Back to the past! Yes, the meltynauts, while our impatience eats us from the inside until the release of the sixth part of Arrow, it is time to take stock of the most emblematic villains of the show . While Melty’s editor suggested you discover our top 3 episodes of Arrow’s 5 season , what villain has been most successful throughout the episodes? Between Malcolm Merlyn, Deathstroke, Ra’s Al Ghul, Damien Darhk and Prometheus, we are clearly spoiled for choice!
Malcolm Merlyn
We tend to forget it but it was indeed the first Big Bad of the series. Determined to put the city back in order according to its own rules, he had killed Tommy unintentionally and caused an incredible number of casualties in Star City. But as time went by, he had managed to win a strange place in Team Arrow still landing at the right time to save the stake to Oliver . He ended up finding his redemption at the end of last season by sacrificing himself to save Thea. Iconic yes but maybe not the best villain!
Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke
It’s hard to compare to the giant Slade Wilson was in season 2. As ruthless as he was for revenge, he still killed Moira in front of Thea and Oliver. He is also behind some of the best episodes of the show. Especially since we must not forget that Slade was at first a friend of our hero and his betrayal was therefore only more painful . But the Season Finale allowed him to redeem himself. The opportunity to make us forget his mistakes?
Ra’s Al Ghul
Ra’s A Ghul showed his face only very late in the series but was determined to make Oliver his successor. A leader of the League of Assassins, he almost killed our hero in the middle of season 3 in a scene that is still particularly cult. Thanks to him, it is a whole other universe that we have learned to discover. But is he the best of the bad guys in our eyes? A little less frightening than expected, it could well have been surpassed by the others.
Damien Darhk
Brilliantly played by Neal McDonough, Damien Darhk was formidable in the fourth season of Arrow. Ready to do everything to rebuild the city in his image, he has met many times with the Team until Oliver discovers his greatest weakness: his family. From then on, things took a new turn and our hero managed to regain the advantage . After a whole season of difficulty, was it not too easy a conclusion?
Adrian Chase aka Prometheus
The last Big Bad of the show gave Oliver a hard time. Trying to destroy him from the inside by all possible means, he did not hesitate to kidnap and torture him. A villain without any weakness who has not had the least scruple to kill his own wife to get vengeance! This makes him one of the best villains of the CW’s flagship show . One thing is certain, we are looking forward to knowing who will be the next Big Bad of the series. Arrow Season 5: The Team in Danger, 5 Ways to Solve the End Cliffhanger!

What have they become ? Yes, the meltynauts, since the release of the final season of the fifth season of the show CW flagship , fans are terribly worried. Can the producers have had the audacity to kill the entire Team? While melty’s editor suggested you discover why Arrow Season 6 was going to mark a real turning point in the series , here are 5 different ways to solve the famous end cliffhanger:
An in-extremis escape
This is the most popular theory among fans! Remember, Deathstroke was supposed to guide the Team to a boat so they could all escape . Since Slade has spent a lot of time on the island, it’s a safe bet he could have borrowed several shortcuts to lead our favorite characters to the boat before it was too late. Perhaps that would allow everyone to forgive him once and for all?
Shipwrecked
One can also imagine that our heroes could decide to use the carcass of the plane in order to shelter there. For that, they would have to use it as a floating raft which would offer us a very interesting storyline of shipwrecked. The links between the characters would then be tested and this could lead to crisp revelations. We hope that they will not stop killing each other!
ARGUS to the rescue
As we know, Diggle and Lyla have a habit of always protecting each other. It is therefore possible that John revealed his plans to his wife pushing Lyla to take his precautions. This would not be the first time that the organization would be a providential aid for the Team . And perhaps this rescue would finish reconciling the two lovers who have undergone sacred trials lately.
An Unexpected Savior
What if Evelyn suddenly decided to change camp? Yes, let us not forget that Prometheus did not hesitate a second to betray the girl while she had been a fidelity to any trial. She would then have been able to take care of the boat in order to start taking the path of redemption. This is a storyline that would be very interesting for the next season of the show.
