Yeah, a few days ago, we learned that the youngest of the Kardashian / Jenner clan would play it solo. After Rob Kardashian or Khloé, we discover that Kylie Jenner was going to launch “Life of Kylie”, her own reality show . This is a big step for the young woman, whose business has only been exploding for several years. One thing is for sure, we have not finished hearing about it. And if we thought that Kylie Jenner could not surprise us, here she is. Kendall’s little sister got into a prom last weekend with a stranger. No, no, you’re not dreaming !
It’s a pretty amazing story! While he did not have a date to attend his prom, the “poor” Albert Ochoa found the perfect girlfriend to make her big entrance. So it was in the company of Kylie Jenner, now separated from Tyga , that the young man appeared last weekend in Sacramento, California. For this event, the youngest of the Kardashian had donned an ultra sexy dress. Obviously, the people who were there were in shock. In a matter of minutes, the crowd crowded around the “couple” and thousands of photos were taken. One thing is for sure, Kylie Jenner has succeeded ! Here is a nice revenge for Albert Ochoa!
The post Kylie Jenner gets in a prom with a stranger first appeared on The Siver Times.

Some things seem to deserve more attention and recognition, it starts with a good feeling. This is the case for these series.
For once it’s in the positive sense, it’s still better. Because generally, we leave more room for debate on the side stuff (players, movies, groups, games, etc.), so to the negative. Here we will be in positive criticism! And we will limit ourselves to the series of the last decade, otherwise we have not left the hostel (Spanish, or whatever you want).
The disastrous adventures of orphans Baudelaire
An original series launched on Netflix which despite the good reviews did not find its audience. A childish side with dances and songs, allowing Neil Patrick Harris to shine , and another very adult by his black and sarcastic humor. Too bad because it is really stylish. Suddenly, everyone spoke of “Stranger Things” and other series. But if you have time, try it, it’s the beauty of streaming: it’s available when you’re hot.
The Ricky Gervais Show
Basically it was a podcast and not just any one: one of the most popular. Then HBO wanted to adapt it in series, in animation mode. An original direction and a rather convincing result, giving a cartoon with punchlines of egg and crazy situations . Often when Stephen and Ricky handle Karl! But the three seasons did not make so many views that, the audience remained limited. At the same time, the broadcast schedules were not top.
Rick and Morty
Adored by a certain community of unconditional fans, ignored or downright unknown by others. Sad fate for one of the best comedy series, much less renowned than the Simpsons or Les Griffins. Basically , it’s a parody of “Back to the Future” where Doc is a drunk alcoholic and drugged, while Marty turns out to be a little unmanageable nervous, chaining chess . Very cynical, alternating wacky jokes and striking findings of justness, the series deserves more spectators and publicity.
Ghosts
A French series which is worth the detour, then it must be said. Dealing with death and resurrection, it clearly gives place to drama and reflection. With a good dose of stress, tension, discomfort! Basically, dead people come back to life, and go back to their lives before as if nothing had happened. Because they did not realize they were dead, actually … A very “rational” and psychological delirium that changes other zombie series where blood and gore prevail . There you cogitate and you anxiously. Still.
Love
A creation that one owes to Judd Appatow, best known for his films now, while he is the author of a few series mine of nothing. Alas all a little depreciated, like “Freaks and Geeks” or the latest in date, “Love”. Exploring the world of modern romance, with humor and intelligence , analyzing it and making it live without falling into easy criticism, the series shows us two endearing characters, Mickey and Gus. Which form a couple that one likes to look at and see evolve.
The Americans
Quality at all levels. Actors, plot, sets and costumes, photography … Really good work and a series that should be a reference at the moment. Located in the 1980s, the story shows two Russian spies sent to the United States to glean information and refer all this to the mother country . Under cover obviously, in normal and well-integrated American mode. The father is almost too much (he kiffe limits the capitalist delirium the rogue), the mother less, the children sympathize with children of agents of the FBI … Very interesting to watch, especially today with the frenzied communications On the influence of Putin during the American elections. Who can confirm that one of these series is worth it?
The post These undercutting series deserve a little recognition of brothel first appeared on The Siver Times.

