The 100: Back to square one, our record of season 4

A few days after the broadcast of the season 4 of The 100, we propose to you to take stock of the intrigues and what has been retained.
After the last episode of the season and before discovering season 5 of The 100 whose first details have already been unveiled , it is time to return on season 4 to take stock. We invite you to share in the comments what you thought of these 13 episodes and what you remember. Obviously, watch out for spoilers if you have not seen all the episodes of the season. On our side, the overall opinion is rather satisfactory since Season 4 proved full of surprises and turnarounds. It can be considered that in the final minutes of the final season, the loop is closed: some 100 go up towards the Ark, Clarke is the Grounder and new prisoners are preparing to arrive on Earth .
But beyond this mixed end, Season 4 offered us very good episodes, including “Die All, Die Merrily” in which the 13 clans clashed in a conclave as bloody as exciting. By playing Octavia’s questions about his clan membership, the series has been consistent with his past while developing his character. The series seems to have repaired some of its mistakes by focusing a little more on the characters and making their development the starting point of intrigues rather than the reverse . We really appreciated the presence always marked of Roan, charismatic character and attaching in spite of its ambiguous role. And season 4 finally gave us a worthy redemption for Bellamy. Although more progressive and less forced than in season 3, the return of the young man on the right track was pleasant to see. Finally, we appreciated the inevitable questions raised by the behavior of Clarke whose moral has been somewhat undermined in some episodes – although it did not last long.
Obviously as in all series, The 100 also had its flaws, including the repetition of his overall plot. An apocalyptic threat, a return to space, experiences on the Grounders to survive, a life-saving bunker . So many elements already seen reused in this season and which have somewhat spoiled the innovative aspect of the series. We also regret the countless catastrophes that constantly fall on the characters without giving them a moment’s respite. This frenzied rhythm is undoubtedly necessary in view of the number of episodes per season, the needs of the plot and the universe of the series. But “pauses” Would allow characters and fans to breathe a little while discovering new facets of the characters to build more deeply their personalities and the dynamics that have developed between them. In short, it is a nice season that the writers have offered us and while waiting to see the continuation, discover which character was promoted regular for season 5 of The 100 ! The 100 season 4: Episode 13, the ultimate fight for survival, our critic of the Season Finale!

While Episode 13 of Season 4 of The 100 has just been released on the CW, let’s get back together on the events that marked the Season Finale!
A mysterious final! Yes, the meltynauts, the end of the world finally ended up hitting the earth, forcing our heroes to make immense sacrifices to ensure their survival. Between a bunker that will have to put all its differences aside to cohabit and a rocket that has not retreated in front of anything to do the impossible, “Praimfaya” proved well built and terribly mysterious. While Melty’s editor suggested that you discover our criticism of episode 12 of season 4 of The 100 , let’s go back in detail to the highlights of the Season Final broadcast last night on the CW . And the least that can be said is that Octavia became the leader of the reunited clans . An incredible evolution for his character who went from incarnated carelessness to a responsible woman and capable of bringing a unity that neither Clarke nor Bellamy had managed to breathe. Accompanied by Indra, the young woman should be both fair and strict in order to allow everyone to live happily in the bunker. By deciding to kill some of the Saviors in a terrifying episode, the guy made a choice that the Governor could have made. Not sure that this comparison is flattering!
Marcel Gerard (The Originals)
Marcel has a particularly moving story and he has been a faithful Mikaelson for so long that we have always been disappointed with the lack of recognition of these. And what was to happen happened. After the deaths of Cami and Davina, Marcel understood that no one could enter this family much too tight . And while we had known him calm, nice and funny, he became angry, bitter and sad about the CW . Our hero has embraced the forces of evil but it is not Klaus who will be able to throw the first stone at him.
Barry Allen (The Flash)
If you’ve seen the last episode of The Flash, you know that Savitar’s identity has finally been revealed and that the Big Bad of the new season is none other than the Flash of the Future. Our Barry Allen, so gentle, so kind and so generous, ended by embracing the darkness and killing the woman of her life. If you follow all the Arrowverse series, you know that the beautiful Sara Lance is already dead twice before becoming one of the main characters of Legends of Tomorrow. One day before the release of a new episode of season 4 of The 100, one returns to the intrigue of the series and some of its repetitive aspects.
There are only a few hours before the release of a new episode of Season 4 of The 100 and then you announced that there is little that the series was renewed for season 5 , we propose today to To return to the plots of the series and especially to the nuclear apocalypse. As usual, do not hesitate to share your opinions in the comments and know that we are only here to launch the debate without pretending to have an absolute answer. In short, we would have liked the catastrophe to wait a bit to see the characters blow a blow, to reposition themselves as 13th clan with the other Grounders and to find their place among the inhabitants of the Earth rather than this race against the perpetual watch that Offers us diagrams seen and reviewed: danger, difficult choice, sacrifice.
Who says identical situations says identical reactions for the characters who have therefore very little possibility to evolve or to show us other facets since they are always confronted with the same things. Clarke never has time to relax and always take the hard decisions for everyone, it is the same for Bellamy who alternates between misdeeds and redemption season two from the start , Octavia is perpetually angry or Still Raven who is only suffering. The 100 season 4: Episode 1, The Skaikru desperately tries to survive, our critic!

