A risk all the same minimized by Deadpool which with its small budget became the most profitable film under this label. Logan (whose concept-arts revealed what the Reavers prosthetics looked like) will he join his mutant companion (with whom he is used to frying in comics) becoming the Wolverine who has reported the most The franchise ? It would seem that yes … X-Men Origins: Wolverine had for example reported $ 373,062,864 for a budget of $ 150,000,000 . Rather honorable.
Wolverine: The Immortal Combat had done much better with a budget of $ 120,000,000 for $ 414,828,246 in revenue. Logan, of which Hugh Jackman would have liked a different end , is truly the most profitable franchise with a budget of $ 97,000,000 and – for now – $ 500,000,000 won worldwide. A figure above its predecessors whereas the film has cost much less (and is still exploited in hundreds of rooms!). It is the director James Mangold who must be glad to have been able to impose a film with a limited budget and violence that could have limited the entries. What do you think of these figures?
The post Logan: The most profitable Wolverine film of the franchise? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Logan is certainly an intense and impressive film but some elements of his plot have left us puzzled. So here are 3 questions we ask after seeing it!
And here, the chaotic and difficult course of Wolverine ended on a tragic but necessary note. Logan , with its heavy atmosphere and life-defeated characters, turns out to be one of the best films in the X-Men franchise , finally giving our hero to the adamantium claws the solo story he deserved. However, as incredible as Logan may be, some elements of his plot have left us a little perplexed. And several questions remained unanswered when the credits began to scroll. Among these, there is of course the one concerning the events of Westchester, which are only evoked in Logan and never shown. Even if we can get a good idea of what happened thanks to the different information that we get during the film. But Logan also leaves us with other questions, some directly related to the situation of the mutants as described. So we certainly want to bow to the suspension of disbelief dear to the poet Coleridge, but it is also clear that we can not help but ask a few questions about several elements of the film .
What is Eden?
We hear for the first time of Eden thanks to the nurse who saved Laura. As the name implies, this place would be a kind of paradise for the mutants , who would live there together and in peace. This explains why Laura is so determined to go there. Only here, we soon learn that this famous Eden is only mentioned … in the comics about the X Men who, in Logan , relate in part the past adventures of our heroes. Well, it turns out that Eden – or at least something approaching – exists in a corner of Canada. The evidence shows that children who have escaped from Transigen receive an anonymous call from across the border inviting them to pass into the neighboring country. But the question that then arises is: What is Eden and how was it created? Because in this world where mutants have almost all disappeared, where they are once again perceived as a real threat because of the Westchester events, it is hard to see how such a place could exist with impunity . And most importantly, how did the nurses in Transigen know that there really was … even though the other teams in the project, including the Reavers, did not seem to know? That is very mysterious. How did the nurses in Transigen know that there really was … even though the other teams in the project, including the Reavers, did not seem to know? That is very mysterious. How did the nurses in Transigen know that there really was … even though the other teams in the project, including the Reavers, did not seem to know? That is very mysterious.
How did the other children survive?
If, like Logan, you were surprised to find yourself in the middle of a band of mutant children at the end of the movie, melty reassures you, you probably are not alone! We still wonder how the small group managed to find their way to these huts not far from the Canadian border, without the visible help of anyone. When one sees just how much Logan and Laura have gone so far, it is evidently hard to accept that these children have reached their destination as quickly . Not that their abilities are questioned! It was clear that together they were able to stand up to a group of well-trained Reavers. But we also saw that in the end they were not big enough to fight indefinitely. Especially since, as we understand it, The Reavers used to track adult mutants and therefore all the more tough. And it was certainly not the terrified nurses who brought them out who were able to protect them from the Reavers and lead them up to that point! So to say that seeing them all together is a bit of a miracle. Unless, of course, Laura was the only one to be hunted that way.
Is Transigen really responsible for the disappearance of mutants?
In Logan , the majority of mutants have disappeared, the last survivors trying to hide their difference from the rest of the world. But worse, no mutant child seems to have come into the world for several years. The reasons for this phenomenon are however given us soon: it is of course Transigen who is behind their disappearance . Not only did the project developers track down all the mutants to eliminate them, but they also found a way to suppress the mutant gene in people. This is just genetically modified corn syrup. And then, we think that it seems a little too big to be true. Already because, even if Americans are really addicted to corn syrup, it is obvious that they do not all drink. This is statistically impossible. Second, because the problem of the disappearance of mutants appears to be global and not restricted to America. So how did Transigen succeed in flooding the world with her famous corn syrup? We want to believe that it has replaced Coca (and still!) But not that the whole world could be touched. Or then Transigen has a very, very long arm … What did you think of the film? ) But not that the whole world could be affected. Or then Transigen has a very, very long arm … What did you think of the film? ) But not that the whole world could be affected. Or then Transigen has a very, very long arm … What did you think of the film?
The post Logan: 3 questions that arise after the end of the film first appeared on The Siver Times.

