Then did the last chapter of the life of the Queen of Scotland convince us? Well, it must be said that our feeling is mixed with Reign season 4 , as with every season, there is good and not so good . In the worst case, we will note the intrigue which takes place at the court of France . Since Mary left France, we are not going to lie, we do not have much to do with what happens there. We adore the character of Catherine De Medicis, it is unfortunately not enough to make the whole interesting.
Fortunately, we did have the visit of Catherine in Scotland who finally put the character forward as it deserves. Megan Follows and Adelaide Kane are both very good actresses and they work really well together . Too bad his passage was only of very short duration, for it was a real pleasure to see them plot together again. Another point that was embarrassing, especially when you know Marie Stuart’s story quite well, is that you really feel that the plot was accelerated in order to slide the highlights of his life after his Return to Scotland: his second marriage, the death of Rizzio, Bothwell, the birth of his son, his death … Obviously, We suspect that the writers did not really have the choice on learning that the series was not going to get fifth season and it was then necessary to condense years of history in 16 episodes. It feels all the more in the final series where everything is linked very quickly. Too bad the series did not have more time to properly develop its intrigues.
Otherwise, we are still fans of the character of Mary who still shows himself as a strong woman who will not yield to the pressure of men. The feminist discourse is always present in the series and carried brilliantly mainly by Mary and Elizabeth, the two queens who are forced to hate themselves lest men steal their thrones from them . They both take the problems with their arms and do not shrink from any challenge and it is important to show strong women like them on the screen. In the end, we still really enjoyed following this last season, despite the lengths and our disinterestedness of the French plot, because the series always manages to entertain us and this remains its main goal. We laughed, we cried, We were shocked and amazed and we know that Reign will miss us next year. For consolation, know that you can always read or re-read our review of the final series of Reign , on melty. What did you think of this season?
The post Reign Season 4: A Successful Chapter? What an episode and, above all, what an end! Predictably, Reign took us out handkerchiefs for his latest episode, and if we feel clearly that the plots have been accelerated this year and even more in the final series, it’s all very satisfied with this. If, as usual, writers take liberties with historical facts, the main lines of the fall of Mary Stuart are there . And even if we regret that everything goes so quickly, it must be admitted that Laurie McCarthy and the rest of the team did well to conclude their story in sixteen episodes after learning the cancellation of the show by the CW. Our three queens are obviously at the heart of the intrigues, And the feminist side of the series is once again highlighted through the speeches of Mary and Elizabeth in particular. After these general remarks, let’s go back to episode 16 of Season 4 of Reign , a little more in details.
In Scotland, it is a real jerk of fight to find the newborn of Mary and fortunately it is at this time that James is back to the court. It is he who will find the child and bring it back to his sister, who will decide to call her James in honor of her savior. Mary, who refuses to live in constant fear that Darnley can come back and hurt her child, ends up accepting Bothwell’s proposal and authorizes her to kill her husband, the King of Scotland . If the queen was not ready to go before the murder before, the arrival of her child changes the situation. Unfortunately, nothing happens as planned. First, the explosion does not kill Darnley and Bothwell is forced to finish it with his hands. But, The Scottish Lords turn against him and denounce his crime with John Knox to secure their rear. Bothwell and Mary are arrested for murder …
Meanwhile, in England, Elizabeth is faced with the consequences of her actions, concerning the Spanish fleet but also its connection with Gideon. After killing Jane with her hands, Elizabeth must find a way to get rid of the archduke who presented her with a new marriage contract, much less pleasant than the first. Then comes the letter that Mary wrote in Reign’s Season 4 episode 15 , in which she calls her cousin for help and vows her to give up the English throne. Without the pressure of Scotland and Mary on her throne, Elizabeth is free to remain single, no longer needing the support of Austria or a union with the Archduke. If Mary allows Elizabeth to retain her freedom and power, The Queen of England will not have the same attentions towards her cousin … We still remember the moment when, dressed as a soldier, Elizabeth joined her men, ready to lead her army against the Spanish armada . “I would not bow to any man ,” she chants to her troops and one can only think “YASS QUEEN” .
