So, between Fear The Walking Dead, Orange Is the New Black and many others, who will be number 1 ?!
Although it is June and most of the series are in summer hiatus since May, the month has been well rhythmic since several series have bowed, while others have begun . Like what, even the summer period is now rich in series and especially in series of quality. For example, we had to say goodbye to Reign, Pretty Little Liars or The Leftovers , while Orphan Black pointed his nose to begin his final season . We invite you of course to share with us which series have marked your month of June and without waiting you are offered our ranking:
9 – Pretty Little Liars
It’s hard not to make a small place in Pretty Little Liars in our June Top Series as the series offered us its latest episode three days ago. When one was disappointed or conquered by the last revelations and the end offered to the characters, one can not deny that this marks the end of an era and that this series will certainly leave a mark in the television world – Is to make fun of it. -A is officially retired and know that you can find our critic of episode 20 of season 7 of Pretty Little Liars , on melty.
8 – The Originals
After a season a little below what we are used to see for The Originals , we must admit to have enjoyed enough the season finale of season 4 who preferred to play the card of emotion rather than that of The action . For once, the plot refocused on the characters and what they are willing to do to save those they love. We hope that season 5 will resume on this path and will offer us an enemy more interesting than the Hollow which remained something far too abstract. Anyway, we found the end interesting for the sequel and we look forward to seeing how the Mikaelson will handle this new event.
7 – Reign
After four seasons of royal intrigues, conspiracies and betrayals, it was necessary to say goodbye to Reign since the series unfortunately was not renewed for a season 5 by the CW. If we can reproach this final season for having a little too much accelerated the intrigues to tell a maximum of the life of Mary Stuart, it is still with emotions that we watched the last episode. Reign is a real guilty pleasure that brought us our dose of madness every week with all the same strong and powerful female characters . One thing is for sure, the Laurie McCarthy series will be missed and the Adelaide Kane game too!
6 – Orphan Black
For his final season, Orphan Black offers us episodes that are always more captivating and full of mysteries. Sarah Manning and her clones are always looking for answers on their origins at the risk of sometimes having to sacrifice themselves . Despite a certain sadness at the approach of the very end of the series, it is confessed to you that it would have been difficult to imagine Orphan Black continue for several more seasons. In any case it deserves its place in our Top Series!
5 – GLOW
This month, Netflix has launched a new series called GLOW, including Alison Brie (Community) and Betty Gilpin (Masters of Sex) , who is interested in women’s wrestling. An original and unusual subject in the world of TV series that is treated with humor and emotions . If the season is a bit short – only 10 episodes of about thirty minutes – to allow the characters to be explored in depth, GLOW has enjoyed us with its little kitsch side of the 80s and its diverse and varied female characters.
4 – Fear The Walking Dead
Fear The Walking Dead deserves its place in our Top Series of the month with a season 3 that starts off very well. The season premiere double proved that the series could take risks by killing Travis Manawa and she went on to propose a whole episode in Spanish focused on Daniel Salazar . Risky take-overs that reboost the series well, not to mention the new characters that, so far, continue to arouse our interest. In short, sympathetic episodes that make us look forward to seeing the continuation.
3 – The Leftovers
The surrealist series by Damon Lindelof, The Leftovers , offered us a last season full of poetry and questioning. The Leftovers always succeed in transporting us thanks to surprising intrigues and incredible performances from the actors. Where the end of Lost still unleashes passions and still rages a large majority of the fans of the series, The Leftovers has agreed everyone proposing a beautiful end, full of hope and somehow Of the response elements without actually proposing them. The Leftovers has always been able to present complicated intrigues to us with simplicity and its final is exactly to this image . A real masterpiece.
2 – The Handmaid’s Tale
As already mentioned , The Handmaid’s Tale is for us the best novelty of the year 2017, for the moment and it ended in apotheosis with moments always more disturbing and glacier . But also by the beginning of the rebellion of the Handmaids and mainly of Offred, although we do not yet know what all this will lead and if the heroine has just signed his death warrant. Fortunately, the series has already been renewed for a season 2 by Hulu and although we will surely wait a year before we know the rest, we will not remain on this open end.
1 – Orange Is the New Black
This year, Orange Is the New Black took on a real challenge, concentrating the plot of its thirteen episodes on just three days, and she raised it up! Always as fun and crazy while offering serious intrigues that sometimes denounce certain injustices or problems of society, the season of Orange Is the New Black totally captivated us. The Litchfield Inmate Rebellion will come with its consequences in the coming season, but it will have allowed us to learn more about some of the characters and pay tribute to Poussey Washington. Now, we are waiting for season 6 of Orange Is the New Black with great impatience …

