Be wary of appearances as who would say the other …
“The death of a man is a tragedy. The death of a million men is a statistic . ” I see this cynical and dark quotation from Stalin to justify the fact that we close our eyes to the crimes of these guys . Ok, we do not make omelets without breaking eggs, but we can not ignore the kills of these so-called heroes. I accuse !
Dominic Toretto and Paul Walker (Fast Furious)
With the mess they put on the road each time, Dom and Paulo should not only risk the license suspension, but also the lethal injection into a rotten jail in the United States. In return for all the innocent killed on their passage in the bottom of 6th. Just take the example of the Rio case in “Fast Five” . The duo returns the entire Brazilian city with a chest attached to the back of their crates, multiplying the pileup, especially with the cops, most of whom were doing their job . Shame on you guys!
Neo (Matrix)
He is the Chosen One, the one who must free humans from the yoke of machines … Yeah, yeah, stop your propaganda Morpheus. Your champion proved to us in “Matrix Reloaded” that he was more interested in the fate of his beautiful Trinity than that of men . I’m talking about the scene where he steals to his rescue at the speed of light, breaking through the windows of the buildings. There is a good chance that a lot of innocent people have lost an eye or life in this case. And as explained by Morpheus in the 1st episode: if you die in the womb, you die in the real life …
Professor X (X-Men 2)
Again, the spiritual father of mutants is not all clean, clean. The most badass bald on the planet (after Zizou) has blood on his hands since X-Men 2 . Okay, his mind was duped by the illusions of Jason Stryker, but he still gratified us with a beautiful genocide : first by spotting the mutants via Cerebro to whom he then spun a headache, deadly for some . And when Magneto took control of his poto Xavier, it was the humans who tasted. #QueDuSale
Danny Ocean and his crew (Ocean’s Eleven)
They have class, steer casinos sapés like jaja … in short, Danny Ocean and its flock send of the dream. But also people at the morgue. And not a little. If you remember the first film, Basher Tarr (Don Cheadle) has an unstoppable technique to bypass the security of the Bellagio: an EMP. In other words, a magnetic pulse that will paralyze all electrical systems in Las Vegas. But what the guy failed to mention is that it is not without consequences for the population . For example, the EMP has the power to dysfunction pacemakers, not to mention all road accidents caused by the absence of fires. Shame on you!
Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori (Pacific Rim)
“And do not let anything remain of this city, I want no witness”
Either the doublet of the Gipsy Danger tapped as not possible to put the kaiju Otachi out of harm’s way. But as a result of the races, the city of Hong Kong was fired and bleeding during the fight. With thousands (millions?) Of collateral victims , even the guys who were charging in the oil tanker used by the giant robot like a baseball bat. Negan loves it.
President Thomas J. Whitmore (Independence Day)
Before finding the miracle solution to penetrate the alien spacecraft to implant a virus disabling their defenses, President Thomas J. Whitmore made a decision full of consequences: he rocked OKLM a nuclear bomb on the ship that overlooked the megalopolis Of Houston (more than 2 million inhabitants) . Without success as the shield repelled the attack. On the other hand, the population has gained pretty good radiation for the decades to come. Friendly.
Bruce Nolan (Bruce Almighty)
Decked out of the powers of God, Bruce finds nothing better to regain the heart of his girlfriend (Jennifer Aniston) than to offer her big boobs and a big moon. In the first case, no one complained to me. While for the second gift, even if it’s super romantic, changing the position or size of the Moon has disastrous effects on the planet, as the satellite directly influences the tides . “Bruce kill me , ” Olivier de Kersauson.
Elsa (The Snow Queen)
Under her victim’s airs, little Elsa has also done dirty. Obliged to flee because of her powers, the Queen plunged (involuntarily) the Kingdom of Arendelle into an icy winter . How many homeless and children in the ditch have died in atrocious suffering because of his crap eh? The French want to know!
The post They pretend to be heroes when they have stumbled a bunch of innocent people first appeared on The Siver Times.