As for the rest of the season, the French plot is by far the least exciting of the episode and the end of Catherine’s storyline is strange to say the least. Magic, plan of three, a witch who does not die … Yes, yes, we are well in France! If Catherine finally managed to end the quarrel between her two sons about Nicole by asking Emmanuelle to eliminate it, it would seem that this would have unfortunate consequences. First of all, Emmanuelle wants to be paid via a three-way plan with Catherine and Narcisse which allows her to carry in her the child of the devil – apparently . Then she revealed to Catherine that the plan of her sons to destroy Spain would not work. Either she allows them to do so, and Charles will not long remain on the throne, Or she tries to stop them and will be blamed and killed – nice . For the first time, Catherine chose to protect herself rather than her children . Little thought for Claude who really does not have the right to a happy ending, because after losing Leith, she also seems to have lost Luke … Poor Claude, you deserved better.
Finally, the series ends after a jump in the time of 21 years, where we find Mary the day of its execution. Despite a last attempt on the part of his son James – who is now an adult and King of Scotland – with Elizabeth to stop the execution of his mother, Elizabeth makes him understand that she will not change her mind. Either he accepts the execution of his mother and becomes the heir of the English crown, which will finally unite the two kingdoms, or he can save his mother. After so many years, Elizabeth is always fearful of her cousin. Fortunately for our little hearts, we do not witness the execution of Mary and instead we find her in the arms of Francis! Mary has endured all this but death brings her together to her forever love. It is a bitter-sweet end that Reign offers us for his final series , with flashes of the life of the queen of Scotland that bring us balm to heart after this tragic end. What did you think of this episode?
The post Reign season 4: Episode 16, the end of the reign, our critic of the final series first appeared on The Siver Times.

There is only one left. Yes, Episode 15 of Season 4 Reign is the penultimate in the series and next week we will find out how Mary’s story ends – for the CW, because we really know it already Ends badly . It is soon the end and yet it remains hard to believe after such an episode, somewhat disappointing on some points. In Scotland, Mary is about to give birth, but she discovers that Darnley is suffering from syphilis. This disease partly explains his behavior – and his visions – even though we do not really know what actions were on his own and which were led by madness. If Mary is once again ready to forgive her husband and do his best to heal, Darnley will prove once again that he can not be trusted. It’s been at least 5 or 6 episodes that we spend our time seeing scenes of reconciliation between Mary and Darnley before it turns and betrays it again and it’s pretty tiring .
Of course, Darnley is always guided by a higher authority – his mother in this instance – and we know that the two have had a tumultuous relationship in reality, but it is too repetitive as a pattern. Eventually, Mary gives birth and she barely has time to enjoy her son as Darnley runs away from the castle with the newborn. In the end, the moment we preferred was when Mary asked for help from her cousin Elizabeth, through a real and touching letter . Besides, in speaking of Elizabeth, life is no simpler for the Queen of England. As she gradually recovers from the death of Gideon, she is determined to take revenge. As she is persuaded that the culprit is the Archduke, She decides to send men to capture a boat that is supposed to bring wealth to Austria, in order to put him in the embarrassment. Unfortunately, everything did not go as planned and on his return, the crew of Francis Drake fell on the Spanish army and they sank two of their boats … As can be suspected, the King of Spain n ‘ Is not pleased to learn that a ship sent by the Queen of England has attacked her fleet.