While episode 1 of season 4 of The 100 has just been broadcast on the CW, back on the main events that have marked “Echoes”!
Here we go again ! And yes meltynautes after months of absence, the series of Jason Rothenberg finally made his comeback on the CW . We will not lie, the apocalyptic show we had terribly missed. Between treason, reversal of situation and terrifying revelations, the Season Premiere has made strong and plunges us into what will certainly be the most deadly season of the series. While the editorial ‘of melty proposing you to discover if you were ready for Season 4 of The 100 , back in detail on the main events that marked “Echoes” aired last night. And the least we can say is that Polis is completely decimated by the last fight between the members of the City of Light and our heroes. And while Clarke and Bellamy fail to celebrate their victory as the threat of the end of the world weighs on their shoulders, the last survivors turn against the young woman. In their eyes, she is the only one responsible for all the dead that they must cry. So no time for Clarke to begin to construct a plan to save the Earth already need him save his clan . Fortunately, Monty stops her in time and Raven’s revelations seem to make her want to savor every moment. Will this be enough to convince him that life is still worth living? Finally, Murphy decided to escape with Emori so much the danger seemed inevitable alongside his friends. Hopefully their separation will not last too long. Indeed, Murphy is clearly the comic element of the series and we loved her “Glad to see you make you friends” launched Jaha when a grieving mother spat upon. Its spread is one of the strengths of The 100. In short, “Echoes” had everything to seduce us. Exciting and scary, this episode brought together all the ingredients that make the success of the series . All the characters must face their responsibilities and prepare to have to stop the inevitable. Can Clarke and Bellamy really save the world before it’s too late? Will Raven have a brilliant idea that will at least slow down the effects of radiation? Are all our characters condemned to die? One thing is certain, the show did not finish surprising us and despite months of absence, tension was omnipresent. Oh, love ! And yes the meltynauts, if you are unconditional fans of series, you know that the action conjugates regularly with the romance in the world of the small screen. And if some live love stories simply epic, other characters desperately waiting for their turn . By the end of 2016, we wanted to think of them and to wish them that 2017 finally brings them a dose of bliss not negligible in this universe sometimes difficult to understand. While the editorial ‘of melty proposed to discover the gifts we would give our hero series , back on all these characters who deserve to meet true love:
Stiles (Teen Wolf)
As touching as awkward, the young man has squarely become the soul of Teen Wolf. Monty (The 100)
The 100 can be very cruel with his characters but if there is one who has never cracked and has always stayed on the right side, it is Monty. Always lovely, considerate, sensitive and with a mind which can not be qu’admiratifs Monty deserves to live happily until the end of time alongside the pretty Harper . Unfortunately, we must not forget too quickly that the show will focus on violent Apocalypse on 1 February on the CW and that other characters will die. Let’s hope Monty survives!
Kara (Supergirl)
She is beautiful, kind, funny and she always has a smile. Our Kara Danvers is a true ray of sunshine. However, she has not found one on whom she could rely when she had low morale and we look forward to change that . Not so much fan of the couple that she could have formed with James, we would be more excited about a story with Mon-El (Chris Wood) as there is something passionate about them. But then, will the well-hidden secret of Mon-El put a brake on their relationship? Whatever happens to them, Supergirl deserves to feel his heart vibrate.
Matt (The Vampire Diaries)
Last human of Mystic Falls, Matt never had a chance in love and still today, we think that he could never forget Elena with whom it was clear to him to spend his life. While he had finally found someone who truly loved with Penny, that their story ended tragically . With the end of the series approaching, we wish wholeheartedly that Julie Plec is lenient and offers him a semblance of balance and affection. With all that he has lived, Matt deserves to find great love and be happy for eternity. Pending more information, remember that season 7 of The Vampire Diaries landed in France .
