From pure emotion! While The Vampire Diaries just bows out, we are still in mourning as we were addicted to the adventures of the heroes of Mystic Falls. And to celebrate an addictive series, here are 15 things we will miss!
It’s now over! And yes the meltynauts, after long hoping that all this could be a mere nightmare, we must now go to the obvious: The Vampire Diaries, it’s finished for good . Despite everything, the most iconic show of the CW will continue to live in our hearts and also on Netflix if the urge takes you to make you an incredible marathon. While we are trying to turn the page, the editor of melty wanted to take stock of everything we were going to miss. Because although the series was probably not the most brilliant in the world, it offered us absolutely fantastic moments and it’s time to pay her the tribute she deserves!
15 – The cliffhangers
What would the series with sharp fangs without its multiple twists? We’ll admit that The Vampire Diaries has managed to impress us on many occasions. Hello everyone! Today, we find ourselves for the most difficult chronicle I’ve had to write so far. I must confess that I am still totally upset by the Final Series of The Vampire Diaries . If I knew that I would dedicate this number to the most emblematic show of the CW , I did not know that I would literally have my heart broken by writing these lines. True, it was not the most brilliant series of all time, but she accompanied me for eight years and each season, each episode, each scene, each replica, every second represents a stage of my existence. This is the strength of a TV show and that is certainly why I have a special passion for this format that transports me like nothing else in the world can do . So, yesterday morning, when I discovered the latest images of The Vampire Diaries, I could not help crying in tears, saying goodbye to a period of my life that I would never forget. I felt so emptied that I decided to see the driver again but I was so overwhelmed by the emotion that I decided to pause and come directly to write my impressions after a Series Finale as epic as was The trip that started in 2009 on the American network. As I already told you, I immediately succumbed to the charm of the series. Touched by the characters, by the story and by the masterful way in which the script team managed to offer us magical moments with only words and a passive result, I had a sudden and unexplainable blow. I always had a weakness for the teen shows but they also corresponded to my age and this bubble that we build when we are only 15 years old. For The Vampire Diaries , everything was very different. I was 20 years old and I already had this culture seriesphile if I can afford to speak this way. After Dawson’s Creek , I had only one desire: Discover the new pearl of Kevin Williamson and I was not disappointed savoring every moment of the first seasons with an enthusiasm that I remember with a big smile on my lips. The series managed to get me through the whole palette of emotions and knew to surprise me better than any other . When I look back at this period, I can not help being grateful because I do not want to forget those cliffhangers who remain, still now, my best television moments for nothing in the world.
Over time, inevitably, the intrigues have crumbled and the extraordinary of the beginnings has turned into an incredible disappointment. After being so good, hard not to blame the writers for falling sometimes very low. To the rhythm of the evolutions, the deaths, the departures, the bad guys and the love stories, I remained faithful to the post sometimes wishing that it stopped while there was still time. Today, when the final episode was broadcast, I can not contain my grief. I am happy with this Series Finale and even though it seemed very frustrating, it had the looks of greatness. A charm of the first seasons that knew how to touch my heart. When I started the series, I was deeply on Damon’s side. His sarcastic, passionate and whole side seduced me enormously. And at that moment, I would have accepted without a doubt the end that Julie Plec and his team offered us last night. But I have since taken a step back and have seen the episodes quite a few times to realize that the true hero of the story was none other than Stefan. His quest did not end before this final episode, but he literally did everything he could to be forgiven for his mistakes. He gave everything for Elena and although I can not consider myself a Stelena or a Delena, I am categorically behind Stefan . Looking at “I Was Feeling Epic” , I realized that I was hoping for his happy ending more than anything. Admittedly, Caroline was always my favorite character but without really realizing it, I had put my whole soul in the hope that he would get what he wanted for so long: His redemption. I know he had what he wanted in a certain way but when I saw the pilot and his immediate and unselfish love for Elena, I would have liked him to taste the real happiness at least a little before we Saying goodbye.
As sad as I may have been by discovering the latest images in the series, I also felt what the writers had wanted to convey to us. In real life, everything does not always end well. Sometimes we have broken hearts, losing the most important person in our lives, suffering from despair, believing that we will never be able to overcome an obstacle, but ultimately, A better existence will never fly away. Those who have left us have never really disappeared and we will find them one day . Above all, the series was not a romantic story in spite of appearances but a series whose main theme was the family.