If Drake brought Elizabeth into a dangerous conflict with Spain, at least she opened her eyes to one thing and she understands that it was Jane who poisoned Gideon … And hop, a simple gone for Tour . Finally, in France, the action unblocks a little and this notably thanks to the indisputable talents of Catherine De Medicis. Her character had not been featured enough in the last episodes and we are delighted to see her again in front of the stage, especially when it is to give Leeza a good lesson! Charles is now rid of Spanish pressure, however his quarrel with his brother is far from over. And to say that he and Henri are fighting for a young woman who only wants power … Let us hope that Catherine will finally make them listen to reason. Moreover, this episode brought bad news to Claude – and all the shippers of the couple Claude / Leith – since Leith is about to marry. The princess is collapsed but fortunately Catherine is there to make her understand that wanting to keep a promise to be a good person does not mean she still has strong feelings for Leith. Will Claude finally get to go with Luke? This is what we will discover next week in the final series of Reign – snif. What did you think of this episode? Fortunately, his two most loyal allies, Bothwell and Rizzio, watched and they discovered that the Scottish Lords and the King were doing everything to oust Mary from the throne and that Darnley obtained the matrimonial crown. In order to turn the situation to its advantage, Mary decides to announce her pregnancy publicly. However, this is not enough to silence the anger of John Knox and Darnley even succeeded in convincing him that his wife surely has an extramarital relationship with Bothwell . They then decide to try to surprise the queen in the act of infidelity so that she is then forced to abdicate. But instead of finding Mary in Bothwell’s arms, Darnley and the Privy Council members found her simply playing cards with Rizzio.
As in history, Rizzio is going to serve as scapegoat and they murder her savagely before the bewildered eyes of Mary . Once again, Adelaide Kane shows us her talent in this tragic scene that has all broken our hearts. Despite her grief and sorrow, Mary does not lose sight of what is important: her survival. Simulating a pregnancy pain, she manages to get in touch with Darnley and convince him that the Lords will turn against him as soon as they have the opportunity and they need each other to survive. They both managed to escape and, finding Bothwell and her allies, Mary swore that her vengeance would be terrible. The series which does not always respect literally the historical events of the life of the true Mary Stuart,
In England, Elizabeth became more acquainted with the man who was to become her husband, but this did not happen without a hitch. Indeed, he discovered a letter that she reserved for Gideon and scarcely appreciates that his promise in pincers for another. He then asked him to banish Gideon from England, playing the card of the necessary alliance between their two countries. Elizabeth needs him as much as he does, and even more so since she knows Mary is waiting for an heir. Always thoughtful and foresight, Elizabeth accepts the conditions of the archduke and they are officially engaged . The return of Gideon in England promises to be very disappointing for him … Because at the beginning of this episode of Reign , Gideon was sent to France by his queen to manage a crisis situation.
Henri continues to work against his brother, trying little by little to make his way to the throne, counting more than ever on the support of his sister, the Queen of Spain. His new goal? To put Nicole in the pocket by proving to him that Narcissus has played from her from the beginning in order to take revenge of the latter. Narcissus refused to listen to Henry’s advice about the English fleet and Charles sent the boats back to England just to hurt him. Nicole eventually finds out the truth about Narcissus in the worst possible way and the episode ends with Henri’s malicious smile that does not suggest any good for Charles. In the meantime, we invite you to read our review of episode 12 of season 4 of Reign.
The post Reign Season 4: Episode 13, Death, Engagement and Escape, Our Critic first appeared on The Siver Times.

And in the next episode of the CW series , it will be discovered that Darnley has accepted this alliance and is ready to do anything for Mary to lose her crown. The plan put in place by Darnley and John Knox will cause the death of a close friend of Mary, and if the series follows history, we already have a little idea of who it can be … How Mary will live this rebellion ? What will she be prepared to do to avenge her friend’s death and end Darnley? In any case, in the promo video of “Coup de Grace” , which you can see below, we can see that Mary will remain loyal to her country, Despite Bothwell’s warnings and his advice. Moreover, it may well be that the life of the Queen herself is in danger.
Meanwhile, in England, Elizabeth will approach her future husband and the least we can say is that the latter is very ambitious. Elizabeth will be forced to banish Gideon from the country, at the request of this famous future husband, and one wonders how the separation will unfold between the two lovers . If we believe the images, Gideon will go to the court of France, where Charles will again oppose his brother Henri. The latter seems to fall in love with Nicole and will seek to protect her. Besides, Catherine and Narcisse may well come together again. You will understand, he will do without things in the aftermath of Season 4 of Reign , which is scheduled to end on Friday, June 16th. What do you think ?
