Fear The Walking Dead, Orange Is the New Black, Reign: Our Top Series of June 2017

So, between Fear The Walking Dead, Orange Is the New Black and many others, who will be number 1 ?!
Although it is June and most of the series are in summer hiatus since May, the month has been well rhythmic since several series have bowed, while others have begun . Like what, even the summer period is now rich in series and especially in series of quality. For example, we had to say goodbye to Reign, Pretty Little Liars or The Leftovers , while Orphan Black pointed his nose to begin his final season . We invite you of course to share with us which series have marked your month of June and without waiting you are offered our ranking:
9 – Pretty Little Liars
It’s hard not to make a small place in Pretty Little Liars in our June Top Series as the series offered us its latest episode three days ago. When one was disappointed or conquered by the last revelations and the end offered to the characters, one can not deny that this marks the end of an era and that this series will certainly leave a mark in the television world – Is to make fun of it. -A is officially retired and know that you can find our critic of episode 20 of season 7 of Pretty Little Liars , on melty.
8 – The Originals
After a season a little below what we are used to see for The Originals , we must admit to have enjoyed enough the season finale of season 4 who preferred to play the card of emotion rather than that of The action . For once, the plot refocused on the characters and what they are willing to do to save those they love. We hope that season 5 will resume on this path and will offer us an enemy more interesting than the Hollow which remained something far too abstract. Anyway, we found the end interesting for the sequel and we look forward to seeing how the Mikaelson will handle this new event.
7 – Reign
After four seasons of royal intrigues, conspiracies and betrayals, it was necessary to say goodbye to Reign since the series unfortunately was not renewed for a season 5 by the CW. If we can reproach this final season for having a little too much accelerated the intrigues to tell a maximum of the life of Mary Stuart, it is still with emotions that we watched the last episode. Reign is a real guilty pleasure that brought us our dose of madness every week with all the same strong and powerful female characters . One thing is for sure, the Laurie McCarthy series will be missed and the Adelaide Kane game too!
6 – Orphan Black
For his final season, Orphan Black offers us episodes that are always more captivating and full of mysteries. Sarah Manning and her clones are always looking for answers on their origins at the risk of sometimes having to sacrifice themselves . Despite a certain sadness at the approach of the very end of the series, it is confessed to you that it would have been difficult to imagine Orphan Black continue for several more seasons. In any case it deserves its place in our Top Series!
5 – GLOW
This month, Netflix has launched a new series called GLOW, including Alison Brie (Community) and Betty Gilpin (Masters of Sex) , who is interested in women’s wrestling. An original and unusual subject in the world of TV series that is treated with humor and emotions . If the season is a bit short – only 10 episodes of about thirty minutes – to allow the characters to be explored in depth, GLOW has enjoyed us with its little kitsch side of the 80s and its diverse and varied female characters.
4 – Fear The Walking Dead
Fear The Walking Dead deserves its place in our Top Series of the month with a season 3 that starts off very well. The season premiere double proved that the series could take risks by killing Travis Manawa and she went on to propose a whole episode in Spanish focused on Daniel Salazar . Risky take-overs that reboost the series well, not to mention the new characters that, so far, continue to arouse our interest. In short, sympathetic episodes that make us look forward to seeing the continuation.
3 – The Leftovers
The surrealist series by Damon Lindelof, The Leftovers , offered us a last season full of poetry and questioning. The Leftovers always succeed in transporting us thanks to surprising intrigues and incredible performances from the actors. Where the end of Lost still unleashes passions and still rages a large majority of the fans of the series, The Leftovers has agreed everyone proposing a beautiful end, full of hope and somehow Of the response elements without actually proposing them. The Leftovers has always been able to present complicated intrigues to us with simplicity and its final is exactly to this image . A real masterpiece.
2 – The Handmaid’s Tale
As already mentioned , The Handmaid’s Tale is for us the best novelty of the year 2017, for the moment and it ended in apotheosis with moments always more disturbing and glacier . But also by the beginning of the rebellion of the Handmaids and mainly of Offred, although we do not yet know what all this will lead and if the heroine has just signed his death warrant. Fortunately, the series has already been renewed for a season 2 by Hulu and although we will surely wait a year before we know the rest, we will not remain on this open end.
1 – Orange Is the New Black
This year, Orange Is the New Black took on a real challenge, concentrating the plot of its thirteen episodes on just three days, and she raised it up! Always as fun and crazy while offering serious intrigues that sometimes denounce certain injustices or problems of society, the season of Orange Is the New Black totally captivated us. The Litchfield Inmate Rebellion will come with its consequences in the coming season, but it will have allowed us to learn more about some of the characters and pay tribute to Poussey Washington. Now, we are waiting for season 6 of Orange Is the New Black with great impatience …

