Our fan life would certainly be a little less exciting! And rumors and theories, there are many, especially since the very first teaser trailer of the film was unveiled to the Star Wars Celebration . But that was to be expected, the first videos of a film always having the gift of awakening the most fertile imaginations. Just see the ones that circulate on the nature of the book previewed in the trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi to be convinced. And precisely, it is a rumor that the editorial of melty intends to speak to you today. A rumor that concerns Luke – yes, Still one – or rather an object that he would have in his possession in this film. As usual, it comes straight from the Making Star Wars site, whose old assumptions have often proved to be right, at least as far as Star Wars: The Reveil of the Force is concerned . According to them, then, Luke would have a necklace . But be careful, not just any … Making Star Wars indeed claims that it would contain a piece of kyber crystal. But not those that are used to make the Jedi’s lightabers, no. It would actually be a piece of red crystal . Yes, as red as the weapons the Sith brandish! At least as far as Star Wars: The Revival of Force. According to them, then, Luke would have a necklace . It would actually be a piece of red crystal . Yes, as red as the weapons wielded by the Sith!
And it would not be a coincidence since it would actually come from the Dark Vador’s lightsaber . In fact, the site relies on the idea that Luke would have retained pieces of his father’s weapon, transforming them into relics. So, can we really believe this rumor? In itself, she’s not that crazy. After all, Luke is crying for Anakin’s death in Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi, and one might think he has physically kept with him a kind of memory of his father. But he could just as well have taken the crystal tip to remember how dark the side seems to be seductive and that we must constantly guard against it. And then, of course, there are these words that he says in the trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and which suggest that he would like to see the Jedi disappear . The tip of red kyber crystal could very well illustrate the changes that time and hardships have entailed in Luke’s thought and philosophy . Besides, you have to keep in mind that crystals have recently become a reality in Star Wars movies thanks to Rogue One . So yes, this theory is plausible. This does not mean that it will be verified. Wait and see ! What do you think ? The tip of red kyber crystal could very well illustrate the changes that time and hardships have entailed in Luke’s thought and philosophy . And of course, there is of course K-2SO, the new droid of the saga and, incidentally, the co-pilot of Cassian and comic element of the film. Finally comical … let us say rather that his sarcastic and well-felt replies fly and that they tend to lighten a little atmosphere. But what you should know is that the robot does not always have the habit of saying, without filter, what passes through his head! Former droid of the Empire, he owes his freedom of speech and expression to Cassian, who completely reprogrammed him when he embarked with him and integrated him into the Rebel Alliance. And given the way he behaves in front of the Stormtroopers, It is clear that Kaytoo has completely forgotten what working for the Empire means. As a result, it is impossible to know what kind of tasks or missions he was able to perform on behalf of the opponents of the Rebel Alliance . At least until today. After all, when you discovered an unexpected Easter Egg in Star Wars: Rogue One , we finally learn what K-2SO was making within the Empire! And strangely, it’s not Garrett Edwards, the director of Star Wars: Rogue One , who reveals it to us. No, it’s Alan Tudyk , who lends his voice to the droid and who had the pleasure of putting on his costume, who does it! Impossible to know what kind of tasks or missions he was able to carry out for the opponents of the Rebel Alliance . At least until today. In an interview with the ComicBook site, the actor had fun describing his character’s life in the Empire. And so he reveals: ” .. His background was rather limited Knowing that he belonged to the Empire, he somehow got a renaissance when Cassian has rescheduled some ways, it was a slave He was a more stoic person, he had to follow orders, he was running in all directions, he was very busy with security, he had a bunch of keys hanging from his belt . Well then, now we know what kind of work (not frankly splitting) Kaytoo was in charge of performing for the Empire. As we suspected , his activities were rather basic, As it should be when one is a droid of the Empire . As a result, we prefer to think that, thanks to Cassian, who allowed him to develop a more dynamic personality, Kaytoo came to prefer his existence within the Rebel Alliance. Even if this led to destruction. So of course, these little details about the life of K-2SO are not overly important, but they will still please the fans curious to learn as much as possible about the film and its characters. Moreover, in the same vein, we now know where the name of the planet Scarif comes from, where the final battle of Star Wars: Rogue One takes place . Have a comment for Kaytoo? Kaytoo has come to prefer his existence to the Rebel Alliance. Even if this led to destruction. Of course, it is necessary to ensure that the characters and the events are consistent in the history of the franchise and that they do not contradict what happened in the previous opus . That is a very important point. But we forget that we must also pay attention to the most minute details, such as … the names of places and planets ! Because it is necessary to stay in the tone of the saga without also imagining completely improbable denominations. As a result, We imagine that Gareth Edwards and his screenwriter Gary Whitta had to brainstorm well when it was necessary to name the various planets of the first spin-off of Star Wars . Moreover, the director, who recently unveiled an unexpected Easter Egg present in Star Wars: Rogue One , has a funny anecdote to tell about it. An anecdote about the name of the planet Scarif, where the final battle of the film takes place, which he took the time to tell in an interview for CNN and that melty makes you share. Has a funny anecdote to tell about it. Has a funny anecdote to tell about it. An anecdote about the name of the planet Scarif, where the final battle of the film takes place, which he took the time to tell in an interview for CNN and that melty makes you share.
