While waiting to have the first results, we propose to you to return on the best performances of actors and actresses of this season . Yeah, a series would be nothing without its casting and we sometimes have the opportunity to see scenes as intense as impressive that unveil the full potential of the actors and actresses who play them.
Andrew Lincoln – Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead
The talent of Andrew Lincoln was already known, but it is a whole new facet of Rick Grimes that he unveiled in the first episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead . Hard not to be impressed by this performance that showed us a completely broken Rick faced with the cruelty of Negan . Without necessarily speaking, Andrew Lincoln transmitted through his eyes the total destruction of his character and for that it deserves to be on our list.
Kate Walsh – Olivia Baker in 13 Reasons Why
The Netflix series produced by Selena Gomez would not have been what it is without a talented cast that is not only composed of teenagers in distress. Kate Walsh, who plays the mother of Hannah Baker, has slipped into the skin of a desperate mother in the face of her daughter’s suicide . Touching, strong and moving at the same time, the actress that many have known in Gray’s Anatomy and Private Practice has once again shown her talent.
Danielle Brooks – Tasha “Taystee” Jefferson in Orange is the New Black
In a season 5 very politically engaged, Danielle Brooks shone in all the episodes under the guise of Taystee. Immediately after the death of his best friend Poussey Washington, Taystee symbolized to perfection the powerlessness and frustration of a population too often and too unjustly targeted by law enforcement in the United States . A touching and powerful performance that paid tribute to a character we still lack.
Adelaide Kane – Mary Stuart in Reign
After four seasons of history and drama, Mary Stuart’s adventures ended recently on the CW with episode 16 of Reign’s Season 4 . So we take the opportunity to highlight the always just performance of Adelaide Kane, who has been able to bring life with strength and thanks to this historical figure on which fate has fought . Vulnerable, stubborn, strategic and intelligent, so many facets of a queen that Adelaide Kane knew how to incarnate with talent.
Brit Marling – Prairie Johnson in The OA
As mysterious as it is intrusive, The OA landed on Netflix as a UFO and seduced thousands of viewers. It must be said that once again, Brit Marling lived up to her role to plunge us directly into the atmosphere of the series under the guise of her heroine, Prairie Johnson . Attacking, sometimes a bit frightening but always talented, that’s what we look forward to seeing season 2 …
Travis Fimmel – Ragnar Lothbrok in Vikings
Another actor who has made his bow and we will miss much on the small screen in the guise of the valiant Ragnar: Travis Fimmel. In Vikings, the actor has done justice to this legendary historical figure that marked Scandinavian history . Brave, strong and charming at the same time, Travis Fimmel has seduced the public with his eyes of ice and his charisma and we already know that he will cruelly miss the series in the sequel.
That concludes our little tour of some of the best performances of the season. Although their series are not competing in the 2017 World Cup, Chyler Leigh in Supergirl, Nicole Kidman in Big Little Lies and Elizabeth Moss in The Handmaid’s Tale are still mentioned. And what performances did you score this season?
The post The Walking Dead, 13 Reasons Why, Orange is the New Black: Actors who gave it all this season first appeared on The Siver Times.

However, the character of Ragnar was seen to our surprise, at the scene of the filming of the next season of Vikings whose release date is not known yet. What is certain is that the little band of Ragnar will soon be back on our screens because the season 5 of Vikings is in the box ! Michael Hirst, the show’s showrunner, said Ragnar would make a small appearance in the next season, yet everyone remembers his death among the snakes … So why would Ragnar be back in season 5?
It would seem that Rollo is nostalgic for the time spent with his brother. The actor posted this photo on his instagram this week: “Stone, leaf, scissors”!
The death of Ragnar has devastated us all, we could not imagine a sequel without him. But despite his death, his name still ranges throughout Scandinavia and England! After seeing Ragnar on the set, we all believed that it was possible that the character was actually not dead and that he had simulated his death (it would not have been the first time) … But no, we have confirmation that Ragnar is dead! The Vikings showrunner told us that Ragnar would still be part of season 5: The scene where Ragnar succumbs to snake bites had to be filmed again and will be staged again! Michael Hirst explained that the death of Ragnar was going to be revisited and Lagertha will surely witness it via a mystical vision or a dream.
The post Vikings season 5: SPOILER on the set? first appeared on The Siver Times.

While we are waiting to know when Vikings season 5 will be launched , on the American cable channel History , many questions assail us and one of it is definitely: who will kill Lagertha? Indeed, the seer’s prediction has fallen: one of Ragnar’s sons will kill the queen of Kattegat. With the death of Sigurd, the candidates are less numerous, but the identity of the murderer promises to be surprising!
