And of course, there is of course K-2SO, the new droid of the saga and, incidentally, the co-pilot of Cassian and comic element of the film. Finally comical … let us say rather that his sarcastic and well-felt replies fly and that they tend to lighten a little atmosphere. But what you should know is that the robot does not always have the habit of saying, without filter, what passes through his head! Former droid of the Empire, he owes his freedom of speech and expression to Cassian, who completely reprogrammed him when he embarked with him and integrated him into the Rebel Alliance. And given the way he behaves in front of the Stormtroopers, It is clear that Kaytoo has completely forgotten what working for the Empire means. As a result, it is impossible to know what kind of tasks or missions he was able to perform on behalf of the opponents of the Rebel Alliance . At least until today. After all, when you discovered an unexpected Easter Egg in Star Wars: Rogue One , we finally learn what K-2SO was making within the Empire! And strangely, it’s not Garrett Edwards, the director of Star Wars: Rogue One , who reveals it to us. No, it’s Alan Tudyk , who lends his voice to the droid and who had the pleasure of putting on his costume, who does it! Impossible to know what kind of tasks or missions he was able to carry out for the opponents of the Rebel Alliance . At least until today. In an interview with the ComicBook site, the actor had fun describing his character’s life in the Empire. And so he reveals: ” .. His background was rather limited Knowing that he belonged to the Empire, he somehow got a renaissance when Cassian has rescheduled some ways, it was a slave He was a more stoic person, he had to follow orders, he was running in all directions, he was very busy with security, he had a bunch of keys hanging from his belt . Well then, now we know what kind of work (not frankly splitting) Kaytoo was in charge of performing for the Empire. As we suspected , his activities were rather basic, As it should be when one is a droid of the Empire . As a result, we prefer to think that, thanks to Cassian, who allowed him to develop a more dynamic personality, Kaytoo came to prefer his existence within the Rebel Alliance. Even if this led to destruction. So of course, these little details about the life of K-2SO are not overly important, but they will still please the fans curious to learn as much as possible about the film and its characters. Moreover, in the same vein, we now know where the name of the planet Scarif comes from, where the final battle of Star Wars: Rogue One takes place . Have a comment for Kaytoo? Kaytoo has come to prefer his existence to the Rebel Alliance. Even if this led to destruction. Of course, it is necessary to ensure that the characters and the events are consistent in the history of the franchise and that they do not contradict what happened in the previous opus . That is a very important point. But we forget that we must also pay attention to the most minute details, such as … the names of places and planets ! Because it is necessary to stay in the tone of the saga without also imagining completely improbable denominations. As a result, We imagine that Gareth Edwards and his screenwriter Gary Whitta had to brainstorm well when it was necessary to name the various planets of the first spin-off of Star Wars . Moreover, the director, who recently unveiled an unexpected Easter Egg present in Star Wars: Rogue One , has a funny anecdote to tell about it. An anecdote about the name of the planet Scarif, where the final battle of the film takes place, which he took the time to tell in an interview for CNN and that melty makes you share. Has a funny anecdote to tell about it. Has a funny anecdote to tell about it. An anecdote about the name of the planet Scarif, where the final battle of the film takes place, which he took the time to tell in an interview for CNN and that melty makes you share.
The director tells that, instructed by Gary Whitta to find the name of the planet, he had studied the matter at length. And that the inspiration finally came to him during a passage in a coffee of the famous signboards Starbucks! He said, ” I went to the Starbucks to have a coffee and said, ‘What could be his name?’ ‘But maybe we could use that?’ ‘And then [the waitress ] When I asked for my name, I answered ‘Gareth’, but they had to hear ‘Scarif’, they had written ‘Scarif’ on the goblet and I said to myself: .. It looks like something out of Star Wars’ I came home and I gave it to Gary and said, ‘her name Scarif.’ . And there’s no doubt that the anecdote itself will do the same, especially if it’s also featured in the complete guide to the Star Wars universe: Rogue One ! What do you think of the name of the planet?

K-2SO is the new droid of the Star Wars saga, introduced in Rogue One. So, between C-3PO, R2-D2 and him, which one is best? Warning, spoilers!
Ah, here’s a situation that should not please C-3PO! For a long time (decades actually), our favorite intergalactic diva and her little reckless constant companion, R2-D2 droids remained the only stars of Star Wars . And in just two years, two other robots have come to compete with them! First there was the adorable and mischievous BB-8, the mascot of the new trilogy. And then it’s K-2 SO (Alan Tudyk), who arrived from nowhere in Star Wars: Rogue One and, suddenly, makes them shade . For it must be admitted that the droid, with his way of saying without filter or make up what he thinks, did not take long to conquer us. So, R2 and 3PO, who still took the time to do a cameo in Star Wars: Rogue One , may have some reason to worry. If we do not go so far as to say that K-2SO completely steals the show (should not push anyway), the fact that it has some trumps that make it as cool as our other two droids stars.
It must be admitted, K-2SO is rather unique in its kind! If it is as pessimistic as 3PO – and that’s a feat in itself – and as brave as R2, it is above all … very sarcastic ! Sometimes even more than Han itself, which is not much to say. What makes K-2 SO comic element of Star Wars: Rogue One , his black humor and cynical sticking well to the dark atmosphere and the harsh tone of the film. Whether he gives the probability of success rate of a mission (often not high, you will have noticed) or his somewhat adversarial relationship with Jyn, the droid is certainly the best punchline of the whole movie. We remember very well the first remark he made to our heroine after having knocked out: ” Congratulations on being rescued Do not resist.. .” Here is a cold statement that clearly announces the color of the character!