Reflex, when a series has good reviews, it is assumed that it comes from the States. While this is not always the case.
Let us pay tribute to the little ones. To the outsiders. To David against Goliath. Without having similar means, these series gain to be known, therefore to be seen. And then it will change a bit, because it must be admitted that the majority of our series are stamped USA Go, change is now (it goes, we do not laugh a little …).
3% (Brazil)
A series launched by Netflix in Brazil, where the site has established itself, faithful to its habit (cf Marseille in France). In short, we see a society divided between the rich and the poor, clearly. It is also the subject of the plot: a selection is put in place in order to give a chance to young people (20 years old) despaired to join the Other Shore , that is to say the haves, the Privileged. Convened in a building, they chained the tests, individual or collective, mostly intellectuals. And only 3% of them will be chosen, the lucky ones elected. Hence the title! A series of anticipations, in Portuguese, with no crazy financial means, one is caught by the different characters, one discovers the past and motivations by flashback. Accuracy: When you pass on the other side,
Orphan Black (Canada)
Diving into science fiction, where a woman realizes she has multiple clones. In this case Sarah Manning, back in her city, who sees Beth, throw herself under a train. Yeah, not super cheer like business. Since she looked like two drops of water, Sarah assumed the identity of Beth. Before realizing that she has a flop of look-alikes … The “sisters” will then make common cause to understand their origins and what is framed. A rather dramatic subject that remains pleasant to follow given the complexity of the characters for whom our feelings evolve, the fine and intelligent humor, and the remarkable performance of the actress Tatiana Maslany who plays all the roles of sisters, with Brio. Change character, accents, make us forget that it is one and the same interpreter,
Public Enemy (Belgium)
This Belgian series, inspired by the Dutroux affair, does not aim at a faithful adaptation, but rather shows the arrival in the Ardennes of a murderer of children. After twenty years of jail, Guy Béranger wishes to pass his conditional in the abbey of Vielsart . Of course, this does not happen without a few eddies … The reaction of the inhabitants, the behavior of the inspector in charge of monitoring, the monks: all points of view are discussed. And when a girl disappears, it gets cold. And the characters surprise us, in every sense of the word. Secrets, false leads, revelations, it’s well written and captivating to watch.
Walk in the Shade (Canada)
Centered on the prison universe, however different from what one is accustomed to see. Because the plot here focuses on the rehabilitation of prisoners, their upstream work with dedicated professionals, including criminologists. Desiring glued to reality, the creators chose criminologists to 90% female, like Rachel . Which is going to be called into question following a hanging with a prisoner. The confrontations are just and realistic, the tension takes you by the throat, the emotions flock. A good series to subdue. The only challenge is to understand everything and to be done quickly with the accent of Quebec.
Cleverman (Australia and New Zealand)
So, that denounces! An Australian-New Zealand production that treats, in a roundabout way but not so much, the segregation of the Aborigines in Australia . Here represented by the Hairy, mutants chased, persecuted and imprisoned by humans, they evolve in a hostile environment and undergo deplorable conditions of life. To give a more fictional side to this political dystopia, creators inject fantasy with supernatural and mystical powers entrusted to Cleverman, the sage of the Hairy / Aborigines.
Trapped (Iceland)
There is much talk about Scandinavian detective novels, here is another part of this same talent with this Icelandic series composed of ten episodes of 52 minutes. Broadcast on France 2 last year, as a bonus, this one deserved well this honor. The plot takes place in a small port village where a body is found mutilated . The local police first blocked the occupants – and first suspects – of the ferry, before having to do it alone, following the arrival of a snow storm that prevents the arrival of Reykjavik reinforcements. As often, the secrets are numerous between the inhabitants, the characters are complex, the false tracks numerous. A kind of closed door very well conducted. Someone has already looked at them and loved them?
The post Another series that tears, they are strong these Amé … ah bah no it is not ricain first appeared on The Siver Times.

Use a conversation where more than two people participate
From the outset, one avoids the face to face classic and relou described in the intro. There, with at least three people discussing, it is enough to have the name of a character spoken and to point the camera towards him . And hop, at least one identified! Kind of scred ‘, of course, like: “By the way, Bernard, what do you think about it?”
Show character name
Another feint. Rather than say it, make it heard, we must mount it, make it see. Via a plaque on the door of his office, an inscription on his professional card, a letter addressed to him … or even squarely an advertising display as for Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad.
Create a waiting scene where their name is necessarily given
Like us, when we go to the doctor, the hairdresser, to an interview or any other official appointment. The character will be there, waiting to be called, wisely, and so will be his name . On the other hand, it is necessary to give a minimum of meaning to the scene. Otherwise, we’re gonna be shit …
Use mobile phone calls and messages
Here is an idea that it is good. In addition, it is the image of our everyday life so it will seem perfectly natural. When you call someone, you usually introduce yourself . Question of politeness, already, and common sense, then, if not the other at the end of the wire will grieve to understand what you want, why … Concerning texting, it is even simpler. Simply film the name of the contact indicated on the screen and the trick is played.
Make two characters talk about a nearby third
Not necessarily wrong, in the language of motherfucker. It does not matter, it’s free. Simply, to make a conversation between two characters about a third allows to show the latter. Easy. We have more than making the name-face link . Normally, it is feasible.
Never mention the character’s name
This happens much more often than you think. And what is also less serious and embarrassing than we think. Seriously, you can very well follow the characters, understand the film and debrief after but without knowing his name . You have other means of designating it. In Fight Club, for example, Edward Norton is “the narrator”. That’s all, no name. And many of us did not even realize it.
Make a scene
Both literally and figuratively. In contrast to the previous technique, here we focus on the name and nothing else. So there must of course be a staging, an explanation, that serves the story . These conditions fulfilled, the film can spend two minutes on a name. Like McLovin in Super Grave. So, who feels warm to write a script now that this major problem is resolved?
The post How to give the name of a character without it being all banal and none first appeared on The Siver Times.