The Flash, Lucifer, Quantico: They left us

Unfortunately, in every competition, there are losers and winners. We decided to come back to the series that left us during this first week of Series World Cup!
This 2017 World Cup is absolutely intense! For this second week of competition, we find eight very tight duels. Each match pits two sets you selected, such as Pretty Little Liars faces Gray’s Anatomy . If at the start they were 32, they are now only 16, not forgetting the 4 series belonging to the special pool of the summer series. So there are 16 shows that have left us and do not pursue this adventure, even if they deserve their place. Obviously, as in every competition, you have to make choices and you have made them. This is not to say that we forget the losers and that is why we decided to pay them a small tribute!
The surprises :
They were 32, they are only 16, that’s the price to pay in a competition. Some of the series were eliminated when they were not expected at all. This is the case with The Flash. The friend of the Green Arrow did not manage to win against The Vampire Diaries and Stranger Things . The elimination of Lucifer and Quantico also surprised us, just like Reign , but they may be better next year!
Too popular opponents:
Other series have found themselves in chickens with opponents too strong for them and that is why they did not make the weight. Of course, we talk about Agents of SHIELD and Luke Cage who were in the same category as Teen Wolf and Pretty Little Liars . This was also the case with Prison Break and Orange is the New Black, who faced Arrow and Gray’s Anatomy, who was the group’s favorite . Yes, if they had fallen in front of other opponents, they might have qualified, but that’s all the unexpected of this competition!
We were expecting …
If these 32 series were competing at the 2017 World Cup, it was because they deserved it, but some failures are not great surprises … Shadowhunters was less likely to qualify than his opponents, Just like Supernatural or The OA . Even if they are quality shows, their audiences and their last seasons have not attracted enough interest from their fans. In any case, they will have fought honorably until the end! One thing is for sure, the 13 episodes of the series produced by Selena Gomez have been talked about. Season 1 of 13 Reasons Why ended in March and fans of the series are already impatient to know when the sequel will take place. Fortunately Selena Gomez does not know how to hold her tongue and has delivered us unpublished information on Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why that should return early 2018 on Netflix! 13 Reasons Why created controversy among young people but also the young. You want to know what series you should not miss during the last month? Discover without delay our Top Series of May 2017!
The month of May is always loaded in terms of series, with all the final seasons going on and some summer series starting. Not to mention the Netflix series that land every month and come to shake everything up. This month of May was another emotional month, between tension episodes, the tragic deaths, the couples who make and break and of course the fact of having to say goodbye to certain shows the time of the Summer – or even forever . As at the end of each month, the editor of melty offers you to discover the 10 series that have marked the last 31 days . And since we can not see everything and we all have different opinions, we invite you to share your Top Series of May in the comments.
9 – Scandal
It was known before the release of the double episode of season finale, the season 7 of Scandal will be the last , making the end of season 6 even more important since it sets up as pawns for the latest chapter Series. If we found the first part of the final season a little slow and a bit too quiet, everything was played in episode 16 and all the cards are now redistributed in order to offer us a totally different last season. Olivia Pope has embraced a little more her side “dark” , no longer hesitating to eliminate people who get in the way of his goal. Despite some mistakes, we were pleasantly surprised by this end of season.
8 – The Flash
The Flash concluded its third season last week with a rather touching yet predictable episode. After a season that had some problems with the plot, The Flash is doing pretty well with this final season which already puts in place the bases of season 4. The CW series is one of those underestimated series – to go hand in hand with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend – especially because of the channel on which it is broadcast. And yet, it’s still a beautiful season that Jane The Virgin offers us with an end to the top. The series always mixes humor and emotion, and it was once again a real emotional roller coaster that follows the adventures of Jane and all the other characters in the series. Despite its very low audiences, the series was renewed by the CW for a season 4 and we are already looking forward to discovering all this because Jane is missing us already!
