Logan is certainly an intense and impressive film but some elements of his plot have left us puzzled. So here are 3 questions we ask after seeing it!
And here, the chaotic and difficult course of Wolverine ended on a tragic but necessary note. Logan , with its heavy atmosphere and life-defeated characters, turns out to be one of the best films in the X-Men franchise , finally giving our hero to the adamantium claws the solo story he deserved. However, as incredible as Logan may be, some elements of his plot have left us a little perplexed. And several questions remained unanswered when the credits began to scroll. Among these, there is of course the one concerning the events of Westchester, which are only evoked in Logan and never shown. Even if we can get a good idea of what happened thanks to the different information that we get during the film. But Logan also leaves us with other questions, some directly related to the situation of the mutants as described. So we certainly want to bow to the suspension of disbelief dear to the poet Coleridge, but it is also clear that we can not help but ask a few questions about several elements of the film .
What is Eden?
We hear for the first time of Eden thanks to the nurse who saved Laura. As the name implies, this place would be a kind of paradise for the mutants , who would live there together and in peace. This explains why Laura is so determined to go there. Only here, we soon learn that this famous Eden is only mentioned … in the comics about the X Men who, in Logan , relate in part the past adventures of our heroes. Well, it turns out that Eden – or at least something approaching – exists in a corner of Canada. The evidence shows that children who have escaped from Transigen receive an anonymous call from across the border inviting them to pass into the neighboring country. But the question that then arises is: What is Eden and how was it created? Because in this world where mutants have almost all disappeared, where they are once again perceived as a real threat because of the Westchester events, it is hard to see how such a place could exist with impunity . And most importantly, how did the nurses in Transigen know that there really was … even though the other teams in the project, including the Reavers, did not seem to know? That is very mysterious. How did the nurses in Transigen know that there really was … even though the other teams in the project, including the Reavers, did not seem to know? That is very mysterious. How did the nurses in Transigen know that there really was … even though the other teams in the project, including the Reavers, did not seem to know? That is very mysterious.
How did the other children survive?
If, like Logan, you were surprised to find yourself in the middle of a band of mutant children at the end of the movie, melty reassures you, you probably are not alone! We still wonder how the small group managed to find their way to these huts not far from the Canadian border, without the visible help of anyone. When one sees just how much Logan and Laura have gone so far, it is evidently hard to accept that these children have reached their destination as quickly . Not that their abilities are questioned! It was clear that together they were able to stand up to a group of well-trained Reavers. But we also saw that in the end they were not big enough to fight indefinitely. Especially since, as we understand it, The Reavers used to track adult mutants and therefore all the more tough. And it was certainly not the terrified nurses who brought them out who were able to protect them from the Reavers and lead them up to that point! So to say that seeing them all together is a bit of a miracle. Unless, of course, Laura was the only one to be hunted that way.
Is Transigen really responsible for the disappearance of mutants?
In Logan , the majority of mutants have disappeared, the last survivors trying to hide their difference from the rest of the world. But worse, no mutant child seems to have come into the world for several years. The reasons for this phenomenon are however given us soon: it is of course Transigen who is behind their disappearance . Not only did the project developers track down all the mutants to eliminate them, but they also found a way to suppress the mutant gene in people. This is just genetically modified corn syrup. And then, we think that it seems a little too big to be true. Already because, even if Americans are really addicted to corn syrup, it is obvious that they do not all drink. This is statistically impossible. Second, because the problem of the disappearance of mutants appears to be global and not restricted to America. So how did Transigen succeed in flooding the world with her famous corn syrup? We want to believe that it has replaced Coca (and still!) But not that the whole world could be touched. Or then Transigen has a very, very long arm … What did you think of the film? ) But not that the whole world could be affected. Or then Transigen has a very, very long arm … What did you think of the film? ) But not that the whole world could be affected. Or then Transigen has a very, very long arm … What did you think of the film?
The post Logan: 3 questions that arise after the end of the film first appeared on The Siver Times.

Still there, you could not resist and you rushed into the dark rooms to discover Hugh Jackman’s latest adventure as Wolverine . A film directed by James Mangold that will remain engraved in our minds, so it was cool, although the end was not frankly a Happy Ending. Yes, Logan dies after an impressive battle, under the tears of X-23 aka Laura his daughter. A rather difficult end to watch that was not necessarily the first choice of Hugh Jackman who told Yahoo: “L ‘
He continues : “But I said ‘let’s stay open, maybe the end will be more powerful if he lives … James was always certain about how the film was to end and finally he was right. Unlike a human figure, this is what is most poignant for someone supposed to be invincible, to die and to say to each other ‘that’s what it is’ . ” We agree, the end of Logan is hyper-striking and the scene was worthy of the mutant, a beautiful end offered to this emblematic character. In addition, the end of Logan had already been teased in The Wolverine so it would have been a shame to change it! What did you think of the end of Logan?
The post Logan: Hugh Jackman would have liked a different ending first appeared on The Siver Times.

