Unfortunately, in every competition, there are losers and winners. We decided to come back to the series that left us during this first week of Series World Cup!
This 2017 World Cup is absolutely intense! For this second week of competition, we find eight very tight duels. Each match pits two sets you selected, such as Pretty Little Liars faces Gray’s Anatomy . If at the start they were 32, they are now only 16, not forgetting the 4 series belonging to the special pool of the summer series. So there are 16 shows that have left us and do not pursue this adventure, even if they deserve their place. Obviously, as in every competition, you have to make choices and you have made them. This is not to say that we forget the losers and that is why we decided to pay them a small tribute!
The surprises :
They were 32, they are only 16, that’s the price to pay in a competition. Some of the series were eliminated when they were not expected at all. This is the case with The Flash. The friend of the Green Arrow did not manage to win against The Vampire Diaries and Stranger Things . The elimination of Lucifer and Quantico also surprised us, just like Reign , but they may be better next year!
Too popular opponents:
Other series have found themselves in chickens with opponents too strong for them and that is why they did not make the weight. Of course, we talk about Agents of SHIELD and Luke Cage who were in the same category as Teen Wolf and Pretty Little Liars . This was also the case with Prison Break and Orange is the New Black, who faced Arrow and Gray’s Anatomy, who was the group’s favorite . Yes, if they had fallen in front of other opponents, they might have qualified, but that’s all the unexpected of this competition!
We were expecting …
If these 32 series were competing at the 2017 World Cup, it was because they deserved it, but some failures are not great surprises … Shadowhunters was less likely to qualify than his opponents, Just like Supernatural or The OA . Even if they are quality shows, their audiences and their last seasons have not attracted enough interest from their fans. In any case, they will have fought honorably until the end! This competition continues to grow and we must not forget the surviving series.

Lucifer’s season 2 ended in apotheosis but with big questions for his fans. Here are three things we want to see in season 3 of the TV show!
The Season Final of Lucifer’s Season 2, of which here is our critic , left us speechless. Has Lucifer returned to Hell? Where is he in the last minutes of the show and especially, how did he recover his wings? If this episode was really intense, he left us a few unanswered questions. Moreover, throughout this season 2, Lucifer and Chloe have come closer to get away better. What will be the nature of their relationship in Lucifer’s Season 3? One thing is for sure, we are eager to discover the rest of the series but until the comeback, discover the 3 things we absolutely want to see in the next episodes!
1. The couple Chloe / Lucifer
The series focuses on the relationship between Chloe and Lucifer. Both characters play cat and mouse games since Lucifer’s season 1 . If in the second, they have come closer and revealed their respective feelings, the writers did not consider it good to put them together. They love each other, it shows, but it is never the right timing. Will Season 3 be placed under the sign of love between Lucifer and Chloe? We hope but nothing is safe!
2. The Return of Lucifer’s Mother
Lucifer’s mother landed in the show and as much as we did not know if we had to hate her or adore her. Well in the course of the episodes, his character has touched us and we must admit, his black humor will miss us. She disappeared into another world but we are convinced that it was not really farewell. Especially since Lucifer was forcibly taken to a very mysterious place. So will Lucifer’s mother return in season 3 of the show? Fingers crossed!
3. A meeting between Lucifer and his father
Let’s finish with an intrigue that all fans have been waiting for since the series was created. A confrontation between the King of Hell and his father . This character is often quoted in episodes, but our hero has never had the meeting that we all expect. If episode 16 almost failed to meet our expectations, it was ultimately a false hope. Then Lucifer will be able to reveal all that he has on his heart to his father. Did the latter give him back his wings? The 2017 World Cup is just beginning and yet some shows take the lead while others are lagging behind. From The Flash to Arrow through Westworld, which series are at risk?
