Poor Sam … This season 3 of Outlander promises to put our eyes full. Touring Scotland and South Africa, the scenery will be grand and the episodes should make us travel with our heroes. Good news for Outlander fans. Two characters were cast for season 3 of the TV show, one of whom will be very close to Jamie. We tell you more!
Good news ! Outlander fans will be delighted. While some news comes in dropperly about season 3 of the show TV, new news have come to us and they are rather enticing. Two new key characters of Diana Gabaldon’s novels will land in the show and they have already been casted. One in particular will have an important role since it is Jamie’s confidant in this third chapter. While Sam Heughan (Jamie) and Caitriona Balfe (Claire) unveiled if they had read the Outlander books , we will discover today what will be the two new faces of the TV show and both say they promise to sacred moments. Who are these characters and who are the actors who will embody them? The suspense has lasted enough, discover the answer immediately!
Season 3 of Outlander has two new members to its cast. Gary Young and Charlie Hiett will land in the show and they will respectively interpret Mr. Willoughby and Captain Thomas Leonard . Mr Willoughby is a Chinese person with a thorough knowledge of Oriental medicine who speaks very good English but hides it when it suits him. He is also a talented poet in exile. Over the course of the episodes, he will become very close to Jamie and will be his confidant. For his part, Captain Thomas Leonard will be inexperienced. The 2017 People’s Choice Awards were broadcast last night in the United States and it is now high time to discover the winners for each category.
Golden Globe Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Emmy Awards, TCA Awards … There are awards ceremonies in the US and last night is that of the People’s Choice Awards held. The peculiarity of this is that the public is the sole judge of all categories. In fact, there are 32 categories on television and we see that everyone is a bit of a winner. The winner still remains Outlander, which we expect the trailer for season 3 . Indeed, the series of Starz won four awards: one for Best Series, one for Best SF Series a premium channel, one for Best Actor in a SF series and one for Best Actress in a Series SF . For its part, Bates Motel has won three awards: Best Series on a Cable Channel, Best Actor on a Cable Channel and Best Actress on a Cable Channel. Gray’s Anatomy won two awards: Best Drama and Best Actor in a Drama for Justin Chambers.
On the comedy side, The Big Bang Theory distinguished itself by being the winner of two categories: Best Comedy and Best Actor in a comedy for Jim Parsons. The pretty Priyanka Chopra returned with the trophy of the Best Actress in a Drama for Quantico. We do not forget This is Us who was elected Best New Drama and The Walking Dead which was crowned Best Series Cable SF .