The post Reign season 4: Episode 13, what will happen? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Episode 11 of Reign’s Season 4 begins two weeks after James’s departure and Mary must acknowledge that since she announced to Darnley that she is pregnant her behavior has improved. The latter quickly interrupts the conversation that Mary is having with Greer to tell him that Elizabeth is about to marry Archduke Ferdinand, a Catholic. If Mary still wants to have the support of the Vatican to take the English throne from Elizabeth, she must do so before a Catholic king is already at the head of the country. She then developed a plan with Darnley to organize a coup to overthrow Elizabeth. But soon, Darnley’s ambition and thirst for power regained the upper hand and he insisted again that she agreed to give him the matrimonial crown .
If their plan works, he would then become King of Scotland and England even if Mary were to die, if Mary refused to give him the matrimonial crown, then their future child would inherit thrones. In the face of Mary’s categorical refusal, Darnley loses her composure and makes him realize that if their undertaking to dethrone Elizabeth is a failure, he will put all the blame on her. Mary then decides to turn to the only two men on whom she can now count: Rizzio and Bothwell . If Mary, with the help of her two faithful friends and Gideon, succeeds in avoiding the coup d’etat against Elizabeth, she will have to redouble her efforts to get rid of Darnley. He does not want to let go of the affair and is resigned to getting the matrimonial crown. What gives rise to a scene where Adelaide Kane shows us just how badly she plays the queen bad-ass to perfection . And while she wants to arrest her husband who openly threatens her, the latter tells him that she can not do otherwise he will tell anyone who wants to hear her that the child she is carrying is not his. When we think that this man can not become more detestable, he still comes to surprise us …
Meanwhile, in France, Henri already acted as if the court of France were his. It organizes celebrations, it struts, it tells of its exploits of combatant, in short it is slightly unbearable and very imbu of itself. Catherine immediately sees her play and it becomes so in the eyes of everyone when he publicly assaults his brother Charles while playing tennis . Unfortunately, Henri does not have to make remarks and warnings of his mother, he has the support of his sister Leeza and the Spanish crown and that is enough for him. In addition, it even happens to put Narcissus in the pocket discovering that this one has an affair with Nicole. By discovering that even his most faithful counselor and ally is on Henry’s side, Catherine sees no other choice but to turn to black magic to protect Charles . Yes, the magic is back at the French court. The fact that Nostradamus is mentioned in the episode should have made us chic. This spell must make Charles stronger and more powerful than ever … And we do not know you, but we feel that this marks the beginning of new troubles for him and Catherine. While waiting to learn more, you can always read our review of Episode 10 of Reign’s Season 4 , on Melty. What did you think of this episode? Fortunately, she can count on the help of Catherine who has moved to attend the wedding and who always finds a way to turn the situation to her advantage. To see Catherine and Mary together gave us a lot of pleasure, a pity that it only really lasts for an episode, since we barely seen it in episode 8 of season 4 of Reign which was broadcast the week The last. Mary would like to have her marriage canceled with Darnley, but she does not know how to do without scolding the Scottish population or the Vatican. Furthermore,
However, an event in Mary’s life will change everything: she learns that she is pregnant with Darnley. Mary can no longer consider canceling her marriage because her child would become a bastard and could not be her legitimate heir. Change plan so, now she must do everything to make sure Darnley is going to stand well. But while the whole castle is gathered to indulge in a little game, the future King of Scotland has disappeared. There is no challenge that Catherine De Medicis can not meet and she then confronts Darnley’s mother in order to find out what her son is doing. The scene between the two women is both masterful and very funny, and without surprises it is Catherine who has the last word . Darnley is simply plotting with the Vatican behind his bride’s back because both have a common will: to become the true Scottish sovereign in Mary’s place. We are reminded very quickly that we find ourselves in an extremely sexist period when men do not accept to see women in power, thinking they are incapable of governing properly. Sighs.