Absolutely everything ! But if he remains able to shred his opponents into pieces, Logan is clearly tired and exhausted, defeated by the events that marked his life. And among these, of course, is the disappearance of the X-Men, which should have appeared in Logan , and more precisely in an opening scene where we would have seen what happened to them as melty could reveal it to you. But all this part of the past of our hero and of Charles Xavier is never explicitly told and only mentioned by name: the Westchester incident . Of course, Fans of the X-Men immediately recognized the term ” Westchester “, which actually refers to the county where the mutant school founded by Charles Xavier is located. So of course, this famous incident is never shown on the screen in Logan , but by sticking together the pieces of information that the film wants to offer us and the comments of some of our characters, it is possible to make a A fairly precise idea of what might have happened. Warning, spoilers! But by sticking together the pieces of information that the film wants to offer us and the comments of some of our characters, it is possible to get a fairly accurate idea of what might have happened. Warning, spoilers! But by sticking together the pieces of information that the film wants to offer us and the comments of some of our characters, it is possible to get a fairly accurate idea of what might have happened. Warning, spoilers!
We hear several times in Logan about the ” Westchester incident “, notably through radio and television. And this is how it is learned that many people were wounded during this tragic event – without actually knowing how many victims lost their lives. It is easy to understand, however, that Charles Xavier is no stranger to this whole story . In fact, he is even responsible! Professor X is in fact subject to crises that make him lose control of his powers and make him dangerous for all those around him. We even witnessed two of these crises, that of the hotel affecting no less than 600 people, that only Logan has the means to stop.
So it does not take us long to understand that the disappearance of the X-Men and the closure of the school for gifted ones have actually been caused by one of these loss of control. Charles Xavier himself confesses to us almost during this terrible night when he was assassinated by X-24, telling the man he believes to be Logan that he remembers what happened at Westchester. And let him remember having committed an unpardonable act . This is enough to make us understand that Professor X is responsible for the incident that led to the dissolution of the X-Men – certainly their deaths – and the abandonment of the school. And that may have led to a virulent reaction on the part of the government against the mutants.
So if Logan is partly devastated by his past and what he has done most awful during his life, he is not the only one to bear the burden of guilt! The world as described in the film is far from pleasing. The frightful fall of Charles Xavier, who has always been described as a brilliant and, above all, powerful and resistant spirit, finds its source in the Westchester incident. But he also explains in large part Logan’s behavior towards his mentor, this mixture of resignation tinged with aggressiveness and thoughtfulness. If Charles Xavier is responsible for the death of the X-Men, among whom was also Jean Gray, who should have been mentioned personally in the film , He is none the less the man who offered a roof and a family to our hero at a time when this one knew only a violent and solitary life . So much to say that he ultimately owes him a lot. The journey of the two characters turns out to be particularly bitter and one does not dare to imagine the torments that they had to live after the Westchester incident. If Laura appears as the instrument of redemption for Logan, she certainly fulfills the same role for Charles Xavier! What did you think of the film? Still there, you could not resist and you rushed into the dark rooms to discover Hugh Jackman’s latest adventure as Wolverine . A film directed by James Mangold that will remain engraved in our minds, so it was cool, although the end was not frankly a Happy Ending. Yes, Logan dies after an impressive battle, under the tears of X-23 aka Laura his daughter. A rather difficult end to watch that was not necessarily the first choice of Hugh Jackman who told Yahoo: “L ‘
He continues : “But I said ‘let’s stay open, maybe the end will be more powerful if he lives … James was always certain about how the film was to end and finally he was right. Unlike a human figure, this is what is most poignant for someone supposed to be invincible, to die and to say to each other ‘that’s what it is’ . ” We agree, the end of Logan is hyper-striking and the scene was worthy of the mutant, a beautiful end offered to this emblematic character. In addition, the end of Logan had already been teased in The Wolverine so it would have been a shame to change it! What did you think of the end of Logan?
The post Logan: Hugh Jackman would have liked a different ending first appeared on The Siver Times.

However, Fox does not intend to abandon the character who possesses a strong narrative potential and the ability to offer many other powerful adventures like Logan, whose X-Men were to appear in the film . In an interview for the Hollywood Reporter , Hugh Jackman was quite comfortable with someone taking over the role that made him known to the general public. “The character must continue to exist and Someone else will embody it, for sure! ” before’
Hugh Jackman explained “If Daniel Day-Lewis replaced me and won an Oscar for that, we would have a little problem … ” Because yes: Daniel Day-Lewis won the best actor award three times at the prestigious ceremony thanks to his exceptional acting method! Imagine if the actor endorsed the role of Logan … the result would be simply bluffing . And even if this trait of humor on the part of Hugh Jackman can make smile, the Fox could take it very seriously. Episode to follow then. Meanwhile, the movie Logan (which according to our review is one of the most intense end claps) is still showing. In addition, The opportunity to discover a tortured and fragile mutant ready to do anything to protect his progeny in the person of X-23. What do you think of this interview?
The post Logan: Who to replace Hugh Jackman? And in terms of fallen heroes, Logan, who came out on our screens last week , knows what he’s talking about! Charles Xavier as Wolverine are clearly at the end of the scroll, especially as they have to live with their remorse related to the disappearance of the X-Men. Because yes, no member of the superhero group seems to have survived, which also explains why Logan finds himself alone to take care of Professor X. Those who have seen the film now know why the companions of the two men have disappeared – those Who did not see Logan on the other hand had better prepare for some spoilers . Everything has to do with an incident taking place in Westchester, The place where Charles Xavier established his school for gifted / mutant youth, which visibly led to the death of several people – including our dear X-Men. This incident, we hear about it throughout the film, but what you did not know, the meltynauts, is that And yes, we could have been surprised to see the X-Men make the soul at the beginning of Logan . Nice, is not it? Especially that such a scene would have revealed a lot of things from the very first of the film. So why did James Mangold finally choose not to shoot the famous sequence of the Westchester incident? In an interview for ComingSoon, the director explained: ” Yes, I wrote this scene, and there was a moment when it was not at the beginning of the film. , It became the central subject of the film … All of a sudden, the death of the X-Men became the subject of the film, rather than allowing it to reveal itself through several layers and pushing you to enter the film History by asking you: ‘ Where are we going ? . It was really enormous and I felt that it was still too much to the formula that characterizes this kind of film, with an enormous opening that immediately establishes the rest of mythology. I said to myself: ‘What if we were to make an opening scene that rests first on the character? And who minimizes all this? ‘ “.