THAT IS TOO EVIDENT
A priori, it would be very easy to say that Ivar will kill Lagertha. He never hid his desire to kill the woman who cowardly killed her mother, he even said to her: “One day I will kill you, Lagertha, your destiny is fixed!” And we can be sure that he is waiting for the right moment to take action . However, we think that someone will grill him politeness, so to create surprise. It is true that it would be much too obvious that Ivar kills Lagertha and the viewer could be frustrated. In fact, other candidates seem much more serious.
THAT IS NOT SUSPECTED
Hvitserk is certainly the son of Ragnar who has the least risk of killing Lagertha. We were able to see him admit to his brother Sigurd that killing Lagertha would also mean killing Bjorn and that he does not feel any desire for it. There is little doubt that he has become closer to his half-brother during their stay in the Mediterranean Sea and that he will never do anything to hurt him. Moreover, he has never been close to Aslaug and has no difficulty in overcoming his death.
THE ONE WHO WOULD OVERLOOK
We saw that Ubbe tried with his brothers Ivar and Sigurd to overthrow Lagertha and avenge the death of their mother, but especially to regain power over Kattegat. Since then, the viking seems to have subsided and due to the images of the video promo of season 5, it seems that he knows a connection with Lagertha. So, how to reach it more easily? It’s possible ! We would be very surprised to see Ubbe put an end to the life of the Queen of Kattegat, but such an event would promise to put this character back in front of the scene , he who is too effaced against Ivar and Bjorn!
THAT WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE
Can a son kill his mother? Perhaps the Vikings suite could answer that question. Indeed, it seems almost impossible to see Bjorn kill Lagertha. Yet, several reasons could push him to commit such an act! First of all, we have seen that Astrid lives a carnal relationship with his companion’s son. The relationship between the two women could deteriorate and Bjorn could act to protect the woman he seems in love with. So, even if the objective seems to be the Mediterranean Sea, it is quite possible that Bjorn wants to take over the city that was once his father’s, and to do so, he should kill his mother. Such an event would be totally surprising and certainly would have serious consequences that would captivate us.
WHAT WE CAN NOT THINK
Bjorn, Ubbe, Hvtitserk, Ivar and Sigurd are the only sons we know in Ragnar. However, it is quite possible that he had another son at some point in his life . The latter might be present in the series, but it would be only through the death of Lagertha that we would know his heredity. The murder of Lagertha seems closer than ever and this event should certainly surprise us. While waiting to discover who will kill Lagertha, find out which Vikings spin-offs could see the light of day! Who will kill Lagertha according to you?
The post Vikings season 5: Who will kill Lagertha? first appeared on The Siver Times.

While waiting to know when the series will return, let’s back on 5 key moments of the season 4 of Vikings!
Highlights! While we were wondering when Vikings season 5 would start , on the American cable channel History , it’s time to go back with the 5 key moments we were offered to see in the latest episode.
THE BOND IN TIME
We had not seen him coming, yet the final midseason ended in an impressive leap in time. This one is of capital importance in the second half of season 4 of Vikings since the cards are redistributed. Ragnar lost his prestige, Bjorn rose as the true leader of Kattegat, governed by an Aslaug carried on the drink. He also allowed us to get acquainted with the four sons of Ragnar so each one presents a facet of the personality of their father. This leap in time has changed the course of the series’s history and we just regret not having had an episode focusing on Ragnar’s experience during the past lapse of time .
LAGERTHA TAKES POWER ON KATTEGAT
Although we may wonder why she waited so long to take action, Lagertha finally takes power over Kattegat, killing Aslaug in passing. Her revenge is accomplished and she finally has what she believes to be her own. This takeover had consequences on our perception of Lagertha, but also on the Viking city since it has great ambitions for Kattegat. It puts in place the construction of defensive fortifications and these new stakes evidently bring about new confrontations. During this half-season, Kattegat has gone from being a simple village to a central character and we expect major events to take place there.
THE FIRST APPARITION OF HEAHMUND
The first scene where we discover the character played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, on which we told you more and which will be at the heart of season 5 of Vikings , is not transcendent and does not teach us much, if it Is that this religious has an impressive sword and that he does not respect his vow of chastity. However, we know that Heahmund will deliver impressive fights against our warriors and that he will be their main enemy in the next episodes . We strongly urge him to take action.
THE DEPARTURE OF FLOKI
This event only takes place in the final season, but it is important for the future. Indeed, it is a journey of a new kind that will be offered to the character, an initiatory journey where he will be carried by the waters to an unknown destination. Thanks to Floki, we should meet new peoples, new cultures and new religions . Before finding our warriors, Floki must find peace and this path promises great moments.
