It is often hot to do everything in time and time, as we would like. And it also happens in movies, remember those moments.
Well, sometimes it’s also your fault when you’re persuaded to be able to do 6 things in 17 minutes before leaving home, for example … But there are also times when you really lack time, your best. And this is panic. You begin to sweat, to be imprecise, to let go insults … A feeling that you recognize in the characters in these films and scenes. Yes, spoiler, attention.
Neo calls the base (“Matrix”)
You see him tracing in the corridors, looking for the right room, the phone, in the virtual world where he had gone on a mission. For he must call the base, and the others pick up, to make him come back before it is too late . Genus before their ship is destroyed by the lasers of others … Pip: Agent Smith is waiting for him behind the door and the gun. Hop, Neo is late, it’s over. Except that he is the chosen one and that Trinity loves him …
When will the attack take place? (“Independence Day”)
From the beginning, we know that the White House will end up farting. But we stress anyway: when? The little genius with the spectacles (obviously) finally discovers it, and will warn the president of the final attack of the aliens . Well, the fine team can not save everyone but still has the job, while taking direct revenge.
The quest for the grail (“Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”)
Emery Jones is canistering and the only way to heal him, to save him, is to get his hands on the grail. His son does his best but it is a galley. Obviously, despite the traps and all the brothel, Indy is there ! And when you think it’s good, it’s the temple that breaks its mouth and causes a new race against the clock. The guy has to sleep well after all this.
Returning home (“The crazy day of Ferrys Bueller”)
Lycée in wanker mode ++, Ferry spends his day with his minch ‘, walks and puts pressure on him to have to walk home before his parents and sister. And yes, it is not right at the end of the street, it would be too simple. The guy jumps his fences, runs, uses the trampoline of girl … and stops to dredge quickly makes two chicks tanning in their garden. With the little music that goes well in the background. A challenge that we all already knew, we will not lie.
Destruction of the system in case of emergency (“Alien”)
More or less naked, the crew decides to blow up their own ship to eliminate the aliens. No way to run, hide, or bar. So, even if you die, you can take the others with you too! To the kamikaze. Except that the girl who has to operate the emergency plan is a bit wedged by an alien and that the plan (already not top) is complicated even more for her, who wanted to quickly break after launching the operation. Finally, she manages, but in the dark, locked up, you become claustro bordel. And when you think that Ripley got away, bah finally it’s not safe …
One Chance on a Million (“Star Wars IV: A New Hope”)
There’s no twisting, it’s tense. Wrought up. The forces of the revolution must succeed in destroying the Black Star, and in front they will not let themselves go back like that! There is even Dark Vador himself who participates in the party. Finally, the only way is to explode the main reactor : an almost impossible shot. Luke sticks to it, in BG mode. Guided by the force, and Han Solo, he gets there the cunt! A phew scene, where beauty equals tension, with a beautiful finale as we love them.
The choice of Batman (“The Dark Knight”)
The bastard of Joker had planned everything. To get caught and locked up, to play with the nerves of Batman, to make him suffer by having to choose between Rachel and Harvey … The whole with two cargos full of people, ready to fart. And of course, a whore by sending her to Harvey instead of Rachel … And there, no time to save everyone. Hard. Which scene has most stressed you?
The post When you stressed not having the time, relativise with these scenes of movies first appeared on The Siver Times.

All kinds of rage will be disappointed, it’s been a while since our friends are in the place of the 7th art. Here are their best movies.
And no, these are not copies, slanders! Rather genuine creations, and quality please. Historical drama, war, love, martial arts, action: there’s a little bit of everything, you can choose the one that tempts you the most.
Live
Immersed in the era of the Chinese cultural revolution that is not so far away and of which we do not know much in fact. The director Zhang Yimou makes us discover it via the fate of a family that tries and must survive in front of the system and all its venerable machinery that rot their lives. Released in 1994, this film sums up the atmosphere there from the 40s to the 70s, with its political and historical upheavals .
