The Walking Dead season 8: Negan absent from the first episodes, what will happen there?

The news is almost confirmed and it would seem that the beginning of season 8 of The Walking Dead will go from Negan. But what are the episodes going to talk about?
In the middle of our 2017 World Cup, and we’re wondering if Rick Grimes could beat the Demogorgon of Stranger Things , we’re now interested in Season 8 and what it’s all about. After a seventh season that placed all pawns on the chessboard, we are ready to see Alexandria, Hilltop and the Kingdom fighting against the Sanctuary and Jadis. But despite all that is promised to us for the beginning of season 8, it could be that an emblematic character misses the call . As previously suspected, Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays the big villain Negan has not been seen on the set since filming the first episode, knowing that production is currently filming episode 5 of The season 8.
This absence could be explained more by the presence of the actor in the casting of the film of Dwayne Johnson, Rampage, than for scenario-specific reasons for The Walking Dead . But then what could happen in the first episodes? First of all, it is quite possible that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is shooting indoors and so has not been noticed by the fans who hang around the plateaus . During the arc of the comics, Negan is forced to remain inside the Sanctuary because of an invasion of walkers, which could explain the momentary absence of Negan out of the walls of his den, although this should not Not span 4 episodes.
After seeing a Rick back and completely crushed by the presence of Negan, seeing some episodes focused on the group we know well could prove to be most enjoyable. They will all have a lot to do to prepare for the war against the Saviors and the first episodes could show us the artillery and their strategies . Not to mention the fact that Michonne and Rosita, both wounded, are likely to be recovering at the beginning of the season and that it is doubtful whether the groups will decide to attack without some of their most effective members. The Walking Dead – 7×01 “The Day Will Come When You Will not Be”
Despite a season not constant, The Walking Dead has offered us very good episodes this year, including the premiere season. After an intensity that climbed crescendo throughout the season, the series ended on a magisterial final season that paid tribute to all her heroines . Brutality, passion and denouement have blended to offer us without a doubt one of the best episodes of 2017.
13 Reasons Why – 1×11 “Tape 6, Side A”
Certainly the 13 episodes of the series were heartbreaking, but it was probably episode 11 that was among the most anticipated and most feared at the same time. Clay’s cassette finally let us know that Hannah did not blame her, but the revelations that accompanied the episode were more than hard to digest . In short, an intense condensation of violence mingled with a touch of relief that earned him his place among the best episodes of 2016-17.
Orange is the New Black – 5×13 “Storm-y Weather”
Last episode of a successful season, “Storm-y Weather” showed us the offensive on Lichtfield to continue to highlight the violence of the forces even against peaceful detainees. After three days of revolt, the semi-freedom of all the prisoners ended in a brutal assault that resulted in a cliffhanger . Rick’s team went on shooting at the beginning of May to the delight of his fans! The first episode of season 8 will celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walking Dead and we are expecting many surprises to celebrate this series of madness! The actors were delighted to meet for this eighth season which looks HUGE. They told us that this one would be intense, you are reassured! It’s true that Season 7 left a bitter taste as it was dark and flat: to see Rick give up, it was too hard for our little hearts. The Walking Dead: Rick, Maggie, Dwight, Negan … Who were the best and worst characters of Season 7?