THE DEATH OF RAGNAR
There have been many deaths throughout the season and all are important, nevertheless that of Ragnar is major since it marks the end of an era. We knew it would happen sooner or later, but we did not expect it at that time, not half the second half of the season. Although incredibly well directed and almost poetic, the death of Ragnar was a difficult time . His body was not found by his sons, the actor assures him that he will not return, but we always hope to see his spirit, beyond his voice that often resonated after his death. Ragnar is dead, but he remains the hero of Vikings through his most beautiful legacy: his sons! What are your 5 key moments?
The post Vikings season 4: Back on 5 key moments! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Next week, History broadcast episode 20 of season 4 of Vikings, who will also be the season finale, for which we propose to discover the promo video . This final chapter will surely offer many deaths! So who will join Ragnar?
ECBERT
It is not too much doubt that the King of Wessex will not survive the attack of the Vikings, and we find it hard to believe that the sons of Ragnar will not accomplish his last wishes. It remains to be seen how he will be put to death. This death should cause many upheavals in Wessex and offer new challenges to the series . Note that Aethelwulf should not survive his father.
BJORN
As we can see, the agreement between Bjorn and Ivar is not a good thing. Once Ecbert is dead, we can expect the youngest son of Ragnar to assassinate his elder brother. Beyond offering a moment that is sure to be intense, this death could have good effects for the plot of Lagertha . Indeed, the latter would no longer benefit from the protection of Bjorn and should thus be forced to flee Kattegat. Ivar could track her and it is a new warrior game that we would be offered and it should not displease us!
HELGE
Something tells us that Floki’s wife will not survive the final season. We do not think it will succumb in a terrible confrontation, but that it will be killed by the daughter she adopted . We could see that she was not comfortable with it and what better way to get rid of the grip of someone who is feared than to kill it. Such an event would certainly have consequences on Floki, which could push him to leave in a new quest in the Mediterranean Sea.
SIGURD or HVITSERK
Among the children Ragnar had with Aslaug, we have every reason to think that Sigurd or Hvitserk will not survive this final season. While we imagine seeing Hvitserk succumbing during the battle in Wessex, we have good reason to believe that Ivar (still him) could kill Sigurd. The disagreement between these two is no longer to prove and a new dispute could end badly.
AND THE OTHERS
Even if we doubt it, the final season could offer us to see the death of Rollo. The character has only anecdotal presence and his death would offer him a true conclusion . If we ever return to Kattegat, we could witness the death of Astrid. This new victim in the entourage of the queen of Kattegat would isolate her a little more, which would be particularly interesting to see. Note that Torvi that we thought dead might not be as Michael Hirst teased. For those who would discover the true death of the season finale, remember that episode 20 of season 4 Vikings leaked and we dévoilions you all the details! Who will die according to you?
The post Vikings season 4: Who is going to die in the final season? first appeared on The Siver Times.

This article will cover the continuation of the season 4 of Vikings but also the season 5 to come taking into account the events of the last episodes so do not read the rest if you are not up to date. So if you are still there, you are not without knowing that the great, what I say the immense Ragnar Lothbrok bid farewell to the series at the end of episode 15 of the current season. Besides naturally one wonders if season 4 Vikings can survive his death , he was so important. On this point, the solution necessarily pass through the birth of a character that has the potential to be as charismatic as Ragnar . And to do this, it is indeed on his sons’ side that we must turn. There are five of them, but only two of them are really in the show of History. We’re talking about Bjorn Ironside and Ivar Le Decosse.
Bjorn, we know him well. Present since the beginning of the series (he was a child during season 1), he is the son of Ragnar and Lagertha, as much as blood warrior flows in his veins. It gained considerable importance during Season 4 after the 10-year ellipse, becoming a highly respected Viking in Kattegat and by his half-brothers. His expedition to the Mediterranean Sea made him the Viking who traveled furthest from his lands. Some see him as a worthy heir to Ragnar, but being much asked his father while remaining a tactician . And based on the historical facts of Bjorn Ironside, which the series tries to respect, one can clearly imagine seeing it become even more important in the rest of the series.
As far as Ivar is concerned, we are dealing with a very different personality from his elder. He is still young, but he is already enormously detached from his brothers by his impulsive temperament and his murderous instinct. But his stay with his father in England showed us that he was of great intelligence. Ragnar himself has also identified the great potential of his son, despite his disability . After his death, Ivar continued to assert and is expected to surprise us with the views of the promotional photos of episode 17 of season 4 Vikings . We are very attached to Ivar, and it is not for nothing that the writers put it forward. Historically, Ivar the Boneless, like Bjorn, is doomed to accomplish great things for the Viking people. Difficult therefore to say which of Bjorn or Ivar will succeed Ragnar so much the two men seem to have taken a part of his character. For now, and even in season 5, we imagine the two men as the new heroes of the series, each in a very different register. According to you, who deserves to succeed Ragnar?