While the 2017 World Cup continues to be in full swing on melty, find out the editorial choice for matches 5 and 6!
Strongly the results! Yes, the meltynauts, we are just entering the second week of competition and we are terribly impatient to know the name of the big winner. But in the meantime, the confrontations continue and your favorites are likely to be eliminated if you do not give all you can to save them. While The Flash, Westworld or Orange is the New Black have been completely unexpectedly eliminated , the editorial decided to give you the names of our favorites for games 5 and 6!
Once Upon A Time vs. The Big Bang Theory
This is a match between two completely different series. Indeed, if Once Upon A Time is a series based on fairy tales, The Big Bang Theory is a sitcom that follows the tribulations of a geek group. And we will not lie to you, we have a real affection for the two television shows. Broadcast for many years, they have both gained an important place in our hearts. Yet, despite a very low season, we still support Once Upon A Time . Great winner of the first two editions of the CMS, it could easily win again.
Legends of Tomorrow vs Vikings
If Legends of Tomorrow does not get much talk about her, Vikings has established itself as a real phenomenon since its launch on History. Yet, both series are excellent each in their own way . Vikings plays devilishly well with the historical facts and offer us breathtaking twists while Legends of Tomorrow assumes his raving side with brilliance and offers us to laugh a good shot after following the emotionally complicated adventures of The Flash or Arrow. However, just for its popularity and efficiency, our choice is for Vikings for this particularly tight match!

Pretty Little Liars Season 7: Ezria, Haleb, Emis … Who finished with whom?