6 – Supergirl
The second seasons are often a bad time to play for the playoffs, but we can say that Supergirl is doing pretty well, especially with its final season as exciting as it is moving. Admittedly, the season has seen ups and downs, especially in the middle of the season, but it has caught up well on the end, putting her heroine back at the center of the action. With the final season, the different female characters were highlighted and the return of Cat Grant was only the icing on the cake . What a pity that his character does not come back for season 3 … The series has been bold on the end and we really hope that season 3 will be to this image.
5 – Gray’s Anatomy
We all agree more or less to say, this thirteenth season of Gray’s Anatomy is far from perfect and some intrigues have really left something to be desired. However, we can not deny that the last two episodes of season 13 have largely raised the level giving us really want to discover the season 14 . Not only was the final season disaster, which was enormously teased by the production, offered us cold sweats – or hot rather – with this fire, but it allowed to give a very beautiful end to Stephanie Edwards. 4 – Agents of SHIELD
Agents of SHIELD closed its fourth season as brilliantly as it did, with Ghost Rider returning to close the loop. 3 – Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt / Master of None
We plead guilty! We were not able to decide between the two Netflix comedies, both of which were released this month on the SVOD platform. Both are hilarious, but they are very different but we love them as much. It is always a pleasure to recapture the sarcastic and ultra-referenced humor of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and his colorful characters. Season 3 plays the card of feminism, while still offering wacky and offbeat plots. As for Master of None , we must say that magic always operates with this second season which is just as good and funny as the first. These two comedies are very original, each in their own way, and if you have not yet watched them, go for it!
2 – The Handmaid’s Tale
Last month we discovered Hulu’s brilliant but glittering The Handmaid’s Tale and since then we have to admit that our fascination with this series has not diminished. We know that it will make us suffer, yet every week we are eager to discover the new episode before which we will be hypnotized. His subject is always as strong and multiplying the points of view and the flashbacks on the different characters allow to enlarge the history and to understand a little better all the protagonists. The Handmaid’s Tale is undoubtedly one of the best new releases of 2017 and we are looking forward to seeing how the season will end.
1 – Sense8
After many months of waiting, Sense8 offered us a second season at the height that gives us already looking forward to seeing the continuation . Closer than ever, the sensates continue their struggle against the terrifying Whispers and the BPO organization by discovering more and more information about their past and their powers. The universe of the series has expanded to our delight and there are still many touching and intense scenes that we have been able to discover . We regret a bit the rapidity with which the plot resolves in the final season but what we regret above all is to have to wait for months before we can find Nomi, Capheus, Lito and the others. We cross the fingers and toes so that the series is renewed and, in the meantime, know that you can find our verdict on season 2 of Sense8 , on melty! What is your Top Series of May 2017?

We take stock of the series that oscillate between renewal and cancellation and whose current season may very well be the last.

The channel has already renewed 16 of its series and 2 Broke Girls was not part of it, is this a sign? The question also arises for the following series. If the arrival of Rob Lowe in season 2 of Code Black gave a new breath to the series, it was not enough to raise the hearings. As for Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders , in addition to having disappointing hearings for the channel, it also inherited the title of worst series in 2016, by Metacritic. The spin-offs of Criminal Minds are definitely struggling to find their audience.

