The actor, famous for his roles in Jurassic Park and Independence Day , will again play the extraterrestrials in Thor: Ragnarok . But beware, not any extraterrestrial! Here he is, indeed, lending his features to the Grand Master, the Dean of the universe, who devotes himself to only one thing: gambling, in all its forms. It is also he who will push Hulk and Thor to compete in the arena. As a result, it is not clear on which side it should be placed. Is he a nice guy? A bad person ? Or does it evolve in a morally gray area? What one can be sure in any case is that the Great Master of Jeff Goldblum – who, incidentally, Will not look quite like the one of the comics – should be a little more fun and less rigid than its original version . What makes us say that? And quite simply the recent remarks of the actor, who has entrusted a little bit on his work with Taika Waititi. And imagine, the meltynauts, whom the director has obviously left him the latitude to do … Jeff Goldblum, precisely!
And yes, it would seem that the actor had permission from the director to leave a little room for improvisation. Admitting his admiration for the latter, Jeff Goldblum told Entertainment Weekly: ” When we talked together for the first time, he said to me: ‘I want you to give your own version of the character without being too grandiloquent “I think you should do something that resembles you, and also improvises.” He was very interested in improvisation. Jeff Goldblum goes on to tease: ” So we filmed several scenes improvising as soon as we had time. I do not know what will come out of this mix because we gave him a whole bunch of different choices. “Knowing the actor, we think that some of these choices must give some delusional sequences , and when we know how far Taika Waititi is able to go in the genre” delirium unlikely “, there is a good chance So that some of them are particularly fun, or even a little wtf ! Well, it’s Jeff Goldblum, so we’re pretty confident of his improvisational skills. Let’s hope he shares a scene with the character played by the director of Thor: Ragnarok . What do you expect from the Grand Master? Knowing the actor, it is said that some of these choices precisely must give some delusional sequences . And when you know how far Taika Waititi is able to go in the genre ” delirium improbable “, there is a good chance that some of them are particularly fun, or even a little wtf ! But hey, Jeff Goldblum is, so we tend to trust his improvisational skills Let’s hope he shares. a scene with the character played by the director of Thor: Ragnarok . What do you expect of the character of the Great Teacher? Knowing the actor, it is said that some of these choices precisely must give some delusional sequences . And even more so now that we know that Jeff Goldblum will be back in his role of Dr. Ian Malcolm , more than twenty years after his last appearance in Jurassic Park: The Lost World , in 1997. With his convoluted theories, his humor And his famous replicas, Dr. Ian Malcolm is one of the best characters in the franchise and so we are delighted to find him. We are not the only ones, moreover, since Jeff Goldblum recently confided to be very glad to slip back into the skin of Ian Malcolm. “I love my character. He is an insolent, impertinent man, but one who is integral and whose thoughts are deep , “He told Entertainment Weekly . As for the new director, JA Bayona, he looks forward to working with him. “Although some say it’s popcorn entertainment, JA Bayona focuses more on the consequences of greed, as it often happens in this kind of movies, and the wonders of science and reason that goes with it, as well As the fascinating point from which our species is found, both in real life and in the imaginary world. ”
It remains to be seen what will be the role of Dr. Ian Malcolm in this sequel. Before the release of the first Jurassic World in June 2015, a poster with a QR code revealed Dr. Ian Malcolm’s new book, “God Created the Dinosaurs” . Could it be that Owen Grady, aka Chris Pratt, or Claire Dearing, aka Bryce Dallas Howard, fall on it and decide to call on him? His famous “theory of chaos,” his expertise and past experience in the matter could be of great help to both characters. And especially if the plot revolves around the use of dinosaurs for military purposes and this, within the park itself, as revealed new details about the plot of Jurassic World 2.
The post Jurassic World 2: Jeff Goldblum tease the return of Ian Malcolm first appeared on The Siver Times.

While a new character was revealed on a first official photo of Jurassic World 2 a few weeks ago, we are learning today of the return of an emblematic character of the original saga: Dr. Ian Malcolm ! The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the presence of actor Jeff Goldblum in the cast of the Jurassic World suite, more than twenty years after his last appearance in Jurassic Park: The Lost World , in 1997. “Life always finds its way ” As the mathematician Ian Malcolm would say so well. With his convoluted theories, his rather misplaced humor, his nonchalance and his famous replicas, Dr.
If we do not yet know what role Dr. Ian Malcolm will play in this new adventure, his expertise and past experience in this area could in any case be of great use to Owen Grady and Claire Dearing! Especially if the plot revolves around the use of dinosaurs for military purposes and this, within the park itself. For example, producer Frank Marshall said he was very excited to see him back. He added: “The world has changed since Ian Malcolm went to Jurassic Park and we need more than ever to his views. He warned us with his theory of chaos and he was right . ” Now, Alan Grant’s return to Jurassic World 2 is all but missing and the film will take on a whole new look. Even if, Owen Grady is a super raptor trainer and will not replace him for anything in the world. And you, what do you think of the return of Jeff Goldblum?
The post Jurassic World 2: Jeff Goldblum back! first appeared on The Siver Times.