Important sacrifices
The last possibility would be absolutely heartbreaking for all fans who respect themselves because it would mean that several important characters would leave us at the end of this fifth season . If some of them are mere collateral damage (Talia or Artemis), others would be victims who would be greatly missed. Lance or Mister Terrific could be sacrificed to save the others. What a Season Final! After episode 23 of Arrow’s season 5, the future of Oliver’s team is very uncertain . Indeed, Chase had obviously planned everything. If the mayor of Star City did everything he could to kill his enemy while saving all his relatives, Prometheus did not intend to let him win. This episode titled “Lian Yu” was very intense and scary. While Team Arrow is in great danger, one of the series’ lead characters was killed before the great fight of Oliver and Chase began. Indeed, Malcolm sacrificed for Thea in the Season Finale of the Arrow 5 season . The father of Tommy and the young woman was not a good man but we never forget this beautiful gesture of love. Slade advises Oliver to forgive himself
It is always a pleasure to find Manu Bennett in the skin of Slade . In this Season Finale, he was no longer the terrifying Deathstroke but the friend Oliver had met 10 years earlier. Slade urged our hero to do the most difficult thing he could, forgive himself. “You suffer from the guilt of the survivor.” “You can not get past your father’s death.” “When it comes to you, everything has to do with your father.” , did he declare. “The only way to bury this ghost is to forgive you yourself, ” he told Oliver. These words have already had a big impact on this Season 5 season finale of Arrow.
Oliver refuses to kill Chase
Thanks to Slade and his friends, Oliver became a better man . Prometheus did everything he could to push his rival to the end so he killed him and at the same time sacrificed all his friends. The Arrow Season 5 Season Finals leave doubt about the future of Oliver’s Team. Check out our review of “Lian Yu”!
Last night, in episode 23 of Arrow’s Season 5, Oliver and Slade united against Prometheus . Did they defeat Chase? Was this Season Finale up to our expectations? Melty’s editorial reveals his criticism of this last episode of Arrow’s Season 5 . “Lian Yu” opens with Oliver and Slade. The latter seems to be himself again because the Miraku no longer works. He regrets his actions and seems ready to help Oliver who offers to lend a helping hand to him to find his son. Slade then finds the mask of Deathstroke. “You and me kid, like before,” he announces. Oliver will have to try to unite his new team better and it is not won. However, he quickly manages to find Thea, Felicity and Samantha as Captain Boomerang turns against him when Evelyn and Talia appear . Fortunately, Slade chooses Oliver’s camp and Nyssa arrives at the right time to make her sister doubt. In a flashback, Kovar discovers the empty cell of Oliver while the latter is still captured a few minutes later or almost! The hero manages to kill the 6 men of Kovar by himself. If Felicity and Thea have difficulty understanding Slade’s presence, Green Arrow asks Malcolm, Curtis and Thea to take Felicity and Samantha to Chase’s plane for shelter. While Oliver plans to help Evelyn despite his treason, Felicity embraces Oliver just before leaving. Olicity is on the right voice in Arrow 5 season ! For their part, Dinah, Diggle, Rene and Quentin are locked up by Black Siren. Even the cry of Black Canary can not save them because his gift is blocked thanks to a technology. Chase really has it all!
Slade makes the voice of wisdom by admitting to Oliver that he is suffering from the survivor’s syndrome and that he must forgive himself for Robert’s suicide and all that followed . Oh Slade, you missed us ! Meanwhile, Thea is walking on a mine! Immediately, Malcolm tries to save his daughter by taking his place. When Captain Boomerang found himself alone, Malcolm did not hesitate to sacrifice himself in the Season 5 season finale of Arrow. Thea is upset, she does not finally hate her father. As for Nyssa, she finds the place where Chase retains the Oliver Team while Slade suggests to separate. Once Nyssa has his back turned, he puts KO Oliver and announces to Black Siren that he has a gift for Chase. It does not smell good for Oliver! While Curtis and Felicity understand that the island is covered with explosives, Oliver and the rest of his team manage to free themselves with a Curtis technology that makes his cry to Dinah. Nyssa and Talia fight an epic battle and Slaaaade comes to help Oliver’s “wife”! Yes, he’s still on the side of the Green Arrow, his punch was just a diversion. It is finally the hour of the great fight between Chase and Oliver in this Season Finale of the season 5 of Arrow . In a flashback, our hero is about to kill Kovar but ends up with a weapon unloaded. The battle between the two men finds a striking parallel with the current battle. Special mention to Quentin who does not fail to knock the Laurel d ‘ Earth 2. In the past, Oliver does not hesitate to break the neck of Kovar while in the present, he finds himself in exactly the same situation with Chase. The Green Arrow struggles not to kill him although his rival encourages him to show who he really is. “No, that’s what I was before,” he says. Chase then announces that William is dead but Oliver refuses to believe or become the man that his enemy wants him to be. Again, the flashbacks and the present are similar when Oliver runs through Lian Yu to save his son. Five years ago, he joined a fishing boat while today he finds himself on that of his rival. Oliver is sure his team can escape but Chase sabotaged the plane. Slade must then take them to the other side of the island to find the ARGUS. Chase retains William and Oliver must choose between his son or all the others . He then shoots on Chase without killing him and a new flashback takes us back 5 years earlier, when Oliver announced by phone to Moira that he was alive. This is a really touching scene. But when it was thought that the Green Arrow had won, Chase committed suicide and exploded everything leaving the fate of all those who were on the island very uncertain. Are they really dead? Summer is going to be very long! The Season Finals of the first two seasons are among the best episodes of the entire series, while those of Seasons 3 and 4 were somewhat disappointed. With “Lian Yu” , Arrow hits hard. The episode was, let’s not be afraid to say it, brilliant and probably the best of all! It has continued to improve until the end, with particularly perfectly choreographed and memorable combat scenes. This Season Finale looped looped. If the conclusion is dramatic and the expectation of season 6 is agonizing, it is a real pleasure to find Manu Bennett in the role of Slade. His fraternal relationship with Oliver, very complex since the death of Shado, Was one of the greatest strengths of this episode. This is a 10/10 for “Lian Yu” . Highly season 6 of Arrow ! Arrow season 5: Episode 23, SPOILER sacrifices himself in the Season Finale

Last night, The CW broadcast the Season Finale of Arrow’s Season 5. In this episode 23, a character has sacrificed himself, yes but which one?
