice of mines, the new-generation styluses are easily adapted to touch screens such as those in the Surface range . Surface Pen, Apple Pencil … All these technologies allow us to write naturally on our screens like a sheet of paper, while forgetting the constraints and leaving our creativity free. In fact, we could almost do without the paper and the pen … But rest assured, these tools will not disappear overnight! So, rather keyboard, pen or stylus?
The post Tablets, pens … Will they make us zap the paper and the pen? first appeared on The Siver Times.

After dismantling the new head tablet, the site has noticed many differences from the 9.7 inches and even from the 12.9 inches. But there is no big surprise. The Cupertino firm has kept the same layout for the components of its shelf . But if the new iPad Pro is easily removed, it will be necessary to go through Apple to remount or repair it.
For each product disassembled by iFixit , the site give a rating (out of 10) to evaluate the complexity of repairs, a “Repairability Score” . And like the MacBook Pro 2017, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro inherits a bad rating. IFixit gives it the score of 2/10. And since the screen of the tablet head is fixed with glue and its battery is on aluminum, it is impossible to repair the new iPad Pro without going through Apple. And yet, this tablet has enough to make you zapper your MacBook Pro.
The post After the MacBook Pro 2017, iFixit dismounts the iPad Pro 10.5 “ first appeared on The Siver Times.

The iPad Pro 10.5 was one of the most anticipated tablets this year. We even wondered, in the editorial, whether it was not going to equal or even surpass the laptops with the apple , so much it promised to be performing. The first tests have fallen, and we make you the topo . As for the grip, CNET assures us that it is the same, despite its change of template. Heavier and bulkier than its predecessor (250.6 x 174.1 x 6.1 and 469 g vs 240 x 169.5 x 6.1 mm and 437 g Wi-Fi version), the iPad Pro 10.5 Inches is nevertheless endowed with thinner borders. Ars Technica admits that the handling is still slightly more tiring. Great innovation of the iPad Pro, its refresh rate which goes to 120 Hz, and that seems to make the difference.
Performance level, Mashable scores of better scores in single core and multi core than the Surface Pro 4 equipped with an Intel Core i5. A performance that Ars Technica confirms, with graphics going in this direction . The autonomy of this new tablet head does not seem of the least either; 13 hours, a record, according to Ars. A powerful tablet, an autonomy and a power unmatched until then, a screen just wow and a phenomenal camera … For now, the tablet almost unanimously the first testers. The only downside is the lack of iOS 11, scheduled for next autumn in its final version, and that should make all the difference once installed! We await this great update with impatience. With all these new features and the arrival of iOS 11, One even comes to wonder if buying a laptop will not soon become obsolete . And you, what do you think?
The post IPad Pro 10.5 inches: The first testers give their opinions! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Among the many surprises headed, we have kiffé the new iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro are as powerful as the MacBook Pro 15 inches of 2016. That is in any case what emerges from the results of Geekbench . In single core, the tablet Apple is even more powerful. But in multi-core, the Core i7 of the Mac takes the advantage, but it had never been so “threatened”. The new iPad Pro benefits from the latest technological innovations of the Californian giant. With these new tablets of 10.5 and 12.9 inches, Apple may have finally found the miracle recipe that will put everyone’s agreement. Already available on Apple’s website in silver, chrome gray, gold and pink gold, the iPad Pro is a bit all that is expected of a computer!
The post IPad Pro 10.5 and 12.9 inches: More powerful than MacBook Pro? For the second time in its history, The New Yorker magazine unveils a cover made with the tablet of the Cupertino firm. With the help of an Apple Pencil, the famous head stylus, draftsman Jorge Columbo, who originally produced the first cover of the magazine’s iPad (Waterways), recidivated by drawing a group of children In full basketball at the famous Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York. It is one of the favorite places of the artist who has also made himself there to make this drawing breathtaking. He remembers: ” It was risky! I was constantly afraid that the ball would reach me even the iPad! “. On the magazine’s website, a video (below) delivers all the secrets of the designer’s prowess.
A meticulous and bluffing work that Tim Cook did not fail to greet by sharing the article and the video on social networks. If you also want to express your artistic talents, the iPad Pro, tested by the editorial team of meltyStyle , is available in two sizes: 9.7 inches from 689 euros and 12.9 inches from 909 euros at Apple and authorized resale shops. The Apple Pencil is sold separately at a price of 109 euros.
The post The iPad used to make the cover of the magazine “The New Yorker” first appeared on The Siver Times.