As for the rest of the film, James Mangold chose to detach himself from the clichés of the superhero film genre to better surprise by making it debut with a scene quite melancholic and very intimate . History, certainly, better plunge us into depression, that of Wolverine and that of Charles Xavier. Finally, Logan, who nevertheless establishes some connections with the X-Men films , has ignored the appearance of the group of superheroes. And we do not finally complain, our mutant claws of adamantium and little Laura ensuring very well the show between them! Would you like to see this scene in the movie?
The post Logan: The X-Men were to appear in the movie first appeared on The Siver Times.

For Wolverine version Hugh Jackman, superhero career, it’s over. But X-23, aka Laura, that we discover today in Logan, could she take over?
Until now, there was only one Wolverine, only one mutant with adamantium claws and able to regenerate after each wound. But that was before. Before the release on our screens today of Logan , the last solo adventure of the character (and the most successful!) In the guise of Hugh Jackman . Because in the film, there is of course our hero, always as grumpy and (almost) always as effective and deadly. But at his side is a girl who shares with him many commonalities : X-23, aka Laura (incredible Dafne Keen), a mute character who imposes from the first scene . Wild, violent, capable of massacring a whole battalion of Reavers without the least hesitation, X-23 is nevertheless a kind of small miracle, In this world where most mutants have disappeared. But where does it come from? Why and how was it created? It is partly this mystery that Logan tries to solve in the film, forming a duo of shock – but especially particularly moving – with the girl. What makes us say, in melty, that little X-23 could well take the place of our Wolverine now that this one decided to put an end to his life of superhero …
If you are a fan of Marvel and X-Men in particular, the name X-23 should not be foreign to you. In comics, the mutant is actually a Wolverine clone, created from the latter’s DNA in an attempt to reiterate the success of the ” Weapon X ” program. The young girl managed to escape Martin Sutter and Zander Rice, his ” creators ” thanks to the help of Sarah Kinney, a scientist whom the methods of the two men revolt and terrify. Once free, X-23 leaves then in search of Wolverine, which she considers responsible for all its misfortunes. However, between the mutant and the girl, a bond of confidence and even love finally weaves. So much so that when Logan definitely makes the soul in 2014 in ”
To find out, we must remember – attention SPOILERS – the origins of X-23 as they are told in the film. Like the Laura of the comics, the girl is actually the result of experiments carried out by the Transigen project, which uses (obviously) the DNA of Wolverine, obtained by the mysterious Essex Corporation of years ago. However, this Laura-this is not really a Logan clone, its link with the mutant being a little narrower than that. But like him, she was ” created “, perfected in the laboratory, which, as was the case for Wolverine, induced heavy suffering, suffering that led her to be violent and brutal. Because as we can hear Charles Xavier tell our old X-Man: ” She’s like you . ” The relationship between Logan and X-23 is similar to the relationship between Logan and X-23. A father to his daughter … but also a mentor to his pupil.
So, could X-23 ever take Wolverine’s place on the screen? To this question, we want to answer ” yes “. Not only because the older generation of the X-Men bowed out, Patrick Stewart himself having decided that Logan would mark his last appearance in a franchise film . It is therefore necessary to add new blood, a salutary initiative that X-Men: Apocalypse has already taken with its young mutants. And then, of course, there is the fact that Laura has become, in the comics, THE new Wolverine, which would almost suffice to make us chicken by the ear. The mutant and it are far too similar for this resemblance not to be exploited. Especially since this would keep a character as rude and violent as Wolverine could be … without the need to find a new actor to play the latter! Wild as she is, but also determined and resourceful, X-23 represents in any case the worthy heiress of Logan and could thus well take its place in the future. It remains to be seen if the studios will know how to use this character, so beautifully introduced in the film, and if they will then do it justice. One thing is sure in any case, to see her stand up to Logan, this girl has the potential to go very far! Would you like X-23 to become the new Wolverine? But also determined and resourceful, X-23 represents in any case the worthy heiress of Logan and could thus well take its place in the future. This is the question that everyone has been asking themselves lately. After all, there have always been X-Men: The Final Clash and even at the end of Deadpool , we had the right to a small teaser as funny as the superhero with the tongue hung. But Logan is also the latest film by Hugh Jackman in the skin of Wolverine and, in essence, the last film with Wolverine. So we have a right to ask ourselves if they will tease anything even afterwards, even if it is not linked to the mutant with steel claws. And above all, what? The New Mutants , the spin-off derived from the X-Men? Deadpool 2 , With the super-hero Domingo at the casting ? Or just the whole new X-Men trilogy we were teased without really telling us anything? The projections reserved for the press were not allowed, but it is rather common in these cases. And a few days ago, Collider firmly assured that James Mangold’s film would have a scene during or after the closing credits , which would last three minutes.