Last night, the final episode of Season 7 of Pretty Little Liars was aired. So it’s time to take stock of the stories of love. Between Haleb, Ezria, Emison and the others, who knew their happy ending?
A page turns … Last night, episode 20 of Season 7 of Pretty Little Liars, here is our critic , was broadcast on Freeform. After seven years of loyal service, the Pretty Little Liars series is over. If many revelations were given during this double episode, emotion was also part of the game. Yes, what would Marlene King’s show be without love? Since the beginning of the series, our lovely Liars have been faithful to their first love and to say that it is very rare in series , even in everyday life. There has always been only one person in their hearts since the very first season of the show. But then, in this Final Series, Who had the right to his happy ending and especially who finished with that? Here is a short recap on Ezria, Haleb, Emison and Spoby!
Ezria:
Their couple experienced ups and downs but they always managed to find themselves. If their story had gone badly in some episodes, Aria and Ezra proved that love was stronger than anything . In fact, in this Series Final, the couple finally married. The emotion was present because this marriage took place in the last minutes of the episode. Additionally, they plan to adopt a child on their return from their honeymoon. All is well that ends well for Ezria!
Haleb:
Haleb has always been our favorite couple. Their love story was adorable and the alchemy between the two actors was really nice to see. They form the ideal pair and proved it in this Series Finale. Caleb has always been present for his beautiful and he continued to support her costs. In this final episode, Haleb also knew her happy ending as Hanna told the Liars she was pregnant !
Emison:
It was the couple that everyone was waiting for. The relationship between Emily and Alison has always been ambiguous since Season 1, but it was in Season 7 that they got married. Moreover, in this final episode of Pretty Little Liars, Alison gave birth and the duo thus raises two adorable twins. In addition, Alison asked for Emily’s hand. Yes, after all this time, they found themselves and are finally happy! Moreover, the identity of the father of their babies was revealed in this episode 20 of season 7 of Pretty Little Liars and it was quite surprising!
Spoby:
It is probably the couple who had the least chance of knowing his happy ending and yet. While Shadowhunters’ Season 2 Episode 14 was aired recently on Freeform, let’s get back to the main events of “The Fair Folk”!
An intense episode! Yes, the meltynauts, if the real objective of this second part of the season struggles to emerge, the relations between the characters intensify offering us scenes efficient and well orchestrated. While Melty’s review of Shadowhunters’ episode 13 episode 13 , let’s review the main events of The Fair Folk recently released on Freeform . And the least we can say is that the journey of Jace, Clary and Simon to the country of fairies has not been easy. Indeed, nothing happened as planned and while we thought that our heroine was quite sure of his choice concerning Simon, The queen of fairies opened her eyes in no time sowing trouble in her love life. Confronted with a terrible choice-that of embracing the boy she most desired-Clary had to go to the evidence and lay a kiss on Jace’s lips in order to free the two men of her life from the grip Of the fairy. A kiss far from brief and which has even turned into a passionate embrace under Simon’s dejected eyes .
It’s hard to see how Clary can catch up with the man who became his boyfriend. She was under the effect of a spell, so it is hard to imagine how she can explain her gesture and the fact that it is towards Jace that she is most attracted if she is bound to tell the truth. To all fans of the Climon couple, get ready because it smells extremely bad . Meanwhile, Isabelle was afraid of her mother’s arrival at the institute. HBO unveiled a new trailer for Game of Thrones Season 7. And since then, we ask a lot of questions …
We can say that Game of Thrones knows how to captivate us to the end. After a year of waiting, season 7 of GOT will finally land on our screens on July 16! Winter comes to the end of his nose and upsets the ambitions of the characters in the series. The last two seasons of the show will finally reveal who will reach the iron throne. Suffice to say that the suspense is at its height! To make us wait until then, HBO has unveiled a new trailer of season 7 of Game of Thrones where the war is raging . Since this incredible teaser, we have dozens of questions in mind on what it might well happen in the next GOT season …
What will be the role of Sansa Stark?

Pretty Little Liars season 7: Episode 20, the end of the game, our critic of the final series!

