The end date of post-production has been announced , indeed it is said that the event would serve as a perfect showcase for a second trailer of the film. Except that waiting for the Holy Grail, we will have to do with what we have. That is to say not much, the studios have not been very disinterested nor very quick to share anything on this Episode VIII since the broadcast of its first teaser trailer. Well, yes, there is a bit of bad faith. For we should not forget those images that made the front page of Vanity Fair, on which we found all our heroes in poses and costumes very sought after. These photos, Moreover, allowed us to learn some details about the planet Canto Bight and the characters embodied by Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern. And today, it’s another image related to these that the editor of melty offers to discover. Because, yes, good news, we have a little something to put in the tooth …
So here is Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill , dressed in costumes that are seen wearing on almost all the footage of the film that have been unveiled so far. They are evidently on the island of Skellig Michael, which serves as scenery to represent the planet Ahch-To . And what do they look serious! But the most interesting is obviously the fact that the image shows here the backstage of the film, with its team that is activated around the two actors. In fact, it was taken by Kathleen Kennedy herself , president of LucasFilm, just as Annie Leibovitz, the photographer of Vanity Fair, was busy doing her photo report for the magazine. Therefore, in itself, The image of Rey and Luke is not completely new but it allows us to have a new outline of our two characters. And in these times of sad scarcity, it is already not bad! Of course, it would have been fun to see the so-called creature of Ahch-To, whose design would have been unveiled on a concept art Star Wars: The Last Jedi realized by a fan. But it would have been much too much demanded! As a result, we will be satisfied with this new appearance of our heroes … and we keep crossing our fingers for a next trailer to make its way to us. What do you think ? Whose design would have been unveiled on a concept art Star Wars: The Last Jedi directed by a fan. But it would have been much too much demanded!

Thanks to Rian Johnson, we know when the post-production period for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will end. Good news, it will be well upstream of its release in theaters!
And so, the coming arrival to the cinema of Episode VIII is gradually approaching. Moreover, we, French fans, will clearly have a small advantage over our neighbors across the Atlantic and across the Channel, since we will have the opportunity to discover Star Wars: The Last Jedi before everyone else . But while waiting for this blessed day (December 13, remember the date!), The film is not finished yet. If the shooting has been finished for some time, Rian Johnson and his editors have plunged into post-production and plan to spend a few more weeks. However, the director and his collaborators should put an end to Star Wars: The Last Jedi well before its release. As you picture, the meltynauts, that Rian Johnson unveiled the end date of post-production of the film and that it is not so far from us! Recently invited to the Talk House Podcast, the director announced that it would end at the end of August . This leaves him still a little time to fine-tune his editing and special effects!
” If we stick to the program, we will have finished with the post-production in August and the movie will be released for Christmas ,” he said. Knowing that the post-production will end well before the arrival of the film in the dark rooms is also good news. Because it means that Rian Johnson will benefit from 4 months to make small adjustments if need be , without being no longer pressed for time. In the end, if this announcement is not a news worthy to sabrer champagne, it still gives us some small reasons to rejoice. We can indeed imagine that the TRUE promotional campaign will start in the next few weeks, only the recent teaser trailer of Star Wars.
The next trailer itself should land a little before the end of the post-production, probably during the month of July. It was not only during this period that the long awaited D23 , a convention held every two years and during which the Disney studios presented their future projects, but also the famous Comic Con of San Diego, would be held the following week. Two golden opportunities so to unveil the second trailer of the film . Unless, of course, the studios make us sip a little longer, just to make our impatience grow. And that’s not at all excluded! We cross the fingers to have a little more details about it in the next few days. What would you like to see in the next trailer?
The post Star Wars The Last Jedi: The end of the postproduction announced, a trailer for soon? first appeared on The Siver Times.

As a result, communication and exchanges between directors are absolutely essential. Rian Johnson, while he was writing the Star Wars script : The Last Jedi and that he included a Luke who surprised even Mark Hamill , for example asked JJ Abrams to change one or two elements of the Revival of The Force in order to prepare the way for an event that must occur in his film. And what Rian Johnson did for Episode VIII, Colin Trevorrow did it for his sequel , Star Wars 9 ! The director is still immersed in the realization of the scenario of the last opus of the trilogy and needs his predecessor to introduce some details in his own feature film so that he can use it to tell his own story. Or at least that’s what we get from Colin Trevorrow, who talked about it during his participation in the Happy Sad Confused podcast.