But that was before the director James Mangold came to deny the rumor . Responding directly to Internet users who were asking him the question, he first asserted that “no, there will be no post-generic scene” at the end of Logan . Then he added in another message: “If you see scrolling the names of the team that helped make this film is not worth it, you better not stay to the end . That is all we can do! No, definitely, we will not have extra minutes to bid farewell to Wolverine. Finally, we do not lose hope anyway, because Hugh Jackman recently confessed to himself, if one day a crossover is planned between the Avengers and the X-Men, He is ready to embody Wolverine again if he teams up with Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Company . There is only hope that this will happen in a few years!
The post Logan: A post-generic scene to foresee? first appeared on The Siver Times.

So much so that the mutants have almost all disappeared in Logan , under very mysterious circumstances. This does not mean that they did not exist … nor that the film by James Mangold does not establish bridges and connections with the other franchise feature films . You just need to look carefully to find them. Some obviously are as visible as the nose in the middle of the figure. Others, on the other hand, Are a little more subtle and then we have to pay attention to the smallest details distilled and evoked in the recent X-Men movies. And especially, the last one, X-Men: Apocalypse , which has the means to answer a few questions that arise. As a result, melty’s editorial team has looked at the subject to unveil the connections that link Logan to the rest of the franchise. And we prefer to warn you, it implies necessarily to reveal some (small) spoilers!
Logan is more than obviously linked to the other X-Men movies thanks to two characters: Charles Xavier and Caliban . No need to present the first, embodied by Patrick Stewart, of which Logan marks the last participation in the license X-Men . The second, on the other hand, is a little more mysterious. Chief of the Morlocks, a tribe living in the Manhattan sewers, Caliban can track the other mutants. The first time he made his live appearance in cinema, it was in X-Men: Apocalypse , where he appeared as Tomas Lemarquis and posed as a mercenary, selling his information to the highest bidder. But, in his defense, he still refused to help Apocalypse despite his arguments … convincing. In Logan , on the other hand, Caliban, this time interpreted by Stephen Merchant, is one of the last mutants in existence – which leads us to wonder how he survived when all the others have disappeared. But it’s always his capabilities that interest Transigen, who wants to get his hands on Laura.
And finally, there is Charles Xavier, an angry and almost out of control Charles Xavier in Logan , who no longer has a school to run and no children to pass on his knowledge to. No wonder it seems to be at the end of the roll! The relationship between Professor X and Wolverine seems reversed, this time, the last taking obvious care of the first when it was always the opposite. Charles also recalls in one of the trailers of the film the way he welcomed Logan with open arms when this one still lived only by illegal fighting. Enough to bring back the best memories of the first X-Men movie! In any case, we can expect these two to give us information about what happened to the X-Men and the other mutants. The X-Men, who have since become the heroes of their own comic books and who make you dream, you do not doubt, kids of all ages. How meta !
But besides Charles and Caliban, Logan makes more subtle connections with the rest of the franchise, notably through Laura, the little X-23 that looks so much like Wolverine. Because, as we suspected, the girl has a link with the post-generic scene of X-Men: Apocalypse . Remember, a man belonging to the mysterious organization Essex Corp. seized a blood sample labeled ” Weapon X ” and placed it in a briefcase. However, Transigen, the scientific project that led to the creation of Laura and who is also called ” Alkali Transigen ” (yes as in ” Alkali Lake “, the military complex where Strycker’s experiments took place) Is actually headed by Essex Corp. And the famous ” Weapon X ” being none other than Logan, all this history of sample and stolen DNA must naturally resurface! What let us think that Wolverine and X-23 are intimately linked, as in the comics. So if Logan’s timeline, as Hugh Jackman taught , does not take too much account of the events that took place in the X-Men movies , he can not help but draw some parallels with them. As for the Easter Eggs, these small references that only the fans are able to spot, they are also numerous. So keep your eyes open if you’re going to see the movie! What do you think ? After months and months of waiting, teasers and trailers, all darker and enticing than each other, Logan, intense end clap for the character of Hugh Jackman , finally lands on our screens. There is, as expected, a diminished Wolverine, covered with scars, blood-injected eye and trailing leg , far from the image of invincible warrior that was his in the other X-Men movies . It must be said that life has not been tender with our hero, who alone is responsible for caring for a terribly weakened Charles Xavier. But why are Logan and Professor X alone? According to the synopsis and trailers of Logan , The X-Men and all the other mutants that populated the Earth seem to have … disappeared. It is quite simple, in 2029, Logan, Charles Xavier and Caliban (Stephen Merchant) visibly incarnate the last representatives of their species with the young Laura (Dafne Keen), aka X-23, apparently apparently a miracle. So what happened to the X-Men and all the other mutants? Why did they disappear? Melty’s essay explores for you a few hypotheses that could answer these questions. So what happened to the X-Men and all the other mutants? Why did they disappear? Melty’s essay explores for you a few hypotheses that could answer these questions. So what happened to the X-Men and all the other mutants? Why did they disappear? Melty’s essay explores for you a few hypotheses that could answer these questions.