Last night, Freeform released the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars! Then discover our critique of this double episode titled “Til deAth do us pArt”.
Well, it’s over … After seven years of suspense, mystery, intrigue nonsensical and completely WTF revelations, Pretty Little Liars bowed out last night on Freeform with a double episode . This episode is, in the image of this season, composed of many lengths and moments a little useless to the plot whereas the revelations are given to the lance-thrower so much that we hardly have time To assimilate them. It must be admitted that not much is going on during much of the episode. We find the Liars a year after the events of episode 19 of Season 7 of Pretty Little Liars . Aria and Ezra are getting ready to marry. Hanna and Caleb are in cold as Hanna insists on looking after Mona. Spencer approached his mother and especially his sister Melissa. While Alison and Emily are the proud mothers of binoculars, Lily and Grace – yes, even binoculars, is a bit the theme of the episode.
Things are accelerating from the moment when Caleb said, speaking of Mona: “What kind of damage can she do in one night?” . Well, Caleb, know that many things can happen in one night, have you learned nothing from these last seven seasons? And, in fact, this is where the action begins – finally – since we begin to see double. Spencer, after being struck violently by Mona, finds herself locked in a cell and discovers her twin, Alex Drake or AD for the intimates . Our intuitions were therefore the dear meltynauts, Spencer indeed has a twin sister and it is she who tortured them since the death of Charlotte, her half-sister. And that’s where we would have liked a little more time on Alex’s backstory, Which is unfortunately too quickly dispatched. As for Charles / Charlotte / Cece at the end of season 5, the series does not leave us time to explore the character. At least Mona had come to know her.
So, Alex is well and truly determined to take the life of his sister because she has everything she has ever had: friends, a family and Toby. Admittedly, Alex Drake does not seem to have had an easy life, since Mary Drake first sold her and her adoptive parents left her in an orphanage after discovering that she had a difficult behavior. But does this justify all this torture and murder? Also, if the game of Troian Bellisario is really at the top, we would still have gone well of this British accent which is really too much. It is finally thanks to Jenna and Mona that the Liars will be able to discover the truth and to save Spencer and Ezra from the clutches of Alex .
But if you thought the final series of Pretty Little Liars was going to leave us on a pretty emotional end, think again . While the girls have just said goodbye because Aria leaves on honeymoon, we find ourselves in “France” . If, yes, there is written “bakery” on the building and Mona wears a beret, it is necessarily France. It turns out that Mona has indeed won the game but that she also took it since in her basement are locked Mary and Alex Drake … Wait what ?! And that’s not all, the very last scene of the series is a repeat of the very first scene, But this time with the new generation of teenage girls and it is the Addison plague that has disappeared. We really hope with all our strength that they will not offer us a spin-off with the same story but with a new generation … We did not come here to suffer, okay ?!
There are still a lot of good times in “Til deAth do us pArt” . The episode offered us a lot of winks to the other seasons, including the very first episode, such as the conversation between Melissa and Spencer, Toby and Spencer playing scrabble, and so on. A really nice touch for the fans of the first hour and that makes us all nostalgic and takes us back to that moment when we thought we were still discovering who was -A at the end of the first season – haha . The winks and various humorous touches scattered here and there help to make sure that the plot is not taken too seriously . The idea of having the mothers who meet up and talk about that night when they were locked in the cellar is really good and shows that the series is not afraid to laugh on its own. We also laughed in front of the cameo of Marlene King, the creator of the show, during Ezria’s wedding.
In the end, we are not really disappointed by this episode because we are used to all the crazy side of Pretty Little Liars and it has long been accepted that everything did not necessarily make sense. The scene that has moved us most will remain where the girls say goodbye to the streets of Rosewood, because we feel that their tears are those of the actresses and that it sounds for them the end of a very beautiful adventure . We regret much that the series does not end on this, because, between us, we really did not need the two scenes that followed and that came to spoil this beautiful moment of emotion and nostalgia. This series made us rage, laugh, Screaming and sometimes even crying for seven seasons, and even if we sometimes looked at her with a mocking eye or we spent hours saying nothing was meaningless, we would miss a bit. What series will offer us our dose of improbable, funny and surprising content with actresses dressed as well? What did you think of this last episode?

The Flash, Westworld, Orange is The New Black: Completely unexpected eliminations!

While the first phase of the 2017 World Cup is now over, many completely unexpected series have been eliminated. We make the point!
The parade of the losers! Yes, the meltynauts, if many series have managed to pass the very first stage of this 2017 World Cup, others have unfortunately not succeeded in convincing you and have therefore been eliminated. While melty’s editor suggested you discover which series were selected for the round of 16 , let’s come back together on all the shows we thought were untouchable and yet rolled!
The Flash
This is the big fall for the DC Comics show. Indeed, if Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow managed to make it into the round of 16, it is not the case of The Flash which is perhaps under the third set of reverses below the previous ones. It leaves its place at Stranger Things, a real phenomenon this year and at The Vampire Diaries which offered us its very last season this year. Big disappointment for all fans of The Flash who hoped to see her brandishing the trophy.
Westworld
The HBO show did not last very long in the competition and it is quite unexpected given the success it has met with the public. New, fresh and disconcerting, Westworld had managed to attract the favors of the greatest number thanks to an original, complex and deep pitch. If she has not managed to go further, we can imagine that it is because it has stopped being broadcast a few months and that its second season will not be launched before 2018. Fortunately, the fans will remain to him Faithful!
Orange is The New Black
The Netflix series had almost managed to beat Arrow in the first round but it was not enough. Fans of the green archer awoke to the very last second offering him a great victory. It is a pity for the girls of the series who can boast of having proposed a fifth season of thunder. However, we bet she could go much further next year and why not even afford the supreme title! Prison Break
Yes, the meltynauts, we put a lot on the Revival of Prison Break. A real phenomenon when it was broadcast on M6 seven years ago, we were convinced that the return of Michael and Lincoln would enchant you and make you want to vote for her. Like that, even a limited season is not guaranteed to please the greatest number. Will she have a chance to go further next year? Probably ! Last night, episode 3 of season 5 of Orphan Black was broadcast on BBC America. So it’s time to discover our review of “Beneath Her Heart” and the promotional video of episode 4!