The director tells that, instructed by Gary Whitta to find the name of the planet, he had studied the matter at length. And that the inspiration finally came to him during a passage in a coffee of the famous signboards Starbucks! He said, ” I went to the Starbucks to have a coffee and said, ‘What could be his name?’ ‘But maybe we could use that?’ ‘And then [the waitress ] When I asked for my name, I answered ‘Gareth’, but they had to hear ‘Scarif’, they had written ‘Scarif’ on the goblet and I said to myself: .. It looks like something out of Star Wars’ I came home and I gave it to Gary and said, ‘her name Scarif.’ . And there’s no doubt that the anecdote itself will do the same, especially if it’s also featured in the complete guide to the Star Wars universe: Rogue One ! What do you think of the name of the planet? And there’s no doubt that the anecdote itself will do the same, especially if it’s also featured in the complete guide to the Star Wars universe: Rogue One ! It’s been more than three months since Star Wars: Rogue One has landed on our screens, taking everything in its path with its war narrative and her new heroine’s temperament. And even though the time has passed, we keep talking about it, proof that this first spin-off had a great effect on us! For if we thought it had been dissecting it long, broad and cross, it turns out that the film has in fact not yet revealed all its secrets. Melty has taught you just recently that Dark Vador was originally supposed to kill one of the main characters at the end of Star Wars: Rogue One , namely Orson Krennic. But besides the different versions of the scenario, Gareth Edwards, the director, And his writers also point out to us all the little details that escaped us – and what does it matter how many times we saw the movie! There is in particular a visual element which appears very briefly in the image but which is nevertheless in direct relation with … the swords-lasers of Jedi and their manufacture . Obviously, as you probably know, this famous detail has something to do with Jedha and the provenance of the kyber crystals!
In an interview for Collider, Gareth Edwards revealed that the city of Jedha was built … in a crater formed by a meteorite crashing on the moon of the same name millions of years ago. And it is the impact caused by the meteorite that actually caused the creation of kyber crystals! He explains: ” Some of the things we’ve done are actually visual clues to ideas that maybe no one will ever notice … If you look at the first image where you see Jedha, There is a gigantic circular rock formation around it.The idea is that a meteorite fell on Jedha and that the impact was so powerful that it led to the creation of the kyber crystals. Then Jedha became the only place in the galaxy where there is such a large density of kyber crystals, which the Jedi need to shape their lightabers. Because of this impact, Jedha became a kind of holy city. But it happened millions of years ago . “This explains the appearance of the city, which seems to emerge from the desert, as well as the presence of the Temple where the famous crystals were.
However, it must be admitted, seeing Jedha for the first time, obviously we have not made the comparison! So when Gareth Edwards finishes by saying, ” We tried to tell this story in this first image, where we see this circular formation whose heart is the city of Jedha . “, We want to tell him that we lacked a few elements to find out. But this also proves that Star Wars: Rogue One, whose alternative end has been unveiled , is full of references and visual details that enrich the universe of the intergalactic saga. Whether you notice them, finally, or not.
The post Star Wars Rogue One: A new unexpected Easter Egg unveiled by Gareth Edwards first appeared on The Siver Times.