A few weeks after the end of season 7 of The Walking Dead, a small return on the best and worst characters of the season.
The 7 of The Walking Dead season may well be over – you were told that of Negan or Rick had had more screentime in the first episodes – but that does not prevent us to continue to talk until season 8. Today We look at the best and worst characters of the season based on their actions but also on their evolutions over the episodes . Do not hesitate to tell us what, according to you, are the characters who have shined the most by their courage, their kindness or on the contrary their cruelty.
Maggie Rhee, formerly Greene. The season opened with the death of Glenn Rhee, her husband, but also the only member of her family who is still alive if her baby is not counted, a traumatic and decisive event. Yet rather than moping, dropping her arms or even running into the pile headed down to avenge Glenn’s death, Maggie got up and repeatedly showed her determination to create a better world. Through her actions and words, Maggie continued to pay tribute to Glenn’s memory by fighting to make the apocalyptic world in which she lives a better world for her child .
Discreet but always present, Jesus is faithful to the message borne by his first name since his appearance and has several times revealed himself as the savior of Rick and his group. Introducing the Alexandrians to the Hill and then to the Kingdom, Jesus allowed them all to find allies against Negan, but also to benefit from the commercial help possible between different communities. In addition to broadening their horizons, Jesus was always supportive of Maggie and Sasha during their stay at the Hill, placing themselves between Gregory and them when the current leader only thought of selling them to Savior and becoming a confidant for them. Protector of Carl when he found him on the road to the Sanctuary, Jesus also helped Daryl return to his own.
The third best character in Season 7 of The Walking Dead is for us Carl, who has grown from an annoying teenager and often creates problems to interesting and mature characters in few episodes. His episode at the Sanctuary alongside Negan was quite revealing of his evolution . Certainly, deciding to go and kill Saviors alone was not the smartest, but throughout the season Carl showed some pretty impressive courage and cold blood, especially when his father was on his knees – Figuratively and literally – facing Negan. A tough fighter who has had his share of serious injuries, Carl continues to fight and support Rick as he weakens and shows us the interesting journey of a child who grew up in a world populated by zombies.
Dwight serves as a transition between the best and the worst characters, even though he was one of the worst characters when he became acquainted with him, he became an unsuspected hero. Daryl’s torturer demonstrated amazing empathy, but proved that he did everything he did out of love and out of fear for Sheryl, because once he had escaped, he hurried to join the camp. Rick . We also learned a lot about his past and we also saw the grip of Negan on him. Difficult therefore not to feel a minimum of sympathy towards him, especially after his attack on the first confrontation between Rick and Negan.
Tied with Spencer Monroe, Gregory wins the winner of one of the worst characters of season 7 of The Walking Dead by combining the winning cocktail: treachery and cowardice. As brave as a mouse in front of a cat, Gregory folded at the whim of the Saviors and was ready to go so far as to deliver his refugees to buy Simon’s favors. In other words, his character did not seduce us and he tended to hit us on the nerves at each of his appearances.
Finally the palm of the worst personage obviously returns to Negan. Despite an astonishing charisma and a sharp sense of humor, Negan remains the one who killed Glenn and Abraham at the opening of the season and completely broke Rick. Scary until the final season, Negan is the character who scares especially when he laughs, who does not shrink from anything to show his ascendancy over his enemies and that makes his cruelty pass for a twisted sense of justice . In short, an iconic villain lived up to his reputation in the comics which gives us already looking forward to seeing his horrors in the sequel.
This closes our little tour of the characters who have strongly marked good or bad season 7. Obviously they are not the only ones, but it must be said that the evolution and presence of some have nevertheless been more marked than For others like Daryl or Carol. The Walking Dead Season 7: All the references and easter eggs you have missed!

Season 7 of The Walking Dead may be over, but you may still have a lot of surprises in store for you!
He’ll have to wait until autumn to find Rick Grimes and company in new adventures and so Melty continues to help you wait until then. While we were wondering yesterday whether Eugene was already on the side of Negan before the death of Glenn and Abraham in season 7 of The Walking Dead , today we offer you a small return on all the easter eggs and the little surprises that The screenwriters have scattered here and there in the season. As some already know, the production team, and especially executive producer and special effects specialist Greg Nicotero, is very fond of making references to the world of zombies or comics and here are some of the seasons . The first little gesture has just been made, Abraham in the first episode, just before he was killed by Negan. He has time to raise 2 fingers and make the peace sign “to Sasha since it’s something that the two characters shared in several episodes, even before being coupled.
The second element is more global as it is the cult scenes of comedies repeated on the screen like the death of Glenn and his eye, Carl who raises his headband to show his wound to Negan, Dwight who chooses to put on “Good” side or Maggie who is about to become the leader of Hilltop. Third reference: when Daryl was imprisoned at the Sanctuary, Negan said, “You do not scare easy” ( “You will not let you easily impress” ), the same words as Merle told Glenn in season 3 when the interrogates. Coincidence? Probably not. The fourth “surprise” Was to be found in the credits of The Walking Dead since objects referring to the characters are often associated with their name. However, it was necessary to wait a few episodes to know why an iron in an oven was the object associated with the name of Jeffrey Dean Morgan aka Negan …

