Supergirl Season 2: Episode 12, Can Kara Trust Lena Luthor? Our criticism

And Kara has ample reason to believe that Lena is innocent since it is discovered later that Lillian has all crafted just to get the help of his daughter. Indeed, she needs Lena’s DNA – a Luthor – to access one of her son Lex’s secret chests, which is full of objects capable of fighting aliens – and mostly Superman and By extension Supergirl . If Kara arrives in time to save Lena from the imminent explosion of Metallo – which was equipped with an unstable synthetic kryptonite – she fails to capture Lillian and the real Hank Henshaw . The episode offers us a beautiful scene between Kara and Lena – the tension was palpable! – But the end makes us doubt on the sincerity of Lena.
Finally, Kara finally accepts the feelings she feels for Mon-El. If we do not know yet if the idea of seeing Kara and Mon-El together is the best solution for the plot, we must admit that they are both pretty cute. Nevertheless, their rapprochement is quickly interrupted by the arrival of a certain Mr. Mxyzptlk who announces to Kara that he likes it! And if we believe the video of Episode 13, which you can see above, this gentleman will be ready to do anything to get the favors of Supergirl. Anyway, we really liked this episode that puts Lena Luthor and her relationship with Kara back on the stage. One hopes however that the writers will not fall into the trap of making her a “bad girl” just because she is a real Luthor. What did you think of this episode?

Reign season 4: Episode 1, Mary, Elizabeth and Catherine ready to do anything to keep their power, our criticism

Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast episode 1 of Season 4 of Reign. Then discover our review of “With Friends Like These”, as well as the promotional video of the next episode.
Reign is finally back after months of waiting to present us his ultimate season, and the least we can say is that it begins on the hats with an episode as we like them. Mary, Elizabeth and Catherine are more determined than ever to retain their power and to get rid of those who stand in the way . Let’s start with what’s happening in Scotland, with Mary. We find our favorite Queen, at the beginning of season 4 of Reign , practicing to handle the sword with his brother James. After what happened to Lola, Mary is more than ever determined to take revenge and if possible dethrone her cousin, Elizabeth. To do it, she has a plan, to marry Lord Darnley, an Englishman who could give her access to the throne. But then, Lord Darnley is not her only suitor and just after Lola’s funeral, she gets taken by Count Clan Gordon, a Catholic who wants her to marry her son. We rejoice once again to see that Mary does not need anyone to save her since she comes out of this situation alone. Then she does not hesitate to put her brother in his place when he questions his choices and orders . If we are not sure whether to trust James, we applaud the way Mary handled the situation with her brother – what a Queen!
In England, the atmosphere is also mistrustful, especially since Elizabeth almost got murdered. She also learns that Mary wants to marry Lord Darnley and is determined to stop this alliance before it happens. She finds the help of her faithful Gideon, who can not help but want to protect Mary by investigating what really happened with Lola. He brings evidence to Elizabeth that Mary was not the latest assassination attempt but that it was the famous John Knox who did everything to make sure they would be against each other. In an effort of reconciliation, Gideon asks Elizabeth to calm the tensions with her cousin, but the latter explains that they can never be friends and that she prefers to keep her distance to avoid attaching herself. Her speech is poignant and shows once again that despite being queen, she can not do what she wants, especially because of the men around her.
In France, Catherine is visited by her other daughter, Leeza, who is also the Queen of Spain. At that time, Spain is a great kingdom and a powerful ally to whom we certainly must not turn our backs. That is why, when Leeza suggests that Claude marries Martel de Guise, Catherine sees herself in an impasse. She has no desire to unite the Valois and Guise because she despises them, but at the same time she is badly told “no” to the Queen of Spain. But Catherine always has a plan in mind and this one consists, quite simply, in killing Martel. Ah, Catherine, what did you miss? She therefore passed the murder of Martel for a suicide to protect her daughter and her power. Unfortunately, this does not reassure Leeza who fears that the French throne will be taken over by the Protestants. In fact, she decides to remain “indefinitely” until it is settled. We did not bother a single second before this episode of Reign and next week promises to be just as exciting, just to see the promo video that is above. Supergirl Season 2: Episode 5, the first fruits of the Guardian, our criticism

Last night the US channel The CW aired episode 5 of season 2 Supergirl. Then discover our critique of “Crossfire.”

The episode 5 of season 2 Supergirl is full of humor and surprises including the character of Alex. Since the arrival of Maggie, it is clear that the spark between the two women and we even could feel the disappointment of Alex when she learned that Maggie was a couple in the last episode. There, we learn that she has been dumped, and Alex tries all means to cheer her up. Finally, this relationship developed with Maggie will push Alex to ask questions about his sexuality and his attraction to women. In a very touching speech, she told her new friend that she never found her happiness by dating men and the relationship they share makes her question now . Alex is perhaps not yet ready to realize the extent of his feelings, but it is undeniable that the two women have a chemistry and a strong bond. We are delighted that the CW has chosen to explore this kind of intrigue for Alex, because we love her character and this allows it to be more emphasized.

Meanwhile, Kara is trying to initiate Mon-El to human life. Makeover, new identity, new work, “Mike” is now an assistant at CatCo and the least we can say is that it is very different from the wise Kara. Again, the two characters are going to disagree, and that is by talking with Kara Alex will realize that it can not force Mon-El to be like her and that he must find his own way in this unknown world for him. The dynamic that develops between them is really interesting and we can not wait to see how will evolve their relationship. Moreover, James Olsen was finally back on the center stage after being very absent this season. We discover that he has a secret ambition: to become a vigilante . But now, he has no superpowers and Winn warns as it is a highly dangerous pastime, despite his black belt in karate.

Finally, Winn includes arguments that motivate James to want to do something to defend the residents of National City and then it will make him an outfit capable of protecting it. The Guardian born gradually before us … Finally, actions Lena Luthor us to believe that it could eventually be much better than his brother Lex. In fact, it was she who saved everyone the attackers from the Project CADMUS and we must admit we hope to see her interact with Winn.