——- 1 ——-
Wives and concubines
Master Chen Zuoqian lives in a crazy palace, because he has what seems to be the dough that spills over everywhere. The guy multiplies the women at his disposal, already three and then four when the young Songlian arrives. Sold by her mother, she must learn to interact with other women . And above all, to surpass them. Everything is concentrated on these relations of competition and subordination towards the master. The beauty of the plans and colors strikes even more seen the contrast with the cruelty of the story.
——- 2 ——-
The demons at my door
More recent, released in 2000, this film deals with the conflict between China and Japan and denounces the stupidity, the horrors . Obviously, making an apologia for the war, even civil, remains rather rare eh! Basically, the situation is brought to life through Dasan, a peasant who sees two sacks left by soldiers of the Chinese army arriving at his house in the middle of the night. Inside, a Japanese prisoner and his interpreter. Except that for months, the soldiers do not come to recover them, then the whole village knows and wants to stop the prisoners. It looks tense …
—— 3 ——–
Hero
Dating from 2002 and with Jet Li, if it can reassure some! It is true that it can, to have landmarks, to find a face that we know, coughed coughed what. This film tells the story of China from 2000 years ago, when it was composed of 7 kingdoms, all at war to win . The kingdom of Qin was most afraid because his King wanted to become the first Emperor and nothing else mattered. Classic, the others join to eliminate it and hires three assassins super set: broken blade, snowflake and starry sky. Mock you if you want, but they manage! King Qin sleeps a little less well and does less evil so he promises fortune to the one who will kill these three assassins. Until the day a guy lands with the weapons of the victims. His name ? ” Nameless “. Personally,
—— 4 ——-
The secret of flying daggers
Flying Daggers is the name of the group of bandits who plunder the rich to give to the poor. A kind of Chinese Robin Hood but several. In 856, the power does not bother with hesitations … There is grafted a love story a little cul-ass, you fear the film cliché … and there is a reversal that changes everything! So, the poetic and dreamlike film also becomes epic, and one never says no to a little spice . In the end, of the beautiful work, especially for a chinese.
——- 5 ——-
The Three Kingdoms
John Woo returns home and continues to do what he knows how to do: show with action scenes of pork and big money. What necessarily displeases some because from the historical point of view, there are things to be said. It’s a film about Ben Hur, a film that traces the history of China, with a lot of characters, intrigues, battles … Because you have to choose, you only see one battle, that of the Red Cliff, where oppose Two kingdoms united to a third, all under the empire of Han Xiandi who then reigned. So you’re going to test which one?
The post The Chinese know how to do everything, even super movies, but it’s not new first appeared on The Siver Times.

What ? It is clear: the hero manages his race, without having super powers and leaving Marvel or DC. Come on, the examples to explain all that.
Great powers involve great responsibilities. Small powers also, sometimes, when something falls on you and you have to get out, with your means. Which can potentially make you a super hero, when you solve everything, remaining a normal man. But not trivial. Here are the movies you have to look for.
Men in black
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones interpret two secret agents, hired by a secret agency, to control the arrival and the acts of extraterrestrials on earth. Representing and practicing the law, facing not only aliens but also well-motivated terrorists and enemies, J and K are very close to The Shield . At the same time, the film is inspired by a comic, then inevitably. But here we have two men, not superheroes.
Harry Potter
Again a possible comparison with a superhero movie, released recently. Dr. Strange, in this case. Harry, like him, is born with the ability to resort to magic and mysticism . However, Harry does not master it, must learn from mentors, grow up. Not to mention his somewhat arrogant and archi confident side in him, as Dr Strange, again. He crossed the galleys with the little magician, with his friends, in front of Voldemort and company. And he goes on, always.
Stop me if you can
Indeed, Frank Abagnale Jr is not a superhero at the base. Dude everything that is more normal physically, mat. But corones and a genius in imposture and falsification that has fooled dozens of people for years. Pilot, doctor, lawyer, counterfeiter … He ends up attracting the attention of the cops and one takes care to run it. As in Captain America: the winter soldier.
