Game of Thrones season 8: Can the Lannister be the big winners?

A few weeks before the arrival of season 7 of Game of Thrones, one wonders if the story could end with a victory of the great villains.
While waiting for the summer and season 7 of Game of Thrones in which Arya could well attack Littlefinger , we continue to help you to wait with a few small theories. Once it is not customary, it is the members of Reddit who imagined a very glaucous end for the epic fantasy saga of George RR Martin. It was often believed that Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow would eventually defeat the White Walkers and reign over Westeros together . Or that, even if one of them died, the other would try to restore peace to make Westeros a just kingdom. Yet another option exists: that it is the Lannister who win the battle and who end up reigning as masters, as they always wanted.
And when one speaks of Lannister, one does not speak of the only supposed Lannister, Tyrion. Indeed we already know that the end of Game of Thrones will be “sweet-bitter” and with George RR Martin, difficult to imagine a happy ending to speak properly. Could Cersei win the war against Daenerys and the White Walkers? It could then conquer Dorne and the other territories of Westeros. It is assumed that, faithful to herself, she would never marry and therefore would have no new heir and no other family than Jaime. But since it is in Game of Thrones , it could attack Sansa who would reign over the North and end up being wounded on the battlefield.
Reddit’s surfer then imagined that she would be doomed by this wound and that to shorten her suffering, Jaime would eventually kill her, thus realizing the prophecy. So Jaime would be the one who would end up on the Iron Throne. An end at the same time bitter because of the death of the “good” characters but made sweet by the death of Cersei and by the reign just hoped for by Jaime . We admit that we hope that the series will take another path but the Lannister victory remains to be considered and since we like to be surprised, it could be almost as satisfying as a predictable end and already predicted by all fans. While waiting to know what it will really happen, Is asked if Sansa was going to become as cruel as Cersei in Season 7 of Game of Thrones . And you what do you think ?

The month of May is always loaded in terms of series, with all the final seasons going on and some summer series starting. Not to mention the Netflix series that land every month and come to shake everything up. This month of May was another emotional month, between tension episodes, the tragic deaths, the couples who make and break and of course the fact of having to say goodbye to certain shows the time of the Summer – or even forever . As at the end of each month, the editor of melty offers you to discover the 10 series that have marked the last 31 days . And since we can not see everything and we all have different opinions, we invite you to share your Top Series of May in the comments.
9 – Scandal
It was known before the release of the double episode of season finale, the season 7 of Scandal will be the last , making the end of season 6 even more important since it sets up as pawns for the latest chapter Series. If we found the first part of the final season a little slow and a bit too quiet, everything was played in episode 16 and all the cards are now redistributed in order to offer us a totally different last season. Olivia Pope has embraced a little more her side “dark” , no longer hesitating to eliminate people who get in the way of his goal. Despite some mistakes, we were pleasantly surprised by this end of season.
8 – The Flash
The Flash concluded its third season last week with a rather touching yet predictable episode. After a season that had some problems with the plot, The Flash is doing pretty well with this final season which already puts in place the bases of season 4. If, not surprisingly, Iris is not dead As had been predicted, his character played an important role in this end and it is no worse. Despite some predictable intrigues and springs, The Flash fulfills his contract and offers us a end of the season full of action, twists and turns and where we even had to take out the handkerchiefs!
7 – Jane The Virgin
The CW series is one of those underestimated series – to go hand in hand with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend – especially because of the channel on which it is broadcast. And yet, it’s still a beautiful season that Jane The Virgin offers us with an end to the top. The series always mixes humor and emotion, and it was once again a real emotional roller coaster that follows the adventures of Jane and all the other characters in the series. Despite its very low audiences, the series was renewed by the CW for a season 4 and we are already looking forward to discovering all this because Jane is missing us already!
6 – Supergirl
The second seasons are often a bad time to play for the playoffs, but we can say that Supergirl is doing pretty well, especially with its final season as exciting as it is moving. Admittedly, the season has seen ups and downs, especially in the middle of the season, but it has caught up well on the end, putting her heroine back at the center of the action. With the final season, the different female characters were highlighted and the return of Cat Grant was only the icing on the cake . What a pity that his character does not come back for season 3 … The series has been bold on the end and we really hope that season 3 will be to this image.
5 – Gray’s Anatomy
We all agree more or less to say, this thirteenth season of Gray’s Anatomy is far from perfect and some intrigues have really left something to be desired. However, we can not deny that the last two episodes of season 13 have largely raised the level giving us really want to discover the season 14 . Not only was the final season disaster, which was enormously teased by the production, offered us cold sweats – or hot rather – with this fire, but it allowed to give a very beautiful end to Stephanie Edwards. Indeed, Jerrika Hinton leaves the series and it is a true heroine that his character bids us farewell.
4 – Agents of SHIELD
Agents of SHIELD closed its fourth season as brilliantly as it did, with Ghost Rider returning to close the loop. The characters have yet to face new challenges – some of which will change them forever – but whatever happens is that they can always count on each other and that’s what they Helped defeat AIDA. If one adds to the well-structured intrigues, the dialogues that make flies and the development of characters always well conducted, the political subtext of Agents of Hydra, one really faces one of the best seasons of 2016-2017 .
3 – Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt / Master of None
We plead guilty! We were not able to decide between the two Netflix comedies, both of which were released this month on the SVOD platform. Both are hilarious, but they are very different but we love them as much. It is always a pleasure to recapture the sarcastic and ultra-referenced humor of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and his colorful characters. Season 3 plays the card of feminism, while still offering wacky and offbeat plots. As for Master of None , we must say that magic always operates with this second season which is just as good and funny as the first. These two comedies are very original, each in their own way, and if you have not yet watched them, go for it!
2 – The Handmaid’s Tale
Last month we discovered Hulu’s brilliant but glittering The Handmaid’s Tale and since then we have to admit that our fascination with this series has not diminished. We know that it will make us suffer, yet every week we are eager to discover the new episode before which we will be hypnotized. His subject is always as strong and multiplying the points of view and the flashbacks on the different characters allow to enlarge the history and to understand a little better all the protagonists. The Handmaid’s Tale is undoubtedly one of the best new releases of 2017 and we are looking forward to seeing how the season will end.
1 – Sense8
After many months of waiting, Sense8 offered us a second season at the height that gives us already looking forward to seeing the continuation . Closer than ever, the sensates continue their struggle against the terrifying Whispers and the BPO organization by discovering more and more information about their past and their powers. The universe of the series has expanded to our delight and there are still many touching and intense scenes that we have been able to discover . We regret a bit the rapidity with which the plot resolves in the final season but what we regret above all is to have to wait for months before we can find Nomi, Capheus, Lito and the others. We cross the fingers and toes so that the series is renewed and, in the meantime, know that you can find our verdict on season 2 of Sense8 , on melty! What is your Top Series of May 2017?