The Walking Dead season 8: 3 things we will not see if there is a leap in time

While it will take several months before discovering season 8 of The Walking Dead, we already know that some elements of the plot could be cut in case of flashforward.
October is still a long way off and Andrew Lincoln ‘s promises and a premiere season more exciting than ever for Season 8 of The Walking Dead do not really help us to be patient. Melty continues to reveal the details of the sequel to get the time faster. Watch out for spoilers from the comics that appeared in the US in the sequel. We’ve already talked about a jump in time in the rest of the series and it seems to be true . Andrew Lincoln, aka Rick, has already stated that “maybe in some episodes there will be a flashforward” . The showrunner Scott Gimple has only confirmed this: “The people who read the comics will expect it. We follow the comics with some variations. But I find that some things happen during this jump in time and which are referred to later which are very interesting. So maybe we’ll see some of these things, maybe it will not be the same flashforward as in the comics . ” Whatever may be an advance in time is almost safe and it could make us miss three Elements in particular.
The first thing we would probably not see – and that would make life easier for the production team and Lauren Cohan – would be the continuation of Maggie’s pregnancy and childbirth. In the comics, the arrival of the baby of Glenn and Maggie is not shown and the little Hershel is thus already in the world when the comic resumes. A fictional pregnancy in a series is never obvious and even less in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies . So it is imagined that if the writers can arrange for the delivery to take place during a jump in time, that is what will happen. That said, a young baby in The Walking Dead remains as complex, evidence are the very brief appearances of Judith in the series lately. The second thing we could not see is Carol. In comics, Carol dies while in the series, she seems to recuperate some of Michonne’s plot – which comes close to Ezekiel and seeks how to survive without killing.
During the comic flashforward, Carol, like Michonne’s comics, may once again go out to find peace and head for Oceanside where she would adopt a more peaceful lifestyle. We admit that the idea of seeing Carol still get away from the group does not delight us and we hope she will have another intrigue in the sequel . Finally, the third thing that could only be quickly shown is the reconstruction of a societal system once the war against the Saviors is over – and won. In the comics, Rick took advantage of this victory to lay new foundations of civilization, including commercial exchanges with Hilltop and the Kingdom or to establish laws against murders. The symbol ” Evolution of mentalities will be embodied by Negan whom Rick prefers to lock up in prison rather than kill. In short, things go well during the jump in time but it is very possible that on small screens also all this is passed over in silence. The Walking Dead Season 7: Glenn, Abraham, Olivia … recap ‘all the dead of the season!

It’s been a week since season 7 of The Walking Dead is over and we offer you a short summary of all the characters who have left us this season.
That’s it, Season 7 of The Walking Dead is over and after a review , it’s a summary that we now propose to come back to all the characters who died in this season. Obviously, watch out for spoilers if you have not seen all the episodes. Since his first season, The Walking Dead has not been this year’s tender with his characters and many of them have perished in episodes that we have discovered since October. The two most important deaths are obviously those of Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) who were killed by Negan .
In addition to these two iconic characters of which one has already been seen and Glenn who could return in The Walking Dead according to Scott Gimple , it is also other known faces that have disappeared . An act of bravery! But that’s not all, since this Season Finale was also the occasion for our fetish characters to finally pull back Negan. The death of Sasha
If his disappearance should sadden the fans, they can at least be consoled with the beautiful exit door that the writers have reserved for him. Sasha has never let us down, and it took some bravery for her to take the famous poison of Eugene . Without the least weapon at her disposal to kill Negan, she decided to turn herself into a weapon. The Tribute to Glenn

Central and terribly human character, Glenn misses us enormously but he is saving to know that he will live eternally in Maggie and their child . While the Season 7 episode of The Walking Dead was broadcast last night on AMC, let’s get back together about the events that marked “Something They Need”!
Another cliffhanger for the Season Finale? And yes the meltynauts, hard to imagine that the epic war announced since the very beginning of the season can truly take place in the Season Finale. Indeed, even though “Something They Need” gave us great moments, it was again a transitional episode that allowed Rick and his group to get the weapons they needed if they Want to join the aid of Jadis. And we’re not going to lie, we’re a little disappointed. How will Rick be able to give up arms, bring the communities together and develop a plan before Negan arrives in Alexandria? The Season Finale promises to leave us hungry. While the ‘ Of melty suggested you discover our criticism of Season 7 episode 14 of The Walking Dead , let’s go back in detail on the main events that marked “Something They Need” aired last night on the CW . And the least we can say is that the intrigues have taken a new turning point without accelerating as we had hoped. For if Sasha had every chance of dying in terrible suffering following his carnage, she was eventually treated much better than expected with a lenient proposal: to join the camp of the Saviors. An opportunity we had not seen coming. We know that Rick and his team still need weapons ! Now that Tara has revealed to them the existence of the Oceanside community, it will be necessary to pay them a visit. A few days before the release of a new episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead, one wonders if the season 8 could give us a good surprise. Warning, spoilers.
There is only a few days left to wait before knowing what will happen in episode 12 of season 7 of The Walking Dead and melty continues to help you wait until then with some speculation about season 8. As some fans already know, the character of Negan is revealed for some time not only in the series AMC but also in comics focused on him entitled “Here’s Negan” . This miniseries tells a little about who was Negan before the zombie apocalypse and allows the readers to better understand the character and his motivations. Fear The Walking Dead Season 3: Could the new villain be as charismatic as Negan?