Last week, in episode 22 of Arrow’s season 5, Oliver had teamed up with Nyssa and Malcolm to counter Chase . This rather unusual union was not as surprising as that which he made in this Season Finale. Yes, our Green Arrow has joined one of its worst enemies, Slade, who remembered had killed his mother. We are still charmed by this duo despite their past. However, this was not the only significant event in this episode 23 of Arrow’s Season 5 , as a character sacrificed himself to save the team from the Green Archer . This death really touched us! But then who lost his life in this Season Finale? Thea, Felicity, Diggle, Malcolm, Nyssa …? Discover it immediately!
In this Season Finale of Arrow Season 5 , a character is dead. Even though he has long been detested, this act really moved us. It was Malcolm, who sacrificed himself to save Team Arrow and especially his daughter. Speedy had walked on a mine and he took his place to save her. Their farewells were heart-rending and sincere. Malcolm Merlyn had his faults, it was like Felicity told Thea “A bad person, a father even worse but nevertheless, he loved you in his own way.” . And it can be said that it summarizes everything. Obviously, Thea has remained in shock and despite all the horrors he has done to him, his father is missing. However, as we know with Arrow, The characters are never really dead . Arrow season 5: Episode 22, Oliver, Malcolm and Nyssa united against Chase, our critic!

While the episode 22 of the season 5 of Arrow has just been broadcast on the CW, let’s return together on the main lines of “Missing”!
It’s almost the end ! And yes the meltynauts, the reign of Prometheus is more and more terrible and it is indeed the first time that our green archer finds himself faced with a threat so impossible to stop. Adrian Chase is able to predict his slightest gestures and if Oliver does not find a solution quickly to surprise him, all the people he loves will suffer the price. While Melty’s editor suggested that you discover our criticism of Arrow 21’s Season 5 episode 21 , let’s go back to the major Missing events that were broadcast last night on the CW . And the least we can say, Is that the well deserved rest of our favorite team will still have to wait a little while since Chase has several tricks in his bag. For if Oliver felt something was going wrong, Felicity and Thea had not seen anything come to the point of organizing a surprise birthday for our hero. This is what to disconcert him, he who had not celebrated his birthday for years. But this surprise party is also an opportunity to see that Oliver and Felicity are ready to give themselves another chance. Exit Susan, Oliver has not the slightest thought for her and rejoices in advance to go back out with her ex. Unfortunately for him, things quickly turn into a tragic turn when Dinah and Rene disappear without a trace followed by Curtis .
Bad idea, since even when he tries to think differently to surprise Prometheus, he realizes that the Big Bad of the season has already thought of all the contingencies. After an express alliance with Nyssa, the trio then headed to the island where Oliver lived the hell. But this time, our hero has a precise plan in mind and he intends to use all his assets to prevent Chase from killing those he loves. And so it is in Deathstroke that he asks for help. Will the Big Bag of the second season agree to lend him a hand despite all the hatred he feels? One thing is certain, Chase will not let go of the affair without a confrontation at the top and now that he has brought his own team together, he also has a big strike force at his fingertips. Will he be finally put out of harm? In short, it was a very good episode which was well controlled and whose rhythm was very effective. No fill scene in ” One of our favorite characters is clearly in danger of death . But then, who will succumb from the hands of Chase? Who will survive? Arrow season 5: Episode 21, did Oliver really beat Chase? Our criticism

Oliver finally took the lead on Chase in episode 21 of Arrow’s season 5 but for how long? Check out our review of “Honor Thy Fathers”!