Thanks to Catherine who spurted the piece to Darnley’s mother, Mary discovers the pot-aux-roses and puts an end to their negotiations, returning Darnley to the castle like a vulgar disobedient child. A scene just before the royal wedding shows us the real face of Darnley – while this one is drunk – where he makes it clear to Mary that he will not make any effort to change. His character is infantilized, which clearly urges us to hate him and wish Mary to escape with Bothwell. But the wedding does take place, and Mary will start what promises to be already a complicated married life. Episode 9 of Season 4 of Reign ends in England where one discovers Elizabeth’s reaction to her rival’s marriage. Anger, Fear and sadness seized the Queen of England, who was in the midst of a crisis, and who attacked the portrait of her father. Rachel Skarsten makes us shiver and we feel her distress . Fortunately, she can count on the support of Gideon who is willing to fight for her and the English throne. This new episode of Reign brings together all that we love in the series: entertainment, shenanigans, reversals of situation and emotions. Unfortunately, Catherine must return to France and this saddens us because her duet with Mary is still working as well. What did you think of this episode? Catherine and Mary are finally together! But before rejoicing more, let’s go back to the events of the episode 8 of Reign season 4 . A Medicis can hide another, since at the beginning of “Uncharted Waters” it is Lucrezia de Medicis that Mary must do a great service if she wants to hope that this great Catholic family remains an ally. Her mission takes her to Bothwell, whom she met in the previous episode. As was suspected, The latter is indeed his “faithful watchman” , the one who kept him informed about the acts of Darnley. Bothwell is a mysterious character but seems sincere to Mary, unlike Darnley. But while Bothwell is about to convince Mary that she should not marry Darnley, a man – who seems to be at the end of his life – surprises them and declares that he comes from a friend. Our dear Bash has a message for her friend: she can either marry to have an heir or marry for love, not both. But while Bothwell is about to convince Mary that she should not marry Darnley, a man – who seems to be at the end of his life – surprises them and declares that he comes from a friend. Our dear Bash has a message for her friend: she can either marry to have an heir or marry for love, not both. But while Bothwell is about to convince Mary that she should not marry Darnley, a man – who seems to be at the end of his life – surprises them and declares that he comes from a friend. Our dear Bash has a message for her friend: she can either marry to have an heir or marry for love, not both.
If this whole story is pretty far-fetched, we’re happy to have a new little sign from Bash. In addition, Mary’s actions to throw Keira of the country entail his death. Darnley is shocked by this news and the hatred is now mutual between the two. What kind of wedding will this give? What advice will Catherine be able to give Mary? Meanwhile, in England, Elizabeth receives an explorer who has enervated Spain and who seeks refuge with the English queen. It is still an unattractive intrigue that is offered here at Elizabeth, although seeing it drunk and more casual is quite fun to see .
In France, the intrigues are not much more exciting – luckily we have Scotland! – since we continue to follow the worries of poor Charles. While he was finally better thanks to his reconversion, now everyone wants him to become Catholic again so that Leeza does not replace the King of France by another. If it is finally Claude’s new husband, Luc, who succeeds in convincing the French monarch to become Catholic again, Charles’s behavior at the end of the episode suggests that everything is not yet settled . Moreover, Luc also managed to get closer to Claude and we must recognize that the two characters gave us a very beautiful scene. It is hoped, however, that the intrigues taking place in England and France will improve. With the arrival of Catherine in Scotland anyway, we are really looking forward to the next episode of Reign’s season 4 . What did you think of this episode?
