The long wait until this fall has begun and we have already offered to discover what was going to happen in season 8 of The Walking Dead to wait until then. Today it is in season 7 that we will take an interest to draw up our balance sheet. Do not hesitate to tell us what you think about it in the comments and attention to the spoilers if you have not seen all the episodes. We start with the rhythm of the season which, as for some of the previous seasons, remains problematic in the series . The Walking Dead continues its schema with two different tones and moods between the first eight and eight last episodes, and four strong episodes that stand out: season premiere, mid-season finale, Mid-season premiere and season finale – between which we find episodes softer and not always very captivating. This problem seemed particularly blatant in a season 7 to the overall wobbly consistency despite a certain turnaround between the first and second half of the season. Some delays were noticed in intrigues not necessarily primordial to the story – although interesting – while the deadlock was made on other scenes that could have been key if they had been shown.
For example, the arrival of Sasha at the Sanctuary, then his capture, or the meeting between Dwight and Rosita, or the coordination of the Kingdom and Hilltop who arrived at the right time in Alexandria. So many things that we really liked to see on the screen and which sometimes gave us the impression of having missed scenes. In short, and to finish with the negative points of this season, it was more, in our opinion, a transitory season supposed to delay the beginning of the war between Rick and Negan . The first direct confrontation took place in the final season and marks the beginning of a new era for the characters. As for the things we liked, we can notably mention the few episodes centered on characters in particular.
The discovery of new communities, and therefore new characters, was also very sympathetic, although this obviously means that the plots were once again split up and that there were sometimes 3 episodes without news from a group particular. Another positive point: the evolution of the characters. It has been quite obvious for some like Carl, Maggie or Rick since the beginning of his relationship with Michonne. After a terrible first season, Carl continues to harden and become the archetype of a survivor who has only known the apocalypse as he grows up . His determination and his courage, which sometimes borders on imprudence, have made him a fascinating personage whom we are anxious to see flourish in this new world. Whether it is he, Maggie, Rosita or Eugene, each character showed us a new facet of himself by reminding us why we are so attached to The Walking Dead and all its protagonists, good and bad. Finally how to talk about good points without mentioning the incredible Negan, played to perfection by a Jeffrey Dean Morgan sometimes charming, sometimes terrifying. Good things and a little less, the series signed AMC is still good enough to ask for more and waiting for the sequel, you have already been told more about the date of broadcast season 8 of The Walking Dead . And what is your record of Season 7? Each character showed us a new facet of himself by reminding us why we are so attached to The Walking Dead and all its protagonists, good and bad. Finally how to talk about good points without mentioning the incredible Negan, played to perfection by a Jeffrey Dean Morgan sometimes charming, sometimes terrifying. What will happen in season 8? We offer you our predictions and speculations, which will be based in part on the comics published in the US, so you are warned against spoilers and those who do not want to know their way. The last episode of season 7 has finally marked the beginning of the war between Rick and Negan and so it is above all what one can expect . With the help of the Kingdom and Hilltop, Alexandria is now the weight in front of the Sanctuary and it is a safe bet that this first confrontation is followed by many more violent ones. For example, With Dwight’s help, Rick and his group set out to attack the Sanctuary before Negan could return. This would allow them to avenge the death of Sasha since they do not know that she committed suicide to save them, and finally to take their revenge – and possibly settle their accounts with Eugene.
It’s not just the Saviors who might have a surprise visit, since it’s possible that Rick and his allies go to see Jadis and the Scavengers to clear things up. Season 8 should also mark the arrival of a community well known to the readers of comics: the Whisperers, alias Whisperers in French. With Alpha at their head, this group of ruthless survivors is expected to complicate matters a little more for Rick. The Whisperers disguise themselves as walkers by wearing their skin to go unnoticed and it is a group behind many intrigues in the comic strip on which is based The Walking Dead . Indeed, it is notably because of Whisperers that Rick and Negan will eventually find a land of ” Agreement after Rick captured the leader of the Saviors . Because yes, if the series continues to follow the comics, Rick will eventually defeat Negan and finally take over. But he will not be at the end of his sorrows for all that, and he may well lose many of his friends afterwards.