And the first thing to do in order to find a possible explanation is to take a look at the comic ” Old Man Logan ” by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven (2008), which served as inspiration for the film Logan . In the original work, there is neither X-23 nor Charles Xavier, nor Caliban and Logan is the only mutant still alive. The wicked having managed to dominate America, our hero lives withdrew with his wife far from everything until the day when an aging Hawkeye comes to claim his help. We learn from the adventure that if the X-Men disappeared , it was because Wolverine himself … killed them . But not voluntarily, which makes the thing even more tragic. Victim of an illusion created by the super-villain Mysterio, Logan attacked his companions and the children of the school of Charles Xavier thinking to face opponents who attacked them. It was after regaining consciousness and understanding of events that he abandoned his identity as Wolverine and his role as superhero.
But that’s what happens in ” Old Man Logan ” and we can therefore expect the facts to differ in the film. It is clear that the superhero group existed at some point in the timeline of Logan, comic books telling the stories of the X-Men are being present . So, even if the film does not care too much about the different time lines introduced by the other opus of the X-Men franchise, the superhero group formed well around Charles Xavier. But it is also evident that all its members have all vanished and that their disappearance left a taste more than bitter in the mouth of Logan. It was therefore violent and sudden, and it is not entirely excluded that our mutant is responsible for it.
Given the fact that X-Men films like to play on different time lines, it is reasonable to imagine that Logan takes place in a parallel universe. A universe that would flow directly from the events told in X-Men: Days of Future Past . If Logan and the X-Men were able to prevent the creation of the Sentinels, which were tasked with tracking down and destroying the mutants, then something else might have happened so that the future Exist more – is realized anyway. And there you can think of a lot of possibilities: a genetic disease or a virus, that would have eradicated them or that would prevent the mutations from happening; The pure and simple end of evolution as perceived by Charles Xavier; Or, quite simply, human intervention. Because who tells us that Dr. Zander Rice, the villain of the film, is not responsible for this disappearance? Working for the Transigen project, set up by Essex Corporation, itself introduced in X-Men: Apocalyspse , it might have developed a way to destroy the mutants, as proposed to do William Stryker in the film X-Men 2 . In any case, mutants appear to be condemned to extinction. Unless the young Laura represents the ultimate chance for them to perpetuate themselves! In your opinion, where did the other mutants go? Is not responsible for this disappearance? Logan is released in theaters, marking the end of an era started in 2000: that of Hugh Jackman in the skin of the mutant with the claws of steel. The actor had warned us, it was the last time he slipped into the skin of Wolverine. And it is in apotheosis that he says goodbye. For this der, the studios of the 20th Century Fox gave everything, finally offering us the Wolverine that all the fans expected. Rated R-Rated, Logan is the most violent version of the mutant we’ve ever seen . The victims are no longer counted, nor are the liters of blood. Sensitive souls, abstain, this last shutter clearly does not in the lace. Of the gore, you want it here, but at the same time, This is what one loves in Wolverine: when he does not hold himself any longer, and pierces with his claws all those who seek his noises. After all, he really has nothing to lose. At the time of the plot, in 2029, the mutants almost disappeared. Professor Charles Xavier is ill, and Wolverine’s health is deteriorating. Until a little girl with similar powers makes her regain her salvation.
Let’s talk about this little girl, alias X-23. A real fury , which promises a beautiful relief to the character! Mute during a good part of the film, while being wild and filled with good attentions, the actress Dafne Keen delivers here an incredible first performance. As for the relationship she is developing with Logan, she is both very hilarious and very touching. Because yes, in addition to being violent and offering incredible action scenes, Logan also offers us the most upsetting version of the mutant steel claw . Old, sick, alcoholic, violent, but also on the verge of skin, it is discovered more fragile than it looks, whether physically or sentimentally. And his duet with Professor Charles Xavier is a very moving complicity. Moreover, Patrick Stewart, for whom it is also the last film X-Men , is unrecognizable. The formerly serious professor gives way here to a sort of malicious grandfather who will not fail to make you laugh, but who will not fail to make you shed your little tear.
And Hugh Jackman. The great Hugh Jackman. We already knew him to be a good actor, but in Logan , we feel that he has sought to give the best of himself. Nostalgic, dark, touching, fragile, it offers here one of its finest benefits . As if to say goodbye to Wolverine was also to say goodbye to a whole part of his life. There is only one drawback in this: the bad guy, played by Boyd Holdbrook, which we did not find very convincing. It was clearly made more terrifying, more agonizing or more exacerbating. Finally, it does not affect the rest of the film and Logan remains a very good homage to the character. One thing is certain, he will miss us.
The post Logan: A final clap of the most intense, our critic! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Because, with this film, Hugh Jackman intends to say goodbye to the character of Wolverine, who accompanied him for almost 15 years. So, it’s true that it may be a bit hard, for the actor but also for us, spectators. Because it is necessary to say what it is, the mutant with claws of adamantium is part of our favorite superheroes and one no longer really distinguishes him from his interpreter! Hugh Jackman, who has confided in his latest film as Logan , will put an end to this part of his career with, hopefully, a last memorable adventure. But unfortunately, the meltynauts, he will not be the only one to leave the universe of X-Men feature films . And yes, Another pillar of the franchise decided to bid farewell to his character. This is Patrick Stewart, who has lent his traits to the wise Professor Charles Xavier since the very first X-Men movie .