This is the question that everyone has been asking themselves lately. After all, there have always been X-Men: The Final Clash and even at the end of Deadpool , we had the right to a small teaser as funny as the superhero with the tongue hung. But Logan is also the latest film by Hugh Jackman in the skin of Wolverine and, in essence, the last film with Wolverine. So we have a right to ask ourselves if they will tease anything even afterwards, even if it is not linked to the mutant with steel claws. And above all, what? The New Mutants , the spin-off derived from the X-Men? Deadpool 2 , With the super-hero Domingo at the casting ? Or just the whole new X-Men trilogy we were teased without really telling us anything? The projections reserved for the press were not allowed, but it is rather common in these cases. And a few days ago, Collider firmly assured that James Mangold’s film would have a scene during or after the closing credits , which would last three minutes.
But that was before the director James Mangold came to deny the rumor . Responding directly to Internet users who were asking him the question, he first asserted that “no, there will be no post-generic scene” at the end of Logan . Then he added in another message: “If you see scrolling the names of the team that helped make this film is not worth it, you better not stay to the end . That is all we can do! No, definitely, we will not have extra minutes to bid farewell to Wolverine. Finally, we do not lose hope anyway, because Hugh Jackman recently confessed to himself, if one day a crossover is planned between the Avengers and the X-Men, He is ready to embody Wolverine again if he teams up with Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Company . There is only hope that this will happen in a few years!
The post Logan: A post-generic scene to foresee? first appeared on The Siver Times.

What is the timeline of the X-Men Logan franchise? Hugh Jackman gives us some clues about this thorny problem!
With 8 film and a journey through time that literally messed, the franchise X-Men is not ftoujours ONNECTING square when it comes to respect a certain timeline. So much so that we no longer know where we are! At the end of Days of Future Past , it was indeed convinced that everything would be better for our mutants and were effective in finding a way to peacefully coexist with normal humans. Except that see the trailers of Logan, as the final trailer which was unveiled with an X-23 fully unleashed , things seem to have rather gone wrong! So how did Hugh Jackman and, above all, director James Mangold address the problem of the timeline of the film? In fact, as you’ll see, meltynautes, they simply preferred … ignore the various existing timelines in the franchise ! In an interview to Digital Spy, Hugh Jackman and tease: ” You will understand when you see the whole movie Not only is it different in terms of timeline and tone but it also presents a slightly different universe In fact.. you will clearly see that it explores a different paradigm . “. And then the word is dropped!
So actually, Logan prefer not to take into account the events that were narrated in eight previous films. Moreover, one can understand the choice of the director, so to locate in the timelines and to leave something coherent with them can prove to be a real headache. Hugh Jackman does not seek in any case not to hide the benefits of this approach because it goes on to explain: ” [Follow timelines] becomes a little game of chess, which does not help to tell the story, Especially since it’s gone a bit in all directions.I do not criticize this aspect – X-Men was one of the first movies to actually adapt the comics book, and no one thought there would be any ” others with different directors . “. Of course, the presence of Patrick Stewart in the role of Charles Xavier allows to link with the other films in the franchise , without that one is entitled to long references to past events. Hugh Jackman ends by saying: ” [Logan] is not really accountable to the stories and timelines of other films Sure, Patrick Stewart’s in so there is a small crossover side but it’s very different. .” . Anyway, therefore, even if the X-Men comics exist in the film, Logan appears increasingly as an album to share in the franchise, detached from everything that has been done before. This does not mean that it becomes less exciting, far from it! Do you look forward to seeing the film?
The post Logan: Hugh Jackman teases the film’s timeline! first appeared on The Siver Times.

His role ? Protect X-23, a young girl who shares many similarities with him, alongside a sick Professor Xavier. For in Wolverine 3, the ultimate trailer was unveiled with an X-23 unleashed , the X-Men are long gone and our heroes have become very old. Say hello to a tired Logan, with gray hair and beard, whose healing power makes his own. A way to signify that after ten years face various enemies in the X-Men saga and his own solo movies , the hero is not as powerful as before.
Through this new poster, the fans were able to discover a Logan with a very threatening look. And for good reason: The Reavers, deadly mercenaries will do anything to get hold of X-23 . A mutant that the X-Men seems to consider as his own daughter and of which he will not hesitate to bequeath his inheritance. But his look also gives the impression of a broken character, burnt, eyes bloodshot … proof that Wolverine 3, which will be the last film in the skin Logan Hugh Jackman , will not Of rest for the latter. With a classification Rated R, bloody trailer and first exciting returns, Wolverine 3 should please fans! What do you think ?
The post Wolverine 3: A new image with a threatening Logan first appeared on The Siver Times.