But this tablet apple is a very nice surprise. The iPad 2017 answers, on paper, to the fundamentals of Apple’s tablet. It contains all the ingredients that made the success of the iPad, at a fairly affordable price. This new 9.7-inch tablet is the cheapest iPad ever released , just that. But beyond its price (which starts at 409 euros for the version 32 GB Wi-Fi and up to 669 euros for the model Wi-Fi / cellular with 128 GB, the iPad 2017 knows how to be respected.
Featuring a gorgeous Retina display brighter than that of an iPad Air 2, the first iPad of 2017 throws. The colors are hallucinating and the screen adapts to all the conditions of brightness . Well, it is true that it is a heavier heavier than an iPad Air 2 but, the difference is really minimal (469 gr versus 437 grams). Anyway, we’re in love with this new 9.7-inch iPad . Its screen and its design are still as effective but, we will wait to test it for a few days before pronouncing. But while waiting for our verdict, you can still get this new tablet, by ICI.
The post Getting the iPad 5 (2017), the cheapest Apple tablet! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Samsung took advantage of the MWC 2017 to present its Galaxy Tab S3. This news will struggle to compete with Apple’s iPad Pro and we explain why!
But the manufacturer still presented some innovations during the high mass of mobile phone and mobility, in Barcelona . If we have kiffé the Galaxy Book, it is much more difficult to validate the Galaxy Tab S3. Even if the Samsung tablet is well equipped and seems perfect for gaming, it does not necessarily have the shoulders wide enough to shade the iPad Pro . And meltyStyle tells you more!
With its rather bland design, its unique screen size (9.7 inches) and its fairly high price (679 euros), the Galaxy Tab S3 will, in our eyes, struggle to compete with the tablet head . Too bad for Samsung who could have done better. With this Galaxy Tab S3 which will be sold without its S Pen style, the Korean manufacturer confirms (again) that the tablet market goes very badly and offers a commercial boulevard to Apple which should present and renew its range of iPad in the next days. This is what is called a missed appointment …
The post IPad Pro: That’s why the Galaxy Tab S3 will not be able to shade it! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The fault of smartphones with screens always bigger, always more powerful and full of features! Yet Tim Cook decided not to abandon the famous iPad which despite a decline in sales remains number one . The big boss of Apple has decided to bet all on the latter by proposing very heavy in the months (and years?) To come at its financial conference of Q1 2017. Tim Cook used the opportunity to declare “We have Interesting things to come for the tablet and I’m optimistic about the direction of things . ” Apple fans will be reassured by this statement!
Rumors are already evoking a new tablet coming up for the next quarter. Apple would take advantage of it for a full face refacing of the iPad, which can turn into Nintendo Switch , with a larger screen and an even more powerful processor. The whole would be accompanied by a camera with impressive capacity (even if taking pictures with is not necessarily very practical). And if Apple finally decided to put an end to the range of iPad tablets in the face of insufficient sales? This possibility is obviously not to be excluded but it would be a pity that a product so well thought out can not find its audience! What do you think of Tim Cook’s promise?
The post IPad: Tim Cook “We have some interesting things to come for the tablet” first appeared on The Siver Times.

With smartphones of ever larger proportions and full of features, new technology enthusiasts have said bye-bye to the tablets. Yet, only one model makes resistance: the Apple iPad. Strategy Analytics and IDC, two leading analyst firms, have just released new figures on tablet sales . And the least we can say is that it is not famous! To begin with, according to IDC, the number of tablets sold – all brands combined – decreased by 20.1%. The iPad, with three new tablets expected to see the light in 2017 , nevertheless shows a decline of 19% compared to the first quarter of 2015 despite its leading position.
Despite this rather significant decrease, the iPad remains number one of sales against its competitors . Samsung has for example lost ground with -20.5% between 2015 and today. Even in the tablet market, the two giants remain formidable competitors! Lenovo (which introduced its Yoga A12, an ultrabook convertible tablet) will have sold 3.7 million tablets and Huawei 3.2 million. Two figures rather encouraging for these two firms. You will understand: the American remains in good position, the South Korean follows just behind while the two Chinese are rather good. It remains to be seen whether the tablets will reconquer buyers. What do you think of these figures?
The post IPad: Despite a drop in sales, it remains number 1 first appeared on The Siver Times.