In spite of this opus which can sign the end of a franchise without one of these figures stars, Vin Diesel has still wanted to play in Fast and Furious 8 (whose film soundtrack was finally unveiled!) . The latter returned to Total Film on his former comrade but also how “this film must be great for Paul Walker” . The two actors had become very friendly from the first opus and had shared the plates for almost ten years!
Vin Diesel explained “The question was not whether this film could be made without Paul but if the franchise could survive without it.” I had seen a video of him promising eight episodes and yet he was seven. Do I stopped thinking about him over time? it was the only question. Every day I was like “this film has to be great for Paul Walker” . Fast and Furious 8, whose first impressive international poster was revealed, should be the episode that the deceased actor wanted . Casting, most actors of previous episodes but also a huge international star who should boost the entries: Charlize Theron !What do you think of this interview?
The post Fast and Furious 8: Vin Diesel “This film must be great for Paul Walker” first appeared on The Siver Times.

It should not be reduced to his grimaces in “Ace Ventura” or “Dumb and Dumber”, the Canadian has a much wider palette. Tribute.
Many of us have grown up with him and have lasting memories. It was clearly tapped bars by him, in the 90s. And still today, as soon as “The Mask” goes back for example. Then a few years later, Jim Carrey wanted to show that he knew how to do something else: to move. In more serious, touching roles, he bluffed and proved his talent. Back on these films where the native of Ontario surprised us. Why today? I almost forgot: Mr. celebrates its 55 pins . So it deserves a little attention. And I announce, I do not balance precisely the end of the films but spoile them well anyway. At the same time, you had 10/15 years to see them eh.
The Truman Show
The concept was then out of the ordinary: we followed the life of a star star of a reality TV without his knowledge. A bit like Virenque but still different. The man played by Jim Carrey is called Truman Burbank and spent absolutely all his life on an enormous film set, where all the other people around him are actually actors. When he begins to doubt, he asks questions, tries to find out more. Manipulated, betrayed, you share his horror and you want to chill. And hop, a Golden Globe of best actor in a dramatic film, in 1999.
Man on the moon
Biopic on the life of Andy Kaufman, a New York comedian who explained practicing anti-humor. Basically, the guy was constantly in the absurd, was trying to play with the minds of people, setting up an embarrassing atmosphere. He would have made a card Malaise TV . Completely perched, her whole life was dedicated to surprise people (crying on stage before securing), to organize cumbersome or crazy stuff like wrestling matches against women. A young death of cancer, his fans believed in an umpteenth stage. A strange and sad life. And hop, a second Golden Globe of better actor, in 2000.
Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
Thanks WHO ? Thank you, Michel. And yes, we owe this film to the French director Michel Gondry, and a unique role devolved to Jim Carrey: that of Joel Barish. Man reserved, to the life shy to die and logically a depressive hair, he meets by chance the delicate Clementine. The opposites attract themselves, they put themselves together and live a mad love. Until the day when Clecle is fed up and realizes that she is actually shit. Neither one nor two, she has Joel erased from his memories at the clinic Lacuna. What makes the poor Joel / Jim when she did not recognize the day of Valentine’s Day … He’ll do the same to move on, before changing his mind. Again, tears are not far away. Motherfucker. And hop, a 5th nomination to the Golden Globes (as well as BAFTA).
I love you Phillip Morris
A small independent film that did not make much noise, despite its unique story, inspired by the life of Steven Jay Russell. Basically, Steven leads a peaceful and classical life, work, wife, children … Then the discovery that his parents are not really his will go upset. He finds his real mother, who rejects him, then made his coming out and ends up in jail for various scams . And he will never stop, coming in and out of prison without stop, only guided by his transi love towards Phillip Morris. A complicated and overwhelming love.
The number 23
It is the story of a guy who receives a book as a gift, by his wife Agatha. And then Walter fucks a bolt. He devoured the book, the investigation of a man named Fingerling on the number 23, then resumed it to his account. Completely obsessed, Walter Sparrow sees his life connected and influenced by this number . Notably the name of a dog, Ned (and yeah, in the alphabet N = 14, E = 5, D = 4). In short, it starts in spin and Walter makes freak. Which one is your favorite in these movies?