Between the original script and the final version, there have been many changes and some scenes have even had to be returned. And the end of the film is part of these latest changes . In the version we saw in the cinema, Jyn Erso, Cassian and their other acolytes do not get away and fall with Scarif. An end, to say the least brutal, which was not really expected. And this is normal, since in the original version, Jyn Erso and Cassian were not to die ! It is the screenwriter Gary Whitta who revealed this information, describing how Star Wars: Rogue One was to end. “A rebel ship descended on Scarif to pick them up. The transfer of the plans for the Star of Death took place later. They were jumping and later Leia’s ship had to come from Alderaan to help them. The transfer of data between the vessels was then off Scarif , “he said.
And it’s not over ! Gary Whitta also said that, as in the final version, Darth Vader obviously did not say his last word and so went on to pursue this data, destroying Jyn Erso’s ship. It was then found on the ship of Leia, rebasculating on the famous scene that opened episode IV, A New Hope . But the film did not stop there! A last image was to show us the debris of Jyn Erso’s ship, and we would have learned that Jyn and Cassian had managed to escape before. In short, what a twist! But the question now is: why did you finally decide not to save them? Simply because in reality the basic idea was to kill them all but not being sure to be allowed to do so, They preferred to present a first version where Jyn and Cassian were getting along. Eventually, they were pleasantly surprised when Lucasfilm agreed that the entire crew was to die. And so their fate was sealed. Unless they find a way to get Jyn Erso back? And you, what do you think of this alternative end?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: The Alternative End Unveiled! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Given the end of Star Wars: Rogue One, Jyn is unlikely to reappear one day. Yet, for Felicity Jones, there would be a way to bring her back!
As the very first spin-off, Star Wars: Rogue One has more than managed his bet! Not only was he able to conquer the public and the fans of the license but he also managed to introduce new characters and to add new elements to his extended universe. But unlike Luke, Han or Rey, Jyn Erso, Cassian and company will probably never return to the big screen. And for good reason, the end of Star Wars: Rogue One , although necessary and logical, proves quite tragic, all the members of the rebel Jyn team each perishing their turn during their mission . A chain of deaths, moreover, which left us exhausted and heartbroken! But is there really no way to bring back some of our characters from the dead? Star Wars: Rogue One was originally supposed to end differently , including the survival of Jyn and Cassian. So how could our heroine eventually return to the Star Wars universe ? His interpreter, Felicity Jones, has his little idea on the matter!
Because imagine that the actress really believes that her character could one day come back. The only question is how! Interviewed by the HeyUGuys site on the subject, Felicity Jones, who said she loved the experience, had fun thinking about a way to get her character back. And as you will see, she has already explored a few tracks. ” I had an extraordinary experience and I could never have expected anything better – and people seemed to react well to that ,” she told the HeyUGuys site. ” It’s great to be part of that – who knows, maybe Jyn could reincarnate, you can imagine everything and anything, maybe it could come back in the form of a hologram! ” . Well, clearly, It’s unlikely that Jyn will reincarnate , as she was even pulverized at the end of Star Wars: Rogue One . And the theme of reincarnation has never been used in franchising.
On the other hand, yes, Jyn could come back in the form of a hologram, at the bend of a small cameo . We did not see him recording any message in the film but that does not mean that the possibility of seeing it again does not exist. After all, it inspired courage in the Rebel Alliance and allowed it to destroy the Black Star and stand up to the Empire! So it would not be surprising if Leia had somehow kept Jyn’s image. And if that’s not the case, we can still find it, as will also be the case for two other Star Wars characters: Rogue One, in the novel supposedly exploring his past . Would you like to see Jyn in another Star Wars movie?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: How Jyn Erso Could Return, According to Felicity Jones first appeared on The Siver Times.

There are still a lot of little details that we do not know about the characters and the Star Wars plot: Rogue One. Fortunately, the novel inspired by the film reveals them!
For every Star Wars movie that comes out, you obviously have to be careful what happens on the screen … but also what happens around it! For the books, the comics, the arts books that land each allow to add new stones to the edifice. And the first spin-off of the franchise of course does not derogate from the rule. Thus, we have four things about the character of Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen), the warrior monk of Star Wars: Rogue One , which we did not know until then , thanks to the art book ” Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide ” . But there is another book that can give us a lot of unpublished details about the film, its plot and its characters. And this book, of course, is the novel by Alexander Freed that takes the story of the spin-off step by step. Not only does it relate all the events of Star Wars: Rogue One but it also explores the past of some of our favorite protagonists and even goes back on some details passed over in silence in the film . Melty’s editorial reveals 5 secrets – among many others – revealed in the book Rogue One: A Star Wars Story !