Several months before the broadcast of the season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead, small return on the new antagonist that one awaits impatiently.
The season 3 of fear the walking dead is still far and then we wondered who would die in the next few episodes , it is now up to the new big bad will soon land in the series. The Walking Dead Season 7: Will Rick and the others get to beat Negan without Eugene?

A few weeks before the return of season 7 of The Walking Dead, one wonders what will be the consequences of Eugene’s abduction on the plot.

The holidays are over and 2017 has arrived but we continue to question our favorite shows and then we wondered if there is little Eugene would be present in Season 8 of The Walking Dead is yet to him that We are interested today and its intrigue in the series and in the comics. The winter hiatus continues and our speculation about season 8 of The Walking Dead too! This time it is to the famous Eugene Porter that we are interested … Attention, spoilers.

While the end of the year is fast approaching, the editor of Melty has decided to return to all those moments that left us speechless in 2016!

What ??? And yes the meltynauts, the series is just as much your passion as ours and if we love them as much, it is also because they sometimes manage to get us down. Between twists, cliffhangers and WTF moments, in 2016, we did not have much respite and that is what is good. While the editorial ‘of melty proposing you to discover our top 8 of the dead that we should have seen coming , back together on all these incredible moments. And we obviously begin with The Walking Dead which is absolutely not the last to propose us many reversals of situations. The Walking Dead Season 7: Can Sherry replace Dwight in the next episodes?

Season 7 of The Walking Dead returns in February and it leaves us time to ask if Sherry is not going to inherit Dwight’s plot …

The first part of season 7 of The Walking Dead is over and we are already wondering if two characters in particular will make their appearance in the sequel!
Happy holidays to everyone ! Who says end of year says Yule logs and other nice delicacies, but not only, it is also an opportunity to go back to what we offered in 2016 – including the worst and the best of The Walking Dead – or wondering What awaits us in the sequel. Today we are interested in two characters – which can be considered secondary – in particular: Heath and Sherry. After a brief appearance in episode 6 alongside Tara, Heath disappeared on a deck leaving behind a mysterious clue. 2016 proved full of debates and discussions around the series and some more monopolized speech than others … We take stock!
Happy Holidays to all ! Between two big meals and a few Christmas films, we propose you to plunge into the universe of the series to make a small assessment of those that made the most talk about them this year. Controversy, bad buzz, buzz or good comeback, these are not the reasons lacking and this year more than ever, we realized how much the series were taking place in the media . So after we back on the best and worst of 2016 for The Walking Dead , is now up on The 100, Game of Thrones and all other series that marked the spirits.
And it is through The 100 we start since the series on The CW has created a bad buzz with the death of Lexa then of Lincoln in his third season . The lost ball taken by Lexa few minutes after she slept for the first time with Clarke echoed a phenomenon too often on TV called “bury your gay” / “bury your gay” . Another series phenomenon made talk about it not because it made controversy, but because millions of fans were delighted to find it on their small screens. After 9 years of pause, Gilmore Girls has made a comeback on Netflix for four special episodes each of which focused on a season . A poetic and sympathetic way of knowing what became the characters so beloved of the series signed Amy Sherman-Palladino. But Netflix has also offered us another success: the first season of Stranger Things which has been able to mark the spirits with its soundtrack, its vibes of the 80s and young talented actors.
In short, 2016 will be revealed full of surprises and good series but sometimes bad buzz which, admittedly, also help to move things or to boost the popularity – or at least the hearings – a series . At least one thing is certain, this television format has definitely imposed itself in popular culture and seems more and more inevitable to take a bit the temperature of the mentalities of today.