The post More than a clown, Jim Carrey is a true actor of talent first appeared on The Siver Times.

“It’s not a question of means” , as so aptly Gérard Darmon (aka Amonbofils) in “Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra”. And we will give it right here by presenting you the best cinema museums to visit throughout the world. Obviously, the budget influences the possibilities, but some do quite well without spending huge sums .
The Mad Max Museum
An interest that became a passion then downright an obsession. Adrian Bennett’s so loved the second part of the saga, shot in 1981 with Mel Gibson, he did move his family to Silverton , a clueless town in the Australian outback where scenes were filmed. Since then, he collects objects and builds replicas of vehicles such as the Interceptor, and it attracts its share of tourists.
The Hollywood Museum
We go to the opposite extreme. An enormous thing, mega expensive, held by the film industry itself … Which does not stop to recognize its interest. Scenarios, sets, costumes: you find everything. And above all, for decades, from silent films to blockbusters and other superhero films of today. On four floors, you will see more than 10,000 original pieces. Examples: Marylin’s dress, the cell of Hannibal Lecter in The silence of the lambs or the boxing gloves of Rocky.
The Lord of the Rings Museum
After being highlighted by a temporary exhibition in museums around the world, the trilogy now has its own permanent exhibition space. In Wellington, New Zealand, sets and costumes are shown to the public . Not to mention the mini-museum called “The Weta Cave” offering a tour of the shooting locations.
The Rancho Obi-Wan Museum
Founded by Steve Sansweet in Petaluna, California in 1998, this museum contains the largest collection of private objects dedicated to Star Wars. At present, we already count more than 300 000 pieces, for all episodes of the first in 1977 at 7, “The strength wakes up”, 2015 . Besides that, it offers visits to schools to introduce young people to this universe
The guy tells it with his bare hands, ah there it makes the guy eh.
The museum 007
The work of a fan, again. In this case Gunnar Schäfer, a Swede. So, normal, he opened it in Nybro, in his country. This museum is the first dedicated to the British spy and no less than 60,000 original pieces of films in the franchise . Like the snow scooter of “Die Another Day”, the BMW Z3 of “Goldeneye” and the early versions of the novels of the creator, novelist Ian Fleming.
The French cinematheque
Beyond all chauvinism Thierry Roland (and he was right to make us kiffer, compared to CJP), this museum remains a place to see for any lover of cinema. The film library is one of the largest and most expensive collections that exists, not surprising given the archives accumulated since 1936 . Small more stylish: the daily screenings and retrospectives of outstanding films, as well as the huge bookstore. Thanks to Henri Langlois and Georges Franju.
The Ghibli Museum
Close to Tokyo, in Mitaka, since 2001 it welcomes the fans of the films created by this famous Japanese animation studio. And you go about really good because the building was designed by Hayao Miyazaki, the director of that studio . At the entrance, you see a huge Totoro, inside you can walk as you please (it is even encouraged by the slogan “Lose us together”) or watch short films in the room Saturn. So, you want to go see what?
The post They are less big and expensive than George Lucas Museum but they deserve a visit first appeared on The Siver Times.

Fast and Furious 8, in theaters on April 12, will be the first film of the saga without Paul Walker in the credits. But according to Vin Diesel, he would have been very proud of it.
It’s November 30, 2013 that the actor Paul Walker was the death in a car accident. A death that marked the world, and especially his fellow Fast and Furious , which had become a real family for him, just as in the saga. In 2015, he returned to life in Furious 7 through computer generated images and the help of his brothers, Caleb and Cody Walker, to finish scenes that the actor had not had time To play. And a magnificent end had been reserved for him. Fast and Furious 8 , in theaters on April 12, will be the first film in the saga not to rely Paul Walker in the credits. But if his absence will certainly feel, Vin Diesel promises us that the actor would have been proud of the film. “I promised you that we would do something you would be proud of and I pray that this is the case … I miss you. Family over everything! ” Said Vin Diesel in tribute.