Kill Bill
A classic of Tarantino in which he pays homage to the martial arts and the Japanese cinema that he loves so much. With Uma Thurmann in the title role, a stylish soundtrack, gore scenes and a revenge story . Grosso merdo, Deadpool has some points in common with this film. Although the character of Ryan Reynolds is much more caustic and funny, more childish. One thing is for sure: if you liked the fight scenes in Deadpool, then you’ll love Kill Bill. Even without super powers, you will have understood that do not shit La Mariée / Beatrix Kiddo / Black Mamba.
Inception
Some will say that it is capillo-tracté but not at all. Precisely, Cobb resembles us in every respect, it is a simple human. Which does not prevent him from having enormous responsibilities and to be the key to the future , like Bruce Wayne. All in a heavy, stressful, rather black atmosphere, with a BO that takes you to the guts and crazy images of a city. As in the Batman trilogy also directed by Christopher Nolan.
Kingsman
In the footsteps of Eggsy, a young British delinquent, one discovers the secret world of the spies formed by the Crown. A surprising trajectory, an out-of-the-ordinary will, corrosive humor, super well-executed combat scenes, and a parody of spy films so successful that it becomes a reference to his way. No but ! Everyone does as he wishes, as we know, tastes and colors do not dispute. Tolerance, the acceptance of the other, the live-together brothel! Sorry. In short, to come to the point, the black and white films remain a sacred visual pleasure and offer us superb snapshots . Moreover, a fan of “Logan” asked on Twitter to director James Mangold to release another version … in black and white obviously. And apparently his wish will be fulfilled. Meanwhile, he (and we too) can watch these movies again.
12 angry men
Released in 1957, this film by Sidney Lumet does not lose in intensity, sixty years later. For one and a half hours, a jury composed of twelve women and men, deliberating whether or not to decide the guilt of a young man accused of parricide. And so, from his death sentence. The opportunity to see how man reflects, acts and reacts according to his education, his personality, his a priori .
——- 1 ——-
It happened close to you
The black and corrosive humor of Benoît Poelvoorde at its peak when it was just beginning. Filmed in a subjective camera, this feature follows Ben in his adventures and misdeeds , a cynical and heartless man capable of the most beautiful flights and the most horrible behaviors. Parody of the show “Strip-Tease” and fake documentary of 50 min originally, by Rémy Belvaux, it was reworked and lengthened. With success.
——- 2 ——-
Sin City
Adapted from a comedy by Frank Miller, it’s a murder that dates from 2005. Directed by the author of the comic himself in duet with Robert Rodriguez, the beauty of the images strikes continuously. You can compare the images of the book and those of the film, it’s crazy . With the trails of bright red blood that come to try the screen, the Tarantino (who participated and brought his style), the contrasts are superb. In the heart of the city of vice and sin, stories multiply and intertwine.
——- 3 ——-
The paths of glory
A dive in the First World War in the trenches in 1916. And a personal analysis (Stanley Kubrick’s) of crude enough on human nature and the devouring ambition of some men who would sacrifice lives for their own glory . A great Kirk Douglas and scenes that take your breath away. Not necessarily spectacular, which is even stronger.
——- 4 ——-
Hate
A story that sounds still today sadly. The perpetual clashes between law enforcement officers and people from working-class districts, incomprehension, rejection, slippage … Dating back to 1995, crowned with three Caesars, Vince (Vincent Cassel) was a young impulsive thirsty for vengeance After the beating of a buddy, Hubert calmed down the game and dreamed, Saïd (Taghmaoui) to mediate … For his second feature, Mathieu Kassovitz, writer, director and editor, breaks the baraque . A classic of French cinema.