The post Vikings season 4: Bjorn or Ivar, who will be the worthy successor of SPOILER? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Do not expect a quiet end of season 4 for Vikings … But then, not at all! The show may have lost its hero (RIP Ragnar), but it still has a lot in the belly! Tomorrow night ‘s episode 17 of season 4 Vikings will air on History and will take us into the heart of the vengeance of the son of Ragnar . And when vikings decide to take revenge, it can do very – very badly. One would not like to be in the place of King Aelle … or even Lagertha! If the new queen of Kattegat has refused to fight Ivar, he has not said his last word and will not let go of the affair anytime soon. Especially that Bjorn will not be there to protect her. If one doubts his death, exile seems inevitable. In “The Great Army” , Lagertha will be in more danger than ever … but it is not the only one! Discover now an explosive new promo video for upcoming episodes of Vikings . We had warned you, this end of season will be crazy.
To honor the memory of their late father, Ivar, Bjorn, Ubbe, Sigurd and Hvisterk will prepare for battle. And as we can see in these new images, they are not going to do things by halves. To put the odds on their side, they will form an extremely powerful army , twice as powerful as that of Ragnar. Since Kattegat, the Viking forces will develop a tactic to attack the Anglo-Saxon lands. Do Aelle and Ecbert have a chance? Frankly, we would not bet on them! But if the Vikings appear from winners, it is not certain they will release all alive this war … Who will be in season 5? If you rely on shooting photos on social networks, there are many absentees! Definitely, after Aslaug and Ragnar, the end of season 4 is the bloodiest …

But before going to kick the buttocks of the kingdoms of Wessex and Northumbria, our heroes will also face many internal troubles. Because yes, in episode 17 of season 4 of Vikings Rollo will be back ! A clear return under high tension. Between Lagertha whom the sons of Ragnar want to kill, the brothers Harald and Halfdan who begin to want to rebel and Floki who does nothing but his head, it begins to make many problems to settle inside the team Vikings. And if the danger did not come from their common enemies, but from their internal tensions? Answer tomorrow night on History !
The post Vikings season 4: Episode 17, what will happen? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Following episode 15 of season 4 of Vikings, the creator of the series and SPOILER return to the terrible death that we witnessed!

He is not anymore ! As we told you in our review of episode 15 of season 4 Vikings Ragnar died, embracing destiny that historical accounts attribute to it. Following this, Travis Fimmel, who plays the king Vikings says: “Ragnar was so ready to die and was happy to die there, he feels that his plan worked and that his children will come for revenge and. revenge of Egbert ” . Michael Hirst, creator, adds: “The relationship between Ragnar and Egbert is suddenly so intense that we decided they had to leave when we arrived in Ragnar’s death was even more intense because so many things. I had been living with Ragnar for years and the most wonderful thing was that we filmed it in the deepest winter when the trees were leafless and everything was dark. The episode was almost entirely black and white, it was dark, it was brutal, it was truthful, it was extraordinary and it was powerful, it was very difficult to film because of the weather, but ‘was also difficult because we lost someone who was at the heart of the show ” .
Michael Hirst also returned on the development of this last episode for Ragnar. He explains: “The episodes 414 and 415 are part of the same episode Fourteen this is heavy stuff between Ragnar and Egbert and the cage …. It was so exciting and different from anything we’ve ever done before C.. It is very personal and universal. The series ceases to be on the Vikings and the Saxons and begins to be about man and human beings, about their deepest fears and thoughts. That was very difficult to write. had very strong ideas about his own death and how it should be treated, and of course it was very, very moving for me ” . Travis Fimmel also delivered his amusing impression of the Turning with snakes: “It was not really hard to work with them there were about 60, and then there were fake around my legs.. I did not care at all, I was covered in snake poop at the end, I was bitten a few times, but it was very good – it was their dung on me that bothered me more than all”.
The two men also shared the conversations they had on the passing of Ragnar. Michael Hirst said: “Up to a point, Travis played the Australian map, that is to say, he did not say anything about the things He just wanted to make the death of Ragnar and bow.. But the closer we got to the moment of filming his death, the more obsessive, interested and passionate he became about it. Suddenly it became an intense and emotional experience to sit down with him to discuss his death as You can imagine: what he meant, what he did not mean, there were things I needed, but he was not sure he did not want his character to Speech, so his last speech was something we had to negotiate and debate, and he talked with Linus Roache (Ecbert) because he wanted to say some things, but Travis wanted to cut them off or whatever, we three often locked ourselves In a room, discussing really the end of a character whose death touched us at all levels. It was an amazing period ” Travis Fimmel adds. ” Michael has always been very collaborative, and I tried to get scenes with Linus Roache for years. We always collaborate on everything, it is very good at it. It’s incredible as an actor to have a creator like him. He is so ready to take your ideas and work with you “.