Last week, in episode 2 of season 5 of Orphan Black, MK sacrificed himself. This tragic death was quite traumatic. Was episode 3 so shocking and emotional? What happened this week in “Beneath Her Heart” ? In these first two episodes, Sarah, Cosima, Rachel and MK had received all the attention, but Alison had been set aside, making himself very discreet. It is a beautiful tribute to this character because we know it is the ultimate season of the show. Nostalgia was present as well as emotion and we witnessed the strength of Miss Hendrix. In addition, there was no lack of humor and Donnie’s stage scene was remembered after drinking Alison’s mixture (medication + alcohol). Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast episode 13 of season 4 of The Originals. Then discover our review of “The Feast of All Sinners”, the final season!
For this last episode of season 4, The Originals decided to play the card of emotion rather than that of tension and suspense, and the least we can say is that it worked rather well. It was indeed necessary to leave the handkerchiefs several times and the end of the episode leaves us to wonder how will be able to function the season 5 because this final season had great airs of final series . Episode 13 of season 4 of The Originals begins while Vincent explains his plan to the Mikaelson: divide the Hollow into four and put each part in one of the Mikaelson because it requires powerful beings. Malcolm Merlyn
We tend to forget it but it was indeed the first Big Bad of the series. Determined to put the city back in order according to its own rules, he had killed Tommy unintentionally and caused an incredible number of casualties in Star City. But as time went by, he had managed to win a strange place in Team Arrow still landing at the right time to save the stake to Oliver . He ended up finding his redemption at the end of last season by sacrificing himself to save Thea. Iconic yes but maybe not the best villain!
Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke
It’s hard to compare to the giant Slade Wilson was in season 2. As ruthless as he was for revenge, he still killed Moira in front of Thea and Oliver. He is also behind some of the best episodes of the show. Especially since we must not forget that Slade was at first a friend of our hero and his betrayal was therefore only more painful . But the Season Finale allowed him to redeem himself. The opportunity to make us forget his mistakes?
Ra’s Al Ghul
Ra’s A Ghul showed his face only very late in the series but was determined to make Oliver his successor. A leader of the League of Assassins, he almost killed our hero in the middle of season 3 in a scene that is still particularly cult. Thanks to him, it is a whole other universe that we have learned to discover. But is he the best of the bad guys in our eyes? A little less frightening than expected, it could well have been surpassed by the others.
Damien Darhk
Brilliantly played by Neal McDonough, Damien Darhk was formidable in the fourth season of Arrow. The 100: Lexa, Lincoln, Maya … The characters we miss the most!

While Season 5 of The 100 will not be released until 2018, let’s go back to all those characters who have disappeared and we miss them terribly!
We miss them! Yes, the meltynauts, if we always knew that the apocalyptic series of the CW was going to have to separate from several of its characters, the pain was not relieved. It must be said that The 100 has the mad faculty to allow us to attach very quickly to his characters. And even after years, hard to recover from the loss of some of them . While Melty’s editor wondered how others would react to Madi in season 5 of The 100 , let’s get back to the characters in the series that we miss most since their death!
Lexa
Without doubt, the magnificent commander is the one that most misses the fans. Killed tragically in the middle of the third season, she had managed to make a huge place in the hearts of the fans of the show. It must be said that his character had been perfectly developed by Jason Rothenberg and that his relationship with Clarke was downright exciting . If we were very happy to see her again in the Season Finale of the third season, she deserved much better.