Game of Thrones is known for its cruelty and before the broadcast of the season 7, little questioning on all the deaths of the series.
July 16 is soon there and we are already looking forward to Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and others on HBO and OCS on the French side. To wait until this summer, you have already revealed the latest news about the 5 spin-offs of Game of Thrones that are being prepared at HBO . Today it is the original series that is interested and we propose you to remember all the deaths of important characters that have taken place since the beginning of the series . They are so numerous that we tend to zap a few characters, do not hesitate to tell us to which you no longer thought in the comments.
Season 1
The very first episode sets the tone of the series that opens with the death of knights of the Night’s Watch but it is especially that of Jon Arryn who launches the plot. The next one marks the death of the first wolf Stark, that of Sansa called Lady, then of the friend of Arya Mycah. In episode 5, Stark’s chieftain Jory Cassel was killed by Jaime Lannister to avenge the kidnapping of Tyrion Lannister by Catelyn Stark . Then came Viserys Targaryen, Robert Baratheon, Septa Mordane, Syrio Forel, the barn boy who certainly can not be considered “important” but remains the first murder of Arya Stark, Mago, Qotho, Eddard Stark, Rhaego , Khal Drogo and Mirri Maz Duur. A first season well agitated therefore.
Season 2
Having understood that this series was one of those that spares nobody, the dead of season 2 may have seemed less surprising but they have not however been particularly less numerous. The start of the season marked the death of Maester Cressen, the skeptic who questioned Melisandre’s powers, as well as those of Rakharo, Yoren and Lommy, who traveled with Arya Stark. In episode 5, it is Renly Baratheon who passes by , and Arya continues to strip names from his list by asking Jaqen to kill the “Tickler”. Rodrik Cassel, High Septon, Amory Lorch and Irri then die, followed by Maester Luwin of Winterfell, Pyat Pree, Qhorin Halfhand, Matthos Seaworth, Xaro Xhoan Daxos and Doreah.
Season 3
The first major death of season 3 takes place in the second episode and it is the father of Catelyn Stark, Hoster Tully. It is followed by those of Craster, Jeor Mormont, Kraznys mo Nakloz the slave who tried to deceive Daenerys, Martyn and Willem Lannister or Rickard Karstark. In episode 6, the prostitute Ros is killed by a more psychopathic Joffrey than ever. Episode 9, famous for its carnage during the Purple Wedding, saw the warg Orell die to the north but especially Catelyn Stark, Robb Stark, Talisa Stark, Wolf Gray Wind and Wendel Manderly in one of the most violent and surprising sequences of Series.
Season 4
Season 4 opens with Arya’s list of which she can scratch Polliver, who had killed her friend Lommy and stolen her needle sword. Lowell, Axell Florent and especially Joffrey Baratheon come next. The death of the future king is followed by that of Dontos Hollard, who helped Sansa flee King’s Landing, and by the members of the Night’s Watch Karl Tanner, Locke, Biter, Rorge and more notably that of Lysa Arryn pushed By Littlefinger. The end of season 4 is particularly deadly with Oberyn Martell losing his fight against the Mountain then Pyp, Grenn, Mag the Mighty the giant, Ygritte and many others during the battle between Night’s Watch and the Wildlings. Season 4 ends with the death of Jojen Reed, Shae and Tywin Lannister, a bloody finale season …
Season 5
The first season of Game of Thrones’ season 5 marks the death of Mance Ryder, followed in the following episodes by Lady Cerwyn, Janos Slynt and Barristan Selmy in episode 4. In episode 7, Turn of Maester Aemon, the maestro of Castle Black to Targaryen blood, to make his last breath . It is followed by Shireen Baratheon, Hizdahr Zo Loraq, Selyse Baratheon, Stannis Baratheon, Meryn Trant, Myrcella Baratheon and … Jon Snow! Not for long obviously …
Season 6
Season 6 not only marked the most publicized resurrection in the history of the tv, it was also entitled to its lot of dead. From the first season, Aero Hotah, Trystane Martell and Doran Martell left us. Balon Greyjoy, Roose Bolton, Walda Frey and her baby died cruelly from Ramsay Bolton. In episode 3, Rickon’s wolf, Shaggydog, died as Bowen Marsh, Othell Yarwyck, Alliser Thorne and Olly. Episode 4 marked the end of a lot of khal thanks to the flames of Daenerys and the wildling Osha also succumbed to the murderous pen of the writers. It was then the nice Hodor who died in a heartbreaking scene protecting Bran, and in the same episode the Three-Eyed Crow and Summer Bran’s wolf were also killed by the White Walkers. Next came Lady Crane, Blackfish, Lemoncloak, Gamine, Rickon Stark, Smalljon Umber and Ramsay Bolton, on whom Sansa was able to take her revenge. The final season and the explosion of the Grand Septuaire orchestrated by Cersei also caused a number of deaths : the Grand Maester Pycelle, Lancel Lannister, Kevan Lannister, Loras Tyrell, Mace Tyrell, Margaery Tyrell, Grand Moineau and indirectly Tommen Baratheon . Lothar Frey, Black Walder Rivers and Walder Frey also died there. Kevan Lannister, Loras Tyrell, Mace Tyrell, Margaery Tyrell, Grand Moineau and, indirectly, Tommen Baratheon. The war against the White Walkers and the act of provocation of Cersei will not fail to generate epic battles that we can not wait to see. The Handmaid’s Tale: Episode 5, Mayday, our review