And here is what he has to say on this: ” There is a little trick. It’s not really a fit, I just asked him, ‘Could you turn that little thing over while You’re here today? “And he did, which is great .” At the same time, we do not see why Rian Johnson would have refused this favor to Colin Trevorrow. At melty, we would not be surprised to learn that this ” little thing more ” would have a link with Leia, since Carrie Fisher will not be present in Star Wars 9 . Perhaps Colin Trevorrow found a way to justify his absence gently and needed to add some elements in The Last Jedi ? In any case, the director took advantage of his intervention to recall that there is a real process of collaboration between the different teams and that the history of this new trilogy has not been fixed in the marble by big companies more concerned with Make money than offer an interesting narrative. He added: ” Actually, we are a small group of people … and none of us belong to the business world, we are all creators and we all sincerely want to do the work of our By making this film . “
The post Star Wars The Last Jedi: Another scene shot to make the link with Star Wars 9? first appeared on The Siver Times.

If you still do not know, Daisy Ridley (Rey) is here to let you know: Star Wars: The Last Jedi will stand out in a decidedly dark and disturbing tone!
And yes, once again, nothing goes in the galaxy. It is not because the Resistance inflicted a stinging defeat on the First Order by destroying its Starkiller Base in The Re-awakening of Force that things were abruptly arranged. On the contrary, since Snoke must now be particularly annoyed and determined to carry out violent retaliation against this group of insubordinate rebels. And then, it’s not Luke, retired on Ach-To and visibly plagued by a cruel existential crisis, which possesses the means to put a little order in there. No, it will probably be Rey’s task, which we saw training in the Star Wars teaser: The Last Jedi , Even though it may not completely embrace the Jedi’s path to find an in-between between light and darkness. In short, between Luke’s doubts and the desperate struggle of the Resistance, the film looks rather dark , in any case more than The Reveil of the Force , which finally only introduced the struggle against the First Order. And besides, Daisy Ridley, who lends his features to Rey, has a rather strong adjective to describe this Episode VIII .
In an episode of the Star Wars Show, the young actress said that the tone of the film was far more disturbing than Star Wars: The Revival of the Force . She thus teased: ” The tone is definitely more menacing, yes .”, Without obviously giving more details. As far as Melty is concerned, we are not surprised to hear him say that, his remarks joining those of Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) or John Boyega (Finn), who have already had the opportunity to declare That Star Wars: The Last Jedi took a darker path than the first opus of the trilogy . Fortunately, Daisy Ridley also took advantage of his small intervention to allude to Rey’s state of mind. ” We see her training a little and being a bit overwhelmed by all that . Anyway, the next adventures of Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron should be filled with emotion and will not fail to support where it is. Especially if, as Luke seems to want in the trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, they mark the end of the Jedi ! What do you expect from the movie? As Luke seems to like in the trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, they mark the end of the Jedi ! What do you expect from the film? As Luke seems to like in the trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, they mark the end of the Jedi ! During the month of April, the aficionados of the intergalactic saga created by George Lucas were able to enjoy themselves with the Star Wars Celebration . At this event, Lucas Film unveiled the trailer of Star Wars The Last Jedi ! A trailer that puts enormous power on the handover between the legendary Luke Skywalker and the young Rey . There are several characters seen in the seventh episode but especially Finn who had left the spectators badly in point. His interpreter, John Boyega, explained, “The injury is something that Finn has had to face. He’s in full recovery and will make his return in The Last Jedi . ” In short, the fans are already looking forward.
Disney, which owns Marvel Studio in addition to Lucas Film, took the opportunity to unveil a second trailer. And this trailer is the one that signs the return of the famous Nordic God: Thor. In Thor Ragnarok (including a major comic book character Planet Hulk will be played by the director) , the hero will face events that endanger the world of Asgard. For the occasion, the film will rely heavily on a shifted tone and 80 ‘adopted by its director Taïka Waititi . A fun side that can already be seen in a colorful and rhythmic trailer by Immigrant Song . Thor Ragnarok will be a new treat for the fans of Marvel before the release of Infinity War .
But April was also the month of the castings, in addition to that of the trailers. First, Jude Law was announced as the next Dumbledore in The Fantastic Animals . He will play the famous director of Hogwarts in his youth while the latter will face his enemy Grindelwald, played by Johnny Depp. An encounter that the Potterhead are eagerly anticipating and which will complete the mythology of the Harry Potter universe . A mythology already vast and imagined by JK Rowling, here screenwriter of the film planned for several episodes by Warner. Fans now only have a hurry : discover what Jude Law will look like in the shoes of the famous Dumbledore.
But this is not the only announcement about a cast as Josh Brolin will join the one of Deadpool 2, whose date of exit US was announced , in the role of Cable. It is the second character Marvel that the actor will play after Thanos who will be the great villain of the super-heroic meeting Infinity War . The choice of Josh Brolin is surely not insignificant since it will require the actor a great compatibility with Ryan Reynolds to enter this universe Marvel different from those produced by Disney . With this announcement, the Fox surprised many internet users: for several months the websites of the world announced the possibility to see several other actors get the role.