Last week, we saw the return of Olicity in episode 20 of Arrow’s season 5 or at least their complicity. Oliver and Felicity had been trapped by Chase, who now expected to attack the son of the hero, William. Did he find the little boy? The melac editor offers you to discover the criticism of the episode 21 of the season 5 of Arrow. “Honor Thy Fathers” opens on Oliver who, after learning bad news, receives a package from Simon Morrison aka Adrian Chase. He finds the body of a certain Henry Goodwin who seems to have no connection with Chase or his father, Justin Claybourne. For her part, Felicity admits she is having a hard time finding William. If the Green Arrow is reassured, Prometheus’ Has found … While Thea is finally back, Oliver learns that Goodwin’s killer is none other than … their father, Robert Queen . The Green Arrow and Speedy are in shock but Oliver is confident that Chase has trapped his father and intends to prove it. However, Thea doubt! Later, Oliver and Diggle find themselves trapped, Chase tries to bury them alive in cement as was the case for Goodwin. Fortunately, Dinah and Curtis drop their mission and come to their rescue. If the team thinks it was a trap at first, she finally realized that it was just a distraction to keep Derek Sampson and Dinah from Curtis in Arrow 5’s season . The latter has stolen components, Used Justin Claybourne to recreate the deadly virus of arterial tuberculosis. Charming !
Quentin then puts them on the path of Coffman, the advocate of Chase’s father and … Goodwin. This is the bond between the two men! Thea and Oliver meet Coffman who hands them a usb key, given by Chase. The mayor understands that the lawyer had been in contact with Prometheus for a long time. One thing is certain, there will surely be retaliation in Arrow’s Season 5 . That does not mean anything good for the weeks to come! In the present, Oliver refuses to watch the video contained on the usb key. But while the hero tries to neutralize Derek Sampson, Thea obviously takes advantage to watch the video of 2002 where we can see Robert kill Goodwin . It was an accident but Oliver’s father and Thea did kill a man and protected himself by removing the surveillance videos that incriminated him. If Oliver is once again in shock, Thea is getting used to this kind of unpleasant surprises … Later, Felicity understands that Chase plans to make a virus far more murderous and powerful than his father. Thanks to a very beautiful speech by Felicity during one of the best scenes of the episode, Oliver is rebooted and put on the costume of Green Arrow again . Finally !
While the Team is trying to stop Sampson, Oliver and Prometheus are clashing in an epic brawl . Oliver tells his rival that Justin Claybourne was going to disinherit him, not because he was his illegitimate son but because he knew he was crazy. Chase tries to honor the memory of a man who was ashamed of him. That hurts! Chase had never been seen as vulnerable. Arrow 5’s big bad kneels before Oliver and offers his sword to kill him. Obviously, the hero prefers that his rival faces justice. It is Argus who will take care of his case. Later, Oliver decides to give Thea the video that their father recorded for her. He does not want her to believe she is destined to be like her parents. The past remains of the past! During a flashback, Anatoly and Oliver have everything planned for the latter to go home but it was without counting on Kovar which delayed the return of the hero. At Star City, Oliver makes a moving speech about his father. Chase does not miss a crumb. What does he prepare? His smile tells us that it is not over . Is there anything to do with William that we had no news during the episode? We really do not know what to expect! The last two episodes promise to be very surprising! As for “Honor Thy Fathers” , it was a good episode between revelations and physical and psychological battles. The plot was interesting and knew how to keep us in suspense. What happened between the end of Prometheus and the arrival of the crew of the Covenant on the planet of Engineers? They tell you everything. Attention, SPOILERS!
But what happened to Elizabeth Shaw and the Android David, embodied by Michael Fassbender ? At the last news, at the end of Prometheus , they were seen heading to the planet of engineers to find answers. But in Alien Covenant , it’s all other characters that we will follow and if we know that David will be in the game and Noomi Rapace has been announced to the cast, it is clear that we know nothing more about their role in the film. A prologue of Alien Covenant published ten days ago unveiled some of what had happened after they left. When Sony and Marvel reached an agreement to bring Spider-Man back to the MCU, they promised us that we would not re-stuff the villains of the previous two trilogies. Alien Covenant will be the occasion for Ridley Scott to expand the universe of this franchise existing since 79. But what links will the film have with Prometheus?

While the episode 6 of season 5 of Arrow was broadcast last night on the CW, it’s time for the editorial ‘of melty to deliver our critical episode in a rich revelations!

Do we know finally who is Prometheus? And yes meltynautes this week, Arrow has finally decided to give us a lead on the identity of the Big Bad this season. If we knew his murderous quest was quite personal, we did not know yet how far he had decided to attack our hero . Between terribly cruel and weapons very popular assassinations, Prometheus is not here for fun and no need to be clairvoyant to understand that the confrontation that Green Arrow to Prometheus will be a never reached violence in show . While the editorial ‘of melty proposed to discover the secrets of Stephen Amell about Felicity in season 5 of Arrow , back in detail on the main events of “So It Begins” aired last night on the CW .
