The 8th season of The Walking Dead is still far away so what better than going back to the beginning to see a little bit the Rick & co’s progress.
It’s been a long time, 7 years already, so we help you a little bit to remember what’s going on in the very first episode of The Walking Dead, “Days Gone Bye.” And to set the tone, it is well with a zombie kid with bloodshot eyes that the series begins , to put Rick – and we – direct in the mood. Normal .
Hop, after this entry, we are immersed in a flashback with a smiling Shane ( yes we know, it is rare ) and a Rick without beard ( even rarer! ) Who speak chicks and macho jokes while eating fries. We knew how to have fun before in The Walking Dead but it’s more the same atmosphere 7 seasons and at least 10 main characters dead later !
But as we know, it will not last and the two BFFs end up in a chase that goes badly, especially for Rick.
And then comes one of the most beautiful grammatical prowess of the series: Do not Dead Open Inside – bin yes, maybe it would have been simpler to write it otherwise;) But the message is past and Rick quickly made decamp.
Rick then discovers all the dead bodies – at the time when the series still had the faith to make them fly around – lined up next to the hospital with a slightly horrified look but not too much. We do not know you but we if we emerged from a coma and it was literally the apocalypse, we would have probably cracked a little more than that … But hey, is not Rick Grimes who wants. The little freak out comes later, when he sees the first undead in his life … and he rides a red bike.
Fortunately, Morgan is there to teach him the tricks of the trade … after his son put him a good shovel in the face because he was well educated. Already paranoid, but that’s what makes her charm, right?
After a short drive to fill up with weapons – but no food because we can not do everything we should not mess up – Rick sets out for Atlanta to find his family while Morgan learns to shoot at his son because That division is strength, is well known.
An unsuccessful radio exchange later, we find on the other end of the line a part of the base group: Dale, Amy, Shane, Lori and Carl, all tiny mimi , installed in tents and camper. If they knew that in a few years, some would be installed in houses with oven and hot cookies (thanks Carol) …
Rick is playing cowbow to the end and continues to Atlanta on horseback. We already know that this is not a good idea, but it still gives us one of the most cult images of the series.
And it is with the soft voice of Glenn which treats Rick of moron locked up in a tank encircled of walkers that ends the episode. Phew, saved. Finally, almost … In the end, the very first episode of The Walking Dead pretty much aged, with zombies already impressive and a very nice rhythm. We even have the right to a small cliffhanger story to make the curious come back. We regret that more recent seasons have so few dialogues when we see that even with a small handful of characters, it does not fuss in the first episode. And you, what had you thought of the very first episode of The Walking Dead?
The post We got the pilot of The Walking Dead! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Was there really no way to give them even a little reprieve?
We start to know the music: we do everything to make you attach to a character and when you make a small place in your heart next to your mother and your cat, we rip you all shamelessly . The worst thing is that you’re maso because you come back every time. In fact you know very well that with time, the pain subsides, and that other characters will come to do the taf. Even if in hindsight, certain deaths seem to you really precipitated. The guys down there still had a role to play, I’m sure! (Attention spoilers!)
Jimmy Darmody (Boardwalk Empire)
The first two seasons of Boardwalk Empire revolve mainly around the mentor / protégé relationship between Nucky Thompson and Jimmy Darmody. But the thirst for power (and revenge) of the latter will lead to its loss … A heartbreak for all fans of the series, who had attached themselves to the true hero of the show of HBO.
We had to bump who instead? Manny Orvitz.
Charlie Pace (Lost)
Charlie is one of the most complex characters in Lost . An ex-rockstar addicted to the heroine who found a new meaning to his life after the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. On the island, the young man quickly fell in love with Claire, striving to help her Better to raise her baby. It will take time to digest his death in season 3, when his character would have deserved much better.
We had to bump who instead? Claire Littleton.
Robb Stark (Game of Thrones)
Roose Bolton’s blade not only took the life of poor Robb Stark during the famous “Purple Wedding” , it also caused a lot of trouble for fans of the fantasy series who imagined the new King of Winterfell well off to kick The Lannister ass. Robb, a great military strategist, imposed grave charges upon him, and Port-Royal seemed to him promised. But it is never good to have too many certainties in Game of Thrones , where his death and that of his mother totally rebuffed the cards.
We had to bump who instead? Everyone (this is what is expected).
Harry “Opie” Winston (Sons of Anarchy)
After a brief period of mechanics, “Opie” will quickly return to service within the Club. To the point of becoming one of the pillars of SAMCRO and more generally of the series. As much to say that his death in season 5 put a lot of fans in PLS, they who expected to see him continue until the end of SOA with his best friend Jax. Fate (and the creator of the series) will have decided otherwise.
We had to bump who instead? Clay Morrow.
Stringer Bell (The Wire)
The role that revealed Idris Elba to the general public. Straight arm of Avon Barksdale, Stringer Bell handles drug trafficking on the streets of Baltimore. Thinking and posed, the man takes lessons in economics and rationalizes traffic like any other business , to the point of seeing it as a gateway to the “real” business world, which will nevertheless Violent STOP. In his quest for power, String ‘will get angry with the bad people, including Omar and Mouzone who lead him in season 3. Too bad, his character still had so much to give …
We had to bump who instead? Avon Barksdale.