The actor has entrusted himself on this subject to Entertainment Weekly, reporting a moving moment passed with James Mangold, the director of Logan, and Hugh Jackman . He tells that after seeing the film in its entirety, he had hugged Hugh Jackman’s hand, realizing at that time that it was time for him to bid farewell to Charles Xavier . He explains: ” The film ended and we had to get on the stage after the end of the credits, so we sat there and that’s how I realized there would never be The best way, in such a beautiful, intelligent and moving way, to say goodbye to Charles that this movie, so I said to [Hugh] that same evening: ‘I stop too, it’s over .’ “. There you go, Patrick Stewart therefore decided that he would not reap . This does not mean that Charles Xavier will not re-appear in the upcoming X-Men films since James McAvoy will continue to interpret it in his young version. But if Patrick Stewart was so moved by the end of the feature film, it is also perhaps because his character meets a tragic destiny. In other words, we will have to prepare for the worst, especially since Logan should give us to see a violent Charles Xavier out of control , far from the usual image that is made of him. Anyway, it is hoped that the film will pay homage to the character! What do you think ? This does not mean that Charles Xavier will not re-appear in the upcoming X-Men films since James McAvoy will continue to interpret it in his young version. But if Patrick Stewart was so moved by the end of the feature film, it is also perhaps because his character meets a tragic destiny. In other words, we will have to prepare for the worst, especially since Logan should give us to see a violent Charles Xavier out of control , far from the usual image that is made of him. Anyway, it is hoped that the film will pay homage to the character! What do you think ? You shake, and you get those male characters. Small precision: we focus on western cartoons, so no manga or other. Sorry, choosing is eliminating.
Dinobot in “Animutants”
Half velociraptor, half robot, already it throws. He transforms himself, changes his appearance as he pleases, BG. Above all, it motivates others to join the Maximals and form a united team, with the soul of a leader. Sometimes a little unstable it is true, with a tendency to fart cables, limit schizo . But Dinobot sacrifices himself for the others, he pays with his life to save them, follows his code of honor.
Sergeant Slaughter in “GI Joe: Heroes Without Borders”
You might want to make fun of his style, you better avoid. Ok, he walks in marcel, wears a hat not phew and inevitably carries his faithful trellis. But the guy tears you with his bare hands. Thick as a buffalo, Sergeant Slaughter prepares the agents and soldiers in battle . He also takes command of Cobra when there is a danger in the home. He does not shrink from anything. It is the others who retreats. And died.
Casey Jones in “Ninja Turtles”
Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello do not hang out with people of all kinds. A bit like the brawler and shake boyfriend you had in college, Casey Jones has a tendency to look for shit . As soon as he sees something he does not like, he says so. And he will put the misery to those he finds guilty of violating the law. Baseball hockey and baseball bat. The whole, the hidden face of a mask.
Ax Cop (eponymous cartoon)
The character came straight out of the imagination of a five-year-old kid. True story . An idea developed with his big brother when they played, small. So, it goes away, we’re really dealing with a crazy. Alone, he cuts zombies with the ax, eliminates cunning chainsaw creatures, goes to save God, goes into space in buggy …
Samouraï Jack (eponymous cartoon)
Trained from an early age to manipulate all weapons and master all types of combat, Jack is a real hard. In addition, it follows the code of honor of the samurai. There for the others, generous, he defends a world infested with diabolical robots, aliens … He chained the busy days, with a good heart, never afraid. A man.
Wolverine / Logan in various cartoons with the “X-Men”
Certainly arrogant and aggressive, Wolverine is indispensable. Rather lone wolf than good travel companion, he remains one of the best fighters of the X-Men and can get rid of giants by his claws but especially by his determination . When it is decided to hurt, it hurts. A little rough, gruff, dark brown, the male what.
Sterling Archer in “Archer”
So if you only prefer to see its negative sides, okay, it’s an alcoholic, casanova, who always leads too fast, arrogant … You can also see that Archer is nothing less than the best secret agent of World . That he solves all business, knocks out everybody, is still doing. So suddenly, yes, it has an oversized ego. So, is not that badass bad?
The post There are also big badass in cartoons first appeared on The Siver Times.

Do not take the characters of Logan lightly! Whether on the side of the villains or on the side of our superheroes, we obviously do not hesitate to decide (literally) in the heart of the matter. It’s enough to see Logan’s ultimate trailer, in which X-23 is unleashed like a fury, to realize it. But if seeing Wolverine tear the villain with his claws in adamantium is nothing new – the mutant has always been an enervated sort – we still thought we could count on Charles Xavier to channel it. Except that in fact, the meltynauts, it seems that the creator of the X-Men also comes to fart easily a cable in the film ! At a press conference organized around Logan , Patrick Stewart confided in his character and what was different about him compared to other X-Men movies . He said, ” What was different for me this time? Almost everything .” And if the actor usually has the impression of putting on an old comfortable shirt when he takes over the role of Charles Xavier, this time he is out of his comfort zone.