Let’s say it: Fast and Furious 8 was a great commercial success for Universal. One of the reasons for this success is obviously the presence of the colossus Dwayne Johnson and the Englishman Jason Statham. It’s simple: all the scenes between the characters were enjoyable and interspersed with big punchlines . It is not for nothing that Universal has planned a spin-off featuring this little duo that revealed itself in the eighth episode. Little information about this adventure without the “family” at the moment but one thing can be sure is that the chase races will be replaced by bare-hand action scenes. The domain of choice of the two men!
Between the trailer of the Last Jedi and Thor Ragnarok , the month of April was rather generous with the fans. The announcement of the cast of Jude Law in Dumbledore and Josh Brolin in Cable was also part of this month’s highlights as well as the announcement of the spin-off Fast and Furious 8 . Will the month of May be better? We give you an appointment in 30 days to discover it in the next Top Cinema ! And you, what was your Top Movie in April?
The post Thor Ragnarok, Star Wars The Last Jedi, Spin Off Fast and Furious 8 … The Top Ciné of the month of April! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Especially if you are hardcore fans of Star Wars! For the last few days have been punctuated by a deluge of announcements, news and … of trailers, including that of Star Wars: The Last Jedi , of course. And if only three days have passed since its release, we can already see the deciphering, the theories and analyzes of this teaser in the form of trailers already flourishing on the internet which, it must be admitted, is as mysterious as ‘exciting. The words of Luke Skywalker, in particular, which declares that the Jedi must disappear, intrigue particularly – even destabilize a little! But it is not the only element of the video to leave us perplexed. There is also this strange book, Which seems to rest in the huge cavern with the tarabiscoté design that one discovers a little before and whose cover is adorned with a strange symbol . And then we wonder about the nature of this book and what it has to do with the plot of the film. Is it to relate with the famous ” end of the Jedi ” evoked by Luke? Here, in any case, are some hypotheses that can be expressed about the object and its meaning.
And to try to guess what it can serve well, you have to start by looking at its cover, obviously. For the symbol engraved there is strikingly similar to that of the Jedi Order, which is more refined. What makes us think that this book is related, in one way or another, to the Jedi and the history of their Order. Moreover, one would imagine that it contained well ancient knowledge, dating from the time of the very first Jedi. After all, did not Luke go in search of the first Jedi Temple? He might have found this book, which would also explain the appearance of the symbol on its cover. Over time, it could have evolved to become the Jedi Order. What is certain is that to see its worn look, the book is very, very old! Sufficiently perhaps to hold forgotten information about the Force and the early Jedi teachings . As a result, Luke ‘s wish to see the Jedi disappear, as announced in the Star Wars trailer: The Last Jedi . Perhaps he discovered something that pushed him to question what he learned alongside Obi-Wan and Yoda.
But there is another hypothesis that can be emitted. For some, it could just as well be … the Journal des Whills ! If you’ve seen Star Wars: Rogue One , the name ” Whills ” should tell you something . In the mythology of the intergalactic saga, it refers to very ancient beings who would have had a very powerful connection with the Force, far more than that which unites them to the Jedi. As for the concept of the Journal of the Whills, it emerged at the very beginning of the creation of the universe of Star Wars , at the time when George Lucas intended to use it as an instrument to link the galaxy very, very distant and fictitious to our world real. It was supposed to contain the knowledge and knowledge of the Whills. And as these are mentioned through the characters of Chirrut and Baze in Star Wars: Rogue One , they might as well reappear in the films of the new trilogy. And why not, through this book? Of course, these are only hypotheses and ultimately its usefulness and significance may be quite different. Especially as the hand that sweeps the blanket does not look too much like Luke’s. In fact, if we observe it, it looks more like belonging to Maz Kanata, who gave us the impression of knowing a lot about the Force in Episode VII. What is certain, in any case, is that this book is not insignificant and that it will have an impact on the course of Rey in the continuation of the trilogy! In your opinion, what is this book about?
The post Star Wars The Last Jedi: What is the nature of the book in the trailer? first appeared on The Siver Times.

And it’s gone for weeks of speculation! When a movie like Star Wars: The Last Jedi is finally entitled to its first trailer , necessarily, it soon becomes a bit crazy. One tries to dissect the video, one tries to understand what a certain image, such a word may mean. And above all, we are on the lookout for the smallest hidden detail that could escape us and which would nevertheless have its importance. As a result, we have already scratched a little the surface of the trailer of this Episode VIII, noting the most important points, the most striking images. Among them, there is of course the image of Leia de dos, standing in front of a projection of the galaxy, that of the broken mask – which may or may not be the mask of Kylo Ren – and finally that of the mysterious book, The three succeeding one behind the other. As such, these three passages are important. But what they show intrigues us or fascinates us so much that we almost forget to listen . Because yes, we hear voices behind these images and they do not belong to anyone since they are very similar to those of Leia … and Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi !
The Cinema Blend site is one of the first to have picked up the words that our three characters utter. When Leia appears, the princess can be heard saying, ” Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi .” A little phrase that takes us back decades, when Leia was trying to get help from the reclusive Jedi on Tatooine. That makes us even more sad to learn that Carrie Fisher will not a priori not in Star Wars 9 . Then, it is the voice of the latter that is distinguished at the moment when one sees the broken mask. Obi-Wan, played at the time by Alec Guinness, murmurs in effect: ” He was seduced by the power of the dark side .” A reference therefore to Dark Vador, his former Padawan, Which swung into the darkness . And finally, as the strange cave in which the mysterious book appears, Yoda manifests itself, declaring: ” She surrounds us and connects us .” A phrase he used years ago to talk about the Force to Luke . Three small references so that are probably not innocuous! The voices of Yoda and Obi-Wan were already heard in Star Wars: The Revival of the Force and, looking at the trailer of Episode VIII, it is said that it could do the same. The rumor circulating that Frank Oz could have resumed the role of Yoda in Star Wars: The Last Jedi , it is hoped that the two characters will manifest themselves in one way or another in the film!
The post Star Wars The Last Jedi: Yoda and Obi-Wan in the Trailer first appeared on The Siver Times.

Already because he was so hungry that he soon became crazy when he learned that he would land during the Star Wars Celebration. Then because it was announced in great pomp before we put our eyes full with lightsaber lights that illuminate and ships exploding. And then, above all, there is Luke, whose voice you FINALLY heard! After appearing only two minutes in Star Wars: The Reveil of Force , where he remained terribly mute, now our Jedi dares to utter a few words. And what words! To say that they left us as puzzled as they were intrigued – even shocked, For some – are euphemistic. As he speaks to Rey, he says at the end of the trailer: ” It’s time for the Jedi to disappear .” Uh …, wait, WHAT ?! What does that mean, exactly? Why would Luke come up with this kind of talk, he who followed the teachings of the Jedi and even tried to reform the Jedi Order? As they nevertheless deserve to be asked, Melty ‘s draft deals with these issues a little. Exactly? Why would Luke come up with this kind of talk, he who followed the teachings of the Jedi and even tried to reform the Jedi Order? As they nevertheless deserve to be asked, Melty ‘s draft deals with these issues a little. Exactly? Why would Luke come up with this kind of talk, he who followed the teachings of the Jedi and even tried to reform the Jedi Order? As they nevertheless deserve to be asked, Melty ‘s draft deals with these issues a little.
What is certain is that Rian Johnson did not joke when he decided to titled this Episode VIII ” The Last Jedi “. By discovering this title, it was evidently said that it smelled bad enough for the Jedi and that these were probably condemned to disappear, definitively this time. So, hearing Luke evoking the end of the Jedi only confirms our fears. But what could have driven our hero to reject what he believed for years? One can imagine that Ben’s betrayal and the death of his apprentices have dealt a terrible blow to his faith . Besides, one would almost come to believe that Luke could regret to have become a Jedi in Star Wars: The Last Jedi . However, Other reasons could also explain his renunciation. We know that he went into exile on Ahch-To, apparently in search of the first Jedi temple. And who knows if he did not discover during his investigations something that forced him to question his beliefs? After all, the Jedi have now existed for thousands of years and nothing tells us that their teachings have not, in time, been removed from the philosophy of the very first Jedi. Perhaps Luke understood that these, as they have been during past centuries past, are no longer able to maintain order in the galaxy. But, and there is also the question, does he really want the Jedi to disappear completely ? We know that he went into exile on Ahch-To, apparently in search of the first Jedi temple. But, and there is also the question, does he really want the Jedi to disappear completely ? And who knows if he did not discover during his investigations something that forced him to question his beliefs? Because, as we mentioned when we deciphered the trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi , Rey uses a term that made us listen. And this term is ” balance “. From here to say that she wants to speak here of the balance between light and darkness, there is only one step that one would like to cross lightly! Especially since the poster of the film that was unveiled at the Star Wars Celebration, where Rey wields a light saber that goes from blue to red, tends to express the same idea. Then it could be that Luke wants the end of the Jedi only to give birth to a new form of use of the Force. A use that would draw as much in its luminous side as in its dark side and which would thus reach the balance, precisely, between the two . And in this case, the Jedi philosophy as it was carried by Obi-Wan, Yoda or even Mace Windu would actually disappear. In any case, Rey follows a completely new form of training (quite rough, by the way) and that the way she uses the Force afterwards will be very different from that of her mentor! Anyway, the trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi is likely to sink a lot of ink in the weeks to come. What do you think of Luke’s words? The Jedi philosophy such as it was carried by Obi-Wan, Yoda or even Mace Windu would actually disappear.