If there is a time believed that K-2 SO would endanger Jyn and other rebels in Star Wars: Rogue One , partly because it is, after all, an old droid of the Empire, it is ultimately also Loyal than trustworthy, Cassian and him maintaining a little the same kind of relationship as Han and Chewbacca. Moreover, the fans were not mistaken and immediately adopted Kaytoo and his sense of humor a little particular. ” K-2 SO is by far my favorite Star Wars droid! Sorry, R2 .”, Says even a user on Twitter. K 2 SO-LA is a little revelation of Star Wars: Rogue One , combining good replicas sassy as we like and nobility and strength of character. And he shall say (almost) famous classic replica of the saga: “I have a bad feeling .”. Before Cassian asked him to close his clapper … So where could it be if we decided to establish a top 3 with R2 and 3PO as competitors?
After careful consideration, melty says that K 2 SO could take … second place, just ahead of R2-D2 ! Because it must be admitted – and even if the choice is difficult – R2 has a slight disadvantage compared to the other two: we do not understand! His ” beeps ” are certainly very excited explicit but the meaning of his speech remains rather obscure for us if C-3PO and Luke are not there to translate. Which does not prevent us from worshiping the little droid with all our heart. As for C-3PO, he can only occupy the first place (and no doubt he is delighted) simply because it is THE comic Star Wars raised from day one . He complains very much, of course, it can be annoying too, but it is above all a little the voice of common sense. He who would rather play wisely protocol robots is always found embedded in stories not possible, which makes his reactions and reflections all the more funny. And 3PO has an advantage over K 2 SO: It’s just been there longer and had much more opportunity to build close ties with fans of Star Wars . But the second place, for a droid who has just landed and who will probably not have the chance to show up, is already very honorable! So, we come to say that we would have liked the end of Star Wars: Rogue One is different to be able to see him – even if Kaytoo bows with great panache. And you, which of the three do you prefer?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: K-2SO, C-3PO and R2-D2, which is the best? first appeared on The Siver Times.

The appearances of Dark Vador in Star Wars: Rogue One have conquered everyone! So much so that one wonders if the villain would not deserve his spin-off too.
Already because a black man with a terrifying helmet who breathes like a bellows of forge and who is able to strangle his subordinates just with his mind, is maliciously cool and it marks. Secondly, because, casually, Darth Vader is above all a tragic figure , whose fall is told us in the prequels and whose redemption comes at a time of his death. His two appearances in brutal Rogue One, the first exciting spin-off of Star Wars comes out to the movies, they fall on already in the list of the best scenes of the saga – we shudder in yet! So, in melty, one comes to ask: Darth Vader he deserves his own spin-off? Star Wars: Rogue One has proved that one can explore events and secondary characters in the saga, to depart from its usual tone to offer something new, while massively attractive to the public. This opens the door to infinite possibilities. And they are many fans who, after seeing Rogue One , calling for a spin-off of the Dark Lord. But is the idea really good?
Star wars the return of the jedi, star wars rogue one, dark vador, spin-off, palpatine
The relationship between Palpatine and Dark Vador is only superficially evoked in the first trilogy
As stated above, Darth Vader is an icon, not just in the world of Star Wars . You may never have seen any movie of the license, you know nevertheless necessarily who it is. So yes, if we consider that this is one of the most famous villains in cinema history, Vader obviously a fascinating subject . And there would be things to tell about him! We could see the last hunt Jedi who survived Order 66 issued by Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith or observe the development of the father-son type of relationship a little unhealthy with the Emperor. Besides the Rebel Alliance existed for several years begin when Star Wars: Rogue One and A New Hope and he certainly had the opportunity to chop menu rebel before crossing the road to Leia.
In short, as the spin-off of Han Solo, the start date of filming was unveiled , a movie about Darth Vader could allow to explore the gray areas that still surround the character . And give us the opportunity to find the wicked one whom we adore! Especially since, unlike the spin-off on the youth of Han Solo, there is no need to tear his hair out to find the perfect interpreter since he would remain hidden under the imposing costume and the mask of Dark Vader. It would simply have to have the desired build and, of course, that James Earl Jones agrees to duplicate it.
However, we have to face the obvious. If Darth Vader is so popular, so remarkable is precisely because … we do not see it much . Whether in the first trilogy or Rogue One , the Sith Lord is ultimately a secondary character, powerful, terrifying and necessary to the plot certainly, but still high, the three films about the foremost Course of Luke. Moreover, the fact that Dark Vador is much more appreciated than Anakin, while it is the two facets of the same character, speaks volumes! Finally, the less the villain makes apparitions, the more intense and striking they are. So putting him in the shoes of the main character of his own film could tarnish his aura. Especially because, in the end, we did not really want to know EVERYTHING about him . The shadows and the mysteries that surround his path contribute to fuel his legend and that is also why we adore the character. Not to mention that the massacre of the rebel or the Jedi could quickly become repetitive, quickly accustoming us to the brutality of the character until it loses all flavor (no, we are not psychopaths, not at all !). Darth Vader is an almost sacred figure of the saga Star Wars and, by providing a spin-off, the studios could dent fault of their own image. Unless of course to find the perfect story, which nevertheless would not remove the risky side of such an undertaking. That said, there is no doubt that such a film would easily attract the crowds in the dark rooms! And you, would you like to see a spin-off on Dark Vader?
The post Star Wars Rogue One: Does Dark Vador deserve his own Spin Off? first appeared on The Siver Times.