According to the comics, it is among others Father Gabriel, Rosita and Ezekiel who should die in season 8 of The Walking Dead, killed by the Whisperers to finish with their heads on spears. Moreover the fate of many characters who do not exist in the comic or whose intrigue has been changed remains a mystery. If Daryl’s chances of survival are rather high given his popularity, can we say the same for Carol? In any case, it is hoped that her plot will be more interesting later and that she will stay in Alexandria to reconnect with her after a whole season of absence. Maggie will surely return to Hilltop to continue training her residents and prepare for the coming war. After many separate intrigues, We would like to see the maximum number of characters in the same place to see them interact more. This gives us an idea of what can be expected from the sequel. To wait until then, we have listed for you the 5 key moments of episode 16 of season 7 of The Walking Dead . And you, what do you see in Season 8?
The post The Walking Dead Season 8: What’s Gonna Happen? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead ended last night on AMC with a surprising final season which you can not discover our criticism!
No you do not dream, last night AMC has already broadcast the last episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead . “The First Day of the Rest of Your Life” has fulfilled its promises with action, a certain outcome and a strong foundation for Season 8 and we invite you to discover our criticism. Warning, the article will contain spoilers on the episode. As the spoilers had foreseen, it was a Sasha in the dark who listened to the music found in the opening scene and those who had read them knew what would follow: the surprise return of Michael Cudlitz under the Features of Abraham . Throughout the episode, Sasha and he spoke to each other and their tender and sunny scenes contrast sharply with the rest of the action, Episode in a sometimes strange way. She tells him that she dreamed that he was dead and the way it was shown made sure that it might as well be a pre-season flashback 7 in which Sasha was particularly perceptive that d A hallucination caused by what she knows.
Maggie is also very present in Sasha’s thoughts and the end of the episode shows us how important her character is later on, but we’ll come back to it later. Because in Alexandria, we are plunged back and forth directly – even a little too much – with Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Jesus, Rosita and Tara questioning Dwight who explains that he is there because Sheryl is gone. Denise’s death still hangs over Tara who encourages Daryl to kill him but the war against the Saviors prevails and Dwight is a definite advantage for them. Meanwhile at the Sanctuary and since the scenes of Sasha in the dark are actually flashforwards, Negan gives her a visit and ends up signing a deal with her: only one person will die to get the message out to Rick . We can already see in Sasha’s eyes that she decided who would be the unfortunate victim and it is therefore not surprising that she is seen taking the pill of Eugene once installed in the coffin that brings her back to Alexandria. At Hilltop and the Kingdom, things are moving and we regret that we did not see the organization of the different communities that had to happen partly off screen.
The gathering of the Scavengers of Jadis, of Hilltop of which Maggie took control and Kingdom is done quickly and creates at the beginning of the episode a rhythm a little jerky which gives the impression of having missed things. The episode still takes time to show us a scene as funny as unexpected when the arrival of Jadis who asks Michonne if it’s problem for her that she sleeps with Rick after the battle, normal . Rick and Michonne are equally uncomfortable with each other and the scene would surely have seemed more funny if Jadis did not end up shamefully betraying Rick once Negan on the spot. If the beginning of the episode seemed to us to take place in jerks, the last part caught up with all this. The arrival of Eugene and his speech, the betrayal of Jadis and the new deal of Negan: Everything goes together perfectly. And things accelerate when Negan opens the coffin and discovers a zombified Sasha throwing himself at him, the only major death of season finale season 7 of The Walking Dead . We suspected that she could not kill him but we admit that we dreamed a little bit of it for a few seconds …
