Knowing that we’ve already seen them, eh. One only wants to go back hours, with their characters and their delusions. In binge watching mode.
We are ready to pass on the outfits and haircuts, sign that we really like them. Because we are not going to lie either, it was a bit lollipop sometimes the 90s. But at least the guys were creative, inventing things. Whether it’s music (hip-hop, grunge), cinema (special effects), in our life (internet): quite a few devolutions took place in the 90’s. Here we focus on the best series, the ones we would look at again from beginning to end if they were to go back (completely and in the right direction, eh, not like the police series on TF1 at random) on TV or on Netflix.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
According to the credits that sends pate, she is the “elected” of her generation, she “will face the vampires, demons and force of the evil”. Aloooors, what are you gonna do? Yeah, you can get carried away when you’re a kid, deep inside. Today, we would be calmer, of course. What ? It is clear: the hero manages his race, without having super powers and leaving Marvel or DC. Come on, the examples to explain all that.
Great powers involve great responsibilities. Small powers also, sometimes, when something falls on you and you have to get out, with your means. Which can potentially make you a super hero, when you solve everything, remaining a normal man. But not trivial. Here are the movies you have to look for.
Men in black
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones interpret two secret agents, hired by a secret agency, to control the arrival and the acts of extraterrestrials on earth. Representing and practicing the law, facing not only aliens but also well-motivated terrorists and enemies, J and K are very close to The Shield . At the same time, the film is inspired by a comic, then inevitably. But here we have two men, not superheroes.
Harry Potter
Again a possible comparison with a superhero movie, released recently. Dr. Strange, in this case. Harry, like him, is born with the ability to resort to magic and mysticism . Hardly announced, rumors already evoke the presence of Deadshot in the solo film of Harley Quinn: Gotham City Sirens!
If you missed an episode, a spinoff around Harley Quinn is currently in preparation. Titled Gotham City Sirens , this new production is expected to follow the adventures of the latter alongside heroines Poison Ivy and Catwoman, Nina Dobrev dream to interpret. In short, a film from the universe DC Comics entirely dedicated to the female characters of the stable to the dense mythology that Warner would like to develop on the big screen.