New week and new episode of the first season of The Handmaid’s Tale aired yesterday on Hulu. Check out our review of “Faithful” and pay attention to spoilers.
Yesterday evening a new episode of the first season of The Handmaid’s Tale was broadcast on Hulu and while waiting to find the series on OCS on June 27th at 8:40 pm, you can already discover our review of episode 5 entitled “Faithful”. Since the beginning of the season, “Faithful” plunges us both into the terrifying present of Offred but also in the past of June and more precisely during his meeting with Luke. The theme of love and desire will thus recur throughout the episode, just like that of sex. The return of Ofglen, now Ofsteven, is part of it since Offred finally learns what happened to him and finds himself even more terrified. The homosexuality of the young woman was, according to the Gilead authorities, Incarnated in its genital parts which were thus removed . And if it’s something to shock anyone with a brain, it would seem that Commander Fred Waterford is not one of them. Offred’s interview with her commander, which she is going to see for the purpose of reprimanding her, makes her discover as much as we do a new facet not really sympathetic to the master of the house and serves as a hard reminder to reality : We must not trust anyone.
This observation is also verified when Offred finally gets a response from Nick who confirms that he is an Eye. Despite the threat he represents and the guilt towards Luke, Offred seems no more frightened than that. After a new forced relationship with him orchestrated by Serena Joy, it is of her own volition that she returns to see him at nightfall to offer us the first scene of consenting sex since the beginning of the series. Indeed the mistress of house puts the fertility of her husband in question and is ready to break the rules, like everyone else, when it suits her . The ceremony is thus doubled for Offred whose instrumentalization continues under cover of respect for Fred Waterford and of necessity for Serena Joy.
But in spite of a welcome return, it is very probable that we no longer see the old offred promenade. The act of courage mingled with Ofglen’s unconsciousness falls just after she has taught Offred her real name and that of the resistance network: Mayday. One can only imagine his frustration not knowing where or how to find its members . We suspect, however, that Offred will find a way and hope that she will not be caught. Episode 5 showed us a revolted and exhausted Offred of not being able to make her choices, and who therefore decided to make decisions, however risky they may be. Between her discovery of Mayday, Ofglen’s flashback, her confrontation with Fred and her relationship with Nick, the future seems uncertain for the young woman and one has only haste: See the next episode. Until then, know that The Handmaid’s Tale has already been renewed for a season 2 . And you, what did you think of episode 5?