To be nice. And sometimes, these extravagant looks with flashy colors are rather bad on the screen (ask Superman …). So, for the studios, it is often a question of finding the right balance between respect for the original material and sense of aesthetics. No, because a bad guy who walks in blue and yellow tight suit is rather laughable and, as a result, his dignity takes a hit. Besides, if you’ve seen the different images and the trailer of Thor: Ragnarok , it will not have escaped you. The god of Asgard changed his outfit and cut his hair. But he is not the only one to have undergone some changes along the way. This is also the case of the Grand Master , played by Jeff Goldblum in the film, an inveterate player who is still part of the Deans of the universe. In comics, the character wears a long yellow dress and, above all, has a blue skin. Well, so much to say that it stings a little the eye! However, when the trailer of Thor: Ragnarok was unveiled, it was soon realized that, no, the Grand Master of Jeff Goldblum would not be blue . ” But why ?! “, it is immediately exclaimed thousands of fans through the galaxy Marvel. Has a blue skin. However, when the trailer of Thor: Ragnarok was unveiled, it was soon realized that, no, the Grand Master of Jeff Goldblum would not be blue . ” But why ?! “, it is immediately exclaimed thousands of fans through the galaxy Marvel.
Yes, why is the Grand Master not BLUE in Thor: Ragnarok and why does not he finally look so much at his version of the comics? Taika Waititi , the director of the film, has a very good explanation to give . One could believe that it has something to do with a rendering possibly not very realistic or with, precisely, the fact of letting the character retain his dignity of Dean. But, of course, with Taika Waititi, nothing is ever taken for granted. And to the question of why Jeff Goldblum is not covered with a blue painting, posed by IGN, he answers quite naturally: ” Because he already made a film in which he was blue .” OK. In fact, the film in question does exist, But to know what the director is talking about, we must go back to the late 1980s – decade of questionable dress styles if any. In fact, it is Terran Objective , in which Jeff Goldblum played … a blue extraterrestrial . Decidedly! So of course, one understands the choice of Taika Waititi. The innocent Mac should not be confused with the wily Grand Master. That said, in melty, it is said that not giving an indigo skin to the latter is more common sense than anything else. And then, Yondu, of the Guardians of the Galaxy , is already there to represent the blue community of the MCU, anyway. At the worst, we can always admire the perfect make-up of Hela (Cate Blanchett), the villain of Thor: Ragnarok !
The post Thor Ragnarok: Why does not the Great Master (Jeff Goldblum) look like the comic character? first appeared on The Siver Times.

The superhero Marvel presents a new birth and unveils a film that looks very different from the two previous ones seen in the franchise Thor. Taika Waititi is at the controls and clearly, he did not shrink from anything. A Thor gladiator, wicked to the height of the God of Asgard and scenes of intense destruction. Have you seen everything in this first trailer? Do not panic it is decrypted for you and we start with a trip in the kingdom of Muspelheim. When the trailer starts, Thor is trapped in chains and is a bit of a walk as a piece of meat when in voiceover he says “You are wondering how I ‘
A short trip on Muspelheim is clearly on the program ! A kingdom licked by the flames where torment and pain reign in masters, a dream destination not? Basically it is hell, but it is also the planet on which we find Surtur, the one who in the Comics is responsible for Ragnarok … Does the latter have a much more important role than expected in the movie ? Indeed, it is also present a little further in the trailer in battle dress undoubtedly ready to fight against Thor in the arena of the Grand Master … A duel that we can not wait to see.
Destruction of the Mjolnir – Nobody could miss this image when HELA’s hand exploded the hammer into a thousand pieces … But did you think of the meaning of this moment? Our God of Asgard will no longer have to worry about whether he is worthy to raise it and especially, he will have to learn to fight without … We told you, Ragnarok will be a real rebirth for the superhero .
Hela and Massive Destruction – The character of Cate Blanchett will clearly give our heroes trouble and among the images unveiled yesterday we witness the destruction of the Mjolnir, but also that of Asgard who is not going to let . Yes, we can see the warriors fighting, even if they do not seem to make the weight in front of this enemy who has freed himself from his prison and is more fit than ever. The good news is that it will allow the meeting of Thor and his brother since in the scene where the Mjolnir bursts into a thousand pieces, one can see Thor and Loki united against Hela. We also know that the latter will come to New York to face Thor and it is hoped that the city will not suffer too much!
The fall of Valkyrie
The fall of the Valkyries – Tessa Thompson will lend her features to one of them and in a very small segment of the trailer we can see them in full fight against Hela. A flashback? Are we going to discover why Odin’s trustworthy fugitives have fled the kingdom of Asgard and more precisely why Valkyrie has decided to cut the ties with his past and to be an enemy to Thor?
The return of Heimdall – This is one of the most popular characters of the Thor franchise and yet he does not have the opportunity to be often on the screen. The good news is that we will find Heimdall in Ragnarok, but the latter will be completely transformed. More armor, but a cloak, long hair and clearly a desire to blend into the scenery that lies here being a forest populated with enemies. Who is looking forward to this new version of Heimdall?
Last but not least … We find Loki ! The latter is back for better and for worse, and if some scenes show him on his brother’s side, others place him more in the enemy’s camp, especially when he is seated in the Grand Master’s box, Ready to watch the fight between his brother and the Incredible Hulk. We find him also ready to fight with new weapons and allies who come from elsewhere. Is he determined to protect Asgard from destruction? What was the most impressive part of the trailer?
The post Thor Ragnarok: The trailer, what should not be missed first appeared on The Siver Times.