The past life of the Erso
When one discovers the Erso family, it lives on the planet Lah’mu, far from the Empire, where Galen Erso plays the farmers. A rather amazing reconversion for this scientist who spent part of his life studying the kyber crystals, as Orson Krennic notes! As we told you when we discussed the 3 issues raised by the saga Star Wars: Rogue One is responding to , Galen actually fled the Empire after he understood what he was planning to do with his research. The book Rogue One: A Star Wars Story reveals that if Galen has adapted to life of a farmer, he, however, never stopped being a scientist . But instead of devoting himself to the kyber crystals, he studied the study of the vegetation and soil composition of Lah’mu. As for Lyra Erso, we learn that she was always wary of the Empire – not least because of her faith in the Force – and was even tempted to leave Galen and take Jyn away from Coruscant. But once on Lah’mu, far from Krennic and her bad influence, Lyra obviously adapted very well to her new life, which she took to love . We understand why she tries to kill Krennic at the beginning of the film. No question for her to return to the bosom of the Empire!
Jyn’s violent past in the group of Saw Gerrera
When you think about it, you do not know much about what Jyn did after his parents died. Collected by Saw Gerrera, it is clear that she fought alongside her rebel group, where she certainly learned how to defend herself like a pro. And according to the novel, Cassian is not alone in getting his hands dirty! According to the book, Jyn has committed many acts of violence, learning to fight, to fly, to survive at all costs . Yes, Jyn is a soldier of the same sort as Cassian, and, knowing the fanaticism of Saw Gerrera, one suspects that she must have been forced to show herself often unforgiving. Then, inevitably, like our Rebel, Jyn also seeks in her new mission a form of redemption for all the reprehensible acts that she was able to commit in her youth.
Former Imperialists in the Rebel Alliance
We do not necessarily know that, but a large part of the members of the Rebel Alliance actually worked for the Empire . We remember the cases of Biggs and Wedge, who also made a discreet cameo in Star Wars: Rogue One , the two X-Wing drivers present in A New Hope. These two men initially integrated the Empire before deserting and joining the Rebel Alliance. The Star Wars inspired book Rogue One reveals that they are far from being isolated cases and that there are even recruiters to convince some Imperialists to desert. Cassian himself would have allowed to return several dozen soldiers of the Empire to make Rebels. In fact, it would seem that nearly half of the Rebel Alliance is made up of converted Imperials!
What did the Rebel Alliance of the Black Star really know?
When Star Wars: Rogue One begins, it is clear that the Rebel Alliance has only a very, very vague idea of what the Empire does and is not aware of the existence of the Black Star. It is enough to see the head that Cassian makes when his informant Tivek speaks to him for the first time of the ” planet killer ” to understand that the rebels were far from surrender of the threat. However, the Alliance is not unaware of the fact that things are not very clear. Simply because the information is fragmentary and often comes from Saw Gerrera – who is considered a dangerous fanatic out of control – she does not lend too much faith to what she hears. And then it must also be emphasized that not everyone sees the Emperor in the same eye! If some know that it is profoundly evil, others see it as … a mere corrupt politician and drunk with power , but not necessarily like a tyrant capable of exploding planets to assert his authority!
During the Battle of Scarif, Admiral Raddus demonstrated a certain military genius that allowed the Rebel Alliance to recover the Black Star’s plans. Using a Hammerhead shuttle to crash a Destroyer out of service on another Destroyer, all this to blow up the planet’s shield, you had to think about it! But what happened to the brave rebels on board the corvette? In the novel Rogue One, we learn from Star Wars Story that fortunately a large part of the crew manages to evacuate the ship, called Lightmaker (a very symbolic name!) Before it launches into its Suicide mission. Only then, his captain, named Kado Oquoné, stayed aboard with a few volunteers to operate the corvette. And they do not escape. In order to pay homage to them, Raddus swears then to give the name of the crew of the Lightmaker to his great-grandchildren. Provided he survives himself in battle! What do you think ?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: 5 secrets about the plot and the characters unveiled in the novel! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Elsewhere the 28th film of the History (and the 3rd one of the universe Star Wars) exceeded the billion dollars of receipts. A real success for this first derivative of the intergalactic universe that gave mixed opinions at the beginning of its production . But the result is there, fans as well as critics were thrilled with the feature film of Gareth Edwards who is nominated Oscar in the category “Best Special Effects”. While a comprehensive guide to the Star Wars universe Rogue One film will soon be available on March 28, the release date of the DVD and Blu-Ray should be around the same period. Will he like in the edition of the Force Alarm many bonuses, featurettes and especially cut scenes? This is what we hope in any case, and we should not be the only ones! Remember that many scenes in the film had to be shot again, can we then see a few and learn the why of how this new shoot?