One question that many fans are asking is whether Ragnar died as an atheist, or whether he changed in his last moments. The actor replied … “Ragnar did not think he would go to heaven or Valhalla He would rot underground He did what he wanted to do in his life, but it was his only life After that he was happy, ready to die and he left a legacy. Whether good or bad, people will remember him ” . The creator says more: “When Ragnar and Egbert discuss their faiths and some level of how all faith is ridiculous, it’s very liberating for them and for the public It suddenly becomes a very modern Conversation These are.. Not medieval talks about Christianity and paganism, it could be modern people talking about whether you should believe in God or not.In the series, Ragnar became less and less convinced by his pagan religion, partly because of The influence of Athelstan and the fact that he embraced certain aspects of Christianity, Ragnar was an incredibly intelligent guy, he understands things, he was curious and always directed him. Religion, and other ways of thinking, so that he challenged his own belief. In the end, when he died, he no longer believed the same way as when he was younger. Thus, his last speech in the cage, before his death, is not a statement of his own belief, it is a political statement to encourage his sons to avenge his death. It sets the path of revenge and the future of the Vikings ” .
They also explained the interest of offering this death in the middle of this second part of the season. Travis Fimmel said: “Michael has always been great about it It’s not so predictable, with the leap in time, with characters who die That was just for the series episodes are following my death… fantastic. They work well for the show and the young actors to keep the public ” . Michael Hirst adds: “This is the saga of Ragnar and his son I did not suggest to the public that the death of Ragnar meant a huge breaking point in this saga It’s just part of the story… Ragnar’s sons will continue the saga, not the end of Ragnar Lothbrok, who will live in his fame and live because he was the most famous Viking of the time. I have never wanted this story to end when Ragnar dies physically. We turned about 25 more hours after Ragnar’s death, and we are far away in history. We really embrace the sons but Ragnar is not gone, because Ragnar is always inspiration ” . It remains to be seen whether Ragnar could reappear. Travis Rimmel, the answer is firm: “Yeah, no, I would not stay It makes no sense My character is an atheist, so I will not come under any form of ghost, the!.. religious ghostly images or anything. I think you must be very religious so that people have this belief in you ” . For his part, Michael Hirst is not so sure: “But because it is so powerful in people’s lives, it might reappear in dreams, in visions … I do not think one of my main characters … I started with Floki, Ragnar, Rollo Lagertha and … None of them will disappear completely from the saga ” . Already, discover what awaits you in episode 16 of season 4 of Vikings, with the first promo video! Fortunately, we will find them nice and dry on Wednesday evening for a new chapter more exciting … After the huge storm that hit his fleet, Ragnar and what remains of his crew (ie not much ) fail on the land of Wessex. Unfortunately for the Viking King, it will not be in a strong position and will have to take with her son Ivar, a difficult decision. Yeah, it smells pretty bad for our hero. Especially his enemies, Aethelwulf and King Egbert, he will have no gift . The tragic story of Ragnar we know will she place earlier than expected in the fourth season? Patience … In any case, the two warriors seem to have decided to surrender to the enemy. Their plan he will work?
We looked forward and he will not disappoint us, good old Rollo will make his comeback in this episode 13 of season 4 of Vikings . And if he had finally joined the Franks and his dear wife, Princess Gisla in past episodes, Mr Muscles will be difficult not to return to his roots in “Two Journeys” . It is finding his nephew Bjorn and his old friend Floki that Rollo will want to follow them in their quest to the south … Will he leave the realm of unhindered Franks? Bjorn will he forgive him his past betrayal? The atmosphere looks horrible …
Lagertha meanwhile, will finally launch his revenge ! The warrior had warned, she is determined to recover Kattegat hands of Aslaug. But above all, it has to make him pay all his past actions. The two women Ragnar will therefore fight in episode 13 of season 4 of Vikings and it risks sending severe! If Lagertha seems to have the advantage on Aslaug, the outcome of this struggle still remains uncertain. To find out, it will take a few days … Meanwhile, do not miss the last confessions of Alex Hogh (Ivar) on the future of his character in season 4 Vikings !
The post Vikings Season 4: Episode 13, what will happen? first appeared on The Siver Times.