And if everything has not been easy, it is thanks to Paul Walker that Vin Diesel has found the strength to continue this franchise. “The arduous path to lead to production, the challenge of turning this last chapter to date. The record of the trailer, the world shocked by what this dark path involved … Pablo, you gave me strength. A purpose, a goal to accomplish ” , told the actor. And, indeed, in view of the first trailer, the franchise seems to take a much darker path. The fact that Dominic Toretto betrays his family, already. Even if he could do that for precisely protect, Vin Diesel we still tease her character would be “very, very dark” and that he would surely shock us. Finally, according to Michelle Rodriguez, Cipher, the character of Charlize Theron, may well be the most powerful villain of the franchise . That does not augur well. But that promises a new breath to the frankness. The death of Paul Walker will not have been in vain.
The post Fast and Furious 8: Vin Diesel “Paul Walker would have been proud” first appeared on The Siver Times.

A simple base “stooge” of the protagonist, some characters tear so you got end up thinking that the series would be nothing without them.

Andy Botwin in “Weeds”
It must be confessed, the series ends up going in circles and its plot does not take you in suspense as at the beginning. Delirium is running out of steam. Except Andy! Yet the brother-in-law Nancy enquille the spliffs and sockets, to the US. Eternal teenager, smoking, flirty and inveterate unemployed, it is no less great . When you see Shane and Silas, do you want an uncle like him. Not just to bullshit, also to explain things, to help you, not judge you or depress you. And yeah, Andy grows up and matures in As. Surely the personal that takes the most thick.
Charlie Runkle in “Californication”
Agent dedicated to the writer Hank Moody, Charlie does not spare his sentence. He works like a dog to find him contracts, projects, and cover its excesses. And above all, he accompanies his bitures and crappy plans. In addition, you feel that he tries to resist, to be reasonable, he would like to stay right … but he ends up getting engrainer every time. Too nice, too low. Really funny. Well, after when you see his relationship with his girlfriend (Marcy), you realize that it still lacks a box to small bald.
Serge mytho in the “Blocked”
According to one count, Sergio only appears in nine episodes of one hundred and twenty. It’s nothing. Yet he impressed people. Whenever an episode was dedicated to him, you typed the bar and talking to you all your buddies . It was THE thing to watch. A basic monologue wacky, absurd, which left too far and based on mythos as you has ever heard, you regaled you for 3/4 minutes. The proof, it was downright its spin-off from the end of “Blocked”.
Saul Goodman in “Breaking Bad”
Probably the most lawyer borderline and most delusional that exists. A small side Charlie Runkle has become embroiled in situations that pinball, manage somehow because he wants to live up; and another the mytho Serge for his ability to tell stories in total improvisation when to get out by eloquence. His legendary slogan, accompanied by his smile colgate of hustler, became a gimmick and the name of the spin-off dedicated to him : “Better call Saul!”
Barney Stinson in “How I Met Your Mother”
Yes, his presence shocks. For in the minds of all, Barney, this is the best character of “HYMYM”. This is the basis. Without him, we would have dropped well before the end. Still at the beginning, it’s a second-rate guy in history. Story told by Ted, seeking his wife and tells his kids how he has picked. Just read the title of the series, proof if any. In the end, Ted was friendly but could never take the series without the “legen-dary” Barney.
Ari Gold in “Entourage”
Another guy paid for décarcasser while the star benefits. Agent of actor Vincent Chase, Ari Gold is stoned to negotiate better contracts foal and makes the network like a pig. This is important networking. Still hanging on the phone, who is nicknamed “The Shark” makes you laugh, certainly more than if you croisais it true . Sexist, racist, complete asshole in general, it has everything to annoy. And that’s what tears. What is the one who has done most laugh?
The post So eggs, these series of secondary characters deserve a tribute first appeared on The Siver Times.
