Eleven months to go before discovering the new adventures of Rey, Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in Star Wars 8. It starts to take a long time, especially since we do not know much about the film, except a few casting additions, like Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern. And yet, their roles are rather vague at the moment, although there has recently been some clues that of Laura Dern . But new characters could be added to the cast! Or rather, we should say, new creatures. This would be “convorees” , a mysterious bird species that some fans may have already seen in cartoons Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels . And according to the site Making Star Wars , this is the planet of AHCH-To where Rey finds Luke Skywalker, we meet them at the beginning of the episode VIII. For those who do not know them, “convorees” are described as “messengers, observers” .
In Star Wars Rebels, they are known to appear just before important moments, such as to prevent something from happening. The Making Star Wars site has two theories about the role of these little birds in Star Wars 8. The first is that they would be simple protectors for the Ahch-To planet. The second, which could also be added to the first, is that they are actually the reincarnation of ancient Jedi . This could explain the presence of Luke Skywalker on this planet. Perhaps he is looking for these little birds, to communicate with them and understand what he has to do? And maybe in these little birds, we will find the spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi, suspected of making a comeback in Star Wars 8 ? So many theories are possible, but it will probably take until December 15, 2017 to get the answer. And what is your theory?