Even better, could part of the team still be alive in the first version? In the first trailer for Rogue One can see Jyn Cassian and run under enemy fire, the rebel holding plans in his hand. Only in the cinema, these plans never left the base, Jyn carrying them to the top of the Tower in order to transmit them to the Rebel fleet. Did some members of the team have to stay alive? Not at all ! Gareth Edwards spoke in Empire by announcing that there was no version of the film where the team survived: “I was waiting for someone to me ‘You know what? Should we shoot a scene more? where we would see Jyn Cassian and living on another planet? But it never happened. Nobody gave us this bill, so we did ” . A sad news for some fans, just the fact of keeping them alive would have added a new question to the three issues raised by the film saga resolved : why the team would be absent from A New Hope in this case? In any case, we are looking forward to discovering what the Blu-Ray edition has to offer! Will you buy Blu-Ray?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: An alternative end planned? first appeared on The Siver Times.

With Rey and Jyn Erso (which we now know where does the name in Star Wars Rogue One) , the last two films of the franchise we have offered powerful heroines and far from having a smooth personality. Girl Power ! Except that, maybe not so much in the end. A recent study of Rogue One , supported by Europe Newsweek says that as badass as are the female recruits of the saga, they would be in the minority when it comes to talking to the screen. This is the scientific Amber Thomas embarked on a thorough study of the dialogues of Rogue One , concluding that all the women present on the screen pronounced in total … 27% of the dialogues . Oops, we know one that it’s going to fire up.
So, of course, we are already super happy to see that women weigh in the game Star Wars (and this is not what GIF Jyn Erso combat that will tell us otherwise). When it was released, the film was applauded for its feminist dimension and the power it gave to her heroine. But the survey figures recall that there is still some work to the team at work behind the blockbuster: a total of 9% of the characters are women, droids and aliens included. Taken together, Jyn, Mothma and Leia Organa accumulate 17% of the dialog Rogue One . Well, in the case of Leia Organa is rather logical: it appears that a minute during a cameo, Carrie Fisher confided besides worshiping in Star Wars Rogue One before his disappearance. Where it is more surprising, it is on Jyn Erso’s side! That said, let us not forget that what may be more important is the quality and not the quantity of the words spoken by the characters. And if we had remembered best final of the relevant sentences heroines Rogue One ? In your opinion, should the Star Wars franchise put even more emphasis on its heroines?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: Does the film make enough of its heroines? first appeared on The Siver Times.

After Star Wars: The Force Alarm , it’s the turn of Star Wars: Rogue One upgrade to a woman as a main character. And what a woman! Jyn Erso is clearly not used to letting oneself walk on her feet and she does not hesitate to plunge headlong into the worst dangers if the situation requires it. It must be said that after being raised by this fanatical warrior of Saw Guerrera, our heroine is rather adorned to face the ordeals. So, there is not much wrong with falling in love with this young woman fired character who ends up joining the Rebel Alliance to honor the memory and sacrifice of his father . And remains moreover very intriguing since it is unclear who Jyn was before fighting for the rebels in Star Wars: Rogue One . Fortunately, we can count on the team of the film to reveal us little by little some details about the character. And today is John Knoll, in charge of special effects at Industrial Light and Magic , which reveals information about Jyn, to find out where the character and how he found his name !
