The Salvatore and their friends bid farewell on March 10th. But if the series is finished, we are not ready to forget the mythical universe of the show that is currently found in season 4 of The Originals. In addition, a new spin-off of The Vampire Diaries around Caroline could soon see the light of day . This should make the fans of Julie Plec’s series very happy. One thing is certain, if it is difficult to draw a line on The Vampire Diaries it is because the show will have marked a whole generation. His heroes, his love stories or his various villains will remain for a long time in the annals because they marked the spirits in eight years of ” existence. The editor of melty offers you to return to the top 5 of the best villains of The Vampire Diaries !
5. Qetsiyah
If it only appeared in a few episodes, Qetsiyah left his imprint in The Vampire Diaries unlike other villains such as Markos or Atticus Shane. She was one of the most powerful witches of all time so right away, it throws it away! Determined, paranoid and a little crazy on the edges, discovering that Silas had betrayed her, she wanted to forever separated her fiancé and her rival Amara. Thus, it did not hesitate to dry up its enemy by imprisoning it and transforming it into Anchor during the creation of the Other Side. She then buried Silas living with the only dose of remedy against existing immortality to wear. It does not laugh! Not to mention that she did not hesitate to attack Elena when she arrived in Mystic Falls …
4. Silas
Stefan’s first look-alike was much worse than her ex-fiancée Qetsiyah . In particular, he made the witch believe that he was in love with her so that she could create a fate of immortality which he hastened to give to his true love, Amara. Not cool ! It is he who is at the origin of the cruelty of Qatsiyah. Nowadays, he was terrible because of his telepathic powers and his resemblance to Stefan, which he used to deceive the people of Mystic Falls. Arrogant and cruel, Silas killed Bonnie’s father in front of the witch, tried to strangle Katherine and force Damon to kill Stefan … In short, a real villain as they are loved!
3. Katherine
If there is one that has given the Salvatore a hard time, it is Katherine . Every time they thought they had defeated her for good, Elena’s doppleganger came back even stronger and thirsty for vengeance and blood. Even as a human, she was diabolical. So much so that she eventually became the Queen of Hell! Katherine, back in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , was also a very good villain because she shared a strong emotional connection with the Salvatore. We loved to hate it from beginning to end!
2. Kai
Kai deserves the second place of the best villains because the sorcerer was a real psychopath who gave cold sweats to the viewers but especially to the characters of The Vampire Diaries . Kai, very justly interpreted by Chris Wood, was both terrible and fun. Moreover, his actions had consequences for several seasons. We will not forget it soon!
1. Klaus
Since the beginning of The Originals , we have discovered a completely different Klaus. It is even difficult to remember the hybrid as an anti-hero. Yet, when Klaus appeared in the second season of The Vampire Diaries , he was simply terrifying. Selfish, desperate to get his way, bloody but still dear to our hearts and close to Salvatore, Klaus is the best villain of the series and its presence in particular mark the best seasons of the vampire show. And according to you the meltynauts, who is the best villain of The Vampire Diaries?
The post The Vampire Diaries season 8: Klaus, Kai, Katherine, top 5 of the best villains of the series first appeared on The Siver Times.