Appearing at the beginning of the third season, Roan had quickly taken an important place in the intrigues. A character as loyal as he was charismatic, there was still a fine dynamic between Clarke and himself . So we were very disappointed to see him die this season in the episode where the fighters of each clan clashed. We are confident that he still had many stories to tell.
Jasper
Jasper was first the sunbeam of the first two seasons. Full of humor and self-derision, the young man managed to make us smile even in the worst moments and there was in The 100 . But after Maya’s death, it was as if he had died out. Unable to overcome his disappearance, he knew how to touch us because it represented perfectly what may be a mourning in the real life. That does not mean that he will miss us a lot!
Wells
Yes, we are talking about a character who was murdered from the first episodes of the show but we remain convinced that it had enormous potential . Fully committed to Clarke, he was arrested so that he could follow her on earth before confessing that he was not responsible for his father’s death but that he was guilty of protecting the Clarke and his mother. He was not expected. Since the very first season of Teen Wolf, the attraction between the two characters was perceptible. Lucifer’s season 2 ended in apotheosis but with big questions for his fans. Here are three things we want to see in season 3 of the TV show!
The Season Final of Lucifer’s Season 2, of which here is our critic , left us speechless. Has Lucifer returned to Hell? Where is he in the last minutes of the show and especially, how did he recover his wings? If this episode was really intense, he left us a few unanswered questions. Moreover, throughout this season 2, Lucifer and Chloe have come closer to get away better. What will be the nature of their relationship in Lucifer’s Season 3? One thing is for sure, we are eager to discover the rest of the series but until the comeback, discover the 3 things we absolutely want to see in the next episodes!
1. The couple Chloe / Lucifer
The series focuses on the relationship between Chloe and Lucifer. Both characters play cat and mouse games since Lucifer’s season 1 . If in the second, they have come closer and revealed their respective feelings, the writers did not consider it good to put them together. They love each other, it shows, but it is never the right timing. Will Season 3 be placed under the sign of love between Lucifer and Chloe? We hope but nothing is safe!

Season 6 of Orange Is the New Black is still far from us, but we still offer you all the questions we ask since the end of season 5!
Once is not customary, the new season of Orange Is the New Black left us with a lot of questions and unfortunately the wait will be very long before we can have the answers. Beware, for those who have not yet finished season 5 of Orange Is the New Black , know that this article contains spoilers on the plot and especially on the final season. If you watched and finished the thirteen new episodes of the Netflix prison series, you will know that the last episode ended on a cliffhanger that still gives us chills. While the SWAT forcibly entered the prison and arrested one of the Litchfield inmates one by one – Piper, Alex, Blanca, Red, Taystee, Nicky, Suzanne, Black Cindy, Frieda, Gloria – is still hidden in the empty pool of the prison. What happens to the 10 inmates hidden in the pool?

Once Upon A Time
We start strong with the fantastic series of ABC which is a formidable opponent. Once Upon A Time won the first two editions of the Series World Cup before being spotted by Game of Thrones . This year it is back! The show refocused on its roots during season 6 but was not afraid to innovate when it was necessary. While Season 7 will be a huge bet for the show, can he also claim a third victory? It’s up to you!
Vikings
The series plunges us directly into the Viking age with remarkable decorations, a very realistic atmosphere and talented actors . Legends of Tomorrow
It’s the only DC Comics series in this group and it’s about going into legend by winning the 2017 World Cup. Yes, the meltynauts, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis were clear, the seventh season of Once Upon A Time looks very different from the previous ones and so it is without blinking that they separated from the majority of the actors. A new turn that the fans look forward to but which is also very mysterious . Indeed, very few indications are circulating about this new direction. While Melty’s editor explained why Zelena (Rebecca Mader) deserved better in Season 7 of Once Upon A Time , here are 5 questions we ask about the sequel!
1 / How will the departure of our favorite actors be explained?
It is no longer a secret for anyone, the new season of Once Upon A Time will dispense with the majority of the cast. Only Lana Parrilla (Regina), Colin O’Donoghue (Hook) and Robert Carlyle (Rumple) will be in the game. A disappointment for the fans of the first hour. Especially that Jennifer Morrison decided to leave of his own free will leaving the followers of the couple Captain Swan on the sidelines . 2 / Does the Captain Swan still have a chance to last?

