For those who like to fall asleep in front of a movie, do not choose those. They ask you to follow and cogitate then it will not stick.
It’s true that it’s cool to fall asleep tranquillou, rocked by the distant lyrics of an unimportant movie. And precisely, must choose! Because if you put one of the movies cited below, you get yourself. Voluntarily complicated, they demand concentration and reflection.
Inception
You go and come between dreams, reality, different levels, the laws of physics do not exist any more … If you’re not well film, you apple and after that it has no more interest to look at it . The film is built expressly so that you reflect at the same time. Otherwise you end up like math in high school, dropped by a force …
2001 the odyssey of space
Already, the film is long. Then it is slow. But then slow as rarely seen. Leeeeeeent! In short, if you comate when you launch the film, you will fall asleep direct. And if you cling to it by opening one eye, once the right, once the left, and reaching the end, bah we will still have to try to understand the end . At least, to interpret it! Because this is the kind of “open” conclusion where you have to make your own idea.
Eraserhead
A chelou guy, constant music, a woman a little disgusting, sex scenes, alien sperm, dead bodies … David Lynch was already disturbing in 1977 . We love him for that, it’s true. You just have to remember that before pressing the play button.
Memento
Oh surprise, another Nolan movie! Still playing with our brain, the director goes here by the montage to push us to follow. Because in addition to the search for the killer of Leonard’s wife, we have the unpleasant impression that all the film’s plans are not in the logical order , to make comings and goings in history. And that’s the case ! We let you guess the trick if not it breaks all the interest.
Consistency
When it begins, you think of typing a boring movie, already seen a hundred times, and you are preparing to type your little one. Then a comet approaches the Earth … but avoids it. Pity. Except that another thing happens: the people of the evening banter dinner with friends will search a booth supposed to have powers, lower down the street . And boom, they fall on their doubles. And it’s gone: who’s who? Who is really at the table? If it’s not done on purpose, huh.
Donnie Darko
It could have been another film about the teenage and dramatic delusions of a young man. But it goes much further. You see a rabbit, you travel in time, you reflect on the meaning of life (or its lack of meaning, precisely) … Really interesting and a movie become cult after a not so successful out. In part because everyone did not freeze and rejected the work a little. A director’s cut came out in 2004, with explanations from director Richard Kelly. Is there any among you who had made the mistake of watching one of these films at 11 pm or not very lucid?
The post If you mate these movies by comatant, you do not understand anything first appeared on The Siver Times.

It is believed to know the whims and other slippages of some. Sometimes they were hallucinating, while others were right to insist. Examples.
Val Kilmer: “The Island of Doctor Moreau”
Basically, he had to play one of the main roles. Then he said he had better things to do, that producers had to reduce his share of scenes by 40% for it to be available. Already, it changes everything. Then, he did not stop questioning the choices of the director, Richard Stanley. Until the transfer to the project . Val, frankly … And it’s not over! To conclude, he demanded that the other actors see their lines modified or withdrawn, to leave all the light. The film will not be so bad finally, go for this time Val.
Crispin Glover: “Charlie and his funny ladies”
The pro of the negotiation. The guy gets the script, the bed and finds his replicas nil to shit. And not one or a few, all! So, rather than any change or leave the project, he has an idea: his character is mute . Finally, he does not speak, basically. McG agrees, go hop, forward the company.
Benicio Del Toro: “The usual suspects”
He was not yet known but was already showing character the rogue! When he reads the project, he understands that his character is destined to die first. Moreover, his take of words does not particularly influence the course of the story. Then he exhibited in Bryan Singer: “If you permitted me, I think you should let me try something .” Without imagining the trick, the director says yes. And Del Toro will play with an incomprehensible accent , mumbling, no one understanding what he says.
Mike Myers: “Wayne’s World”
It was a poker stroke. And he won. The memorable scene where he and his comrade shake his head on Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, you know? Well the producers wanted to sound of Guns N Roses, recent, coming out at the time . Except that Mike Myers refused, insisted on the sound of Queen and threatened to leave the film. They have yielded, and everybody loves this scene. Winning bet.
Faye Dunaway: “Acting Murder”
Passing for the bastard, no thanks! In the film, she plays Charlene Towne, working in an office where murders and incidents multiply. And she ends up being killed by the serial killer. Later, in the assembly, the director wants to change and make her the killer . She refuses completely, she will not return from the stage. Especially not for that. Finally, it will end as expected and the film will have its success.
Harrison Ford: “The Empire Strikes Back”
The famous scene where Leia tells him “I love you” and his answer, “I know,” comes from him. And unlike the rumors, he did not invent it, improperly. This is something he negotiated before, not at all fond of the original dialogue: “I love you, I could not tell you before it’s true” – “So remember in coach I will be back”. Ford had gone to negotiate directly with Keschner Irvin, who had liked the idea, without talking to Carrie Fisher , who was a little mouth that changes his sentences without touching a word. You would have cleared which without negotiating?
The post The whims of actors sometimes prove to be a good thing first appeared on The Siver Times.

It’s kind of the thing that changes everything so it’s better to know if you’re talking about the same as your buddy. Serious? Yes, these films show different purposes. Truthful.
The most vicious: two ends at the theatrical release
“Hide and Seek” is not the most famous films in which De Niro plays and yet there would be reasons . Already because he encamped a doctor a little specious, far from his most famous roles. And especially because the director John Polson decided to offer two ends to the spectators. In the cinema, indoors. I would like to know the number of misunderstandings between the people who talked about it …
The classics: an alternative ending on the DVD
Nothing surprising, it is both a means for the real ‘and the prod’ to show the other track that had been dug and a “reward” to the buyer who will have an anecdote to tell in exchange Of the 22 balls he dropped. “And did you say thank you?” . Examples: ” Titanic,” “Salt,” “Final Destination 3”, “I Am Legend,” “Scream 4″ .
Public opinion: a comprehensible and adapted end
As when a company wants to release a product and ensure its success, it confronts it upstream to a limited audience. An important test phase. And when the majority does not like a proposed end, bah you fall back on the second and worse. Or you rework the first, you modify it a little so that it passes. Examples: ” Fight Club” (flashbacks added to make it more understandable), “Snake Eyes”, “Brazil” (a happy end to the Yanks, sad for Europeans).
The urgency of the competition: an end with a montage … not finished
Presented at Cannes in 1979, “Apocalypse Now” was not then a final version . A kind of work in progress. So, when Coppola’s film came out on DVD, the editing was over and had somewhat changed the end. Who were you aware of? And you saw both ends?
The post You get annoyed at the end of the film and you are not talking about the same first appeared on The Siver Times.