However, the death of one of them is still difficult to swallow when we have just dried our tears. Indeed, it was poor Stefan who sacrificed himself in episode 16 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries . But why him? Kevin Williamson, one of the showrunners, told TV Guide about it. It was not always Stefan who was to die in the Final Series, Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson thought of several options. The co-creator first came back on the importance of not killing Bonnie . “Everybody was supposed to die. There were so many conversations in the screenwriters’ room. Everyone had these great ideas. I’m only sad that we can not put everything in because it was only 42.5 minutes. But there were so many possibilities. It was very important for us not to kill Bonnie. Bonnie should not have to die for Elena’s happiness. It was this conversation of ‘Oh, Bonnie can go away and be with Enzo because that’s exactly what she would like.’ Like, no. This is not what Enzo would like. Bonnie needs a fulfilled and rich life. She needs a happy ending. So it was important to us, so we could not kill Bonnie. ” He said. Kevin Williamson also claimed that Matt could not die in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries otherwise his survival in this world of vampires during all this time would not have been consistent. “We could not kill him, because if he lived as long as a human, he needs to go on. If we’d killed him, it would have been in season 4. You can not do it In season 8. “, he admitted. If we mourn Stefan, know that he could not have been the only one to die! But ultimately after a careful reflection, the choice then turned to one of the two brothers Salvatore. If Stefan sacrificed himself and was to die in this Final Series, It was because it was the only way he had towards redemption after serving Cade and assassinated Enzo in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. “It was really between Damon and Stefan, we got rid of Katherine, we killed Katherine, we knew we were going to bring her back, and there was a conversation that Damon and Stefan both died. There was a conversation about Damon killing Katherine and saving the city and saving everyone. For me, where the story was when I walked in and got involved, Stefan had just been the Ripper for a while Long period of time and he killed Enzo, and the only way he could come back from there, I felt, was to kill him, which is why he must have died, ” Williamson said. Was really between Damon and Stefan. We got rid of Katherine. We killed Katherine. We knew we were going to bring her back. There was a conversation that Damon and Stefan both died. And then there was a conversation about Damon killing Katherine and saving the city and saving everyone. Good news, Stefan will not be on his own waiting for Damon and his loved ones. The youngest of the Salvatore found his best friend Lexi , which of course made his death less painful in The Vampire Diaries . “She’s always been there for him.” Once you’ve learned, ‘Oh, they’re better friends.’ “And once we understood who she was and what she did, in that little moment she Stefan for Elena when they got to know each other, and seeing Lexi gave us another side of Stefan at a time when he was just a dark vampire. This girl, now I’m more interested in Stefan. She really helped to shape her like a character. And she’s always been there for him. It turns out that she was the one who helped her to be a Ripper. She has always been there for him and brought him back. It’s perfect , “he went on, as the final scene of Season 8 of The Vampire Diaries was explained to you, and the Salvatore brothers were found together. , Without the death of Stefan, the fact that Caroline may have a future in New Orleans would not have been possible. The vampire was to die for the story to continue … And you, what do you think of the Choice of Stefan’s death in the Final Series of The Vampire Diaries? The fact that Caroline may have a future in New Orleans would not have been possible. In episode 16, a character sacrificed as we were revealed to you in our criticism . If you have not yet watched “I Was Feeling Epic” , go back later to read this article that contains many spoilers. If you have seen it, you can continue reading … If we were led to believe that Damon had forced Stefan to escape, the youngest of the Salvatore was foresighted and had taken verbena. He then sacrificed for the happiness of Elena and his brother in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries . After a good human life, The young woman has found her whole family but especially the two brothers Salvatore have been reunited with one of the mythical “Hello, Brother” from Damon to Stefan. Is it real ? Without the Other Side, how is this possible? The co-creator Kevin Williamson explained this final scene of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. “Well, it’s a little interpretive, if you ask Julie [Plec], I think. The idea was that the montage shows a direction and we had a suggestion of what happened to our characters .” “He told TV Guide. How is it possible ? If Damon confided that Hell could reopen for him in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries, he finally found peace . “Damon, as the voice-over tells us, was worried about never seeing Stefan again, it was just Elena assuring him that he would find peace, we treated this other side of the darkness for several seasons, but there is And there’s the peace there, and Damon is going to find her, if you’re looking for her, you’ll find her, and we wanted to get this last moment to see that yes, Elena found her and yes, Damon Also found him, and it looked like his brother, ” explained the co-creator of the show. But if Delena lived a long and beautiful life together, Why did they seem so young in this Final Series of The Vampire Diaries ? ” The idea that all this show was about loss, grief, loss of people and ultimately I guess the final message is that all those people who have trained us and guided along the way live in us and if you Look inside, so we come out of reality right now and showed what it would look like, actually they were living and aging, but in the voice-over I can not remember word for word, but I think she says, ‘Damon will find peace.’ And then she looks at the porch and sees her family and then Damon goes home and sees Stefan. ” , Said Kevin Williamson. The co-creator has also revived the importance of some key features, such as “Hello Brother” , from The Vampire Diaries and present in the Series Finale. “I wanted a ‘Dear diary’, it was the other line that was really important, I wanted Elena to say, ‘Dear diary’ Originally in the editing, it started with everyone and ended with Elena I said, ‘No, no, no, we have to start with’ Dear Diary, ‘and we have to put it in the cemetery, and Julie said,’ Yes, yes, yes! ‘ And then we started and finished with it. ” , He revealed. Finally, that Damon and Elena find theirs was also important according to Kevin Williamson. ” From the beginning, we wanted to write a show about a family. The show was about family, loss and grief, because it was really about Elena losing her family […] It was always Stefan and Elena with both loss and grief trying to ” Learn to live again. And she turned to good vampires on the way. ” And if you hope that Bonnie will find Enzo when she finds peace , Kevin Williamson said, ” If that’s what she wants , I think she will do it because that’s what peace is. ” That’s what Benzo fans should be delighted with!

Last night the US channel The CW aired episode 6 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. Then discover our critique of “Backwoods detoured On Some Random Path to Hell.”

The episode begins Alaric and Caroline are talking to the police following the disappearance of their daughters, Lizzie and Josie. Very soon we discover that the Seline plan is to offer the twin Cade in exchange for his freedom and that of his sister, Sybil. However, the latter has decided otherwise and we will very soon realize that the above in their relationship. We must admit we had a little trouble identifying the two women because if Seline seemed ruthless in episode 5 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , it is much less than her sister. When Cade appears, Sybil offered him another market: it takes Stefan and Damon instead binoculars because they are already the killers and they will be much more effective.
If, in normal times, we guess it’s the kind of thing that Stefan would not let happen, the circumstances that led to all this make it found itself cornered. Indeed, at the beginning of the episode, when Caroline is preparing to leave in search of her daughters, she refuses to help Stefan and even decides to make him her engagement ring, insisting that there would of “us” as it is not settled. We clearly see that Stefan is hurt by his actions and we also found the reaction Caroline a little extreme. But now, the young woman is desperate to save his daughters, and Stefan will then go to agree to sell his soul to the devil to provide Caroline what she wants . When the two lovebirds finally meet and Caroline apologizes putting the ring on her finger, then Stefan reveals to him that they have only 24 hours after all and he will be Cade.
Our dear Caroline is therefore likely to regain some alone since it also has said Alaric to take the twins away from here and especially away from her. Earlier, under the influence of emotion, Alaric Carolina accused of being the cause of the abduction of girls, taking care to remind him that it was not his but those of Jo and her. The scenes between Alaric and Caroline are among the best of the episode, as they are emotionally charged and rather shocking. One wonders then how Caroline will manage all these upheavals. Finally, the episode ends a scene rather unexpected since Matt Damon and Alaric take by surprise and decided to deal with him. But what they do not know is that Damon is now immortal thanks to contract with Cade … Alaric must be really out of it to be one that will even kill Damon, apparently they are no longer BFF . We feel that episode 6 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries marks the opening of a new chapter in this final season, plus we learn that Sybil plan is far from over. What did you think of this episode?
The post The Vampire Diaries Season 8: Episode 6, two new victims for Cade, our criticism first appeared on The Siver Times.