The post Reign Season 4: Episode 8, Mary finds Catherine, our critic! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The return of Keira really turned the head of the future king of Scotland and it seems to have forgotten all the beautiful words that he declared to Mary the day before. As we know, Darnley was the second husband of the Queen of Scotland, but not the last, so something had to be broken between them. We just thought it would happen after the wedding. Mary decides that the wedding will still take place, as she needs him to establish her power in Scotland and possibly have a chance to regain the throne of Elizabeth. On the other hand, she makes things clear by telling her that their marriage will be purely political. In addition, this episode also introduced Lord Bothwell, a very important character in the life of Mary Stuart . Is it a coincidence that we meet him the day Mary leaves Darnley? And, can he be the mysterious messenger who warns against the latter from the beginning? To be continued …
Meanwhile, in England, Elizabeth is still looking for a valid reason to justify sending the British troops to Scotland. And when one of her advisors finally brings her the news she expects, the time and discussions with Agatha will change her perception of things. If we can reproach Reign for not giving Elizabeth some exciting intrigues since a few episodes, they still have the interest to humanize his character, who was simply seen as the enemy of Mary last season. In contact with Agatha, this dying child, Elizabeth realizes that she is no longer the little girl who was locked up in the Tower and that she does not have to be frightened any more .
Finally, in France, Catherine and Narcisse meet Charles while he is integrated into a small village. If Catherine wants to prevent her daughter, Leeza, from putting another man on the throne, she must at all costs convince her son to resume his role as king. With a little persuasion, especially from a young lady, Charles finally accepted but made a most disconcerting revelation before Leeza, Catherine and Narcissus: he is now Protestant. The war of religions that is spreading throughout Europe now seems to have reached the French throne. Obviously, Leeza, as queen of a purely Catholic country, sees this with a very evil eye. Clearly, Catherine encounters many problems with her second son. Otherwise, We do not regret the departure of Leeza but we hope that the French plot will be a bit more interesting later because the drama around Charles does not fascinate us . In the meantime, know that you can always read our review of Episode 6 of Season 4 of Reign , on Melty. Let’s start with Scotland where we find Mary and Lord Darnley little by little falling in love with each other. However, Mary still refuses to let her guard down, despite the fact that they are now engaged. Their flirting was soon interrupted by Englishmen sent by Elizabeth in order to prevent their union. The danger is real for the two lovebirds, besides that defying Elizabeth would lead to a declaration of war. Moreover, once again, The latter shows how she is malignant since she takes Mary in her own trap by sending a man to kill Darnley in the place where he is supposed to be safe. If the latter comes safe and sound, Mary is upset and finally understands why she refuses to listen to her heart: she is afraid of losing him as she lost Francis . Finally, Darnley convinces her with the least reassuring talk in the world. Mary seems to like the idea of living dangerously by her side anyway.
Meanwhile, in England, Elizabeth has not only the assassination of Lord Darnley to orchestrate. She promised Gideon that she would do everything in her power to help him with her daughter, and she now has to prove that she has only one word. She then brought one of the best doctors to look after the little one. Everything seems to go perfectly, until the Queen of England discovers that this man is a charlatan and that he did not cure the illness of Gideon’s daughter at all. Elizabeth, still as formidable as she is intelligent, confronts the doctor and realizes that she will have to announce to her only friend that her daughter will not be able to heal. This plot greatly humanizes Mary’s rival and makes her character ever more complicated to hate .
In France, nothing has changed since Charles disappeared and left the kingdom without a king. Moreover, Leeza is back and we will have to explain again to him the suspicious absence of the monarch. If Catherine and Narcissus have a plan, everything will crumble when the men of Leeza find a young boy wearing a crown and announcing that a young man gave it to him no longer wanting. She then decides to regain control of the situation and this does not promise anything promising for Catherine. For her part, Claude is enjoying the benefits of the market she spent with her new husband with Leith. Unfortunately for her, their little arrangement will not last more than two weeks since Leith understands very quickly that he will not bear to see his beautiful in the arms of another, even if it is “
The post Reign Season 4: Episode 6, did Elizabeth succeed in preventing the union between Mary and Darnley? Mary, Elizabeth and Catherine are more determined than ever to retain their power and to get rid of those who stand in the way . Let’s start with what’s happening in Scotland, with Mary. We find our favorite Queen, at the beginning of season 4 of Reign , practicing to handle the sword with his brother James. After what happened to Lola, Mary is more than ever determined to take revenge and if possible dethrone her cousin, Elizabeth. To do it, she has a plan, to marry Lord Darnley, an Englishman who could give her access to the throne. But then, Lord Darnley is not her only suitor and just after Lola’s funeral, she gets taken by Count Clan Gordon, a Catholic who wants her to marry her son. We rejoice once again to see that Mary does not need anyone to save her since she comes out of this situation alone. Then she does not hesitate to put her brother in his place when he questions his choices and orders . If we are not sure whether to trust James, we applaud the way Mary handled the situation with her brother – what a Queen!