Patrick Stewart says: ” In a sense, it’s not hard for me [to take back the role] because Charles Xavier is part of me.” That’s what happens when you repeat a role long enough. But it was with this film that there was an extra work to do because I could not say to myself: ‘I just have to go to the Turning set and becoming Charles’, because no one has yet seen this Charles there . “. And so, our peaceful and wise Charles has obviously left the place to a darker character , to stick well with the atmosphere of the film. But how did the founder of the X-Men change? Well,
Patrick Stewart uses indeed words to describe his role, speaking of a Charles ” violent, who is angry, out of control and very dangerous .” Dangerous, Charles Xavier has always been, if only because he is one of the most powerful mutants that exist. On the other hand, ” out of control ” is immediately more disturbing! And this new aggressiveness should not only be found in his way of behaving but also in his way of speaking. So much so that we will no longer recognize the character? What is certain is that Charles may not be in a position to calm a Wolverine ready to get excited immediately, as seen in the recent TV spots of Logan , How he had become accustomed to it! What do you expect from the character of Charles Xavier?
The post Logan: Patrick Stewart teases a Charles Xavier “violent and out of control” first appeared on The Siver Times.

With 8 film and a journey through time that literally messed, the franchise X-Men is not ftoujours ONNECTING square when it comes to respect a certain timeline. So much so that we no longer know where we are! At the end of Days of Future Past , it was indeed convinced that everything would be better for our mutants and were effective in finding a way to peacefully coexist with normal humans. Except that see the trailers of Logan, as the final trailer which was unveiled with an X-23 fully unleashed , things seem to have rather gone wrong! So how did Hugh Jackman and, above all, director James Mangold address the problem of the timeline of the film? In fact, as you’ll see, meltynautes, they simply preferred … ignore the various existing timelines in the franchise ! In an interview to Digital Spy, Hugh Jackman and tease: ” You will understand when you see the whole movie Not only is it different in terms of timeline and tone but it also presents a slightly different universe In fact.. you will clearly see that it explores a different paradigm . “. And then the word is dropped!
So actually, Logan prefer not to take into account the events that were narrated in eight previous films. Moreover, one can understand the choice of the director, so to locate in the timelines and to leave something coherent with them can prove to be a real headache. Hugh Jackman does not seek in any case not to hide the benefits of this approach because it goes on to explain: ” [Follow timelines] becomes a little game of chess, which does not help to tell the story, Especially since it’s gone a bit in all directions.I do not criticize this aspect – X-Men was one of the first movies to actually adapt the comics book, and no one thought there would be any ” others with different directors . “. Of course, the presence of Patrick Stewart in the role of Charles Xavier allows to link with the other films in the franchise , without that one is entitled to long references to past events. Hugh Jackman ends by saying: ” [Logan] is not really accountable to the stories and timelines of other films Sure, Patrick Stewart’s in so there is a small crossover side but it’s very different. .” . Anyway, therefore, even if the X-Men comics exist in the film, Logan appears increasingly as an album to share in the franchise, detached from everything that has been done before. This does not mean that it becomes less exciting, far from it! Do you look forward to seeing the film?
The post Logan: Hugh Jackman teases the film’s timeline! first appeared on The Siver Times.

His role ? Protect X-23, a young girl who shares many similarities with him, alongside a sick Professor Xavier. For in Wolverine 3, the ultimate trailer was unveiled with an X-23 unleashed , the X-Men are long gone and our heroes have become very old. Say hello to a tired Logan, with gray hair and beard, whose healing power makes his own. A way to signify that after ten years face various enemies in the X-Men saga and his own solo movies , the hero is not as powerful as before.
Through this new poster, the fans were able to discover a Logan with a very threatening look. And for good reason: The Reavers, deadly mercenaries will do anything to get hold of X-23 . A mutant that the X-Men seems to consider as his own daughter and of which he will not hesitate to bequeath his inheritance. But his look also gives the impression of a broken character, burnt, eyes bloodshot … proof that Wolverine 3, which will be the last film in the skin Logan Hugh Jackman , will not Of rest for the latter. With a classification Rated R, bloody trailer and first exciting returns, Wolverine 3 should please fans! What do you think ?
The post Wolverine 3: A new image with a threatening Logan first appeared on The Siver Times.

In the latter, the famous X-Men will have to confront mercenaries wanting to capture X-23, a little girl having much in common with him. So far, several clues about the plot of Wolverine 3, a Caliban image cage was revealed , allowed to guess the outline. Only here, its official synopsis has just been unveiled and promises very heavy for lovers of the superhero, interpreted for the last time by Hugh Jackman. Particular, we learn to take place when the film but especially what unites the different characters.
The summary is as follows “In the near future, Logan, tired, caring for a sick Professor X and hidden from the Mexican border. Logan’s attempts to hide from his inheritance world’s eyes will end at the appearance a young mutant pursued by dark forces, ” . Wolverine 3, including Hugh Jackman unveiled a new poster and image , will therefore take place in a future closer than it seems. The question is what disease suffers the mentor of the X-Men but especially for Logan who he wants to hide his heritage. Fans expect in any case forward Logan , which looks darker than ever and whose outcome could announce tragic. What do you think of this synopsis?
The post Wolverine 3: The official plot is finally known! first appeared on The Siver Times.

There are now 17 out the first X-Men , directed by Bryan Singer. Hugh Jackman is donned the role of the famous mutant Logan and after a huge critical and commercial success, over the role many times . Simple cameo in X-Men First Class , in her own spinoff as The Fight of the Immortal , or in the last two episode of X-Men: Days of the Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse . And for the ultimate adventure of the hero, soberly entitled Logan , Hugh Jackman was told to Variety about this character who accompanied him for many years. After all, several rumors speak of a possible death in Logan Wolverine 3 …
Hugh Jackman has entrusted have hesitated to “abandon” the role of Logan but the timing seemed good. The actor then explained , “I’m really proud of Wolverine 3. I did not leave the party as if I could not dance afterwards. I think I have enough danced and had a great time. It was was amazing and I feel good ” . It does seem that Wolverine 3, including Hugh Jackman also unveiled a new poster and a new image or the last movie stamped X-Men actor . In this final act, Logan should be more violent than ever since the movie is Rated R. Some even speak of an inspiration from the side of Old Man Logan … What do you think of these confidences?