John Knoll, who first submitted to Kathleen Kennedy the idea of telling the theft of the Black Star’s plans in the spin-off, also contributed to the creation of Jyn. For the name, it was inspired by … the women in his life ! He tells so to Yahoo! Movies: ” I wanted the main character of the film is an intelligent, strong and active I have three daughters who are growing and who were very young when I started working on the film I felt.. That one could really use another female character strong and determined for Star Wars.My youngest girl is called Jane and my wife, Jen, so [Jyn] is a bit the result of a mash-up between the two . And when I was a child, I called my aunt Ginny, [a nickname] to Virginia, so there’s a bit of that in the name too. it’s a mixture of all the women in my life . “. Like what, the meltynauts, do not necessarily look far to find inspiration! In any case John Knoll that we must Jyn Erso the existence and the fact that the main character of Star Wars: Rogue One is a woman. On the other hand, he does not tell us anything about his last name. Anyway, Jyn Erso, which is found in the company of Cassian on images deleted scenes from Star Wars: Rogue One , has quite found its place in the universe of the saga! What did you think of Jyn Erso?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: Jyn Erso, where does his name come from? first appeared on The Siver Times.

With the spinoff titled Star Wars Rogue One , the writers were able to expand this vast universe created by George Lucas in 77 while creating a strong character Jyn Erso. This member of the Rebels, played by Felicity Jones, has a huge background that could, why not be even more developed in comics or novels around the character ahead of events Rogue One . There are few, ScreenRant was lucky during an event dedicated to the press about Star Wars Rogue One, which could be as big a financial success that The Force Alarm , ask a question Felicity Jones about Jyn Erso’s past . His answer should please you.
“I spend a lot of time thinking about it, I think Jyn is very lonely, she was a little delinquent, she had to grow up without her parents, she had to survive on her own, her only mentor was Saw Gerrera, Can see in the opening of Rogue One.It was her guide, both spiritual and emotional, but that did not stop Jyn from learning life on her own.It is a woman on the defensive in a way. There was a lot of fight in it . “. Confidences which lay the foundations of what could be the past of the heroine of Star Wars Rogue One, who nearly had a different ending . That of a strong character, which had to be built alone to become what it is today. What do you think ?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: Who was Jyn Erso before the rebellion? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Chirrut is the character who recalls the existence of the Force in Star Wars: Rogue One. But did you know that the film almost brought a Jedi into his plot?
” A Star Wars without Skywalker, Jedi without without the Force? Seriously? Is that possible? “. That’s us at the time of the announcement of the start of construction of Star Wars: Rogue One . And now that the movie is released on our screens, we know that, yes, a Star Wars without Skywalker and without the Force, it is possible. And that it is even hyper cool. For Rogue One is totally different from other films of our favorite intergalactic saga but extends its universe intelligently and with a tone that we immediately conquered , even if it is darker than anything we could See until now. That heroes are ultimately ordinary people who only succeed in their mission by their courage without having the advantage of resting on the Force, only makes them more endearing. So much so that some of us would have hoped that the end of Star Wars: Rogue One is different … Except that in fact a mystical element has almost become embedded in the plot of the movie ! Imagine, the meltynautes, in a first version of the script Rogue One , a Jedi would indeed make an appearance! Attention, SPOILERS!
Well, we notify you immediately, it was not Yoda or Obi-Wan, who is still mentioned in Star Wars: Rogue One, which earned him a place alongside the best cameos of the film . No, originally, the Jedi in question that was to appear was actually linked to Jyn Erso, our heroine. And for good reason, it was his mother! Chris Weitz, the writer of Rogue One and accurately in the art book ” The Art of Rogue One: A Story Star Wars “: ” For a time, the Jedi were to be part of the background of the story, even if they Jyn’s mother was a Jedi, but we thought it would be more interesting to have a story without the Force and without a saber-laser. The despair exists because the Jedi have disappeared and with them, for some, the very memory of the Force, which meant that our story was concentrated on normal characters who resisted on their own . “.
Well, that’s sure it’s funny but we see where the writer is coming from. However, we understand why Lyra Erso ( Valene Kane ) believes it deeply into the Force – which also surprised us, the Force is considered by many as a ” lousy trick ” at the time (huh, Han ?) – and why it has in its possession a kyber crystal , they used to shape the laser-swords Jedi. Maybe even the one that Jyn’s mother would have liked to use to create her weapon, who knows … Anyway, Lyra being condemned to die quickly, she probably would not have had one Great impact on the plot of Rogue One. And she could not have helped her daughter and her companions to steal the plans of the Black Star. So in the end it may be more interesting to see her as a character who knew how to keep faith in the Force in spite of hardships and who could pass on some of her beliefs to Jyn. And there is no doubt that these help our heroine to pass through the trials that stand in her way! And then finally Disney and Lucasfilm changed everything.