13 Reasons Why: The questions you would like an answer if there is a season 2

The more days pass and the more we say that the announcement of a second season to 13 Reasons Why by Netflix is imminent. As you know, there are many indications that 13 Reasons Why will have a season 2 , which is not surprising after such a success. And we were not disappointed as it was rich in revelations since it was an infallible support in Rip’s mind. Seeing them exchanging a kiss made us seem totally natural as these two have been a team for a long time.
Together, they manage to save Rip and bring him back to the surface. And the reunion with the rest of the Team was extraordinary. At the same time, Ray, Nate and Amaya were trying to find an essential piece for the ship in the dinosaur era. A mission that quickly becomes complicated since when Ray lived there, he upset Gertrude, the dinosaur, stealing his egg. But while Ray gives everything to find the piece of the much sought-after ship, Nate and Amaya approach dangerously. Supergirl Season 2: Episode 12, Can Kara Trust Lena Luthor? Our criticism

Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast episode 12 of season 2 of Supergirl. Then discover without further delay our review of “Luthors”, as well as the video promo of the next episode.

Anyway, we really liked this episode that puts Lena Luthor and her relationship with Kara back on the stage. Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast episode 10 of season 2 of Supergirl. Then discover our review of “We Can Be Heroes”.
After several episodes of bitching about the Guardian, Kara finally discovered the identity of it in episode 10 of season 2 of Supergirl , which aired last night on the CW, and the least we can say c Is that it does not please our super-heroine at all. “We Can Be Heroes” begins as Kara is currently lead Mon-El, who is determined to become a superhero. While Episode 5 of Season 2 of Shadowhunters was broadcast last night on Freeform, back on the main events that have marked “Dust and Shadows”!
A terribly sad episode! And yes the meltynauts, last night, the series inspired by the novels of Cassandra Clare played clearly with our emotions offering us a fifth dark and desperate shutter. Katherine McNamara gave us a striking performance of realism and terribly poignant at the very moment when her character was going through the worst ordeal of her existence. While the editorial ‘of melty proposing you to discover our review of episode 4 of season 2 of Shadowhunters , back in detail on key events in “Dust and Shadows” aired last night on Freeform . And the least we can say is that our heroine does not want to accept the harsh reality. Faced with a mourning that she is not ready to begin, the young woman has only one idea in mind: that of bringing her mother back to life. Alec is the first to ask questions but in a vain hope to catch up with the situation, he agrees to stay in the waiting room while Clary finds herself alone with Iris. After signing an oath with her blood, the witch begins her ritual but is interrupted by our heroine who suddenly understands the risks that this implies. Jocelyn could come back in a diabolical form. But Iris is far from wanting to put an end to their agreement and then confesses her true plan: she forces shadow hunters to conceive a baby with demons in order to keep the Warlock race decimated by Valentin. A terrible choice but unfortunately leaves Clary defenseless. Fortunately, Alec, Jace and Isabelle eventually save her. The young woman must then bid farewell to her mother in a moving and heart-rending ceremony. Losing someone is always a tragedy, but losing your mother is a tragedy you never recover from. Meanwhile, Simon decided to go home and even confess to his mother that he is a vampire.