The more time passes, the more we hope that Regina finally gets her happy ending. Agents of SHIELD – 4×15 “Self Control”
This fourth season of Agents of SHIELD proved to be a success from start to finish , with three fascinating arcs worn by agents always on top. But we must admit that the episode that won the palm is for us the 4×15 which closes the second part “LMD” and lays the foundations of the third: Agents of Hydra . Suspicions, clones and touching reunion, everything is there to show us the best of Agents of SHIELD.
The Walking Dead – 7×01 “The Day Will Come When You Will not Be”
Despite a season not constant, The Walking Dead has offered us very good episodes this year, including the premiere season. Obviously the shock was total after the death of Abraham then Glenn, but it is not only because of this that the episode has marked us . Not only did the season premiere of Season 7 feature a Negan as cruel and charismatic as expected, but it also revealed a side of Rick totally unknown up to now. From the performance of Andrew Lincoln to the grief of Maggie, many things make this episode a success.
Gray’s Anatomy – 13×24 “Rings of Fire”
The season of Gray’s Anatomy 13 proved a bit soft but it is in its last episodes the writers awoke. Rather than killing Stephanie whose actress was cast for another series, it was a heroic outing that was written to her, and what a release. An awesome fire, courage to resell and amazing wisdom, this has allowed Stephanie Edwards to leave the series worthily while offering us a final season memorable.
Big Little Lies – 1×07 “You Get What You Need”
Jean-Marc Vallée’s miniseries based on Liane Moriarty’s book was acclaimed, not only because of its 5-star cast. After an intensity that climbed crescendo throughout the season, the series ended on a magisterial final season that paid tribute to all her heroines . Brutality, passion and denouement have blended to offer us without a doubt one of the best episodes of 2017.
13 Reasons Why – 1×11 “Tape 6, Side A”
Certainly the 13 episodes of the series were heartbreaking, but it was probably episode 11 that was among the most anticipated and most feared at the same time. Clay’s cassette finally let us know that Hannah did not blame her, but the revelations that accompanied the episode were more than hard to digest . In short, an intense condensation of violence mingled with a touch of relief that earned him his place among the best episodes of 2016-17.
Orange is the New Black – 5×13 “Storm-y Weather”
Last episode of a successful season, “Storm-y Weather” showed us the offensive on Lichtfield to continue to highlight the violence of the forces even against peaceful detainees. After three days of revolt, the semi-freedom of all the prisoners ended in a brutal assault that resulted in a cliffhanger . The image of Piper, Alex, Tayster, Red, Gloria and the others in the pool, holding hands with the music of Cinematic Orchestra in the background was enough to make it one of the best episodes of the season. A few hours after the release of a new episode of season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead, discover our criticism of “100” and attention to spoilers.
Who says new week said new episode of Season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead and this is the episode 4, “100” , which was aired last night on AMC . As we suspected, the episode does not resume where the plot stopped last week but it is in the past of Daniel Salazar that we are plunged. From the flight of the villa of Celia to its survival in Tijuana, everything is shown us until its reunion with Victor Strand and even more . But contrary to what one might think, Daniel is not really the hero of the episode. Always tortured by his past and symbolic representative of all those who still bear the past sins in the apocalyptic world.
Self-proclaimed priest, Efrain and the few inhabitants who hide from Dante to enjoy his water once a week without his knowledge treat Daniel. Too much tormented by his sins, the latter will yet offer himself to an impressive infected during a storm but miracle, he is saved by divine intervention. Of all the deaths of walkers, one must admit that it is surely the most surprising since seeing an infected struck by lightning remains rather unusual … Fate however continues to guide the steps of Daniel who finds himself swept away and found by The men of Lola, close to Efrain, who had taken care of him and who is also part of the teams of Dante . His violent past allows him to rise to the top and Daniel remains faithful to himself and makes difficult decisions without blinking.
Tortured to the possible, Daniel lets think for a few minutes that it will definitely go the wrong side. His military background makes him an obedient soldier, but it is without counting his vital need for redemption. After being saved by Efrain, it is in turn to save him, as well as Lola and Victor, of certain death. The episode closes on forgiveness of Lola, an act that may help Daniel to finally put his past behind him to concentrate on the search for Ofelia that, contrary to what he thinks is alive – in Theory . The series offered us an interesting and well-focused episode. The ubiquitous Spanish contributes to the realism of history and plunges us directly into the roots of Daniel. His cleverly turned back deserved an episode to him as he remains one of the most fascinating characters in the series.