You just spent two hours in front of the screen, you debrief tranquillou and you want to talk about a character … But how broken is his name? In fact, his name is never given.

We all know this unpleasant situation. All of a sudden, you realize that you have no idea, no memory, of the name of the person you are talking about. You stress, you block, you insist, you guilt … You say that it is abused to have zapped, that there is necessarily a time when his name is given. Most of the time, yes, you have a goldfish memory. Except in these cases, where the characters of films have no name. We will give the name of the actor, to know who we are talking about!
Ryan Gosling in “Drive”
Go ahead, I’ll let you look to see. There’s bound to be a moment when his garage owner or the little blonde calls him by his name anyway … Well no. The only way that Ryan Gosling is nominated is “The driver” .
Clint Eastwood in “And for a few dollars more”
The handsome kid and heartless cowboy that marked us all. You still see the photos of Clint jeunot, and you think he had to pack the rogue without problem. There’s just a kind of nickname, Monco, but we know that this is not his real blaze and we will never know . Clint Eastwood in And for a few dollars more
Edward Norton in “Fight Club”
In the end, you only hear the name of his double evil, interpreted by Brad Pitt, Tyler Durden. As for the employee died of boredom that tells his life, as it is the narrator, we pay less attention to the fact of not knowing its name . And if you remember well, you will see that no other person calls him by any name.
The jurors in “Twelve angry men”
Another classic, Sidney Lumet in this case, who enjoys not to reveal the names of the protagonists. Until the denouement, jurors will be called only by their number . Only two of them will see their name revealed at the end, which leaves ten characters without names. Still.
Marylin Monroe in “Seven Years of Reflection”
The film that made her a planetary and eternal star. The proof, the scene is still spoken, with her skirt that rises under the effect of wind coming out of a subway entrance . Without seeing the film, you see the picture. And Marylin is none other than “The Girl”, no specific name.
Viggo Mortensen in “The Road”
Let us return to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. The idea came from the novelist Cormac McCarthy, author of the book that was cardboard and then adapted into film by John Hillcoat. The explanation? Nameless characters allowed to make the world history, accessible to all . Viggo Mortensen is simply called “The Man”. And the other actors also have names like “Woman”, “Old Man”, “Boy” …).
Daniel Craig in “The layer cake”
It was in 2004, and the Englishman was playing an unnamed cocketed dealer. Moreover, the credits, appeared next to his name this: “XXXX” . And two years later he became James Bond in Casino Royale. Since then, Daniel Craig has been transformed into James Bond. That is the limit of what people call it today. What a life. Were you stuck at the end of one of these movies to find the name of the character?
The post Do not panic when you do not know his name at the end of the movie, it’s normal first appeared on The Siver Times.

Hours after the spread of the mid-season finale of Season 7 of The Walking Dead, one wonders if SPOILERS have not been introduced in “Hearts Still Beating”.

Just a few hours AMC aired the last episode of the year 7 of The Walking Dead season and after you revealed who had died in the mid-season finale , it’s already the second half of the season we interest. Beware of spoilers if you have not seen the episode! In “Hearts Still Beating”, we find Rick and Aaron refueling mission, but a special plan has aroused our curiosity. While the two men load the truck with their findings and prepare to head back to Alexandria, mysterious booted feet make their appearance . So someone was present to observe. The scene was repeated at the end of the episode when a new observer spy Father Gabriel and despite the optimistic tone of the last few minutes of “Hearts Still Beating”, one can not help but worry and wonder who could observe.
Obviously it does not need more to ask us if the series does not just introduce a new hostile community: Whisperers / Whisperers. In the comics by Robert Kirkman, the Whisperers are a particularly deadly, barbaric group that masquerades as walkers to go unnoticed . Although it is a bit early in the series to do their arrival, we know that the writers sometimes arrange some intrigue to the needs of the small screen but also to create surprise among fans who read the comics. Furthermore the showrunner Scott Gimple had already declared “that it was not impossible that the Whisperers or aspects thereof are introduced into the series earlier than what we would expect when we know the comic” . It is therefore possible that these mysterious shots are a warning about the imminent arrival of Whisperers.
There are other possibilities, such as the fact whether some women who have followed Oceanside Tara to Alexandria although it’s hard to understand what it could bring them. It could also be a new character, can be original and unique to the series, that would surprise some fans about the intrigues of the suite . Finally, some fans speculate about the presence of Dwight who have fled the sanctuary to spend “the other side” before the war started as his alter-ego comics but one must admit that it might be a little early for this arc of his character. For now they are therefore on Whisperers that we build, and now as Alexandria and Hilltop are willing to cooperate, the introduction of a new group could further accentuate the challenges of the second half of the season. Nevertheless it will take until February to find out who it is and wait until then, our criticism of the episode 8 of Season 7 of The Walking Dead is available melty. And you, do you have any idea who it could be?
The post The Walking Dead Season 7: Episode 8, which observes Rick and Aaron?
