Big Little Lies: Episode 7, a grand finale, our critic

That’s it, the HBO miniseries event ended last night and we invite you to discover our review of “You Get What You Need”, pay attention to spoilers.
After only a couple of weeks, the first and a priori single season of Big Little Lies ended last night on HBO and a few hours later on OCS City and we admit you miss it already. We suggest you plunge into “You Get What You Need” and watch out for spoilers for those who have not seen the episode. The last chapter of the story is divided into two parts: the first in which each of the heroines goes about its business as usual, and the second during which the famous gala takes place during which the murder takes place. The beginning is marked by a certain violence of the men of the series, perhaps highlighted to raise the tension in crescendo until the murder. Whether it was Joseph who verbally assaulted Madeline who had come to ask him about his wife or Gordon who threatened Jane, the husbands seemed to be on a dangerous path. Yet it is always the same who wins the palm and the episode opens on a Celeste curled up in fetal position, frightened by Perry whose blows are discovered a few scenes later . Thanks to Ziggy, Jane finally learns that it is Max, one of Celeste’s twins, who has been abusing Amabella since the beginning and Celeste finds herself having to fight against violence on all fronts. The way mothers manage it remains exemplary and sets the tone for saving cooperation throughout the episode. Because the gala hour arrives and offers us, slowly but surely, a denouement to all the intrigues, like a symphony brilliantly orchestrated . The talent competition begins and the voice of Zoë Kravitz comes to rhythm the ball, very pleasant. She is followed by an Ed with a soft astonishment voice – lined by singer Conor O’Brien – so sweet that she capsizes Madeline who is overwhelmed by guilt after having doubted her marriage. For once it is Jane who comes to her rescue, who listens to her and reassures her, who restores her strength through her words as Madeline has so often done for her. Meanwhile another drama takes place in the car of Celeste and Perry which gives us the opportunity to also hear the version of Perry. If it can also be a good thing to give the floor to the aggressor, it does not excuse any of the blows given, any physical or verbal attacks suffered by Celeste escaping thanks to Renata.
The recurring violence of men is contrasted with the deep humility of women in the latter part of the episode. Madeline admits her mistakes and finally says she does not need to be perfect, Celeste immediately apologizes to Renata for the behavior of her son, Renata in turn apologizes to Jane for The way she treated Ziggy. Outstretched hands that bear witness to the great heart and strength of character of these women and which seem only more important compared to the futile beatings between Ed and Nathan or between Gordon and Tom . The impromptu but necessary meeting between Jane, Madeline, Celeste and Renata is interrupted by Perry who is closely followed by a suspicious Bonnie.
In a few seconds and in spite of her ridiculous accoutrement of Elvis, Jane recognizes in Perry its aggressor, the one who raped her then abandoned, the father of Ziggy. The scene cuts to bring us to the mute testimonies of the five women whose interviewer is no more needed to know the words to know what they are saying. Back to the night of the gala: Perry, impaled on the stairs in construction and five women who no doubt feel a powerful mixture of terror and relief. The death of Perry will finally be shown interspersed with images of the sea as indomitable, unstoppable and powerful as those women who fight each day to survive, each in their own way . Knowing that Bonnie is the culprit has little importance. The series ends on her heroines together, Those that have always been at the center of history, far more than murder or anything else. Madeline, Celeste, Bonnie, Renata and Jane already shared many things before adding their terrible secret to the list. HBO offers us a scene of late bittersweet, like the reality that its characters have so well transmitted in a miniseries breathtaking and very well conducted. Dilemma between work and family life, divorce, rape, domestic violence, deceit … all these subjects were approached in depth and accurately while music, talent and intrigue were at the rendezvous. Episode 9 of Season 2 of Blindspot aired last night in the US. What got us this Winter Finale? immediately Discover our review of “Why let cooler pasture deform”.

That twists! Last night, episode 9 of season 2 of Blindspot aired and we wondered if Jane would succeed in defeating the plans of Sandstorm . The answer remains open even if it looks on the positive side. This Winter Finale was just crazy and successful. One thing for sure is that the wait will be long before the return of the series, January 4 . The final scene left us speechless and both say that the writers do not have the right to leave us like this! One of the key characters will surely die and we’ll have to wait several weeks until you know who it is. “Why let cooler pasture deform” brought together betrayals, romances, brotherly love, traps and this mixture was explosive . Do not wait and immediately discover the strengths of this episode 9 of season 2 of Blindspot!
This Winter Finale of Season 2 of Blindspot starts strong and the pace will not back down throughout the episode. Jane is with Roman and Shepherd and they report to him that Phase 2 is on and it will not return to the FBI . Fortunately (or not), Jane has found a pay phone and was able to prevent contact Kurt. Neither one nor two, the FBI team is preparing to save Jane and simultaneously stop the Standorm organization. Will they achieve this? NO ! Kurt simultaneously receives a phone call from the boyfriend of Allison to warn that she had a car accident and was taken to hospital. Obviously he ran to his bedside as his team went on a mission. Yes, it was all a trap and Jane saw helplessly as his team go for it. Bombs exploded and Nas, Read and Tasha were under the rubble. Meanwhile, Kurt realized that Allison was never taken to the hospital and it was just another trap for him away from his team. After that, he drove immediately to the place of mission and discovered the building exploded. Who is dead ? Fortunately, he managed to rescue Tasha, Read and Nas but many agents were killed. Jane his side was about to die. Shepherd asked Roman to kill his sister but he was unable to do. Phew! So he had to fight against it to save his sister, even though he was hit in the shoulder. Jane managed to free himself and this fight scene between the three characters was pretty intense. Roman Shepherd stopped pulling on him and Jane helped him flee. When they found themselves both, our heroine has done everything to save her brother . She took the momentous decision to erase his memories so he could start over . What will happen when he awoke? This plot was quite surprising but what really left us speechless is the final scene where Patterson visited Robert and she discovered he was the mole in the FBI . Their confrontation is strong and it ended with a shot. Who was hit? Well that’s the big question that will remain outstanding until January 4th … Waiting to know the answer, discover if Kurt and Jane still have a hope in season 2 of Blindspot!

Last night in episode 5 of season 3 of The Virgin Jane, a new friendship was created in “Chapter Forty-Seven” . Yes, Michael and Rafael decided to become friends, but as you say it was not easy.