You can tell me what you want, but The Vampire Diaries has marked me forever . I would never forget Mystic Falls and the characters who lived there. It is finished today but I console myself by saying to me that it is by continuing to pay tribute to the best assets of the series that it will endure forever. I am clearly cheesy in writing your lines, forgive me. I have really invested in the last eight years and maybe more than I imagined. The show has made many missteps but I would retain the flashes of geniuses and the extraordinary replicas of which I foolishly fell in love with the episodes. Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast episode 12 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. Then discover our review of “What Are You?”.
Stefan Salvatore is human! At the end of episode 11 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , Bonnie injected him the remedy against vampirism after he violently killed Enzo. Stefan must now assume the consequences of his actions and live with a very big guilt. In “What Are You?” , Stefan is directly confronted with the horrors he committed while working for Cade, after being arrested by the police with – literally – blood on his hands. Fortunately for him, he can always count on the support and unconditional love of Damon and Caroline. While Damon makes a new pact with the devil, promising Cade to bring him the Maxwell’s newspaper in exchange for Stefan’s survival, Caroline releases Stefan from prison and helps her repair one of her faults.
Meanwhile, Alaric, Dorian and Matt continue to investigate the Maxwell family and mostly on strange dreams that Matt does. Soon they realize that they are directly related to Ethan Maxwell’s diary and that Matt is reliving what happened when the twelve strokes were sounded on the bell and that 100 witches died sacrificed . It is discovered that Ethan was close to one of the ancestors of Bonnie, a sorceress then, and that communicated by code with her. The Vampire Diaries Season 8: Stefan, what will happen to him?

Stefan Salvatore has come up with a lot in the last episodes of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries. How will his character evolve after these turnarounds? Warning, this article contains spoilers.
Since Stefan made a pact with the devil – literally – his life took a very bad turn. First, he failed to control his insatiable appetite for human blood, making him a Ripper again. Then, he totally questioned his relationship with Caroline, which disarranged her even strong. Then he wanted to take Elena out of Damon’s life and what better way to get her way than to try to kill her? Finally, he killed Enzo St. John just before Bonnie, with the latter retaliating by injecting him the blood of Elena supposed to contain the remedy against vampirism . So we left it like that, without really knowing whether the injection worked or not. In fact, the first question is: Will Stefan be human in episode 12 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , which will air tomorrow night on the American channel The CW ?
If you believe the video promo of “What Are You?” In any case, everything leaves to pass that Stefan Salvatore is no longer a vampire . Really, the season 8 of The Vampire Diaries has not finished crying us. After the death of Tyler in the first half of the season, now is Enzo leaving us and Stefan after he had ripped the heart to the horror of Bonnie … A tragic scene, especially when we know that the two lovebirds planned to live a peaceful life as a human because Enzo had agreed to the remedy against vampirism . While episode 11 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries was broadcast last night on the CW, let’s go back in detail to the major events that marked “You Made A Choice To Be Good”!
We will miss you! And yes meltynautes, while the most emblematic series of the CW soon will bid farewell, we had to resolve to leave our hope for a happy ending usually fly after the death of Enzo. And that breaks our hearts so much Bonnie and Enzo had, during the episodes, knew how to seduce us and to soften us. If there was someone who deserved a happy ending, it was her. We do not know yet if there is hope to save Enzo but one thing is certain, Benzo was an asset for the show and the disappearance of Enzo will leave us forever a bitter taste. Is Damon again on the side of the Gentiles? And yes the meltynauts, after weeks in which Bad Damon shook the streets of the country, the election of the Miss Mystic Falls was the ideal theater to allow our favorite vampire to find the best part of himself: Elena. And it was time! After Tyler’s murder or the horrible deal with Cade, Damon now has to face up to his mistakes if he wants to be worthy of forgiveness by the time Elena wakes up. While the editorial ‘of melty proposed to discover if Caroline and Stefan were destined to go to hell in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , back together on “The Simple Intimacy of the Near Touch” aired last night on the CW . If the reunion of Caroline and Stefan are far from happening as expected, we loved the confrontation of the pretty blonde and Damon.