Big Little Lies: Episode 7, a grand finale, our critic

That’s it, the HBO miniseries event ended last night and we invite you to discover our review of “You Get What You Need”, pay attention to spoilers.
After only a couple of weeks, the first and a priori single season of Big Little Lies ended last night on HBO and a few hours later on OCS City and we admit you miss it already. We suggest you plunge into “You Get What You Need” and watch out for spoilers for those who have not seen the episode. The last chapter of the story is divided into two parts: the first in which each of the heroines goes about its business as usual, and the second during which the famous gala takes place during which the murder takes place. The beginning is marked by a certain violence of the men of the series, perhaps highlighted to raise the tension in crescendo until the murder. Whether it was Joseph who verbally assaulted Madeline who had come to ask him about his wife or Gordon who threatened Jane, the husbands seemed to be on a dangerous path. Yet it is always the same who wins the palm and the episode opens on a Celeste curled up in fetal position, frightened by Perry whose blows are discovered a few scenes later . Thanks to Ziggy, Jane finally learns that it is Max, one of Celeste’s twins, who has been abusing Amabella since the beginning and Celeste finds herself having to fight against violence on all fronts. The way mothers manage it remains exemplary and sets the tone for saving cooperation throughout the episode. Because the gala hour arrives and offers us, slowly but surely, a denouement to all the intrigues, like a symphony brilliantly orchestrated . The talent competition begins and the voice of Zoë Kravitz comes to rhythm the ball, very pleasant. She is followed by an Ed with a soft astonishment voice – lined by singer Conor O’Brien – so sweet that she capsizes Madeline who is overwhelmed by guilt after having doubted her marriage. For once it is Jane who comes to her rescue, who listens to her and reassures her, who restores her strength through her words as Madeline has so often done for her. Meanwhile another drama takes place in the car of Celeste and Perry which gives us the opportunity to also hear the version of Perry. If it can also be a good thing to give the floor to the aggressor, it does not excuse any of the blows given, any physical or verbal attacks suffered by Celeste escaping thanks to Renata.
The recurring violence of men is contrasted with the deep humility of women in the latter part of the episode. Madeline admits her mistakes and finally says she does not need to be perfect, Celeste immediately apologizes to Renata for the behavior of her son, Renata in turn apologizes to Jane for The way she treated Ziggy. Outstretched hands that bear witness to the great heart and strength of character of these women and which seem only more important compared to the futile beatings between Ed and Nathan or between Gordon and Tom . The impromptu but necessary meeting between Jane, Madeline, Celeste and Renata is interrupted by Perry who is closely followed by a suspicious Bonnie.
In a few seconds and in spite of her ridiculous accoutrement of Elvis, Jane recognizes in Perry its aggressor, the one who raped her then abandoned, the father of Ziggy. The scene cuts to bring us to the mute testimonies of the five women whose interviewer is no more needed to know the words to know what they are saying. Back to the night of the gala: Perry, impaled on the stairs in construction and five women who no doubt feel a powerful mixture of terror and relief. The death of Perry will finally be shown interspersed with images of the sea as indomitable, unstoppable and powerful as those women who fight each day to survive, each in their own way . Knowing that Bonnie is the culprit has little importance. The series ends on her heroines together, Those that have always been at the center of history, far more than murder or anything else. Madeline, Celeste, Bonnie, Renata and Jane already shared many things before adding their terrible secret to the list. HBO offers us a scene of late bittersweet, like the reality that its characters have so well transmitted in a miniseries breathtaking and very well conducted. Dilemma between work and family life, divorce, rape, domestic violence, deceit … all these subjects were approached in depth and accurately while music, talent and intrigue were at the rendezvous. It will be necessary to look in our program series of the week to find a series that will fill the lack left by Big Little Lies and her heroines. And you, what did you think of the “