——- 5 ——-
Raging Bull
Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci under the direction of Martin Scorsese, already, it reassures. Fortunately, for Jake LaMotta, we did not really know, unless we were a fan of noble art. In summary, it is a life biopic filled with (very) high and (low) of this world boxer of the middleweight boxers from 1949 to 1951 . “The bull of the Bronx” had besides fought our Marcel Cerdan to us, before going to reconversions missed and to see his personal life go in spin. Namely: it was De Niro who pushed to make this film after reading the book about the life of the guy. And that motivated Scorsese, gently but surely. Which began by filming in 8mm color, before realizing that it did not make it right and opt for black and white.
The post It is true that it is class black and white, the proof with these films first appeared on The Siver Times.

Difficult to approach a subject concerning more people, and yet it is not especially what we go to the cinema. Except for these beautiful movies.
The death of a person can be beautiful, without even having a beautiful death. The way in which the subject is treated, the story that tells it, the staging, the implications and unspoken: there are a thousand and one ways to talk about it. Similarly, it does not necessarily constitute the major part of the film in terms of image and scenes, although it may be the source of it, in the background.
First contact
Sorry, but it came out last December 7, there are prescriptions. Here, the plot obviously revolves around the arrival of extraterrestrials on the edge of our earth and the reaction that this arouses among us other humans. How to communicate, what to do, to cooperate, to attack … Against a background of diplomacy with a chin, like in real life. But how to forget the secondary plot? The story of love linking Louise Banks to Ian Donnelly , marked by the latter’s bitterness of not having been warned by his wife of the special provisions of their child’s fate … We leave the room wondering: What is the right decision? Why did she do it? Is there a choice?
There
He will have kept his promise. So child, Carl Fredricksen dreams as adventurer and shares his passion with Ellie. They plan to go to the falls of paradise in Venezuela and continue their journey together until marriage. After that is the end of the beans: they can not have children, they lack money and Ellie ends up dying, sick. Carl then lived alone, reclusive. At the beginning of the film, we see him aged, isolated in his house, asocial . Until the day Russell enters his life. Carl sees himself, finds himself in him and enjoys life again. Until realize her promise to Ellie: their house is throne on the falls of paradise.
Sixth Sense
A twist that hurts. And I’m not talking about dancing a knee. Bruce Willis interprets a psychologist, Dr. Malcolm Crowe. An intelligent but disturbed, frightened, anxious man who exchanges with a little boy named Cole. Malcolm explains unsuccessfully trying to preserve his marriage, doing everything without his wife noticing . And he confides his secret: one day, a neglected patient had come to shoot at him. Cole then reveals his own: he sees dead people and speaks to them … You understand: Malcolm realizes only at the end that he is already dead, that his wife is widowed …
Big Fish
If the form corresponds in any point to the films of Tim Burton, the background differs. Behind the dreamlike landscapes, the surprising characters and the scenes out of time, hides a touching reflection on the father-son relationship . Here a sales rep called Edward Bloom sees his end arrive, and his son Billy Crudup comes closer. The subject: reconciliation, before saying goodbye.
Inception
One of the best films in recent years. A slap. And a success as critical and commercial, logically. Behind the life of thugs that leads Dominic Cobb, “extractors” professional hired by multinationals to steal the secret information of their competitors, hides the tragic disappearance of his wife, Mal. Confused in their adventures between dream and reality, she had committed suicide . A tragic event that prompted Cobb to flee the United States (suspected of murder) and abandon his children, letting him go through an immense period of mourning, alone, to blame.
Seven lives
A touching Will Smith, in a dramatic film, far removed from his usual robotic robotic rolls of mechanics. Some have not borne the miserabilistic side of the film, or have seen a more megalo than generous side to his character, Ben Thomas. In summary, Ben killed seven people in an accident, including his wife . Depressed, unable to bear, he decided to change the lives of seven people. Before putting an end to his days. His plan is ready, he begins to apply it … and death takes on the features of a divine gesture that must not be spoiled. Which of these films touched you the most?
The post Yes, talking about death can also be beautiful first appeared on The Siver Times.