The 2017 World Cup was launched on Monday! On this third day of competition, the tournament becomes more and more intense and difficult for the 32 series that are defying. They are 8 groups composed of 4 series each which clash. While we are in the middle of the week, it is time to make a small recap of the estimates. Already the series stand out while taking the lead while others are in great danger. However, do not forget that nothing is lost because everything can still switch thanks to your votes . In some groups, everything is played in a pocket handkerchief . While the Werewolves of Teen Wolf or the surgeons of Gray’s Anatomy leave with a head start , Is it for shows such as The Flash, Empire, Arrow and Westworld ? Melty’s editor is back on the shows in danger in this 2017 World Cup pool phase.
Groups 1 and 2
In the first two groups, there are champions such as Gray’s Anatomy , Teen Wolf and Pretty Little Liars . The two teen shows count on putting the package for their very last participation in the Series World Cup. Faced with these serious challengers, other shows have a hard time keeping up. With Westworld, Once Upon A Time, The Big Bang Theory and Legends of Tomorrow, groups 5 and 6 of the 2017 World Cup will be performing as diverse as they are dreadful. Emma Swan manages to get out of the game and threatens the Lyon and Lucifer who can not stand up to the Sauveuse. Once Upon A Time
We start strong with the fantastic series of ABC which is a formidable opponent. Once Upon A Time won the first two editions of the Series World Cup before being spotted by Game of Thrones . This year it is back! The show refocused on its roots during season 6 but was not afraid to innovate when it was necessary. While Season 7 will be a huge bet for the show, can he also claim a third victory? It’s up to you!
Vikings
The series plunges us directly into the Viking age with remarkable decorations, a very realistic atmosphere and talented actors . If the show is violent, it does not take long to seduce us and make us addicted, especially because it knows to stand out from the other series. Fighting in the soul, can Vikings succeed Game of Thrones to whom she is often compared?
Lucifer

If the series can experience some declines in diet, it is always rising and even stronger and exciting than before. Can Lyon now dominate the world of the series?
Westworld
For its first participation in the Series World Cup, Westworld does not intend to do things by halves. Between drama, thriller, science fiction and western, the show mixes genres with brilliance . The series never ceases to surprise with its many twists. We love its complexity, its mysteries, its sumptuous decorations and magnificent costumes as well as its particularly talented cast. Still a little news! The OA offers us a mystical and mysterious universe in its own right which gradually takes us on board . The scenario is original, the staging is admirable while the actors are simply excellent. The OA has something bewitching that could lead it very far into competition.
The Big Bang Theory
If the group 6 is composed of many dramatic series, The Big Bang Theory is the only show to stand out. The comic series has made us laugh for 10 seasons and its longevity is not a coincidence . The Big Bang Theory has nothing more to prove! We like his declared side, his many references to pop culture and especially his characters as hilarious as tying. Will laughter finally prevail? It’s up to you to tell us!
Legends of Tomorrow
It’s the only DC Comics series in this group and it’s about going into legend by winning the 2017 World Cup. If the very engaging cast had a very good alchemy, Legends of Tomorrow offered us a Puff of fresh air including two new actors, Nick Zano and Maisie Richardson-Sellers. Considered an outsider in this 2017 World Cup , the show still has a solid foundation that makes him a serious challenger. Will he convince you to vote for him? Mystery! While episode 15 of season 2 of Lucifer was broadcast last night on the FOX, let us return together on the events of “Deceptive Little Parasite”!
Our hero capable of accepting his emotions? If Lucifer tries to solve his problems thanks to his shrink and a few school classes, the mother of our hero seems more determined than ever to push him into his entrenchments. The second part of season 2 of Lucifer remains mysterious but many speculations are born. Will Lucifer be married when he comes back to Los Angeles? It is possible !
Lucifer’s season 2B will return on May 1 with an episode 14 that looks explosive . Entitled “Candy Morningstar” , this episode offers many speculations. But who is this famous Candy? Who is this new character who bears the same name as our hero Lucifer? One thing is certain, it will be linked to Lucifer, but in what way? Woman, sister? At the end of Episode 13, our hero had fled but would Lucifer be married on the return of the series? It is very possible and the fans have imagined many theories all more possible one than the other. This famous Candy Morningstar could be a stripper from Las Vegas with whom our Hell-king got married. He could have done it voluntarily or not, to take revenge on Chloe.