Shane Walsh (The Walking Dead)
The mano a mano between Shane and Rick is the main frame of the first two seasons of The Walking Dead with in climax the fight to death between the two heroes. On this subject, actor Jon Bernthal, who plays Shane, revealed that there was an alternative version of his death. In the final duel in the woods, Rick kills him with a knife before he wakes up in a zombie. So far, everything happens as in the series. But then, Rick had to take Shane’s gun and shoot at him, realizing that the gun was not loaded. Shane had not come to kill him. Proof that the former deputy sheriff still had good and a margin of evolution for the following episodes …
We had to bump who instead? Carl (yeah, it’s free).
Gustavo Fring (Breaking Bad)
Perhaps one of the most charismatic villains in the history of TV series. Gustavo, it’s a chartered accountant to whom you would give the good Lord, if beside that, he ordered no executions between two chicken menus in Los Pollos Hermanos. Attention to detail, his death has become a cult cult element. We would have liked her to intervene a little later …
We had to bump who instead? Hmmm …. Gustavo, not the choice.
The post These series characters left too early while they were still under the elbow first appeared on The Siver Times.

Meanwhile the Season 7 season of The Walking Dead, back on those times when the series moved away from the original comics to do even better.
There are only a few days to wait before the return of Rick and then we hoped it would be finally happy in the rest of the season 7 of The Walking Dead , it now offers a little background. The series is based on the comics of Robert Kirkman and it is this story that the writers to write the following episodes, but sometimes they move away from the original source and do even better . Do not hesitate, if you are familiar with both media, also share the differences between the two that you enjoyed.
More Shane
In the comics, the death of Shane Walsh is rather fast and Carl kills him to protect his father before they even arrive at the farm of Hershel. Suffice to say that the series has opted to stay a little longer for the former cop and that is not displeasing to us as the tension between Rick and Shane proved to be a key part of Season 2 , not to mention Of the night of Shane’s death, apotheosis of a dramatic situation to the possible. Shane’s presence as an anti hero has allowed Rick to assert himself and harden to become the leader he is today.
The tragedies of the Grimes
As many know, in the comics The Walking Dead are sometimes much harder than the series, and this is particularly the case for the history of Grimes. In the comic strip, Lori gets killed in prison soon after giving birth to Judith. When she gets shot by a soldier of the Governor, it falls on Judith and kills by crushing . Suffice to say that as tragic as it was, Lori’s death in the series remains a little less trash. Moreover to see Carl killing his own mother also allowed his character to evolve and to harden suddenly.
Carol the badass
Speculation about Carol and her fate in the series have already made much talk. In the comics, Carol can not regain a foothold and commits suicide by letting eaten by a zombie then refusing the help of his friends to save . In the series, Carol became an incredible warrior who mastered the art of survival. His small empty passage in season 6 asked some questions about his mental state and the possibilities for his plot to join that of the comics. But she seems to get back on foot at the Kingdom and hopes to see her still fit in several seasons.
Terminus
The plot of Terminus does not exist in the comics and was therefore only written for the series although it is inspired by that of the Hunters. This addition has given us a treasure hunt on track and an incredible explosion thanks to Carol that we are not soon forget , so it was still a good thing here to get away from comics. Having a common destination allowed the group to meet up after the prison and offered us interesting subgroups with characters who are less used to interacting.
Abraham’s Respite
Rather than die in Season 6 of an arrow in the eye, Abraham spent his lap and let this death surprised to Denise . This not only surprised the fans – including readers – even though the death of Denise was to be expected given the development of her character. But it also offered us a raw season even more bloody than expected with the deaths of Glenn AND Abraham. In short, to say that those who did not have spoiler had to be well surprised! Meanwhile whether this will happen again in the sequel, we listed for you the 5 most touching moments of The Walking Dead . And you what do you think ?
The post The Walking Dead: 5 times where the series did not do like in the comics … and so much the better! first appeared on The Siver Times.

In “Service”, we learned that Rick knew Judith was not him and that he believes Shane is the biological father of the little girl . This revelation of later surprised more than a fan – ourselves included – because you can not say that Judith takes a prominent place in the plot recently. The most logical reason is that Rick wanted, confiding his secret to Michonne, make him understand why he crouches before Negan. After two of his friends have died before his eyes, Rick is determined to do everything possible to not endanger anyone, including Judith protects it from birth and he wants to see grow up to teach him how to survive. Yet the most imaginative found another reason for writers to drop such a bomb in episode 4.
Often the writers of The Walking Dead are particularly interested in a character before deciding to kill him, as happened to Beth, Noah, Nicolas or Denise . By focusing on their future victim, writers create among viewers some connection with the character to spark a new empathy for him to maximize the impact of his death. Because have very little heard of Judith from his plot at the end of Season 4 until his reunion with Rick, Carl and the rest of the group in the season premiere of season 5, some tend to think that c ‘is to prepare for his death that Rick talked about it in such a surprisingly touching speech. After all having a baby in an apocalyptic world is not easy and with pregnancy Maggie continues, we imagine that two babies will prove even more complicated.
But the writers of The Walking Dead are they really ready to shock us again with the death of a baby? After the massacres of Glenn and Abraham in an episode that many pointing the finger for its violence, killing a little girl could have quite a negative impact on the show’s reputation. Not to mention the enormous impact on Rick and Carl who have both been periods bleak. It is therefore hoped that this revelation on the paternity Judith was just that, a revelation that allowed Rick to explain his behavior and Michonne Michonne better understand the man she is in love . Anyway between the questioning of the possible death of Judith and rumors Chandler Riggs (Carl) could leave The Walking Dead , the Grimes family has clearly not finished being in the heart of the debate! And you, that ‘do you think?
The post The Walking Dead Season 7: Judith she going to die? first appeared on The Siver Times.