In England, the atmosphere is also mistrustful, especially since Elizabeth almost got murdered. She also learns that Mary wants to marry Lord Darnley and is determined to stop this alliance before it happens. She finds the help of her faithful Gideon, who can not help but want to protect Mary by investigating what really happened with Lola. He brings evidence to Elizabeth that Mary was not the latest assassination attempt but that it was the famous John Knox who did everything to make sure they would be against each other. In an effort of reconciliation, Gideon asks Elizabeth to calm the tensions with her cousin, but the latter explains that they can never be friends and that she prefers to keep her distance to avoid attaching herself. Her speech is poignant and shows once again that despite being queen, she can not do what she wants, especially because of the men around her.
In France, Catherine is visited by her other daughter, Leeza, who is also the Queen of Spain. At that time, Spain is a great kingdom and a powerful ally to whom we certainly must not turn our backs. That is why, when Leeza suggests that Claude marries Martel de Guise, Catherine sees herself in an impasse. She has no desire to unite the Valois and Guise because she despises them, but at the same time she is badly told “no” to the Queen of Spain. But Catherine always has a plan in mind and this one consists, quite simply, in killing Martel. Ah, Catherine, what did you miss? She therefore passed the murder of Martel for a suicide to protect her daughter and her power. Unfortunately, this does not reassure Leeza who fears that the French throne will be taken over by the Protestants. In fact, she decides to remain “indefinitely” until it is settled. We did not bother a single second before this episode of Reign and next week promises to be just as exciting, just to see the promo video that is above. Moreover, know that you can find the details of the first three episodes of Season 4 of Reign , on melty. What did you think of this episode?
The post Reign season 4: Episode 1, Mary, Elizabeth and Catherine ready to do anything to keep their power, our criticism first appeared on The Siver Times.

It is in a relaxed atmosphere that the actress has revealed to us some spoilers crunchy on the last season of the series. Indeed, Season 4 Reign will unfortunately be the last because it was canceled by the CW it some time ago. The final season will start on the 10th of February in the United States and we propose you to discover some info on the intrigues to come. Moreover, also know that Season 3 Reign will soon be broadcast on the French channel 6b.
What can you tell us about Season 4?
Adelaide Kane: It’ll be great! Season 4 is great. I think this is our best season. I remarry, so we meet but second husband, and also my future third husband, he becomes a friend and confidant and helps me through a difficult period. […] It’s very fun, the occasion was to see her live this. I do not know if this is a spoiler or if people are already aware … It’s history anyway so I’ll pretend it was not a spoiler, but Mary gets pregnant and gives birth To a little boy, the future King James. What is great because I love children, I love babies and I was lucky to have a baby on the set which was awesome and very entertaining!
Will there be other tragic deaths?
Adelaide Kane: There are more deaths … I would say that there is not as much as in Season 3. And perhaps not always death in the literal sense, but the ‘dead’ relations The ‘death’ of friendships, the ‘death’ of political alliances. So there will still be a lot of deaths, but it will not be as devastating as in season 3.
If you could bring back one of the characters of death, who would it be?
Adelaide Kane: Francis. Of course Francis! My new husband would not be here, he would disappear in a mysterious way! (Laughs)
If you could play in another series now, what would it be?
