Knowing that we’ve already seen them, eh. One only wants to go back hours, with their characters and their delusions. In binge watching mode.
We are ready to pass on the outfits and haircuts, sign that we really like them. Because we are not going to lie either, it was a bit lollipop sometimes the 90s. But at least the guys were creative, inventing things. Whether it’s music (hip-hop, grunge), cinema (special effects), in our life (internet): quite a few devolutions took place in the 90’s. Here we focus on the best series, the ones we would look at again from beginning to end if they were to go back (completely and in the right direction, eh, not like the police series on TF1 at random) on TV or on Netflix.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
According to the credits that sends pate, she is the “elected” of her generation, she “will face the vampires, demons and force of the evil”. Aloooors, what are you gonna do? Yeah, you can get carried away when you’re a kid, deep inside. Today, we would be calmer, of course. But Buffy Summers, the high school girl who defies the vampires, and this series where we had a perfect mix : action, horror, comedy, romance, and even a fighting hair in martial arts mode.

No feint, no false suspense. It is a direct balance, and everyone understands why. How do you dodge the series we grew up with? While Ross, Chandler, Joey, Monica, Rachel and Phoebe were doing the same, in Manhattan? A sitcom like we love them, funny, lively, which makes us spend a good time. 10 seasons? We all know people who have trouble spending their money, trying instead to keep it for themselves. But not at that point anyway.

Better Call Saul is full of references to Breaking Bad, and we kiffe

While awaiting the arrival of the 3rd season of the prequel, centered on the invaluable advocate, we compiled the easter eggs honoring the original series.
Knowing that a link existed between the two series is obvious. Already, basic, you know. That’s all. Then, the universe, the sets, the plans: you find plenty of things. Also characters, including future lawyer “Saul Goodman” or Mike. And it’s not over ! The first two seasons of the prequel are filled with references to her creator, the Breaking Bad series. Here are some easter eggs.
Jimmy bump into a Cinnabon

Some things seem to deserve more attention and recognition, it starts with a good feeling. This is the case for these series.
For once it’s in the positive sense, it’s still better. Because generally, we leave more room for debate on the side stuff (players, movies, groups, games, etc.), so to the negative. Here we will be in positive criticism! And we will limit ourselves to the series of the last decade, otherwise we have not left the hostel (Spanish, or whatever you want).
The disastrous adventures of orphans Baudelaire
An original series launched on Netflix which despite the good reviews did not find its audience. A childish side with dances and songs, allowing Neil Patrick Harris to shine , and another very adult by his black and sarcastic humor. Too bad because it is really stylish. Suddenly, everyone spoke of “Stranger Things” and other series. But if you have time, try it, it’s the beauty of streaming: it’s available when you’re hot.
The Ricky Gervais Show
Basically it was a podcast and not just any one: one of the most popular. Then HBO wanted to adapt it in series, in animation mode. An original direction and a rather convincing result, giving a cartoon with punchlines of egg and crazy situations . Often when Stephen and Ricky handle Karl! Basically, dead people come back to life, and go back to their lives before as if nothing had happened. Because they did not realize they were dead, actually … A very “rational” and psychological delirium that changes other zombie series where blood and gore prevail . There you cogitate and you anxiously. Still.
Love
A creation that one owes to Judd Appatow, best known for his films now, while he is the author of a few series mine of nothing. Alas all a little depreciated, like “Freaks and Geeks” or the latest in date, “Love”. Exploring the world of modern romance, with humor and intelligence , analyzing it and making it live without falling into easy criticism, the series shows us two endearing characters, Mickey and Gus. Which form a couple that one likes to look at and see evolve.
The Americans
Quality at all levels. Actors, plot, sets and costumes, photography … Really good work and a series that should be a reference at the moment. Located in the 1980s, the story shows two Russian spies sent to the United States to glean information and refer all this to the mother country . Under cover obviously, in normal and well-integrated American mode. More than thirteen episodes and the series will come to an end. One moment that the fans wait and dread at once! Like the possibility of a good rotten end.
It was on Reddit that the delirium took place. A guy (Shaylw) asked the question: “What is the worst way they could end the series?” And there, they are several fans to have swung their worst apprehensions, ending crappy and frustrating goods. Not to say annoying! It’s gone, selection of the best of the worst.
The blow of “in fact nothing happened”
– Bran wakes up and realizes that everything we saw was only his dream, since his fall from the tower
– Davos Mervault was only reading a book
– Bran uses her powers to tell her father, in the past, not to go with Robert. His father listens to him, and so nothing happens.
What end for Jon and “Dany”?

Logically, the whole story before has been thought, narrated, to come to this conclusion. So when it stinks, you’re rather disappointed.
“The important thing is not the fall, it’s the landing” , as this phrase says in “La Haine”. As for these TV series, the landing proved to be catastrophic. In the sense that you have the unpleasant impression that he was not well prepared, anticipated, “that one had to finish in a way then hop one sways that and it is good” … No. Unfortunately, this is not good. Not here.
Weeds
Written by Jenji Kohan (also behind “Orange is the new black”), the series detonated and cardboard. The Sopranos
Typical debates and criticism that causes an open end. Some like, others hate. Here, in the end, we see Tony in a very banal restaurant, with his family.
