Godzilla 2: A cult actor from Game of Thrones joins the casting

Godzilla is well on the way to return in a second film! And the cast of it has just expanded with the arrival of a famous actor of Game of Thrones.
After sowing a monster chaos (without any pun intended) by confronting the MUTO in the film of Gareth Edwards in 2014, Godzilla left again to hibernate, quiet, in the depths of the seas. This does not mean that it will not surface in the years to come, quite the contrary ! As you can see from the post-generic scene of Kong: Skull Island , other monsters will appear and Godzilla intends to be a part of it again. He will return in 2019 in Godzilla 2 , a film on which we have so far almost no information except with regard to … his casting, which continues to grow. One should expect the return of certain characters like Ishiro Serizawa (Ken Watanabe), But new protagonists will also be added to the list of the distribution of the film. Game of Thrones Season 8: 3 major intrigues that will surely not be seen before the end of the series!

A few months before the release of Season 7 of Game of Thrones, back on major intrigues of books that we will probably never see …
Time passes and slowly but surely brings us closer to the last Game of Thrones season in which we wondered if Daenerys would die to make a prophecy . But before knowing who will not survive the series, we are interested in intrigues and differences with the books of George RR Martin . Watch out for possible spoilers in the sequel. It is known that the adaptation of such a work is complicated and that it necessarily implies some sacrifices with in particular the disappearance of certain intrigues yet crucial in the books . We propose you a little return on three stories that we will probably never see in the series since it remains – theoretically – only 13 episodes.
Lady Stoneheart
This is not the first time we’ve talked about it, and it’s probably not the last one either. As readers know, Catelyn Stark was not supposed to disappear after the Red Wedding. In the books the Purple Nuptials marked the rebirth of Ned’s wife as Lady Stoneheart / Lady Heart of Stone, whose ultimate goal is to avenge the death of her son Robb Stark . However, after several seasons in which hope continued, Catelyn was not to come back from the dead to take the lead of the Brotherhood and hunt down all those who had been involved in the Red Wedding, And that’s a shame. Although this plot does not really affect the other major arcs of the series – and that’s probably why it was cut – Lady Stoneheart remains a key figure that we would have liked to see interacting with Brienne.

Aegon VI Targaryen
The series gave no indication that it was going to introduce it, but in the books it is there, the other heir of the Targaryen. Son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell, Aegon reappears when everyone believes him dead, killed by Gregor Clegane during the arrival of the Lannister at King’s Landing . In A Dance with Dragons , we learn that Varys would have exchanged Aegon for another baby before he was killed. The heir of the Targaryen would have been brought up and educated, notably by Jon Connington, before crossing the road to Tyrion Lannister years later and explain to him that he intends to marry Daenerys and take back the Throne Iron with her. A story that promises to be fascinating to follow in books and that will probably not have the pleasure to see adapted to the screen.
Arianne Martell
The third intrigue that we will miss is obviously that of Dorne, cruelly shortened and much less interesting than it should have been. Doranne Martell’s eldest daughter, Arianne is, according to the customs of Dorne, the heiress of Sunspeart and the future princess of Dorne . Yet his story was more or less distributed to the Sand Snakes with their betrayal of Doran and their attempt to take revenge on the Lannister. In books, Arianne wants Myrcella to insist on sitting on the Iron Throne rather than her younger brother Tommen and her plans are thwarted by her father. As we have seen in the series, the death of almost all the Martells as well as that of Myrcella Baratheon makes the adaptation of this intrigue very improbable, and with it that of Gerold Dayne.
That closes our little list of intrigues that we would have liked to see in the series but which will probably never be there. Some have been more or less integrated to different degrees but this does not prevent us from having some regrets. Yet we imagine the difficulty of adapting such a saga and overall it is still an epic series that Dan Weiss and David Benioff offer us every year . Until we know what will happen next, we wondered if at the end of Game of Throne, the White Walkers would win because of Bran Stark. Game of Thrones season 8: What if SPOILERS were actually the real Targaryen?

A few months before the release of Season 7 of Game of Thrones, new theories about the end of the series raise several questions …
Season 7 of Game of Thrones has not yet begun to be questioned on Season 8, including the fact that it has not yet been officially renewed by HBO . But in any case it will be necessary to continue to wait until this summer to know more and as usual, melty helps you to wait a little with today some theories. It is to the twins Lannister that we will be interested because Cersei and Jaime are also at the center of fan speculation, especially on Reddit. Many know the theory that Tyrion Lannister would in fact be a Targary, born of a link between Joanna Lannister and Aerys Targaryen. But another less obvious and much more original theory would contradict this one to designate two other Targaryen: Cersei and Jaime . While keeping in mind that these are only suppositions, we could still find some clues that would justify them.
Let’s start with Tywin Lannister’s hatred of his son Tyrion. This could be explained by the fact that he would not actually be his real son, of course, but not only. What if Tywin hated Tyrion because he was his only legitimate and shameful son? If Jaime and Cersei were not his real children, one would also understand his continuous efforts to control their lives and make sure that nothing suggests that they are not from him. In addition the twins have both characteristics commonly attributed to the Targaryen: their inclination for incest – it is common knowledge that the Targaryen married each other – and for madness . After all, we have already wondered if Cersei would be the Mad Queen of Westeros in season 7 of Game of Thrones following his coup de theater at the end of season 6 during which it blew up the Greek fire under King’s Landing to kill all its enemies. Greek fire stored by the Mad King Aerys II …
Finally, this theory could also take its source in what is said about the Targaryen: that half of them are mad and that when a Targaryen is born, the Gods tip to decide whether it will be someone, A crazy or someone great. Now we could consider Cersei and Jaime as two faces of the same coin, one relatively good and one that has accomplished great things – good or bad – and the other that seems ready to sink gradually into Madness and paranoia, like King Aerys . This theory has some flaws, such as the twins’ birth, but the least we can say is that it would have been interesting for it to be true, both for the rest of the series and for Books but also for what it would imply for the Lannister’s global history.