Adelaide Kane: Westworld or Outlander. […] I watched the first season of the plane and Westworld Westworld is great, so fascinating! Yes, I’d love to play in Westworld, fingers crossed (laughs) !
What can you tell us about the new characters?
Adelaide Kane: For the Scottish Court, we Will Kemp who plays Lord Darnley, my second husband and this is a very fun but also very problematic relationship, and Will’s great. It’s a fantastic Darnley, like the little dirty boyfriend you want to hate but you like anyway. And then we also have Adam Croasdell playing Bothwell, who is also very nice to work and very fun even if we could not take this plot as far as we would have liked it because the series ends. We would have explored this more during Season 5 if we had been renewed. We also have new characters at the Court of France, and plenty of interesting new intrigues in this new season.
Did not you have to work with Megan Follows?
Adelaide Kane: Yes! I missed working with Megan. But her character makes a trip to Scotland, I would not tell you why, but she comes to Scotland so we could work together for some scenes, which was very nice. But I really do not want to work with her because she is such a good actress and I feel like I have always learned so much from her side. But, she’s in France, I could not steal her!
What can you tell us about the series you’ve never said before?
Adelaide Kane: Someone gets sick. Someone, in the new season, falls ill and goes mad, just like King Henry II … I can not tell you who else, I’m going to have problems, but someone gets crazy, really crazy.
Can you tease Mary a bit in this last season?
Adelaide Kane: I think Mary is growing very fast in season 4. She is desperately trying to follow the choices she has made. Some of the choices she made are not the wisest and she will be questioning again. There will be a sort of power struggle between her and Lord Darnley and even more than before the difficulty of being a woman in power with men who try to take him [will be emphasized, note] . What do you think ?
The post Reign season 4: Marriage, baby, new characters … Adelaide Kane (Mary) confides in the last season! The series created by Laurie McCarthy has always struggled to find its place and its audience on The CW. With an average first hearings over 1.5 million viewers for season 1, the average s’ has quickly close the million and last year it was rare that the hearings be greater than this number . Besides, it has felt since the chain did not seem to know where to place the series or any other series with the set pairs. First broadcast on Thursday, she then moved to Friday, and Monday to Friday before returning for his fourth season which will air from 10 February. However, the chain has always renewed the show, besides the CW does not expect such high hearings that her sisters of US networks.
This year it will be broadcast on Friday evening so, in the second part of the evening, first after The Vampire Diaries , and then after the season 4 of The Originals . Both vampire series Julie Plec not wearing very well – it’s also the last season of The Vampire Diaries – we doubt that they can be traced hearings Reign , on the contrary … But that ‘ is not all, in addition to hearings at half-mast, the series loses little by little some of the main characters . Reign is a series of historical fiction, it still relies on real events, although they are often highly romanticized. So, last season we lost the King Francis, since in the history of France, and Mary were married him only a year before he died. The actor Toby Regbo therefore no longer part of the cast and it does not really more fans. But that’s not all, as season after season, Mary lost those who constituted his court, her friends. First Aylee and Kenna, Greer and Lola finally at the end of last season that died beheaded for treason by order of the Queen of England, Elizabeth the First.
And as if that were not enough, Torrance Coombs, who plays Bash, has decided to leave the series . Admittedly, this is understandable because the poor still inherited the worst intrigues of the series, but this only reinforces the idea that the series loses little by little the characters that fans love so much. Fortunately, Catherine is still there, but with Mary who now lives in Scotland, we should not see them interact and this promises already greatly missed in the series . You’ll understand that the series is not in the best of positions and there is concern that various departures of players feel the hearings. This would damage the case that the series stops because there are still many things to say about Mary, even if its end of life was not very happy. We still have to see remarry, trying to recover his throne and above avenge the death of Lola. It will wait for more and hope nevertheless that future episodes of season 4 Reign will rise. What do you think?
The post Reign Season 4: Decline of hearings, actors … An inevitable departures canceled? first appeared on The Siver Times.