The post Wolverine 3: Hugh Jackman confides in his latest film as Logan first appeared on The Siver Times.

Caliban, the mysterious mutant played by Stephen Merchant in Wolverine 3, is back on a new image. And as always, it’s cold in the back!
Logan faced Magneto and the Sentinels, traveled back in time and spent decades locked up and tortured by the demented colonel Stryker. But it would seem that he is at the end of the scroll and that his next enemies will finally overcome his incredible resilience. After all, James Mangold, the director, has tease us that Wolverine 3 would be entitled to a dark end , which seems also very appropriate for the situation since the film will mark the last appearance of Hugh Jackman in the role of mutant. Among other opponents then, Logan will have to fight Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook) and his band of fierce Reavers. But there is another mutant who, however, will also stand up against him. And it is Caliban , played by Stephen Merchant, which was recently seen in X-Men: Apocalypse in the guise of Tómas Lemarquis. You know, the dubious guy who sells information to other mutants and who hired Psylocke as a bodyguard? Good, since, the character has changed head and allegiance. This did not prevent definitely not to be more formidable than ever , as the new image of him that has just been unveiled would tend to prove it.
Hat screwed on the head, goggles on the eyes, scarf around the mouth … there is no doubt, Caliban looks ready to face a sandstorm! The image, which was unveiled by Kellvin Chavez on the site Comic Book Movie, obviously reminds us of what we saw in the first trailer bleak Wolverine 3 , in which Caliban showed briefly in this appearance. And it’s not because we do not see his face that the character does not make us a little freak! It is unclear what the role of the mutant even if the comics and the movie X-Men: Apocalypse can give us some clues about it. Caliban is indeed part of the Morlocks, a group of mutants that lives in the sewers, and has a capacity that is often very useful. It is indeed able to locate the other mutants, which makes it a source of information of choice. At melty, so we said that maybe is there to help the Reavers to get their hands on the small X-23 , Logan decides to take him under his wing. We will see at the exit of the film if Caliban is also the kind to take to our hero … or if he prefers to stay away from the fight! Anyway, this very stylish image in black and white is well in the tone of the other photos of the film that have recently made their way on the canvas and tells us once again that the last adventure of Logan will be dark to wish ! In your opinion, what is the role of Caliban?
The post Wolverine 3: Caliban is cold in the back on a new image! first appeared on The Siver Times.

This is the announcement of the pregnancy SPOILER that ended the series “A Year in the Life”, the revival season of Gilmore Girls. This good news does presage a sequel?

“I’m pregnant” , it is those three little words oh so evocative, that resulted the revival of Gilmore Girls, “A Year in Life” whose four episodes available on Netflix. So Notice to all those and all those who have not yet had time to look at these new episodes through the rest of this article is a bunch of spoilers! 32 years after his mother Rory (Alexis Bledel), single, expects a happy event that will take one. With his mother on welfare, but the father of the child! The big question posed by this great news is whether this pregnancy paves the way for a sequel? Will we, soon the pleasure of seeing on Netflix her belly round, discover Lorelai (Lauren Graham) become a grandmother and Emily (Kelly Bishop) back-grandmother? Well it seems that no … and yes a hope that collapses, it can hurt. Indeed and Amy Sherman-Palladino Daniel Palladino, designers, writers, filmmakers and turns of the series are not as optimistic as we mere spectators … “These words are for us the end of the original story” . Period ? It is probably too early for them to consider a sequel.
After these characters live for almost 17 years, hard to believe they do not already imagine how this child trudge in the Square of Stars Hollow … Perhaps they are waiting for the results of hearings on Netflix before launching in a new site. The other big question raised by this pregnancy is the identity of the baby’s father even though we all have our own ideas on the matter. There are two see three possibilities. The most unlikely, Paul , but the lovesick ghost Rory. It only appeared to demonstrate transparency. Paul is the man Rory forgot to leave for four episodes. They are so little seen that one can not imagine they have had time to conceive a child … Second option, the guy Rory met in a queue and with whom she spent only one night at the end of episode 2, “Spring” .
This part of legs in the air had no meaning for Rory, but it took place in late spring (April-May 2016) and could correspond to a pregnancy discovery early November, three months later. However, nobody wants that. Last option by far the “least worst” Logan Huntzburger (Matt Czuchry). If they have been lovers for years and truly love (sequence of the brigade A Life, to Death), Logan is not a heart to take. And yes, we learned Friday that he is engaged to a French heiress, Odette. In his defense, he turned down the part of Rory at the end of season 7 when he proposed to her. Rory finally reaped what it has sown … Neither more nor less. One thing is certain however, is that you may discover that 3 reasons to binge watcher Gilmore Girls on Netflix . And you want to see your child grow?
The post Gilmore Girls: SPOILER pregnant, the promise of a sequel? first appeared on The Siver Times.
