Sony Xperia XA1 vs. Huawei P10 Lite: We compared their cameras

The Huawei P10 Lite and the Sony Xperia XA1 are two new mid-range smartphones. To decide between them, we decided to compare their cameras by taking several photos. The result is amazing!
Sony and Huawei launched a few weeks ago new smartphones in the mid-range market: the Xperia XA1 and the P10 Lite . If these two devices have everything to please, it is difficult to separate them with the naked eye, without knowing the technical sheets. At the writing, we did not hesitate to take pictures with both terminals, without changing the settings in the Photo apps. And the result is really unexpected. The Chinese smartphone seems to be more efficient than the new Japanese terminal.

If the Huawei P10 is very good in photo thanks to its dual sensor designed in partnership with Leica, the P10 Lite did not yield to the sirens of the dual photo sensor. The less muscular version of the P10 is satisfied with a single sensor of 12 megapixels which reminds us the color objective of the Huawei P9 . But the photo quality is pretty cool. Well, you’re going to put a cross on Bokeh mode or Portrait mode but, the picture quality should meet your expectations. As for the Xperia XA1 from Sony, it has an enormous photo sensor with a resolution of 23 Mpx at the back, much more than what we usually see on this segment.
As you can see from these pictures, the camera of the P10 is really not bad. Without any adjustment, its sensor makes very beautiful or even unrealistic photos (one might think that the HDR mode is activated), especially when they are displayed on the screen very bright colors of the P10 Lite . As for the Xperia XA1 Lite, its sensor is victim of a small veil, which spoils a little rendering. If the two smartphones offer nice qualities, I personally prefer to shopper a Huawei P10 whose dual photo sensor is putting everyone in agreement or, just waiting for the release of the Xperia XZ Premium that seems to tutoyer perfection . The Bose QuietControl 30 headphones made my ears happy. After an easy pairing on the iPhone 7 and / or the MacBook Pro 2016, I was able to test the new kings of noise-canceling headphones.

Without having the ear of a great music lover, I quickly was seduced by the quality of the new headphones from Bose. There is no photo with the AirPods, for example. Resistant to perspiration, the Bose QC30 headphones can also be used during your sports sessions . But if you expected to shoot the REAL successor of the QC20 in wireless, the disappointment will be great. The QC30 are rather a more powerful version of the SoundSport wireless that has been tested and which brings the reduction of noise and a better autonomy
But I also found some flaws in Bose headphones. It all starts with the Bose application that makes it easy to pair your device. But apart from that, do not expect much from this app. It does not propose an equalizer for example and it is frankly a pity. Another blackhead is the absence of a jack that prevents the use of the helmet in an airplane seat. But overall, the Bose QC30 earphones are very appreciable.