The subject had been slightly touched when we wondered if a result was possible for Star Wars Rogue One , but it seems clear that the end of the film was changed. The conclusion of Rogue One seemed very dark, especially for a movie of Disney Studios, which are generally very attached to films not too bloody and more “family-friendly” conclusions. So when you get out of Rogue One, you’re bound to wonder what happened. Especially since the first trailer for Rogue One has so many scenes that are not in the final version of the film that the scenario has necessarily experienced quite drastic changes.

A much less dark end
“We assumed they would not let us. […] So I try to find a fun where it did not happen. And then everyone read and there was that feeling of “They must die no?” And everyone was saying “Yeah, can we?”. We thought we would not have the right but Kathy and the people at Disney said, “Yeah, it makes sense since they’re not in New Hope.” I kept waiting until Someone tells me “You know what? Can not we do an extra scene where we see Jyn and Cassian, they’re okay and on another planet? “And it never happened.” Explained Gareth Edwards on the subject. Inevitably, one suspects that there is a little more to this story than what the director wants to say but it should remain a secret of production. In any case, Snape One was a very different Star Wars other.
The post Star Wars Rogue One: The end of the movie had to be very different first appeared on The Siver Times.

The end of Star Wars: Rogue One can not leave indifferent. But the origin, Gareth Edwards thought to have to offer another conclusion to his film! Warning, spoilers …
Being a rebel in Star Wars is accepting to everyday life in danger … and make sacrifices. And even more so when it is necessary to infiltrate into an imperial base to steal the plans of the most terrible weapon of the Empire! So naturally, when we moved our headquarters to watch Star Wars: Rogue One , is resigned immediately to see at least one or two members of the team Jyn leave their skin. So yes, we are preparing for the worst. Except that – and there, if you have not seen the movie, the editorial ‘of melty warns you that the following contains some major SPOILERS – we frankly did not expect that. Because it is not one or two of the rebel group who die in combat, but all up K-2 SO, which represents the only small comic element of Star Wars: Rogue One ! And in addition, the film spares us nothing, aligning the dead one after the other. Tears, despair, anger, trauma … the end has destroyed us. In short, this is (very) sad, that we die the heart despite our mental preparation and, suddenly, the victory is a little bitter taste . Especially when you know that … the movie almost had a completely different ending!
And yes, Gareth Edwards told Empire that originally some members of Jyn Erso’s rebel team had to survive Scarif’s attack. In reality, neither the team nor the director had thought that the studios would accept to see all the characters die . ” . In the first version, they will not survive And then we just thought we could not do that. ‘. They never let us do that’ so I tried to understand how it could finish Otherwise, and everyone has read it and we all have the same feeling: ‘They have to die, right?’ And everyone said, ‘Yes, can we do that?’ . “But fortunately for Gareth Edwards, studios and Lucasfilm were less strict than he thought. and suddenly, he chose to kill everyone, even Jyn and Cassian.
” We thought we would not have the right to do that but Kathleen [Kennedy] and the people of Lucasfilm told us: ‘Yes, that makes sense.’ […] I expect that someone. one to tell me: ‘You know what will we could not make a scene in addition to which we would see Jyn and Cassian, safely on another planet?’ But no one ever did. . “He continues. And that is how our heroine and the rebel captain have also seen condemned to die . Their death is not shown explicitly, but there is nothing to stop us from imagining them alive, somewhere, right? But, no matter how sad, the death of our courageous characters only makes their sacrifice more beautiful and, above all, reminds us that the Rebel Alliance is ready for everything, even the worst sacrifices, to put an end to the domination of The Empire. And this dimension of desperate resistance was not at the heart of the first trilogy, it had escaped us a little. At least we know there is little chance to see all these actors in other films Star Wars, even Ben Mendelsohn and Mads Mikkelsen – whose characters also perish in Rogue One – told us want to retry the Adventure! What did you think of the end of the film?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: The movie almost ended up having a different ending! first appeared on The Siver Times.
