In the first version of the Rogue One script, Darth Vader appeared only to kill one of the main characters at the end.
We told you recently on melty, Star Wars Rogue One could have had a completely different ending , with Jyn Erso and Cassian saved by the rebel ships before the Scarif planet explodes in the middle of small pieces! But our two heroes are not the only ones who could have had a completely different ending. Because in the original version of the script, Jyn Erso and Cassian are not the only ones to be saved. Director Krennic, played by Ben Mendelsohn , also has the right to his happy ending. Well almost. He actually succeeded in surviving and was drafted by the imperial forces. “He survived the explosion and brought him back to the Star of Death to bring him back to Darth Vader ,” said screenwriter Gary Whitta. “He is in a bad state, his cloak is torn and he thinks he has valiantly served the Emperor . ” But in reality, for Darth Vader, he has not at all succeeded in his mission since the plans of the Star of Death have managed to be stolen.

As the very first spin-off, Star Wars: Rogue One has more than managed his bet! Star Wars: Rogue One tells the stolen plans of the Black Star, but it’s not just that! It also fills some scenario holes of the saga remained without explanation.

But enough to allow the Alliance to detonate the Black Star. And that’s how this massive ” plot hole ” is a more than satisfactory resolution Rogue One !
The other problem that the spin-off responds also has a link with the Black Star. Or rather with the second Death Star . And all is a matter here of time and delay. Because remember, the construction of the first Empire station begins when Palpatine takes power, well twenty years before Star Wars: A New Hope. But in Return of the Jedi , one sees one second Death Star whose construction is already well advanced. But how did the Empire manage to build it so quickly – it is estimated that four years elapsed between the Battle of Yavin and that of Endor – when it took more than twenty years for the first ?
In fact, it may be that, if the Empire has taken so long to finish the first Death Star, it’s simply because … could not find a sufficiently powerful energy source to power its laser beam . Now this energy, as we know now, is produced by the kyber crystals. And as Cassian suggests when he evokes the plundering of the Temple of Jedha in a conversation with Jyn, it is not so long since the Empire is so interested in crystals. The third element that Star Wars: Rogue One is not really a problem. This is a huge nod fact fans, which however has the merit to justify a code name that one hears in Star Wars: A New Hope . Did you wonder why we were so interested in the Red 5 pilot, whose ship explodes under the fire of the TIE Hunters during the Battle of Scarif? Well, it’s simply because “Red 5″ reality becomes … the code name Luke in Episode IV when he joined the fleet of the Rebel Alliance . If he can take command of an X-Wing and integrate with the Red Squadron, it is also visibly because it has lost one of its pilots and the place is therefore free. In the same vein, we also know now why Luke squadron is called ” Rogue ” in The Empire against attack . Star Wars Rogue One: The Cameo of Wedge Antilles that you have not noticed!

And yes, the X-Wing Wedge Antilles pilot makes a cameo in Star Wars: Rogue One. But it is so short and unusual that you may not have noticed it!
Many are the characters of the saga to have made a small cameo in Star Wars: Rogue One ! But unlike Leia, C-3PO or the Grand Moff Tarkin, there is a character in the first trilogy who misses the call. Before embarking on their suicide mission, our Star Wars: Rogue One heroes have had a life. And two of them will be entitled to their prequel in the form of a novel!
It’s been a long time now that the saga Star Wars does not rest solely on its more movies! Books, video games and comics have unceasingly expanded his universe, evoking the past or the future of most characters, creating even more protagonists almost as famous today as Han or Luke. And Disney, having redeemed LucasFilm and all his properties, has of course taken the torch, throwing to the nettles the whole extended universe thought so far to create his own. Many scenes from Star Wars: Rogue One, seen in the trailers, were removed at the final editing of the film. And some are revealed today thanks to images!

It is not going to lie, before Star Wars: Rogue One does so in film and became one of the biggest financial success of 2016, the film gave us a cold sweat. K-2SO is the new droid of the Star Wars saga, introduced in Rogue One. So, between C-3PO, R2-D2 and him, which one is best? Warning, spoilers!
Ah, here’s a situation that should not please C-3PO! For a long time (decades actually), our favorite intergalactic diva and her little reckless constant companion, R2-D2 droids remained the only stars of Star Wars . And in just two years, two other robots have come to compete with them! First there was the adorable and mischievous BB-8, the mascot of the new trilogy. And then it’s K-2 SO (Alan Tudyk), who arrived from nowhere in Star Wars: Rogue One and, suddenly, makes them shade . For it must be admitted that the droid, with his way of saying without filter or make up what he thinks, did not take long to conquer us. So, R2 and 3PO, who still took the time to do a cameo in Star Wars: Rogue One , may have some reason to worry. If we do not go so far as to say that K-2SO completely steals the show (should not push anyway), the fact that it has some trumps that make it as cool as our other two droids stars.
It must be admitted, K-2SO is rather unique in its kind! If it is as pessimistic as 3PO – and that’s a feat in itself – and as brave as R2, it is above all … very sarcastic !