Obviously, difficult for her to admit that her son now feeds on blood. Will she run away or support Simon whatever it costs? Answer next week! Blending wisely bouncing and emotion, the series clears the way to darkness and we look forward to discovering the sequel. The return of the series continues with ever return including the famous TGIT of Shonda Rhimes with the season 13 Grey’s Anatomy , Season 6 and Scandal Season 3 of How to Get Away with Murder. As every week, it’s time to find out if your favorite shows were viewed much . Sunday is the FOX series Son of Zorn who dominated the evening with 2 million viewers and a 0.9% rate. She was closely followed by The Librarians of TNT with 1.97 million fans (0.5%). Monday is on CBS that everything was as Kevin Can Wait (8.62 million and 1.7%), Two Broke Girls (7.06 million and 1.7%), Man with a Plan (7.69 million and 1.6%) and Scorpion (7.77 million and 1.3%) clearly captivated viewers. On FOX Lucifer is slightly increased (4.17 million and 1.2%) while Gotham remains stable (3.60 million and 1.2%). ABC Quantico back up slightly with 2.90 million viewers and 0.8% while on the CW Supergirl suffered a small decline (2.65 million and 0.8%) as Jane the Virgin (990 000 0 , 4%). Finally on Freeform Shadowhunters is also down with 640,000 viewers against 810,000 last week and a rate of 0.3%.
Tuesday is still dominating the NBC evening thanks to the excellent This Is Us that gathered 9.63 million viewers, 2.8% of the target followed by Chicago Fire (7.38 million, 1.8%) . CBS has yet attracted 16.21 million people in front of NCIS but with a lower rate of 1.9%. On the same chain, Bull and NCIS: New Orleans gathered 11.17 million fans, respectively (1.3%) and 9.18 million (1.1%). On FOX The Mick decline slightly (2.76 million and 1%) as The New Girl (2.35 million and 0.9%) while Bones back (3.05 million and 0.9%). On the CW superhero back down with The Flash (2.68 million and 0.9%) and Legends of Tomorrow (1.74 million, 0.6%) but ABC Agents of SHIELD remains stable (2,000,000 and 0 , 6%). Finally MTV is doing well because Teen Wolf (490,000 and 0.2%) and Sweet / Vicious (240,000 and 0.1%) are both rising.
Wednesday is Lethal Weapon on FOX, which has attracted the most viewers (6.28 million and 1.4%) while on History, Vikings remained stable (2.41 million and 0.7%). Arrow on the CW comes back with a small decline to 1.68 million viewers for a rate of 0.6% while Frequency back a little (790,000 and 0.3%). On USA, Suits slightly lower returns (1.37 million and 0.3%).
Thursday TGIT came back strongly and so is ABC that dominated the evening with Meredith, Olivia and Annalise. Grey’s Anatomy attracted 9.59 million fans and 2.6% of the target while season 6 Scandal has started on the hubcaps (7.62 million, 2%) and How to Get Away with Murder has Followed by 5.41 million people and a rate of 1.5%. On the CW Supernatural quietly continues with 1.72 million and a rate of 0.6% while Riverdale made a good start with 1,380,000 curious (0.5%). On USA Colony down a bit compared to last week (780 000 0.3%) as Nashville on CMT (930,000 and 0.2%).
Finally Friday the new episode of The Vampire Diaries on the CW drew 960,000 people and a rate of 0.3% , far behind Dr. Ken ABC (5.21 million and 1%) or Grimm NBC (4, 18 million and 0.8%). On the same channel, Emerald City suffered a small decline with 2.74 million viewers and 0.6%. What do you think ?

Fear The Walking Dead Season 3: Should the series kill more characters as in The Walking Dead?

While Season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead will not be launched before the end of the summer, a question arises: Should the series kill more characters?
In the two seasons space, three people part of the main cast were killed in Fear the Walking Dead . The first death took place in the finale of season 1 and it is Liza, the ex-wife of Travis who made his last breath. The second victim of the series is none other than Chris, the son of the latter. We are not going to hide it: Travis still has the worst life, but nevertheless the disappearance of the adolescent has had the merit to put a little spice in the end of the second season. Finally, Daniel Salazar also met the Reaper. A rather disappointing season that did not fulfill all its objectives. It must be said that the show suffers from the comparison with the mother series, broadcast on the same channel. More bloody, more gore, The Walking Dead has a cast that is renewed very recurrent since many characters find death there and sometimes in horrible conditions.
So yes, the plot of Fear the Walking Dead takes place before the events of The Walking Dead.