Carl takes advantage of the surprise effect and pulls the first, triggering a disorganized chaos during which one wonders how the survivors manage to distinguish their friends from their enemies. The attempt to attack eventually failed and ended with Rick and Carl on their knees before Negan, and a new promise: Carl’s death. Rick’s reply has less effect on Negan – and on us – than in the first season, and we thank Shiva for making a shattering entry . The special effects team went out of their way to show us the tigress devour some Saviors and we hope to see a little more in the sequel. The arrival of the Kingdom, followed by that of Maggie and Hilltop change the situation and allow our heroes to regain the upper hand and make flee a Negan who has the nerves. The season ends in a very nuanced way, on a half-victory for Rick but with the loss of Sasha and a betrayal that hurts. Yet Rick and Maggie’s speech that accompanies us to the last few seconds proves that Glenn’s soul is still present in the series and stresses that hope is reborn and that it is ready to fight that we will find them all in The season 8. AMC offered us an episode with the strange rhythm that catches up well on the end bringing us – finally! – the long awaited action and the beginning of a war that we are already looking forward to. And you, what did you think of the last episode? The wait, always wait until this summer and spread the continuation of the adventures of Jon Snow and others. melty continues to help you and wait while Iain Glen (Jorah) there is little justification season 7 Game of Thrones shorter , now is the time to relax the brain (or not) with a theory unbelievable. But when you are told incredible is the mindfuck insured. Posted by user “xyseth” forum Reddit some time ago, this fascinating theory that farfetched drew our attention because in addition to being funny, it is also rather well argued . So hang on, wake up your second degree and off you go! One begins by making a comparison between King’s Landing and Thebes, notably with their 7 doors, and a taste for incest that is barely hidden. The story of Oedipus, the famous personage of ancient Greece, who killed his father and married his mother, is indeed at Thebes. Let’s continue by identifying, at King’s Landing, a character very similar to Oedipus: Tyrion Lannister.
Both are described as repulsive, have saved their city but remain very unpopular, have been disinherited since their birth, and have killed their father. You follow us? Well, because it’s far from finished. In the continuity, Tyrion would then be led to marry his mother? But Joanna Lannister is dead. Except that it takes more to stop the surfer according to which Joanna is not the true mother of Tyrion, who would be a priori born of a surrogate mother, it is given to you in thousand: Daenerys Targaryen! And so his father would be Drogo. To see a little more clearly (or not), the whole is followed by comparisons between Tyrion and the stillborn son of Dany, Rhaego. They were both described as monstrous at birth with, in the books, similar adjectives. But how could Daenerys, then in Essos, have given birth to Tyrion when she is younger than he? No worries, the user xyseth has an explanation as simple as the rest (lol).
For the fan in question, Mirri Maz Duur would be the key to everything. In books when she tells Dany if Drogo will be cured one day, she replied in a clear way and not great at all cryptic: “When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east … Then he return, and not before ” . Which means that there must be a reversal of time for it to return, logical. Qaithe, the mysterious woman encountered by Jorah and Dany, also talks about time travel: “Going north, you have to go south to reach the West, you have to go to the East To move forward, we must.. back ” . If we try to sum up something from the past must come in the future and vice versa, and this thing would be stillborn fetus of Daenerys, Rhaego .
Come on, just a little effort and we’re almost there. With his magic, Mirri Maz Duur would have transplanted Rhaego in the past, in Joanna, using the soul of Drogo as a space-time ship that would be absorbed by Rhaego. And at the time of Joanna, she did not give birth to her fetus, whose father Tywin (or Aerys?), Which would then remain dead for several years inside it . Until Mirri Maz Duur not make the exchange and Daenerys birth of the fetus died years ago and described in the books as having “skin that came off the bones as soon as I touched it, full of worms and stinking decomposition. He was dead for years ” . You understood ? Yet it was super clear …
In short, Mirri Maz Duur had used the soul of Drogo to transport Rhaego in the past and which Joanna had given birth, but would have named Tyrion . Joanna’s dead fetus, transferred to Daenerys in the future, would not have survived him. Tyrion would therefore be Rhaego, the son of Daenerys, who had already killed his father via the transfer of fetus, and who would now be ready to marry his mother to complete the Oedipus prophecy and become the “stallion that will mount the world.” You were promised a mindfuck and here is a beautiful one. Well, certainly it is only the lucubrations of a very imaginative – and perhaps a little delirious – mind that lead to a strange conclusion: an upcoming marriage between Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen. For the more energetic, the complete theory and English is available from here . Needless to say, it’s hard to believe in all this but it was too crazy not to enjoy a little laugh … While waiting to know what it will really happen in the sequel, ‘wondered who would be the real winners of Game of Thrones at the end of the series . So, verdict?