Westworld season 2: What we want to see in the next episodes

Until 2018, Westworld continues to obsess us! What are the intrigues you really want to see in Season 2?

Not easy to recover from the season 1 of Westworld ! It was a long time ago that a series had not made us such an effect. Unfortunately, to find the new episodes of this small nugget, one must take his trouble patiently. It is indeed in 2018 that will return for its season 2 Westworld . Meanwhile, many questions and other theories trotted in our little heads and our expectations for the next episodes are quite HUGE one must admit. Hoping that the show HBO (released in France on OCS ) to live up to his return, that the intrigue that we absolutely want to find in the second chapter of Westworld …
The revolution in several parks … and outside?
We know this new season Westworld looks totally chaotic and bloody. As the tease the different members of the show team, finished playing, the serious things finally start. Robots are not going to stop there and the human team should take very very expensive . At the head of this revolution, Dolores should still surprise us … and she is not the only one! Will we finally discover the outside world (which, according to our latest information is in 2052)? What is certain is that of new parks will be introduced as Samurai World we discovered in the Season Finale. The universe Westworld will therefore greatly widen (it will still be expensive to HBO that!) And, to our delight! A bigger world, but what about time? Will there still be several timelines? Mystery…
The last round of Dr. Ford
Difficulty we still have to believe in the death of Ford … Already because it would really sucks not find Anthony Hopkins in Season 2, but because we want to believe that the co-creator of the park Had one last trick in his bag! Did he create a robot in his image to leave him the pleasure of taking a bullet in the head in his place? Will he be present in another form during the next episodes? One thing is certain, it is hoped that the legacy of Ford will be missed in this season 2 Westworld ! Maybe thanks to this good old Bernard?
William aka the Man in black aka the ally of the robots?
Now that the mystery of his identity has FINALLY been resolved and we already know that Ed Harris will be back in season 2 of Westworld , one wonders what will make our dear William. He was left in a dirty position in the final minutes of the season finale but like any naughty self-respecting gentleman is apparently released (free?)! What will be his next thrust? Which team will it join during this ambient chaos that promises? We’d love to see the side of the robots in the next episodes of Westworld , do not you?
After a season wanting to take control and leave the park that kept her prisoner, Maeve finally backed off in the final minutes of the Season Finale. A poignant and unexpected scene which proved once again that it is one of the pillars of the series. Revenue in the park for her daughter Maeve should make every effort to find her . Knowing her, those who will cross her way should spend a dirty quarter of an hour! How will she get her hand on her kid while the robot revolt is raging? As in the first season of Westworld , plot Maeve likely to be our favorite!
This is the downside of this first season. Accustomed to the roles of knight without substance , James Marsden has not really had to work his game to slip into the skin of Teddy, the beloved Dolores. If throughout the episodes we wondered what was really the interest of this character, the Season Finale made us see a new side of Teddy … Does it be exploited as it should be in season 2 of Westworld ? We hope so! What role will he play in robot revolt now that he seems detached from his precious Dolores? Answer in 2018!
Well, you’ll understand that we expect LOTS of Season 2 of Westworld (and it is clearly not the only ones)! Nolan and his fine team have all the cards and the time necessary to produce a second chapter as rich and intriguing as the season 1 … And you, what are you waiting for upcoming episodes?

Westworld Season 2: New parks, chaos … the latest spoilers on!

Meanwhile Season 2 of HBO show, it takes stock of the latest spoilers with actors Westworld …

So yes, the season 2 of Westworld surely begin until January 2018 , but it is already time to think … and above all to talk about. After the huge success of its first chapter, the show and its creators are expected to turn. Jonathan Nolan and JJ Abrams will they manage to captivate us as much in the second season of Westworld ? They shall in any case the odds on their side taking their time. A guarantee of quality ? We hope so! Anyway, if season 2 is still at the stage of pre-production , many other theories and spoilers already invaded the Internets since the release of the Season Finale on December 4 …
